I wanted to order food but the staff were very rude just because it was close to closing time and I didn't order for that reason

Ordered special kebab for mushrooms and peppers but got a plain kebab. Messy burger was meant to come with cheese egg and mushrooms but had no cheese. Usually enjoy from here but disappointing

Don’t trust them! I ordered large lamb kebab wrap and received small lamb kebab wrap in just 5min! Basically if you want to receive what you ordered you must stand and LOOK at your meat being cooked - make sure that half of it is NOT going somewhere else and IS in your ACTUAL order! Don’t trust these guys Used to be good, I live locally and been regular for 6-7years

This is my fourth time buying Kebab here I have bought large size 3 times and was satisfied (£11.99) but today 15th January I ordered an extra large size to take away (£13.99) when I unwrapped it at home I was surprised to see it was the same size as yesterday's Large size! On December 15th, I ordered from this place and had a very bad experience. The delivery driver from the restaurant called me saying he was at my place and I couldn’t understand the rest of what he was saying because the connection was bad, so I told him that I’m coming down to meet him. I go to the place where he is supposed to meet me and he is no where to be found. I go outside to look for him and he is still no where to be found. I tried calling him, but the call ended up going to Uber Eats support. I called the restaurant and whoever I was talking to was really professional and understanding when I explained the situation. He said the driver will call me again, so I went back inside to wait for the phone call as it was cold. The driver called me again minutes later telling me that he was here and I told him that I am on my way and to meet me outside. I’m outside reception where the app tells him to meet me at and while looking for him, he drives towards me, exits his car and starts getting aggressive with me. (This guy was parked in the car park the whole time and didn’t bother to meet me where the app told him to meet me at. Unprofessional). I tried to calm the confrontation down and tried explaining the situation, but he just kept on throwing a fit. All I just wanted was my food and I didn’t want to get into a fight because I had a terrible hangover that day. I tried apologising again just so he can calm down and he finally gave me my food which is just all I wanted. I didn’t spend £17 just to get yelled at. My problem is not with the restaurant, just the delivery driver alone. Just way too unprofessional it’s not the way customers are supposed to be treated. The food itself was not the best and I will not be ordering from this restaurant based on the experience alone.

Lucky they gettin 1 because I rate it ZERO I’ve been going here for years 3 times a week till the apparent boss man decided to deep fat fry my burger microwave my pitta after I asked for it to be toasted gave money back claimed he was the boss I came in to speak to the boss and he’s second boss I then said well now u will lose my customer he said I don’t care discusting customer service and the food wouldn’t have even fed it to my dog !

Just had a delivery after a short wait the food. Was terrible the meat was cold and hard and Greasy no large pieces just the ends of the strips which was burnt have used a few time in the past and it’s been fine meal went straight in the bin very disappointing

I didn’t want a full salad but I requested fresh onion in my kebab and for the second week I did not receive this - disappointing as I enjoy onion with my kebab.

The cheese that was spread all over the kebab tasted like it was out of date so made the kebab taste horrible.

Asked for my pizza well done it’s got more soggy dough then Pompey on a rainy day had to put it in my air fryer to Crispin it up and still no good utter dig don’t use unless you want chips there spot on

The last 2 times I have ordered a meal from San Kebab I orderedPhish food icecream for dessert. On both occasions they delivered caramel chew instead. To be fair, I did point this out to the delivery driver, but icecream melting by that point and family looking forward to it so said I would accept… but told him that I had expected fish food icecream. If san kebab can not provide this, the should remove from choice of products. V v disappointed

Delivered 30 mins early and no tracking online . Chips definitely not freshly cooked, which let them down, as the mix meat doner was fantastic.

I decided to order from San Kebab last night only to be very disappointed! I wasn't able to order anything under £15 so I ordered a medium kebab with a side of chips, but what I had delivered wasn't exactly the same! What I received was a TINY kebab that didn't even make up the size of a regular sized kebab, let alone the medium size I ordered. The portion of chips was no better either. The quality of the food was also disappointing what with being very dry and not even very warm, and the variety of salad was minimal. I'm VERY disappointed with San Kebab after this and won't be ordering from them again if this is the standard what they deliver to their customers.

Nice fast food shop close to the beach. The service was fast, the premises were clean. The price is affordable and the meal is in good quantity. The only thing that I didn't like was the bread that was tasteless and very dry. The meat was good but again a bit dry.

I have been using this place ever since I came to Portsmouth in 2015. It's a cracking little kebab shop which delves pizza's and burgers. Great after visiting the pub or you need a quick snack after a short walk with the dog. The meat is decently seasoned, pitta bread is a little small and feels a little cheap. The range of salad is good, although they could provide a little more. Overall I think it's a great place takeaway which could do with a few improvents.

Been my fave kebab house for around 15 years, still the best kebabs in portsmouth. Tried the signature chips with cheese and was so impressed I had to order it again, bit less sauce on them this time but still amazing. Even their burgers are better than other places and I dunno how because they are the normal kebab shop burgers (which I love) just...better. Keep up the good work!

Argued the toss about sending out stone cold food and refused to refund our money.The "pretending" manager as he put it himself, when asked why the cold cheesy chips they'd sent with stone cold unmelted cheese on top wasn't melted, his reply was " we don't melt the cheese" .!! Both mine and my Mrs food was so cold.It really was the poorest take away food we've ever had. Do not use this absolute joke of a kebab shop. Absolutely dire food and absolutely dire resolutions. ! !

Not happy...ordered a chicken shish and chicken donner....8.30 on wk day....took the time to put the fresh chicken on the grill them served us 1 min later with old chicken and not the ones on the skewer..just 2 bits cut Into pieces that had been sat there for someone else...... And we walked in...8.30pm on a wk day....asked for chicken shish and chicken donner mix...put a chicken skewer on the burner....then served us 2 mins later....cut 3 pieces of old chicken in half ...cost £10, for this.....never again ....would post a picture but won't let me....

Only 2 stars not because the food wasn’t good, because it was lovely but because I ordered 2 x 12 inch margaritas with pineapple and neither came with pineapple! Paid (again) for something not received by (again) a takeaway from JustEat.

Sauces were amazing. Kebab was not good it was cut SO CHUNKY like slabs of meat :( Also the burger was all wet and soggy

It was curry wrap , rotten smell coming from Salad. It wasn't a good experience at all. The staff was rude as well maybe long hours.

Could not fault the taste but was very disappointed that it was nearly all scraps of meat. Like warm ups. The bits of chicken were like half matchsticks and the rest of the meat was in bits only 3 short pieces that looked like they were cut from the whole. Had before and no fault. Hopefully the next one will be as expected this time.

Curry sauce was horrible, not like any curry sauce I've had before had onions and chewy bits in it? and falafel was burnt. Garlic pizza bread and mozzarella sticks were nice.

Poor quality of food , if you can't deliver perfect food consistently throughout the night from start to finish, you're in the wrong trade ! Stale chips . No option for drinks ? The place has gone down hill probably new owners . Won't use again.

The difference between regular and extra large is minimal, you are best off ordering a regular and getting the same portion

Paid online £43 driver asked for cash, rang san kebab was told didn't pay even tho had receipt and bank statement to prove! Was on hold for 10 mins to then be told it's only just gone through?! We then said we want refund and not food but was told they've already made food so will come back? Then my male partner came on the phone and straight away refund was said to be given within 48 hours? Really disappointed
