Dim t - Charlotte Street in City of London, Westminster

I took a colleague here for lunch here today - and we were both totally underwhelmed by the service and food - Service incredibly slow -Food really disappointing , Dim Sum - tasteless - Singapore noodles - which I have eaten all over the world and this was most the uninspiring rendition - dry and lacking in zest .My colleague recently returned from Malaysia i had Nasi Goring and said iit wa stop dry to eat-and if served . Dim T used to be tasty and good value -my experience today is that its now neither . We did tell our server - who commiserated ! a shame

A nice welcoming restaurant. The woman who served us was excellent, she was very helpful and had a great sense of humour. The food was very nice, the dim sum was of the highest quality. I had the lamb curry, it was tasty! I would love to come back to this restaurant with more people in the future, it is a good place to to go with a party.

Our food was tasty and came quick. Everything was very hot when it came to the table and we make sure to let it cool. We also got the duck pancakes which I didn’t take a photo of but it was delicious. There was this one woman who served us who was so lovely! I forgot her name and I told her I would review ages ago. Hopefully she is still there :)

I recently dined at Dim T and had an incredible experience. I ordered the chicken Katsu curry and spicy tempura prawns, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The chicken Katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the spicy tempura prawns had just the right amount of kick to them. What truly made my dining experience exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Faizal, our server. From the moment we walked in, Faizal greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Throughout the meal, Faizal was attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. His friendly and engaging demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. In addition to the delectable food and top-notch service, the atmosphere of Dim T was inviting and cozy. The staff were kind and accommodating, making sure that every guest felt welcomed and cared for. Overall, I highly recommend Dim T for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. From the mouthwatering dishes to the exceptional service provided by Faizal and the rest of the staff, it's truly a gem of a restaurant. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their delicious offerings.

This used to be a nice restaurant. Sadly our last visit was a huge let down. The food was poor in every possible sense, microwaved like, poor presentation and small portions. Service was non existent and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. They switched off the music and started to tidy up 45 minutes before closing time which is highly unprofessional.

Had a really good experience, food was delicious and service was incredible. Our waiter Faizul was excellent. He recommended us delicious dishes and really alleviate our experience. Highly recommend.

Firstly, I was due to visit the restaurant but I cancelled the plans due to the below explanation and partial apologies to whoever responded on the dim t page to this review for deleting and reposting it felt right to do this but I have emailed as you suggested, that email address Very rude man on the phone, I was speaking perfectly normal toned, no rudeness or anything negative and he got it into his head very wrongly that I was speaking to him in a certain way (implied negative) when I definitely wasn't... I'd innocently said "oh, I'd been trying to call your restaurant it was ringing then went to line busy" he then said "sorry who am I speaking to?" I mentioned my name and I was aiming to be a customer, didn't get round to my query because I was so upset by his tone ... Assumed he could call me "madam" TWICE in this day and age society needs a bigger wake up call, I had to hang up so it didn't escalate. I didn't know they were in the middle of a busy service even though google maps says less busy than usual as far as I'm concerned, he did wrong he's in the wrong and I'm the victim here. I did nothing wrong. Neither of us are mind readers. And I am sick of people assuming that based on the sound of my voice they can call me "ma'am/madam" in this day and age change the record!!! Was told in an email response that the above is still in practice unless otherwise told beforehand which is not appropriate in today's society. It's difficult enough being a non-binary person and that shouldn't be in practice and customers shouldn't be made to feel like they have to pre warn. So essentially I feel unwelcome. Cancelled my booking, very reluctant to go here again, felt extremely angry and shaken

Arrived and was advised that the kitchen was closing in 45 minutes which was fine. However in 45 minutes the main lights came on, music turned off, and staff started sweeping the floors around us. Ruined what could have been a lovely meal.

We booked a table here for 6 people and had the best chinese. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is exquisite and well priced. The restaurant was busy and had a great atmosphere too. The only downside (and it didnt really affect the overall experience) was that there only seemed to be one waitress but she was efficient.

There's was also a nice surprise at the DimT restaurant!! Food really nice and lots of choices and fast service. Will go back if in area.

Honestly had such a lovely experience. The best dishes for sure are the Char Siu pork buns and the Duck Spring Rolls both 10/10. The rest of the dim sum was tasty but on nothing revolutionary. However everything is very well priced and the staff were extremely friendly so we 100% recommend returning!

The staff were very attentive and sweet, and the place and vibe was relaxed and lively, not too busy or cramped. I personally felt the lemongrass tea was no different to water, and the ramen could have done with much more veg in, as it was mostly noodles. But overall we enjoyed, especially the dim sum, and my friends loved their Korean veg chicken and red curry! :) Thanks again to the sweet ladies who arranged and gave the treat!

Friendly service, food is not bad, portion is reflected on the pricing. Korean sauce tofu was delish but there were more peppers than tofu The sweet coconut flat noodles is the most allergen free option but it's was a tad too spicy. Pork ramen comes in a deep broth

I have been to DimT 3 times and each time I had a wonderful experience. My friend recommended the venue and she was spot on. The food is delicious, varied and great value for money. The atmosphere is tranquil and zen and relaxed. Great place for a long meal or a date. On this occasion we were asked if we wanted a quieter seat , which was very attentive of our server Syed. Syed was awesome ! Will return !!

Good Asian restaurant with a mixture of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean dishes. I had the seafood rice dish and would highly recommend! They had quite a few reservations, even for lunch, so would recommend booking ahead.

Really great vegan options here! We tried the black bean tofu and the Korean vegan chicken. The vegan chicken boa buns were really good too. Everything was cooked well and had a great flavour! Staff were friendly too and the restaurant has a nice wooden interior. Would recommend if you're vegan.

Literally one of the best nights out.... amazing friendly and attentive service....from everyone waiter/server/bar staff....nothing was too much....James was fantastic...food was soooo good I can't wait to come back! We visited once before and we were happy with the service and food so I decided to celebrate my graduation party with my boyfriend at this place. However, at this occasion the manager/ waiter was not very hospitable to us. Maybe because we looked like foreigners or something but he was not very nice with us. When we asked him to explain some of the vegan dishes for us, he was very unhelpful and said have it if you like but like if we don’t know what it is, how can we eat it? Whereas, he was very hospitable and had a full blown conversation ; joking around with the guest behind us( whereas with us, he was very stern and just very blunt). Additionally, he forgot to order my boyfriend’s main course but he denied remembering it. Overall, we won’t be returning back because he ruined the whole vibe for the day. The food was great hence why we returned but the service and the management were utterly despicable. Nobody not once came to check on us if the food was great or if we needed anything else. It was really difficult to capture their attention even though, it was not that busy and we were seating at the front of the restaurant.

I had an amazing time their the other day, I took my sister their for lunch the other day, cause she was craving some dim sum, I don’t know if it was because it’s not really a lunch place, but it was quite quiet, the Vibe is very chill, the glass roof at the back, really open the place up, especially because it started to rain a bit while we were in there and the noise is quite lovely, the dim sum was awesome. The rest of the food while not amazing, was a bit of a let down to be honest, overall, though, it was a very nice time

I really enjoyed the miso salmon I had there. The gyozas and dumplings were pretty good too. I recommend the pork and prawn dumpling in particular. Clean, pretty decent service and nice wine

I came across to this restaurant for something take away on Thursday evening. I really do not understand how some people can say that the food is blend. It can be everything but not blend! First of all I want to say that the team (1Lady and 3 Gentlemans) are nice,friendly and bubbly. I ordered Nasi Goreng and Singapore Noodles that were full of flavour, and I really suggest them! Moreover ,I tried tempura and Dim Sum ( Chicken e spicy prawn ). Good rapport between quality/price /size of portions. See you soon!

The service and atmosphere of the spot was pleasant, but the food was mostly bland and had no flavour.

Had the dim sums, which were really not incredible. The menu has a lot of very different Asian dishes, so there is a trade-off between quantity of options and quality there. The dining area and service are really nice though.

On vacation with my girlfriend (future wife) we were just walking through London. Until our tummies started to rumble. She saw this amazing Japanese restaurant. Ofcourse the first thing she checked if they had gyoza 🥟 and her eyes sparkled. We took a seat and the waitress’s were very nice and challenged us for a game of rock paper scissors that we unfortunately lost. But none the less the food was the best I have ever eat and the staff was very friendly. I will never forget this experience.

On June 14th my boyfriend and I were in front of the Dim t restaurant on Charlotte street. We decided to stop for dinner, it was the best choice of our vacation. Excellent service and food, we were full, but not at all heavy and the guys Anima, James and Tonmoy were adorable, friendly and joking, we loved everything about that dinner. Thanks guys😘😘😘 Tania

Very very nice food, would 100% recommend trying the chicken gyoza noodle soup! The prices were great, the place looks nice, and there is a wide variety of options to choose from.
