This isn't an understatement but there is no where in East I'd rather go than Sazzy & Fran for an oat flat white. The barista with the short hair was fantastic!

Sucha lovely local café and I couldn't believe everything was Vegan! The service was great- Jessie and TJ had the most beautiful glowing auras and were so incredibly lovely and patient with me (usually a carnivore). They talked me through the whole menu and gave me a few giggles along the way. I shall definitely be making this a regular haunt!

Absolutely gorgeous little local cafe with great service and brunch style food options. Whilst it may be vegan, their cheese toasties could stand up amongst any non vegan options. Love the greenery inside, Huw is just fab and their matcha and cinnamon rolls are exquisite.

5* for the brownies alone, they are AMAZING

Great place, which we caught just as it was about to close. The food was good and a good selection of toasties to choose from

Cute place and food looked good but wasn't blown away by the taste. The acai bowl didn't really taste of acai and I think they used frozen berries on top and for the pancakes too which was a bit disappointing. It wasn't bad but we were just expecting it to be a bit better.

Friendly & cosy coffee shop & vegan cafe on the Roman Rd. in Bethnal Green. (near tube station and Young V&A ) Whilst there are a few places to choose from around this area, Sazzy &Fran is the one we keep going back to; Always a warm welcome, they have a great selection of coffee to have in, takeaway or even freshly ground beans to make at home. Lots of tasty, healthy food items for breakfast (we love the home made granola & porridge) lunch or afternoon snack - their homemade Dahl for lunch is excellent. Lots more to choose from, including a good range of toasties and cakes. Service is always spot on, warm and friendly.

I’m afraid to say the food is not good and very basic, especially considering the price. A terrible representation of vegan cuisine. We ordered avocado toast, banana toast and a couple of hot breakfast muffins which both tasted like a cheap school dinner and the poor presentation showed a complete lack of effort. The toilet was also surprisingly grubby for only mid-morning. Coffee was nice though and the FoH staff were doing their best.

Dahl was watery and tasteless. I have to say I’d expect something better for nearly £7!

Having a hearty bowl of porridge with a cappuccino. Cappuccino is from a rich bean and tastes great, while the porridge has the right consistency! The staff are warm and friendly, quick service and mindful. Always pop in here if I'm doing anything at the LBC :) keep up the great work ✨

Been coming here for over a year but sadly the food quality seems to be slipping every time. The vegan smoked salmon bagel is my go-to, however they don’t give you a lemon wedge like they used to, the tiniest amount of cream cheese, and today the bagel was stale and not toasted. :( not the worst thing in the world but disappointing for the price. The service is quite slow so don’t come if you’re in a rush, but maybe that was a one off. I will continue to support, but I hope it has a turn around as I love the food selection

For the most part this place is really nice. I usally come here to do my work and have zoom meetings with a coffee and breakfast. But today was awful. Extremely loud jungle music was playing all day... and im talking that loud i could hear it from downstairs. I had to leave because i had an extremely important zoom meeting and this horrible loud music would have made it impossible to do it. When im hear usally the music is quite and calm. But not today. Honestly if this continues i don't think i will be coming back.

I don't live in the area but I stopped by because I saw a review that mentioned cinnamon rolls.I'm from the TN,USA and it's difficult to find good cinnamon rolls here so I tried my luck and I'm glad I did. The coffee is also amazing! For a second I thought I was back home. Thank you Sazzy & Fran for a little taste of home!

I always go to Sazzy & Fran to have lunch, and it's usually for the dhal soup. I don't live in London, but I volunteer somewhere nearby and this place is walking distance so it's always nice to be able to pop in whenever I'm in the area.

Irene is a freaking legend. Patience incarnate and the maker of PERFECT coffees - check out my oat decaf flat white. Also avoid tasting the Brownie. You can’t stop once you do! 😬

Local acogedor de desayunos veganos muy ricos y bien elaborados. Pedimos tostadas con aguacate( súper ricas) y bagel con Zalmon( un falso salmón vegano elaborado a base de zanahorias que lo hacen ellos mismos), también súper rico. El café muy rico, y el Matcha muy muy bueno. Nos atendió una chica española muy amable. Tiene terraza, planta principal y sótano

To be honest, it was a little bit expensive for Bethnal Green. The coffee is very good, you can tell that its of good quality. The food is tasty, but very overprized. 4/5

You have not lived until you have had the Zalmon bagel.

Cheap frozen produce made to sound good is not the way to go. Using cheap carton concentrate juice n a bit of frozen Kale does not make a "healthy" smoothy as you advertise it....infact it gave me the runs!! What kind of ethics are these? Total micky take out of vegans trying to find good healthy food while we're out n about.... very disappointing. And don't get me started on your pre made frozen Spinach rolls that cost a pound on line from Greek companies.... girl bye

This is a very warm place, small and cool at the same time. The people were really kind to answer my questions. And I loved having my breakfast there. Such a lovely place for vegan people and others😍

Enjoyed brunch here but wouldn’t say it was great value for money, the açai bowl was over £10 and the portion sizes are small. I got the vegan frittata which was tasty but my friend had the vegan cheese toastie which was not filling. The coffee, though, is great. I had a large cappuccino for £3.60 and it tasted delicious. The staff were friendly too.

Awful. Awkward and uncomfortable environment. Rubbish food, rubbish coffee, then forgot our açai bowl and served it as we were leaving. And all overpriced to boot.

Bijou vegan cafe that gets everything right. Oat and soy flat whites are excellent (maybe competing with Nkora for best in class locally). The vegan BLT is reliable tasty. And the açaí gets everything right. Friendly and relaxed too.

Having lived in Bethnal Green for a good few years now, I decided to try this place last week. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and attentive, though seemed visibly distressed by what I can only assume is their manager. Admittedly I was too slightly intimidated by him (an Italian man with a yellow hat). He couldn’t even acknowledge me and he was stood on his phone, not paying attention. That being said, the coffee was nice but not sure I’ll return.

Delicious and unique vegan food — some of the best I’ve had in London. The hazelnut and vanilla crown had such a lovely filling, the frittata was creamy and rich, and the brownie was thick and sweet.

Was really cold inside not cozy at all, the doors were all the time open. The soup was warmed all the time and as I ordered it almost before closing, I felt sick after that.

We had a delicious lunch here last week - the red lentil soup with crispy onions on top was amazing - so tasty! My colleague's salad looked really good too. Nice atmosphere and super friendly staff - great place all round.

The staff is very unfriendly, and their customer service is awful. They are very disrespectful to customers. Last time the waitress even dropped the plate with the salad from my frittata plate on my leg and didn't even apologize or offer a commercial gesture. As for the food, you never know if it's gonna be good or bad. I don't recommend.

No longer a vegan cafe, and I've been served cows' milk instead of plant milk. Allergen labelling is poor

I’ve brought avocado toast many times from here. What I got today was an absolute disappointment. To start off with there’s barely any avocado, if there was not enough I should have been informed, I could have gone somewhere else. I struggled to eat the toast because it was so salty, and the toppings were just mounted on one corner, there was no chilli flakes, which is specifically what I requested for. There’s is no number provided for the cafe so had to resort to leaving a review. Quite annoyed right now, walked in the Sun to get it and payed about a tenner.

Thoroughly impressed by the vegan BLT! I was a bit hesitant because I find vegan bacon is a hit or miss but this was so delicious! The texture was spot on. I ordered off Uber eats so it arrived a bit cold but I just reheated it on the stove top to make the bread crispy again. The portion is big too! I only ate half and felt full. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again and if I’m ever in the area, I’d love to stop in!

The best coffee in East London, and much more than that! Having breakfast at Sazzy & Fran on Saturday is arguably the high point of our week. Amazing food and drink and super-friendly staff (even with forgetful customers). Must try: zalmon bagel, acai bowl, BLT as well as the smoothies.

I had the zalmon bagel which tasted alright, but was heavily undersalted. I asked for salt but they only had a grinder out of which barely anything came out. Contrary to what was written on the menu, there also wasn’t any pepper on it. This by itself wouldn’t have justified giving only 2 stars. I asked for tap water at first, which I only received after asking again. Generally speaking, the three women working there seemed more interested in chatting to each other than spending any attention or any word more than necessary to customers. I have never felt so unwelcome before in any cafe in London. Genuinely disappointed.

best flat white ever and the vegan almond croissant was delicious. We enjoyed the downstairs area too.

Standards have dropped . The flat white doesn't taste like it used to. Pastries are dry and savoury food is over priced for what it is .

Spent hours at this wonderful cafe and I am convinced they have the best zalmon cream cheese bagel in london and I managed to get some work done in the outdoor seating area 😁
