There was a queue of customers with trolleys, full, and only one person on the till. Have people on the till! The poor lady on till didn't have a headset either so had to call over another employee on self-serve to ask for someone else to be on tills. And then when they did, they went to the far end, not the till next to, or one over. Meant people at the back rushed there and those who had been waiting longer in the middle of the line had to stay in that queue or be at the back of another. Terrible system. Would not do a big shop here again.

the workers were very rude to begin with then i ordered the vegetable breakfast of which when served had bacon on it!! nearly vomited at the sight of it. my family also were served the wrong drinks got cappuccinos instead of a black coffee.

When The Amber Rooms were not opening until 10am on New Year's Day and we had arranged for our group of friends to meet up for breakfast there at 9am befire depating to travel home Sainsbury's being open was an absolute Godsend. We were greeted by a charming and friendly member of staff, the food was really goid and served promptly. We will consider coming here in future.

We went into the cafe today as we’d been shopping with the kids and family. There was only one lad working at the till, Whilst he was friendly & polite he was slow and there was more people waiting to order as we were getting our drinks. To be honest we actually felt sorry for the poor lad who seemed to be struggling. People started to look fed up because they were waiting. The cafe it’s self looks ok, reasonably clean. I understand it’s a Sunday but really there should of been 2 members of staff on the till and drinks to be more efficient.

Saturday lunch time, one member of staff on duty who only worked at a slow pace and seemed to have little knowledge or interest in what they were doing. Second in the queue and after waiting around 15 minutes to get served we left.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a lovely waitress called Erin, throughout my stay she was very very helpful and professional. The food was great for the price paid and the tea and was also very nice! Would definitely recommend.

Had to ask for refund because the coffee frappe ordered and paid for did not arrive. Asked for explanation and was told "We are short staffed'. Hope the new Aldi"s being built on Allendale Road has a cafe.

I know not to expect a five star restaurant meal from a supermarket cafe but what I received was way below average, I ordered the breakfast baguette and it seems to me like they had left the bread in the over for way too long. It was so burnt it was stale I could not bite into it for the better, I had to just eat the filling and the soft parts of the bread (about an 8th if lucky) the sausages were also badly burnt. If it wasn’t for the friendly service and the fact I had somewhere to be I would of put in a massive complaint and asked for a refund.

Been a few times and seems to be average at best. On my last visit soft drink machine wasn't working and service to get a milkshake was so slow. I know it's cheap and cheerful but actually lacks the friendly welcome you get in the smaller independent cafes. Functional in as much as you can get a drink and snack but that's about it.

Use this cafe sometimes when shopping and decided to have lunch there recently. Ordered cottage pie and a tea. Took the tea to a table and not many minutes later the meal arrived. It seemed as though the cottage pie was a Sainsbury Basic but was cooked spot on although not a lot of it and along with the veg made for a nice snack. For the price good value.

i have breakfast here every saturday morning and have never had cause to complain, food is always presented well and nice and hot. Service is good and friendly

My friend and I go here most Friday's for the Fish n Chips meal plus a pot of tea. The food is nice and hot and freshly cooked. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and are very friendly. I would recommend this over the Toby Carvery any day as three times Toby Carvery have let me down and been very disappointing.

After being very let down by the local toby carvery a group of us descended upon the local supermarket cafe which was staffed by very nice people who served us quickly with good wholesome food. Would recommend this eatery before the local toby carvery any day

Situated just off the town centre with ample car parking, cheap and good quality food and drinks, plus you get 2 hrs free parking

We were in Loughborough doing some shopping and I wanted to nip into sainsburys. My little one (3) was hungry so we ate in the restaurant. It was busy and the food took a while to come out but it was really nice and hot. Pleasantly surprised!! Will definitely return.

Vamos más temprano los viernes por la noche (5 pm) ya que por lo general, es bastante tranquila de la locura en el centro de la ciudad. Está limpio y bajo costo pero tienes lo que pagas es decir la carne carne stroganoff y Curry son sin duda las comidas de microondas. El pescado y las patatas fritas son buenas, pero venden con frecuencia como consecuencia. Sigue siendo un buen lugar correrá en algo lejos de la muchedumbre.

Popped in for lunchtime soup on a Saturday. I cant believe that after all the years the store has been in the town, with a cafe, no one has reviewed the caferteria.Basic menu, a reasonable variety of hot and cold snacks and a daily special, take a tray, help yourself. Counter service. "Valuable" condiments, butters and jam portions kept hidden away under the counter - you have to ask.Went for the soups of the day. Prbably quite hard to "create" it in the back so they opt for pre made "catering" style bags of the stuff. Tasted like Heinz, a little. Tomato and Basil and a Chicken and Vegatable were on offer. 1 of each with a bread roll came (with a butter portion!) came to £5.05. I paid with a £10, then added a 10p coin into the mix which totally confused the assistant. Not rocket science i thought, she even had to ask me how much change i needed....Seating area - a large open space, probably quite cold in the winter. Some "comfortable" seating at one end with all the cutlery, napkins and seasoning sachets. Newspapers available to read for free. useful.Worst point being that all the chocolate brown pvc covered seating had dirty greasy fingermarks over it. My advice. Deep clean the place.Still, its another off the bucket list. Probably wont repeat the experience.
