Just had our first delivery of Fresh Pots. Safe to say it will not be our last. The family absolutely loved it. Food was still hot when delivered and was perfect portion size. The joy of not having to cook it and have it delivered within 30 mins is a gamechanger.

The meat baguette is unreal and totally worth the price it was stuffed and the lady who cooked it really knows her stuff I am definitely coming here again!

Ordered 2 large mixed meat received 2 small chicken.on receipt said £23 they took £27.phones to complain phone went dead twice.not helpful.wouldnt recommend eating here.terrible everything

Used to be really good but the size of the large is now the size of of the small pots, if you want a full meal, you'll need to order the extra large if you want to feel full, the picture is the entire contents of the new "large" size, so the cost means you may as well have made a full roast yourself instead of the new sizing, oh and it arrives cold. Used to love this, since the changes it's terrible. The pictures on here and on the website are no longer accurate. Not a fan of fraud. Oh and don't order the Yorkshire's they arrive as hoard s rocks. Enjoy your meal.

Swamped in gravy, perhaps the gravy should come in a separate pot. It tasted ok, but not sure about the quality of the veg etc (maybe I am just fussy).

I wouldn't call it fresh roast pots as the veg tastes like the ones in frozen bag but it isn't to bad here just a shame isn't fresh stuff as I'd come here alot more often .

Terrible wait times even when order for collection when go to pick up order i still waited over 25mins. The manager Syeda need to be sacked i can not believe how rude she is and the way she talks to delivery drivers and customers. Shouts from behind her counter if people say about the wait time tells them to stop moaning. I used to love roast pots but it has gone down hill and i will be taken my buisness else where.

Best food but ruined by the awful customer service. One member of staff has a serious attitude problem, was asked how long would be as told would be 10 mins but 25 mins later it's still not done and it was like it was our problem. When challenged on how she spoke to people she got angry and defensive. Worst person to have as front facing member of staff.

2 hour wait for a delivery. Food was very dry and was cold. Won’t be returning in the future as this is the second time this has happened, shame as we had been frequent customers. Certainly not worth the wait.

I have now ordered from Fresh Pots twice (first visit was a week ago) and I can honestly say the food is DELICIOUS 😋 I have had the Large Beef Pot both times, which has been hot and tasty and the perfect size for me. I would recommend anyone with a big appetite order's a larger pot. The meat was lean, the veg was fresh and the potatoes were crispy. And it all comes with yummy gravy. It is warm, filling, comfort food, which is exactly what I needed on my first visit last week. I ordered again on Monday and I'm now craving it again, so that's lunch tomorrow sorted!!!! I just can't believe it's taken me so long to try. I've missed out on years of pots 😫

Great roast! Was fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and would definitely recommend ordering or walking in to order a roast pot. Chose the second to biggest pot thinking it looked small. I was pleasantly surprised by how much food was inside on of these things. Extremely happy with the value to quality ratio.

Portion was small for price, taste food OK but very cold had to reheat.

Not sure what constitutes a large, mine was 700 ml which is only a bit bigger than a carton of soup. At14 pounds it’s seems a lot for what you get. It’s more like a stew than a roast as it’s all in one pot, gravy and all. It was very tasty but not enough food to be a roast dinner, I ate it all in minutes and then made myself a dessert to satisfy my appetite. Not really enough information about what you will get but lots of peas and potatoes but not much meat. Won’t order again.

Paid £51 for 2 roast pots and couple of extras. Wasn’t nice at all. Roast potatoes were cut up chips.

Edit: 1 Year later, still no apology, still no food, and still a complete and utter waste of space business, humans with no morals. Delivery driver needs shooting and wiping off the planet as they are just branding Customers as liar's whenever the order is wrong / not received as I can also see in other reviews beyond mine. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my whole life. The employees simply just aren't human I'm afraid, yet alone what is going into your food. Explained my experience to a lot of people and I hope the loss of business was worth it. Believe it or not I was very pleasant each time on the phone, unfortunately they take that for weakness. COMPLETE AND UTTER WASTE OF A SPACE. I’ve ordered from fresh numerous times over the last couple of years. Even though never satisfied I’ve kept going back as a roast is surprisingly hard to get delivered in my area but this is unfortunately my last order. The wait time is always between 1-2 hours, they don’t update deliveroo to say when the order is out for delivery so it’s a waiting game. Todays wait was 1 hour and a half. Very cold and had to be microwaved, as usual. The potatoes and veg are definitely frozen and meat is scarce. £4 for extra gravy too! I could buy a few years supply of my own bisto for that. I do NOT recommend anyone ordering from here. The food was awful. The meat and vegetables/potatoes (tasted exactly like frozen veg from a packet) were of very poor quality. I phoned to complain and was told that it is all freshly cooked and that they have never had any other complaints. Then I was told that I could get a refund from Just Eats, but if I do this, I was never allowed to order from them again (which I wouldn't anyway) The man who answered the telephone was dismissive and I felt he was rude. No apology given. I understand that the food has to be cut up small to fit into a very small container... so maybe use a different container that keeps the food at a decent , regular size and one that keeps the food warm! Worst Service I have ever experienced from any form of restaurant. My other half had placed the order through their website at 19:40 on 06/02/22 and left me at home whilst she picks her mum up from work. Order never turned up, perhaps they are busy and I didn't want to be too eager (it says 60 minutes wait when you place the order) Around 9PM I phoned twice to say we haven't received this order, but no answer. This is because they are now closed. I figured these thing's happen, I'll put a Pizza in the oven and phone back the next day, a lot of people I know eat here and they are not going anywhere. I phoned today at 12:38 on 07/02/22 and stated we hadn't received our order, and requested if we could please have it tonight. Lady on the other end was understanding and said she would need to investigate as the order is showing satisfied their end. Delivery driver had stated it was delivered at 115 Walmer Road, to someone with a red dressing gown on, and as such they will need to look into it a bit further. Sent them photos of my front door so they can check further with the driver, didn't hear back so I phoned again 4 hours later. They said my photo's confirm that the driver's photo is the same property, I asked for a copy of the photo, and it's definitely my property. Only I was the only one home, and I was sat in the front room right next to the front door, there is no possible way I would not have heard the door. As you can imagine I gave this further review, you can quite clearly see their driver's photo has one mistake. Yes it is the correct property. BUT IT'S NOT DARK IN THE SLIGHEST! Last night you could barely even see the pavement at gone 19:00 and their driver said they delivered it at 20:05 along with this photo across the street. It doesn't take a genius to work out they are lying - their driver is clearly shot to bits if they think it's possible to fool anyone by taking a photo of the property the next day to cover your tracks. I have had several orders from this place, but it's just sad that the consumer will need to claim money back through their bank, as appose to a replacement product OR a graceful refund... As you can see, I sent them several photos, and there is no sign of it being night time at all in their delivery drivers photo, If they solve this within a matter of days, I will update my review accordingly, but judging by what I have so far - they don't care.

All of the veg was frozen not fresh and had about 2 pieces of meat that weren't fat, cost nearly a tenner for something that poured like vomit onto a plate

The meat was nice, as were the vegetables. However, the roast potatoes were not cooked well and were soggy and tasteless. They reminded me of tinned potatoes. I appreciate it can be hard with a pot, but perhaps another pot or putting them on top could help? Other than that it was good

It was awful weather as we just got back from a 5hr drive. Didn't fancy cooking but really didn't wanna go out. We all fancied a roast and came across this on just eat. It arrived piping hot, delicious chicken and beef and the whole experience left us asking why on earth we had not ordered from them before!! Top quality spuds, vegs, stuffing, Yorkshires and cauliflower cheese. Will definitely be using again as the food was banging, the price was right and we had only are clear plates to wash up!

First time using this restaurant/delivery service. Not disappointed, was absolutely scrumptious! We had beef and chicken lunch. With side of cauliflower cheese. Will definitely use again. Great idea!

What an absolute load of rubbish! Cauliflower cheese is just milk and butter not seen a bit of cheese in its life! The veg is the same as what you get in a bag of mixed frozen veg from asda! The gravy is as cheap as they can find it's all mixed together and not how they make it look on a plate if i could give no stars I would. Clearly people haven't eaten a decent roast in their life if they like this place £40 quid in the bin absolute joke!

Couldn't even begin to tell you how nice the food is from here! Honestly you won't be disappointed and it's good value for money.

Really tasty, generous portions. Prices comparable to many pubs, but better quality than most of them (pub roasts vary from bland to epic though). Have had the gammon, beef and lamb roasts - all excellent. Much easier than making your own roasts. Whoever started this company should be commended. However, they really do need to improve their Yorkshire puddings. Two cheap and rubbery Aunt Bessie's Yorkies for £2 is extortionate, they should start doing home made ones (which aren't that difficult!). But, not enough to knock a star off.

I have to say that I'm absolutely delighted to have been introduced to fresh roast pots. The first indication of their quality was the call back to re-confirm my order. Truly great food. It's so nice to be able to tuck into traditional english fare. My group were all absolutely delighted with their hot pot. And the puddings were well received too. We'll definitely be going back for more wholesome food.

A roast dinner?! Well I received a pot filled with cheap meat, frozen veg, small chunks of potatoes and gravy! Not separate pots like in the picture. My daughter described it as a stew! Just tasted cheap too! Would recommend you go somewhere else

Tried Fresh Roast Pots for the first time during the first lockdown. Have been every week since.. Sometimes up to 3 times a week. Their breakfast is great too. You will become a regular once you have tried it for the first time.

Ordered two large roast pots today , one Turkey and one mixed. I requested that the green beans and stuffing be removed on the Turkey one. They arrived hot and within 30 minutes. But.... Both were just BEEF and both contained green beans! Not what I ordered. The beef was tough, fatty and nasty veins in it, mostly inedible. I paid extra for mixed. Given that the large is already very small, by the time we picked out the green beans and beef from one of them and the beef from mine, it didn't leave much to be enjoyed. Tried to call back, but phone line engaged as it is now their busy time. Very disappointed.

Never had a problem before... The guy in the phone sounded stoned and got my order wrong. I asked for an extra large and receive a so called large, which looked far too small to be called that. Half asleep guy taking the orders and reduced size. Food did taste good though.

Never had a problem with roast pots before. Ordered a small which is what I've always ordered, and the size has shrunk so much. I'm really disappointed. It's more like a child's size now.

we ordered the mixed meat and nutroast large pots today as we were hungover and decided to order in. the large pots were large, the food arrived hot and it all comes in a pot cut up ready to eat so you can just eat your roast sat on the sofa. From order to front door was 1 hour perfect, really enjoyed and fixed me good. we would recommend and will order again. thankyou.

Ordered a couple of these roast pots which are delivered in polystyrene pots together with wooden cutlery so you can eat them straight from the pot. I ordered the XXlarge mixed meat pot roast and my Wife ordered the vegetarian order. I’ve added a photograph of the XXL alongside a can of Coke for size comparison purposes. It’s about the height of a large beer can and about one and a half times as wide. I’d been fancying a nice roast for a few days and when we got a 50% offer from Uber Eats I thought I’d take advantage of it and order a fresh pot roast for us. Let’s start with the contents which is in both of them. Small diced roast potatoes, carrots, runner beans, onion and stuffing with gravy. In the vegetarian pot you get a few pieces of rosemary and sage sausage and in the mixed meat pot you get a few very small slices of thinly cut meats. All of vegetables tasted as if they were cooked from frozen. The meat tasted very dry, but the vegetarian sausage had a nice flavour. If you want anything extra such as Yorkshire Pudding, Cauliflower cheese, extra potatoes, vegetables or meat you’re looking at buying extra pots. The XXL meal portion sizes are adequate but only just. It felt like half my pot was filled with sliced carrots. I think they’re very stingy with both the tiny cubes of roast potatoes, the small slivers of meat and the vegetarian sausage. The gravy is nice, but they smothered both mine and my Wife’s pots in gravy even though we only asked for extra gravy for my meat pot. The flavours were ok, but my Wife felt disappointed, as she was looking to proper roast potatoes and more varied contents When I’d eaten all of mine there was a hair stuck in the gravy at the bottom of meal. I know it wasn’t mine. I’m not easily phased, but, It completely put my Wife off of her meal. If I was to compare the meal with a normal Carvery, I’d find it to be much smaller and overpriced for both the contents and portion size. We probably won’t be ordering again.

Was really excited to try Fresh Roast Pots, Easter Sunday, glorious sunshine we didn't want to be stuck in the kitchen but it wouldn't be the same without a Roast. Our first order from Fresh Roast Pots and we were both really happy. We had: Extra Large Lamb pot, small mixed pot, Cauliflower cheese (amazing), stuffing and Chocolate brownies with ice cream (with mini eggs especially for Easter). Would highly recommend and will be trying their breakfasts soon. Also really appreciated that there was no plastic packaging! Thank you

Usually a really good meal with prompt service but tonight only three quarters of our order turned up so we had to order another meal somewhere else...with an obvious wait. The worst though was finding gammon in the vegan meal. This should never happen. Poor effort and of course because we had a late order there was no one on the end of the phone to rectify everything or apologize. That said we shall still enjoy their meals until another mistake is made. As I said...usually really good and very tasty

Had this place a couple of times and the potatoes aren’t full size potatoes. They are small frozen potato cubes Fried. The products taste cheap. Shame, amazing store with good staff.

I was not optimistic about a roast being stuffed in a pot... I was completely wrong, All tasted lovely. I had the XLarge which was huge once put on a plate, loads of meat as well as it being tender. The little cube spuds still crispy even in the gravy. We ordered pudding also, the coffee and walnut cake was perfect and could not fault it. Absolutely recommend! Fast delivery too, was estimated an hour from order it arrived about half hour of ordering. Will be using again on a lazy Sunday.

Very expensive for what you get

Just finished my first ever Fresh Roast Pot, and I am sat here completely full, and completely satisfied. It couldn’t have been any better. It arrived at the perfect ready-to-eat temperature, everything was cooked to perfection. I went for the pork pot, with 4 Yorkshire’s on the side. It easily rivals any well cooked home roast, or any carvery. The pork was outstanding. When ordering, I made the mistake of clicking collection, and soon after got a notification telling me my order is ready to collect. I didn’t realise what I’d done til then. I called the branch, and the nice lady allowed for me to switch that to a delivery with no problems. This was recommended to me by both my best mates, who order from there regularly, I can see why. One of the best takeaway options there is. Try it.

Might be good food but their delivery service is poor. Some delivery guy just turned up on our doorstep and handed over food we didn't order and buggered off!! No name or anything! Some poor sod is going hungry for their supper tonight! Hope it wasn't some poor hard up student!!

Would have hoped for a better standard. Didn't want to finish it as it tastes like it was all made in the microwave. I did hear a microwave being used but couldn't see what went in it! Yorkshire puddings are not included in the price of a roast you have to pay for them so altogether for a roast, two little Yorkshire puddings and a milkshake it came to £14 something. Price tag would be ok if it tasted really nice..if you like microwave meals then this place is for you!

Fresh and lovely and ENGLISH .fresh pots are do yummy brought to your door .hot and always within 45 min. it's easy yummy and no washing up .what's not to like ..fresh pots are yummy.
