Great spot, went here after the marathon this year, would highly recommend for the sports ⚽️. Definitely will come back!

Our first visit, (my son now lives in New Brunswick so it had to be done) a fantastic warm, friendly welcome from Cat (well she is Canadian, so it comes natural). Serving my favourite Canadian beers and a poutine that was genuine and very reasonably priced for London. We will be back....many times!! It's a shame it wasn't Canadian sport instead of soccer on the multiple big screen TVs but I understand they have to play for the customers, other than that, authentic Canadian ambiance, 5 out of 5 !!

What an incredible spot! Friendliest staff we’ve found in any pub in London, incredible beer selection, great food and awesome vibes all around. TVs everywhere, hell of a place to watch sport!

Was good but not as good as what you get in Canada

Food was fantastic, great taste, and hot plates out of the kitchen. Servers didn't tell us there was no coleslaw thought, and then promised us onion rings that weren't delivered. My burger came with the jalapeño ranch when asked for without. And there's no accessibility toilet.

Typical pub fayre. Book a table if you want to watch a football match. Still haven't tried the poutine..... 1600 cals for a burger and Fries. Very good though.

Classic poutine and a Diet Coke for a tenner. Food comes really quick and they were happy to make the cheese more melted for me. Great quick lunchtime spot ! Will be back for sure. Thanks so much!!!

I was so happy to finally find a poutine place in Europe, because it’s absolutely delicious. Such a tasty comfort food, that goes perfect with their beer selection, both tap and bottled. The place takes you back to Canada and I would go back for sure to try a new poutine dish

I discovered this place in 2018 and been a regular ever since! First of all, the people are so friendly - I can’t even recall how many great people I’ve met. People I met here by chance and we ended up clubbing until late, people I met by chance and gifted me a night I’ll never forget (🥰) , people that just brightened up my day with a friendly chat. Second, the beer and the Caesars are GREAT! (Honey Brown lager is my favourite, can’t get enough of it!). On my last few visits, I had food too and the fish and chips was delicious! (Not your usual greasy mess on a bed of chips, but a “normal size” tasty dish). On sports days - Rugby, Football, no matter what - the vibes here are just incredible. People feel it. And when I come here, my team always plays well - call it my lucky pub! This place is truly special, a true gem 💎 I’m not Canadian (I love Caesars, maple syrup and Simple Plan is my favourite band though!!), but by now I became a bit Canadian inside too! 🇨🇦 I love you guys!! It’s a Sports bar but they don’t turn on the sound on the TVs! Very bizarre Means there’s zero atmosphere for any big matches. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to watch a match

Haven't been in there for couple of years but service is as good as ever. Met a loverly barman who was very polite and engaged in conversation with me and my friend. Definitely recommend Mapelleaf to my friends. .

This was the second time I have been. My partner is Canadian so whenever we go to the Big smoke a visit to the Maple leaf is mandatory. The food is so good and to get to wash it down with a pint of Sleeman adds to the occasion. Love the decor and the atmosphere. The only problem I have is there isn't one closer to where I live. Who knows maybe they'll expand to the South Coast one day and more people can enjoy their hospitality and great tasting food and beverages.

This is by far my favourite bar in London. Great atmosphere with a great selection of Canadian beers. Can’t wait to come back 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Really good service and really good food

We booked a table for lunch before a show, we arrived at the pub and was on a tight schedule and they said the kitchen was out of order so they aren’t doing food. They could have cancelled our table via the booking system and let us know. Very inconvenient.

Called in for beer and food. Seenthe pkace many times and always fancied dropping in. Great greeting from bar staff, friendly and helpful with guidance on thier beer offerings. We found a table and started looking through food menu, after 5 mins barmen comes over and appologises, the table we've sat at is reserved. As we could see there were other tables and we were just 2 sat at a large table so that wasnt an issue and we said so. I was already on my feet with beer and coat in hand about to move when doorman came over, aggressively said its a reserved table and started trying to find the reserved notice he seemed to think wed hidden behind menus (it wasnt there, they had failed to put it out) he remained aggressive and confrontational, while the barmen continued to appologise for the mistake (& possibly the doorman). Doorman continued to be pushy/rude while he "escorted" us to new table. I worked 15 yrs on the doors, this guy is a terrible man to work doors, his attitude could easily have started trouble, total liability We opted to drink up and go elsewhere to eat. Sorry Maple leaf wont be back, purely due to that one man.

Went here with a mate from Canada. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Loved the atmosphere and the decor was spot on for a hockey fan. Drinks on offer were great and the poutine tasted delicious. Will definitively be returning and recommend to anyone wanting to try something bit different.

great bar, but expensive for a pint. £7 is a lot for a lager you’ve not heard of before! Food is quick and slaps

Probably hyped it up in my head too much. The Poutine was ok but the peppercorn sauce didn't have a lot of flavour. My friend's Panini was incorrect and had to be redone and seemed a bit small and lacking in halloumi. Prices were ok and everything was clean but when the football came on that was our cue to leave. Prob better for a drink than food but the staff were friendly.

Refused to play live sound for Nottingham Forest v Arsenal despite it being the only London based team televised on the evening. So had to listen with background music because Aston Villa vs Newcastle was going to be played at a similar time. We swiftly moved to the White Swan round the corner as they had live sound on, while the Villa v Newcastle game was in silence.

Nice little pub out of the way in the corner. Nice and friendly atmosphere and staff.

I visited a few days ago and unfortunately they didn’t have any poutine left, but was made aware by the lovely staff there who were very apologetic about it. I came back and wasn’t disappointed, food was lovely, staff was incredible and I will definitely come back! The decor also makes it different than any other pubs in town. It will probably be my new place to go to in central London.

Staff were really friendly. Good vibe and reasonable for the heart of Covent Garden. Went for Poutine though and was disappointed. Most other food coming out looked better but it seems to Pride itself on Poutine

Came here for the Winter Classic and wasn’t disappointed. Had a lot of fun with fellow Hockey fans. Feeling a little shady today due to all the Fireball shots though. Do yourself a favour and visit this little home away from home.

I go every year on New Year’s Day for the winter classic game and the staff and food never disappoint me. Been other times like Canada day and it never disappoints. Must check this place out especially for the memorabilia on the walls

Decent food at reasonable prices but it’s NOT a sports bar for English sports fans. ‘This is a Canadian bar, ice hockey before football at this end of the bar’. The manager has no customer rapport at all.

After waiting 20 minutes to have a table, we seated and the barman told me the kitchen was closed.

No children at 4pm on Sunday despite the website saying family friendly. Security instantly refused us at the door and were also rude and condescending. Please update your website to reflect your imposed rules.

Love this place food is good and the place has a bone

Cool place. Very warm inside on a cold evening, lots of screens playing American and Canadian sport. Had an ok vodka lime and soda, reasonably priced for the area. Good chilled place to hang out with friends, large Poutine selection on the menu(I didn't eat anything)

Great pub, I've been going for over 30 years

Very good atmosphere in a nicely decorated pub. Nice selection of beers but I have to say the food is very deceptive. As a Canadian pub I was waiting a bit more on the food especially the poutine. The poutine portion is very small and there is not enough cheese. The fries are not the best as well.

Poutine tasted good but was drowning in gravy. Could have ordered a side of fries with it to double the size of the poutine. As a Canadian visiting, there was almost nothing about it that felt like a Canadian put besides having Molson and poutine.

I've been coming here for 20+ years and it's sadly getting worse. I visited recently mid-afternoon on a Thursday. A Canadian pub with no hockey on at least a couple of it's many screens is just bizarre! When I asked the barman he said that "none is on" Well c3pm UK is 10am ET so obviously none will be on! Historically they recorded loads of stuff and would put something on rather than every TV with cricket and the 1 match too! I had a bottle of Canadian and a pint of Sleemans which is the only thing Canadian. As I say I've been coming here for years and it's gradually morphed into a regular UK pub with lots if screens. Very disappointing. Hopefully they'll make an effort to be something Canadian and get back to how it used to be 🤞 EDIT - shame to get such a sarcastic response to my initial review, which is probably indicative of something. I've watched recorded sport here many times - so I assume they did get the appropriate consents. (Which are available).
