Excellent restaurant/bar . Really loved an evening there. Staff were very attentive. Sangria was fabulous and the food was fabulous . Would not hesitate to Return when next visiting London.

Booked a table for a Saturday night, and well recommended. Very busy location, great service by the same waitress (which all evening is great) and ordered two selection’s each plus olives between four of us. Great portions which were tasty and eaten by all. You won’t leave this establishment full but you will have eaten enough good food. Well worth a second booked visit

Exactly the same experience as previous respondent. Booked online. Arrived to find we were the only people in the restaurant and bizarrely were directed all the way through to a table right at the back of the restaurant. Enquired about the Meerkat meals offer we had and how it worked. Were told that they didn't accept it any more even though we had booked just that afternoon. Rather strangely the offer that was on the card on the table in front of us was no longer being offered either and the staff removed it when we enquired. Fortunately we asked in advance which avoided any unfortunate situations later. We left to eat elsewhere.Really disappointed in all aspects of this as it was a chance to try a different restaurant.

I booked this restaurant after a bit of research as we were going to the theatre. I noted that it appeared on Meerkat meals and was part of a 2 for 1 deal on ala carte meals.It was booked online stating we were going to claim the Meerkat deal and we received a confirmation email. On arrival at the venue which was completely empty I gave my name and was immediately informed that they no longer partake in Meerkat promotions.I don't know why they did not inform me of this when booking as this would have saved a lot of time travelling to the venue, In view of this we decided to eat elsewhere and they lost out on our custom that evening. Considering that the place was empty I would have thought they they would have been grateful of any business. It is a shame because the premises looked very inviting and we were really looking forward to the experience,

Pre theatre visit meant early enough to hit happy hour. Cocktails delicious, food mostly fantastic, service excellent, thank you Byron, great atmosphere. Altogether well worth a visit, or two.

We went on a Tuesday night for the £40 date night deal which was a jug of sangria, 4 tapas and churros to share. Staff seemed unaware of the deal and we had to remind them a couple of times about it. The girl server was more on the ball than the male. Food was great, one tapas was different from what we ordered but all very nice and authentic and a very good price for an evening out in London. Atmosphere was great. Flamenco show was superb. Definitely worth a visit.

Came here in a Monday where you get 50% off your total bill.Drinks and food were lovely.Partner ordered the cheese and cold meats selection and was given cheese and breadsticks so we had to question that. Everything was fine up till then.The came time for the bill. Firstly my partner hadn't realised the cheese and meats cost £14 as all the other tapas on the menu were around £7, so he asked if that was correct and told it was. We asked for the service charge to be removed as:1. It annoys me when resturants put a service charge automatically on your bill, especially for only 2 people. I understand for groups. 2. Its discretionary, maybe inform your staff that as the strop from the server when asked for it to be removed was a joke. 3. 12.5% is above the normal 10% (though it seems London has started taking the rip and putting 12.5% everywhere. 4. We prefer to tip in cash and had the cash ready for a 10% tip. The server returned with a new bill minus the service charge. My partner asked if he could just check the menu again to check the £14 price for the meats and cheese was correct. The waiter stormed off and returned, thrusting the menu in my parnters face. The price was correct and my partner apologied to the waiter and told him it was his own mistake. The waiter said nothing other than pushing the card machine forward, made no eye contact, said absolutely nothing and stormed off. Pathetic little huff. For his crappy sad attitude the 10% tip went straight back into my purse. Sort out your lousy staff.

Visited with my partner as part of their groupon date night package. 1 litre of Sangria, 4 tapas and 1 churros for 20 odd pounds. Sangria was very smooth, Tapas was very good and authentic Spanish. Not British interpretation masquerading as Spanish which sadly many in the UK are. I highly recommend the Croquettes and the Chorizo lollipops. Even our waiter was from Navarre. I will definitely visit again.

No children allowed. Apparently no same day bookings allowed either. I somehow managed to book for the same day on the phone, and told the office it was for a family of 4 with 2 children. We were turned away after walking 30 minutes to get there. Badly managed booking. The office absolutely should have said!

Went as part of a hen do. Initially it looked fab inside, great atmosphere. We weren’t served for 30 minutes, starters lovely, main - AWFUL everyone felt the same, it was a bowl of potatoes, couple of bits of chorizo and an overdone egg (super dry), the drink choices for bottomless brunch seemed great but not much alcohol in the sangria and the prosecco was disgusting. The service was honestly horrific, staff were rude especially the manager. Please don’t go here, go elsewhere!!

You automatically Pay 12.5% on top of your bill for service, yet the service is terrible, so it’s more like 12.5% is being stolen from you . We ordered bread with our tapas. It was supposed to come with the food but we had to ask 2 more times , I had to get up and go ask for it , we’d nearly finished the meal by then. The sangria is £12 per jug. There is no alcohol in the sangria , it’s fruit juice with lemonade . I never had sangria in Spain like that … so I’ve been charged £12 for children’s fruit juice. When we asked the waiter about the sangria he just laughed at us . Atmosphere great Food is nice Service and sangria is We really liked it there , it could have been fantastic if and sangria was as nice as the food .

Visited Saturday as part of a hen night out, booked ahead so we were expected. Service was slow even though there appeared to be a lot of staff around, and a lot of empty tables. We had intended to stay for dinner however gave up after 2 cocktails and went on elsewhere.

Paella was amazing highly recommend this place. House red is also very nice only £11 on happy hour!! Cannot argue with the value

We were a group of 10, and they set up a special booth in the middle of the restaurant for us, which provided some privacy and Covid-19 distance. The food is mostly tapas, and 4-5 tapas are plenty for a couple of people. If you get there before 7pm, you get discount on the Sangria which was really good. Get the salted Alemandres. They will add to any dish you eat. There are enough vegetarian option such as grilled vegetables, salad, fried cheese, and more.

Wax was a great seciurity person nice and polite, also as the place great service we are happy to be served Simona which one serve us all night with a beautyful smile, highlty recomand place.

Beautiful food, lovely music and vibe. Claudia was our waitress and she was beautiful, so helpful and accommodating. Wax was the security and he made us feel so at home it was just a lovely experience. These people deserve a promotion because they know what hospitality is all about x

I’m not a huge fan of leaving negative reviews - especially at the minute when I know businesses have it hard! However I hope that somebody at Salvador and Amanda reads this just so they can possibly make some internal improvements!Myself and two friends booked a table here for 2 hours for drinks last night. It is my friend’s wedding in October and we were here doing some shopping for the big day.We booked in at 8.30pm - admittedly we were 5 mins late because our meal booking overran (I did try and call to let them know but didn’t get through)We were sat down and a guy took our drink order. We then waited 45 minutes for the drinks - it was only 3 basic cocktails. One of the drinks was a Pina Colada and was un-drinkable as the coconut milk had curdled.We were then left for a further 45 minutes - so just before our two hours were up we’d had two average drinks and one awful one. We had to get up and get somebody’s attention although it was table service. Asked for the bill and explained the situation - I’m not sure if the gentleman serving didn’t quite understand me but he said ‘and what?’ I can see this place had great reviews pre pandemic (hence me booking) so I have no doubt they can return to that! But what I saw last night was a poorly managed, understaffed and over booked bar. It wasn’t just us - the table next to us gained a couple more to their party and we heard them say ‘the service here is shocking so order as soon as you can’I know COVID has had an impact - but we visited three other bars yesterday in Covent Garden and they were brilliant - ran like clockwork!I wish them all the best in getting back to their normal levels of service

This was such a great find. Have visited a number of times now, and the shine has not worn off. The food is great - ribs are a personal favorite - is so well priced. Love the decor, such a great feel.

Pasé una velada realmente encantadora aquí para mi cumpleaños. El árbol de cócteles era increíble y me encantó la comida y la sangría. El servicio era bueno y me dieron una oportunidad gratis para mi cumpleaños. Lo único malo fue. . . cuando le hicimos una pregunta a uno de los camareros, su respuesta fue 'No hablo contigo'. Muy extraño. Aparte de eso, disfrutamos de nuestra noche aquí y lo recomendaríamos.

Pasé una noche de tapas con mi esposo aquí esta semana y quedé muy impresionado con la calidad y el tamaño de las porciones. El marisco era especialmente bueno, al igual que las patatas bravas. También recomendaría ir antes de las 7 pm ya que hay una hora feliz, tenía algunos mojitos y sangría realmente buenos. Personal amable y ambiente encantador, ¡volveremos!

Great value with the Groupon deal and happy hour drinks, tapas limited choices but tasty enough, found the food lukewarm though. Mentioned this to the waitress and was advised this is how tapas us served, not in my experience it's not.

Booked a table with 2 tapas and unlimited cava or sangria. Tapas selection extremely limited. No cava available only Prosecco. The whole place is in need of a refurbishment our seats were held together with black gaffer tape.

La comida estuvo estupenda. Pedimos entre 6 y 7 tapas para 3 personas. Buena oferta con Eat Out to Help Out y Happy Hour. Uno de los camareros nos sirvió genial, enérgico y nos hizo sentir bienvenidos. La comida y la bebida eran buenas y pedimos la cantidad justa.Nos sentamos en una mesa en la esquina, que era un buen lugar ya que no estábamos demasiado cerca de nadie más, pero aún así teníamos un buen ambiente. The place was full of people, really lively atmosphere and very welcoming and attentive staff. Food is fairly good although some of the tapas were quite small. The venue is nicely decorated and comfortable. I will definitely be back

I’ve been there several times and every time I really enjoyed. Very effective staff , nice music ( comercial) but the only thing that’s not professional is the attitude of the girl selling shots during the night who had an inappropriate approach with my partner more than once. The last time , for example, she tried to charge him for 3 instead of 2 shots and when we asked her why she answered “one is for me” insisting to him to pay for it. I thing that’s a very rude and unprofessional attitude.

This place has a great atmosphere, staff really friendly and welcoming. Good music. Will definitely go back for longer next time.

Turned up for happy hour on spec. Good priced drinks and food (tapas) from 5-7pm. Food fresh and served quickly. Friendly and helpful staff.

Was there for a friends birthday so we were fortunate to have a private area with seats. Sampled some bar snacks, tortilla, bruschetta, mozzarella sticks and chips all edible but nothing special. Bar gets more lively as the evening goes on and around 10.30 the music was good old dance music.

Really good food and amazing experience last Wednesday. Thank you to Michele, Ina and Claudia who looked after our table whilst the entertaining flamenco show as on. I want to come back and try more dishes! Omar

We booked in advance for 5 of us to celebrate a 21st Birthday and were informed that this would be a 2 hour sitting which was ok. We had 1 vegetarian and 1 pescatarian in the group and the menu had something for everyone. The servers were and polite and efficient but i wouldn't say personal or friendly.The food was delicious and i can highly recommend the chorizo lollipops! The Flamenco was on but we couldn't see from our table which didn't matter too much as the company was good. It's a lovely venue with a cosy interior in the heart of London. It was a tasty meal at average cost for central London. I would return in future but probably wouldn't book for a special occasion again.

My girlfriend and I came here last night for our Valentine's Day meal and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, we had the set menu and there was plenty of choice! What made our night though was one of the waiters, Ali, with his amazing warmth and attentiveness. Each couple were give a rose during their meal, but before we left, he brought over 3 more for us to take with us, which put a real smile on the missus' face! He told us that this was because of the way we treated him, and that we were one of his favourite couples of the night, which was extremely lovely of him. We even tried to tip him at the end of the meal, but he refused to take it and simply said that if you treat him well, he'll treat you better! Highly recommended this authentic and adventurous spot and if Ali serves you, make sure shoot him a smile!

Down in an atmospheric basement near Leicester Square - almost like a little piece of Spain in the West End! Very nice tapas, lovely atmosphere, but a bit on the pricey side.

We visited this restaurant just as it opened on a Wednesday evening at 5pm and were immediately taken to our seat. Luckily we had a Gourmet Society card which entitled us to 50% off the food bill, so we asked what was not included in the offer. Again we were lucky that only 3 or 4 items weren't in the offer so we had 4 tapas each along with a dessert. Staff were pleasant, food was nice and we were back out the door by 6.15.

It can be difficult finding a restaurant this near to Christmas that isn't running some form of expensive set menu Xmas Party type of thing, but this place seemed to fit the bill for our party of 7 for an early-ish evening meal (6:15). The food was great, the service awesome (thanks SO MUCH for looking after us so well Ali) and the bill reasonable. £300 for 7 people for starter platters, cocktails (2 for 1 before 7pm!) and a few jugs of sangria on top of the probably 18 or so tapas plates plus a couple of puds and coffees in the centre of London seemed VERY good value to me. Heartily recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return.

My son booked a table for this restaurant, it was her 21st irthday, they got there and were put in a table where they couldn’t see anything, a few of the front tables were empty, they ate and my son asked if they could move as it was a special occasion, manager said NO, , his excise was that the tables were booked, well they ate and those BOOKED tables were still empty, another couple arrived and were put at the back, when the other gentleman asked to be moved , manager obliged immediately.

Lovely little restaurant/ bar off the main strip of Leicester Square. Lovely decor and friendly staff! We only came in for drinks before meeting more friends and was pleased with the happy hour running on a Saturday. Carafe of sangria for £13 and two cosmos for £12.50 was great! Atmosphere was just right on an early Saturday eve and will definitely return again to try their tapas.

Locale spagnolo molto commerciale a Covent Garden. Molto caotico e rumoroso. Si può mangiare ma anche solo stuzzicare qualcosa. Offre specialità e vini spagnoli, e ovviamente tapas. Qualità del cibo medio/bassa, servizio poco attento. Se volete trascorrere una serata tranquilla all’insegna di atmosfere gitane, non fa per voi.

Le pregunté al anfitrión que se ocupó de las reservas si podíamos irnos y retrasar nuestra reserva a 8. 45 y no hubo ningún problema (fue un viernes por la noche muy ocupado). Muy bien hecho por la bienvenida y el atento personal. La comida era excelentes tapas con mis favoritos (croquetas y aslo Patas Bravas muy bueno. Sí, no era barato, pero por supuesto es justo en la tierra del teatro del West End. Feliz con nuestra experiencia allí y lo recomendaría.

My partner and I visited on a weekday it was practically empty, service was ok, polite but not friendly.

I came here for my birthday dinner with my Lerner. Gorgeous tapas, great ambience and hugely attentive staff. We ordered a jug of red wine sangria between us (an additional glass of coke), battered chorizo, bruschetta, pastas braves with aioli and rich tomato sauce and a cheese and meats bored. For 4 tapas, the sangria and a small drink - altogether for 2, in central London, came to just over £50! Amazing price! We estimated at least £20 over that price.

Visited here on a Thursday evening and had the ore theatre menu - a set starter, 2 choices of tapas dishes each and a trio of deserts. Could not fault it. Amazing value. Fab, attentive staff. Will definitely be back nit not fault it,

A get together with colleagues - not been before - but we know TAPA and was looking forward to the experience

I made a booking in advance and there was a mix-up in that they had made my booking at the other location (Bloomsbury) without me realising. However the manager was helpful in transferring my booking (including the pre-paid package I had bought) to the Covent Garden location. I think they may have been short-staffed as the service was a little slow and the staff not overly attentive. The birthday drinks package was not the highest quality however for central London the value was good. There was a nice lively atmostphere and I would come back here again.

Went here for lunch pre-theatre. The food is lovely and fresh with a good selection. Cocktails were also very tasty. For an out-of-towner, the prices were a little high but not unexpected or unreasonable. Service was attentive but not pushy. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best Tapas around . Really well priced, great venue and atmosphere. Most importantly food was great and service excellent. Will definitely visit again. Forget your chained venues and spending money on posh venues. This is a great gem of a place to visit

This place is a gem. Hidden in the inner streets of covent garden, we accidentally found it and the experience was amazing. The drrinks were fairly priced, ample dancing area, good crowd and mind-blowing music. Although less English songs but all the spanish one's were good. Nice and supportive staff. Overall, a good place to visit on the weekend. Go for it.

This was the first time myself and my boyfriend have visited Salvador’s and we really, really enjoyed it.

Thank you for booking your venue for my birthday party. Everyone loved it specially me. The floor staff and manager he's amazing can't fault anything... my newest favourite venue! I didn't except the large turnout there must have been 50-80 party guests and the dj was a great asset to the night as well.

El ambiente, las bebidas y la música fue espectacular! ! ! ! Pero la comida era muy normal! ¡y salió demasiado rápido y no hacía calor! ¡El personal era amable y servicial! definitivamente vale la pena una visita si estás en la zona. ! !

Reservamos previamente con nuestra Tarjeta Gourmet. El restaurante es bastante grande, muy ruidoso debido a la música y la cantidad de clientes, pero es un ambiente agradable. La decoración es encantadora, todo de madera y follaje (aunque podría haber prescindido de todas las referencias taurinas). Nuestros servidores fueron brillantes, muy serviciales y alegres, el servicio fue eficiente pero nunca se apresuró. Comenzamos con una copa de cava, luego entre los dos tuvimos 6 platos de tapas y todos estaban deliciosos, las porciones eran decentes pero no dejamos una miga. Intentamos pedir platos de tapas tradicionales, así que fuimos por tortillas, croquetas, 2 platos de chorizo diferentes, pimientos rellenos y albóndigas. De hecho, incluso exprimimos un postre y podemos recomendar la tarta de queso con caramelo salado y la tarta de chocolate y naranja. Estamos de regreso en Londres en enero y tenemos la intención de regresar para otra deliciosa comida.

We ate here last night from their pre-theatre menu. The meal was included in a theatre package so we didn’t have much choice of restaurant.

My fiancée made a reservation for Salvador and Amanda today at the Covent Garden branch before going to the cinema. After having looked on the website I was very excited about dinner and the flamenco show on offer.

It's difficult to find spanish restaurant with reasonable priced tapas and good portions in London and this restaurant is offering this. Apart from the nice and warming place the food was good I will recommend to visit.

Friendly staff. Took order quickly and food came out quickly too. Meatballs, chicken wings, and chicken strips were all very tasty! Great place for small bites. Would highly recommend!

We had dinner and drinks at this restaurant. The food was exceptional. The drinks are quite nice. The service is super fast and super friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place and would go back again.

Wonderful food and drinks. What really made our visit special was our waiter, Aitor. He was exceptionally attentive, helpful and friendly. This made our anniversary meal that much more special, we will definitely be returning. Thank you Aitor!

After some Tripadvisor research we settled on Salvador and Amanda. What a great choice! The service was fantastic, it was just my husband and I. The first table we were taken too was in a busy area, we were looking for something a little quieter. It was no trouble to find us somewhere more suitable. The wine was reasonably priced and very tasty, Food was delicious, in fact so much so we ended up ordering a bit more! Convenient for Covent Garden and very close to Leicester Square tube. Would definitely recommend.

My second visit to this wonderful gem of a restaurant. The general ambience is great. The staff were amazing, Aitor was so friendly and helpful. The food was fabulous. We were lucky it was happy hour for the while evening. Now looking for a reason to travel into London so I can go back.

Fantastic service from A&S;! I booked a table for Valentine’s day, which happened to be a live flamenco night. I asked if the table could have a view of the stage, and the staff said that that would be no problem.

This restaurant right on Leicester Square serves great tapas in a decor modeled around Salvador Dali. Nice for a full dinner or an after theatre snack.

We had just returned from a great trip to Barcelona/Madrid and thought we would give this place a try to extend the holiday a little - the place itself is like the Tardis - small doorway with stairs leading down to a surprisingly large space. The lady that showed us to our table was lovely, the waitress and other staff were very polite and extremely helpful and the food was amazing - we went for the set menu which was great value at just £13. The menu has a good selection with something for everyone. We were there during "happy hour" and drinks were very well priced and delicious - equal to if not better than some of the food we had eaten in Spain the week before - extremely authentic - would highly recommend that you book - we went on a Saturday and it was very busy.

We kicked off our evening of dinner and a play in Covent Garden at Salvador and Amanda, and it was a great starter for a fun evening with friends.

Came here for a meal with friends for my birthday and everything was fantastic. The food was quick and delicious and our waiter, Bryan, was lovely, friendly and attentive. He made our night great and organised for a candle in my dessert and sang happy birthday.

The atmosphere here is great, loved the food and drinks on offer and happy hour is a great deal. Bryan was such a delight, and had us laughing the whole time!

This is the first time I've ever eaten here, after being recommended it by a Taste card holder friend. There was live flamenco music on which was a lovely fun atmosphere and our server, Bryan, really encouraged us to try as many dishes as possible. I highly recommend the padron peppers and chorizo, but we tried lots of delicious dishes. The churros were also amazing. Thank you Bryan for all your help choosing such an array of tapas delights :)

Good food and very nice location.

Following an afternoon theatre trip we were looking for somewhere close the our hotel for dinner.

Great place with an amazing happy hour that runs from 5pm - 9pm I think. There’s a quite a good choice on the happy hour menu which I found impressive from cocktails to beer and sangria!

Booked a flamenco and tapas evening here and it certainly didn't disappoint! Super venue, lovely varied tapas and enjoyable flamenco show. Also the staff were very accommodating and attentive.

Really busy Saturday night, sat next to a large & lively hen party. Friendly staff, good food, reasonable prices for central London.

A great atmosphere and fantastic service from Bryan. Highly recommend for groups looking for a fun evening. Note that restaurant transitions to bar/club by 10/11pm.

Don’t let the outside put you off. We had booked having selected it online and I wondered what type of place I had chosen. The reception is just through the door and then steps immediately take you down below ground. It opens out into an interesting very Spanish/South American venue.

We went into this restaurant during evening thanks to the hostess that gave us amazing tips about the tapas that they were serving downstairs.
