Scooperb Basingstoke in Basingstoke and Deane

I have been 2 times before, the price is SO expensive, but it’s so yummy I still come. We came and got charged an extra £2.50 just for dairy free ice cream and £1 extra (add on to £4.50) for plain waffle. I asked how this is fair and the pricing as my friend and I are splitting, I got spoken to like I was stupid and after understanding what the worker meant, she rudely said ‘that’s what I said!’. Not to mention the 15 minute wait and we waited 10 minutes before she even started to cook the waffle. This ruined my experience and will be the last time coming here!

This place had been recommended to me by my daughters so went for a birthday treat. Was told we would need to wait twenty minutes as the waffle maker had to heat up. Fair enough. The first two of the four orders came within twenty minutes but the third took a lot longer. The fourth came after about 45 minutes and was just chocolate ice-cream with whipped cream. This should have been prepared in five minutes. Three of us had finished eating at this point. The reason for this was because other customers had come in and were having their orders taken before our order had been prepared. The owners need to have at least two members of staff because with just one person doing everything it is no surprise that people were kept waiting. I won't be going back.

We wanted to visited Scooperb yesterday (myself and toddler son) and saw on your door that you open at 11am. We returned just after 11am and there did not appear to be any sign of life inside. We waited for a few minutes but then left to eat at one of your competitors. There is no signage at the window to say whether you’ve closed down and your website and Google say you should open at 11am. Would be great to know as I had quite a disappointed toddler.

I ordered two kulfis and had to wait for 45 minutes and the malai kulfi was completely melted. As an old customer, I had a very bad experience today.

Lovely place, polite and helpful, waffle amazing so much flavour and very tasty, definitely recommend, we will be back

Really enjoyed my biscoff waffle and my wife loved her Oreo surprise cookie dough - so delicious and will definitely be coming back at half term with the kids to sample the numerous ice cream flavours!
