Good Peruvian place to go for dinner. Dishes are not so big, so you can try a couple of them. I would recommend the ceviches. Service was excellent.

We had a great meal here - really enjoyed it. HOWEVER Whilst the service was good and the staff very friendly service is added at 20% - you can to specify if you want this reduced to 15% which i still feel is very generous. You are then asked by the waiter whether you want to add additional service 'just for him' and suggested 15%. I have been 3 times, the same process each time which is very awkward to decline especially so with clients.

Top atmosphere, impeccable service.

Fabulous place. Beautiful unique style. Service was amazing friendly, engaging, making you feel like you had your own stunning cocktail bar with attentive cocktail waitress in your own home after returning from work. The food was authentic, distinctive and delicious. The wagyu fillet, the best I have ever tasted. Loved the evening I spent there.

I love trying out all the high end restaurants and I’m almost always left feeling extremely underwhelmed as they’re generally high priced and low quality or tiny portions, however this is truly the first time I’ve been absolutely blown away by the food, service, atmosphere and just everything to do with this place. I only eat halal and no alcohol they were very accommodating and just really really tasty food.

A Unique Experience that became much better with the help of Pedro! All Choices were great, Especially Arroz Nikkei that was full of flavor!

Great atmosphere, excellent food and service. Our table was delayed so we had to wait at the bar but they kindly provided a drink on the house - no issues at all with that - its always how people deal with things that makes an occasion memorable. It would be 5 stars except that we were “encouraged” by the waiter to add a tip - maybe it was our fault for misunderstanding but we assumed no service charge had been added. It turned out to be additional - I think 15% is sufficient as a service charge without asking customers to add an additional amount. Just beware of that if dining here.

Food was amazing. Service was ok but they tried to give us the worst table and also tried to make us pay for a wine bottle that had gone bad. Atmosphere was abysmal, you can't hear each other because they pump out music as it if were a club

Such a nice ambiance and welcoming stuff. Food is great we had the chevice tasting as family experience s ribeye, that was great and we could not skip the dessert as the three leches con pistachios and churros. A really nice and tasty evening!

Excellent food, great atmosphere. It used to be better, but still is great. Many mistakes today at the Halloween party. Delays in the drinks order. We also ordered the treasure chest of shots, but the pyramid came instead. The barwoman rushed to take the pyramid away from the bar leaving the shots only- unacceptable pub-like service from everyone. We have been going to Coya since years, but not sure if this place is more us anymore. The crowd is also quite debatable.

Horrible experience at Coya Mayfair - please avoid. Horrifically overpriced, tiny portions of food, bill came to over £400. Food was cold. Staff forgot my dad's drink for an hour and starter and whilst they did correct this it was rather too late. Was there for a special occasion for my mum and felt very disappointed. Noisy bar with tables close together and not a proper restaurant. Overall, horribly overpriced food with terrible service - if you're a normal family looking for a special occasion to celebrate, do not waste your money here

Food was amazing the service though horrible also for that amount of money 600£ for a diner might aswell go Michelin star restaurants where the service will also be at the same level as the food.

We paid the bartender a ridiculously high amount for a mocktail and a tiny regular cocktail. The bar bill included a 15% s service charge and the bartender had marked an additional 10% service charge on the card. Then came the waiter in the restaurant. We had chosen when reserving the degustation menu and ticked no poultry for intolerances; we specified this to the waiter and he responded rudely that he is not sure the chef can do this although I tried to explain to him that it was the restaurant itself that allows for ticking this off the menu. He hurriedly left, brusquely picking up the menu and dropping my iPhone on the floor. He did not even apologise or pick it up, but tried to crack a bad joke. He left never asking us what we wanted to drink. The first dish we received was chicken! I complained to whom I was told was the manager (a more polite attendant) who changed our waiter and removed the drinks - a glass of wine and a non alcoholic gin tonic that we ended receiving half way through the meal - from our bill; this was less than the 15% service charge added for the bad service. Food was average. The fish in the ceviche was fresh, but the sauces in the 4 different variations were tasteless. Ambiance was not great either. Music was not good, there were a few large party tables that were literally shouting at times and felt more like a noisy overpriced fast food restaurant. My recommendation: Avoid unless you went to be ripped off by an over priced and mediocre meal in an unpleasant surrounding and served by bad waiters who seem on speed.

Loved it so much the first time I went back and really didn't. The fixed menu all arrived at once and long before the first white wine, which was then eclipsed by the cocktails that turned up at the end of the starters! The true picture is that the kitchen overrules the service and sets the pace, while the front of house is chaotically trying to keep up. I was exhausted trying to order wine, only to see the dish turn up 20 minutes before the wine I'd chosen to match it. Daft. Maybe it was just a bad day, but guys... the art of the craft is to have people smiling as they leave, not to wipe their arrival smiles due to the haphazard service. Food was good, and my wine choices were fabulous, but the provision of both failed me.

Disappointed by the reception experience today. My reservation was for 9 PM, and when I arrived early at 8:20 , I was asked to leave and return at 9. I waited outside only to see two tables being served before me. Eventually, I was offered a counter table despite arriving early. a huge shoutout to Jose Becerril for the amazing service! Your kindness made a big difference. Thank you!

Many party restaurants don’t survive in the city. The reason this one has is that the food is consistently good and the vibe is always fun. Always glad to go back. Like the music and the DJs.

Thank you Coya for an EXCELLENT meal and great service! I will definitely be returning, this place truly lives up to the reputation and expectations that have long been known for Coya. The Chilean sea bas is such a tasteful dish and the sea bass falls apart to perfectly. The waiter knew the menu well and had many recommendations. The guacamole is mixed right in front of you. The churros are truly the best in London, they’re soft and crunchy but not stale. The sea bass ceviche was light and fresh. The beef cuts were tender, although a tad too salty for me. On top my that the staff came out and sang happy birthday, which was a really nice touch. They’re very enthusiastic the way they sing, loved it. The food is great value (typical Mayfair prices) and we were all full up at the end of the dinner.

Come and enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner. Beautiful place throughout. The bar is top tier. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Food is really well done, flavours are outstanding.

This place used to be better but now the food and the service isn’t really up for the standard and check price that Coya has. Staff is quite dismissive and doesn’t really know the etiquette of fine dining and the food is just average.

We will go again. It has become a tradition to visit one of their branches every time we travel to London. In this place, we have the chance to get to know the Peruvian cuisine better, which we discovered in a small place called Machi in Suadiye.

I love the vibe here, everyone is having a good time.Nice champagne, good food, what’s not to like?This is definitely a go to place for a celebration or even a couples day out.

The food and ambience were superb as well as the waiters. However, the ladies at the door and responsible for the seating were a necessarily stoic, unfriendly and borderline rude. They gave us a horrible table at the corner of the restaurant next to the kitchen and lacked proper manners when handing us our coats before leaving. She basically threw my jacket on the table for me to pick up.

Visited Coya recently and tried many dishes. All were exceptionally tasty and appealingly presented. We had a very good waiter and sommelier. The staff that kindly served the food were also great at explaining each dish. So all round a very enjoyable evening. When we got the bill and went to pay the waiter invited us to add a % on the bill “for the staff”. I’m not sure where the first 15% goes.

The vibe here is nineties / noughties retro, love it! Food is always good and this time a new twist with a welcome party and canapés with bottomless champagne. After about 45minutes we were shown to our table and the music and live entertainment carried on along with the champagne and food being served. This is a great way to spend a Saturday brunch (12-4pm).

Went to Coya for dinner with friends. Group of five ladies. Lovely evening with great service. Food was delicious and the pisco sour too. Recommend.

My Peruvian friend took me to Coya. She said this is a genuine Peruvian restaurant. That's right. The service is brilliant. The staff welcomed us with hospitality. The atmosphere was gorgeous. We could use any scene for business, celebration, or private. The food was fantastic. I understand why Peruvian food is one of the best cuisines in the world.

The food is good but not exceptional and the atmosphere is really good. However the let down has always been the service.. I’ve been coming here for years and supported the restaurant through Covid but everytime its the same thing.. one hour in and they start to nag you for the table back. Interrupting conversations multiple times just to hint they want the table back. I remember two years ago I brought a client to dinner and we spent 2K after a bottle of wine and the behaviour was still the same. Services always starts well and end up horrendous.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY!!!!! I never take the time to write a review but this place was horrible to me. I have an all nut allergy and I told the waitress about the allergy which she told me that shouldn’t be a problem but would double check. When she came back she asked if I was okay with cross contamination which I told her no. Next thing I know the manager comes out and takes my plate and cup away and states VERY rudely that they will not serve me any food or drink because of my allergy. He was not nice about it at all and didn’t offer any accommodations. You would think for an “upscale” restaurant they would be able to accommodate. I have never been basically kicked out for my allergy in my life before this place. So I repeat never ever come to this place with an allergy or just in general with how rude the staff is!

Le pietanze sono eccezionali, la cucina peruviana stupisce nei sapori, un vero crescendo che regala un viaggio del palato. Rejia, la barman di origini italiane (super professionale e disponibile) ci ha accompagnato nella scelta dei cibi, suggerendo appetizer e main course degni di nota. Superlativo, tutto.

It has nice lounge vibe. We ordered everything possible from the seafood but i remember only crab tacos:). Desert was also good. Fondant but it’s called different in the menu.

Usually 10/10 last time was bad broken service kitchen talking too much some dish forgotten about. Manager rang and apologised endeavouring to make it better next time. We shall see

Had a meal as part of a group celebration, food was incredible with the waygu an absolute must!! The staff were very helpful and the atmosphere is very immersive.

A very interesting lunch & pleasant experience, however I do feel like they focus on the presentation more than the actual quality of the food it was good but fairly small portions & I dont think the quality of the meat was as good as i could have been. Also I think adding on a 15% service charge makes the place too expensive for what it is. I know it's in Mayfair, but if it wasn't for that I probably would have given 5 stars.

We went to coya as two families where the total bill came up to £900 inc service (£300 drinks and £600 food) and we all left hungry noting 2 of the party were 9 years old. We were sat on a round table in front of the small glass windowed cooking area. On initial entry the restaurant lacks any presence or sense of occasion which is what we normally expect from higher priced venues. We didn't mind the more unassuming set up and thought this would be great for a date or business lunch. The menu looked good and the prices were slightly higher than other similar establishments however we thought perhaps the quantity/quality would be elevated or the presentation may be special. Unfortunately it was not. The ceviche platter for £80 consisted of 5 small bowls of cubed fillings of which 1 was cucumbers so 4 fish. Each person would need two or 3 bowls to be satisfied. The taste was ok but each one was very similar to the next apart from the actual fish. We also ordered a number of skewers but at £17 for 2 micro skewers an absolute waste of money, lacked taste and wasn't filling at all. We also got the crab tacos which were excellent but at £7 a taco felt very steep in pricing. Overall we were a little shocked at the overall price given no one was full or satisfied and wont be visiting again. If you can afford to go to Coya there are better places.

Good food - empanadas, ceviche, skewers and spicy beef were highlights. very cool interiors and bar downstairs. Were placed at a table near the toilets and couldn’t see the live music so that was disappointing. Were rushed to vacate table after a 2 hr slot but they found us a table in the bar to finish our desserts.

Dishes: Arroz Nikkel (Sea bass with risotto) and Japanese Wagu are the two must order dishes. Churro as a dessert makes our dinner a perfect ending.

Our first visit here but certainly will not be the last. Wonderful pre-lunch Pisco Sour at the lovely cocktail bar. Beautiful decor and nice ambience. We had the set lunch menu and it was excellent. £38 per head for 2 courses. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free which is excellent for me as a coeliac. We had tuna tostadas and the calamari to start followed by the miso Seabass and crispy beef for main. It was all totally delicious. The fish was simply outstanding. Wines are pricey but no more so than other equivalent London restaurants. Service was great. Background music was cool South American vibe. Can't wait to return.

Although staff were initially quick and attentive, throughout the night we had to continuously ask for our drinks as we had waited over 30 mins for some coke. Also I’m not too sure what was in the crab taco but both my friend and I had ordered it with no previous issue with crab, yet about 45 minutes to an hour later we fell sick and i actually vomited multiple times…. Wouldn’t recommend the portion sizes were too small and the food itself caused sickness.

Went for our anniversary dinner on a Friday night and booked a table in advance l, picked this place based on raving reviews online so decided to try it out. On arrival we were seated promptly and the staff were friendly, it was pretty efficient considering it was so busy. As soon as wee were seated things felt very rushed from then on. The booking was for an hour so understood they needed to ensure the table was free after that but it’s a little uncomfortable when waiters are consistently coming to ask if you’re ready to order and continuously asking if they can remove plates of food that have not been finished. The food itself was sub standard, definitely over priced. The steak didn’t seem quality and the flavours were okish, the starters were decent though. Decor was really nice and it was a buzzing environment but I think the rushing has put me off this place.

Coya keeps hitting the spot. I’d previously had the tasting menu at Coya City for a business meal, so wanted to try Mayfair for a meal with my wife. Food is absolutely top notch. Could not fault anything and, unlike tasting menus elsewhere, these are not tiny little courses. Highlights - the pulled wagyu bao was fantastic, the stone fish ceviche in ponzu and truffle was incredible and the beef fillet and the sea bass with rice were both amazing. For £95 per person menu I thought it was exceptional. Only negative for me was the wine prices. A bit punchy, but that’s the way it is. £95 Cloudy Bay is a touch toppy. Total bill was £360. Definitely will be going again.

Tired to call them prior to my booking that i have tomorrow with coya mayfair have been on hold for over an hour with no answer what so ever, i wanted to express and ask if they served halal food as there was no clarification on their website, i am extremely dissapointed by the customer service provided by coya and i havent even visted them yet.

From the outside one could not imagine the space and the noise inside. The restaurant has a nice decor and atmosphere overall but it is somewhat spoiled by the amount of people crammed in. The chatter noise is just deafening. If you want to have a conversation or a quite date then look elsewhere. The service is a little stretched but friendly overall. The food although not particularly interesting, it is good nonetheless.

The best steak in in London by far, the food is amazing and the quality of the meat is amazing, the staff is also very friendly with affordable prices. I would highly recommend

Santana Review's ♡ COYA MAYFAIR Location ♡ Located in piccadilly, Coya is quite easy to find. Please be aware parking may be difficult to find around the area. Preferably take a taxi or uber as that would be much easier. Atmosphere♡ Coya is not one of those resturants with bright hospital lights, that i personally think takes away the vibe and experience from dining. Lights are ever so slightly dimmed but not too dark either. Good choices of music playing in the background, which is very important because hearing house music or depressing songs is not somthing i want to be hearing whilst eating food. Hospitality ♡ You are greeted through out the premises from entry untill you sit down to leaving the building , this gives that personalised experience of dining, staff are very welcoming and helpful. The standard and professionalism from the staff memebers are spectacular. Food♡ A tailored to all menu and very well thought out, you have the most amazing choices to chose from. We had the gaucamole con crocantes for starter, which was done live at our table and what a wonderful touch that is for the experience. For main we had two different types of steak to excite the platte, acompanied by fresh stem brocolli. You wouldnt believe me untill you sit down yourself and ate the steak because when i tell you it was so tender and soft, almost melts in youre mouth. Id be dying if im lying. Flavour did not overwhelm the steak but enough to really enjoy the food. Drinks are lovely ❤️

We had a great time celebrating my God daughters birthday there. The food was great as was the atmosphere. I'm very grateful that the staff were able to provide facilities for the 4 year old who was acting up. We do apologise to the rest of the diners. Peter who was our main waiter was absolutely brilliant! All other staff were sensational. We're looking to go back for the degustation menu at some point :) It was definitely a dinner to remember. I went here for a friend’s birthday and the atmosphere was just perfect for the occasion. The food was great and it was a sharing menu type of concept which allowed us to try various types of foods which were also very generous in portion size. They were very accommodating with food allergies and helped recommend alternatives dishes or seasoning. The drinks were tasty too. My friend really enjoyed her birthday dinner here and it is a place I would definitely recommend and come back too as well. The service was amazing 🤗.

We placed an order for appetizers and entrees, although the food was delicious. The waiter brought out all the food at once. By the time we started eating the entree, it was cold. When the check came, there was a 15% service charge included and the waiter kept pushing for a larger tip. Absolutely disgusting !!

Great food and service but I wasn’t made aware that there is a service charge. I unknowingly added a 10% tip on top of the 15% service charge making my total tip 25%. So for that i didn’t feel it was worth what I ended up paying.

The place with great vibe and very attentive team! The service was very friendly and the team gave very good suggestions for meal options. If you wanna experience delicious food in a vibrant atmosphere I would highly recommend!

On the positive side, the food was good and our waiter was very friendly. The negative things have started before we arrived. We got a call that they move our reservation from 19:30 to 19:00 because we are with a toddler, that was already rude and annoying. We sat for 20 minutes from the time we got menus until they took the order and then they told us that they'll do everything quickly as we need to leave in 80 minutes as the table is booked. When we complained, magically they realized that it's another table that was booked and we could stay. Some of the staff were rude and inpatient.

Excellent Cuisine. Diverse dishes, lovely music and atmosphere!

Overpriced, overcooked, overcrowded, overly loud, over decorated, over staffed, over the top. To be more specific, as a meal costing well over £100 per person deserves some detail: I lost count of the staff who served us, I think it was 4. Plus, you have to navigate least 3 layers of staff, just to get seated. This feels like playing an RPG, and isn't an improvement from the 1 greeter plus 1 waiter that's standard. (Everyone was helpful though.) Starter was avocado (unripe, couldn't finish) and tortilla-type crisp bread (slightly burned, couldn't finish). Sharer was chicken skewers (nice sauce, bland broiler meat, finished out of boredom). Main was octopus (very nice meat, reasonably priced for area - but small, cold, and greasy with unsubtle chilli oil) served with crispy aubergine (generally good, would recommend) and broccoli (burned - seriously, who burns broccoli? how is that even a thing?). Toilets have a really dangerous hidden step going in, which I bet has claimed many an unwary drunk. How can you spend so much on decor and not even make the steps safe?? DJ is so loud you struggle to hear each other, even at a 4 person table - and the sound system isn't even good quality audio. If you want an alternative to this place, drop your ego and try a mid priced chain, like wagamama - you can probably order the entire menu and just pick the bits you like, without spending any more. COYA is a place for conspicuous consumption, but sadly not of high quality food.

One of the best fancy restaurants in Mayfair. Delicious Peruvian food. Big choice of wines and spirits. The staff are professional and friendly. Cosy and romantic atmosphere.
