Sainsbury's Cafe in Sedgemoor

Considering they have a shop full of cakes, snacks and doughnuts they have nothing available in their cafe. A full commercial kitchen doing nothing There’s a reason why we were 1 if 3 tables sat in there as there’s no hot food and such a poor selection of snacks and cakes available it’s pointless having the cafe open!!

Visited for lunch before attending the Bridgwater Carnival. Staff all very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Food was served in good time and was very tasty

My first impression was shocking. Dirty tables. Ordered macaroni and cheese with side salad it was only salad hardly and macaroni £4:50 wouldn’t pay and have it again. My dad had bacon roll, 4 slices of bacon over cooked the roll was warm so that was ok. There was no butter on the rolls so dad had to go and ask. Some people don’t have butter on there rolls but they could have put some on the side for people that do. Quite disappointed came here for my birthday wouldn’t come again!!!

Food reasonably priced and good ( Bacon sandwich with seeded bread option £2 , large good Cappuccino £3). Quite clean for a café and fast service, other meals look appetising as well. Comfy seats but a tad chilly with the air con.

The Cafe reflects the store generally,tired ,staff that have rearly not much interest apart from picking up a wage . Carry on the way you are Sainsbury's and you will get presently what you deserve -Closure! The public are not stupid !

As this is a typical cafe attached to a supermarket, then the cuisine is mostly the same as other Sainsbury's cafes. My toastie was as expected, and filled a hole. The coffee was the same as most coffee machines in that it was drinkable. We found the service to be neither slow nor quick, but the staff were pleasant enough. They offered a smile as they brought the food to the table.

Went in for lunch. Had a jacket potato. No room for ordering extras or changing contents. Have what's listed or nothing! Other branches allow! 15 min wait. When it arrived it was plonked down on table (not on my part) as waitress was talking to another member of staff who had popped into cafe to say she was off until the following Wednesday . I said thank you which was ignored and had no interaction whatsoever. The table number was whisked away and no words mentioned. The potato was like warm and tasted of nothing! The decor is outdated . Plenty of tables still needed to be cleared and the cafe a little dirty. Will not be returning.

Went to Sainsbury’s cafe in Bridgwater to kill time before store opened on a Sunday morning We ordered vegetarian breakfasts and drinks didn’t expect much as wasn’t much money but we were pleasantly surprised with what we received

I had to wait 30 minutes for my sandwich to be toasted (by which time I had finished my drink) and when it came the cheese was almost liquid! The staff member didn't even say sorry for the wait! And £3.50 for that sandwich was ridiculous

I was hoping to take my little boy in to the cafe for a breakfast. When we got there, there was only 1 table available, lots of people not looking very happy. The person serving us was friendly, but didn't tell me the waiting time for a breakfast was over half hour! Good I checked with him before I paid. Not going to wait that long with a 2 year old. Instead we both had a drink and cookie The cafe was full but clean, a lady was collecting plates and other rubbish The food looks nice and I will try it when not busy

Although the food is ok and generally the cafe is kept clean the service is terrible. We have on several occasions walked out because there was no one serving, and when you do get served there can be a very long wait.

Sainsburys have recently updated their Bridgwater cafe. Food quality has always been good but service let it down in past. Now much improved service, quicker, very friendly smiling staff and tasty food. Always worth the few extra pennies for a better munch

Cooked to order, value for money and good quality ingredients make this a great place for breakfast. They use nice sausages and not the cheap ones and they are all cooked very well. It looks like great care is taken in cooking the food in the cafe which cannot always be said in such establishments. Only negative is that it was bit slow arriving given that we had arrived just as it opened and there probably wasn't that many staff in the kitchen. Will more than likely return.

Good breakfast served hot and well cooked, plenty of parking, clean tables and friendly staff - pity that can't be said about the rest of the store

Wide variety of freshly prepared meals -snacks- sandwiches & cakes always available -ideal to rest & " have a coffee" after the weekly shopping trip -reasonable priced and a good selection. Easy access for wheelchair users. Staff are most helpful- many thanks

Ok that's about all I can say food good if you got cast iron guts if not make sure toilet is close by will not be eating there again 😡

La máquina de café estaba descompuesto y tuvimos que esperar 25 minutos para la comida, luego un huevo que faltaba desde el plato. No hay disculpas dado cuando fue finalmente sirve después de quejarnos. Además, ¿por qué no tienen el tamaño normal de un desayuno? Es sólo un gran desayuno o una porción de niños. Nada en el medio. No me impresionó nada con este lugar. Sainsburys necesita espabilen si quieren seguir sirviendo comida.

Mi pareja y yo regularmente cenar en este lugar. Siempre nos gusta la comida; el servicio es amable, y los precios son muy atractivos.

the cafe cooks a good brunch..big plate of food :)))staff are very friendly :))) and reasonable prices too

The menu was basic, but good value, the staff were pleasant.We were served quickly and efficiently by friendly staff. our food was brought out within 15 minutes and was hot and tasty. The service was good

good food, fair prices (for sainsburys). Staff are courteous and helpful. Shame they don't have more of the comfortable seating with individual tables and less of the long tables with wooden chairs (think school hall style but more posh)

We come here to do the weekly shop and if it’s not too busy drop in for an indulgent /easy late breakfast. The menu won’t set the world on fire but then it’s not designed to. Good value for what you get though you sometimes have to wait a long time for your order to be processed.

Sainsbury's café is pretty average but at least its there. I used its convenience because I needed to eat prior to shopping. The chair was comfortable, the staff were helpful and the food filled a gap.

Ok it's not somewhere for a date or night out but grabbing something to eat whilst your doing the weekly shopping its great value for moneyNot having to go home and cook is great and with really good evening specials make it pain free too.

When I was younger I was an Asda guy because I preferred the colour green, now I am more of an orange guy so have started to go to Sainsburys. I would recommend this pleasant little cafe to all. It has a great atmosphere and the staff are ever so helpful with their lovely orange hats! But back to the Breakfast. Jeez, never thought I would come across a perfectly fried egg, but the chef here nailed it! This egg started me on a journey of pure breakfast ecstasy. And i would highly recommend this to anyone :)

I have had the pleasure (coughs) to have visited Sainsburys cafe several times, each time the service is poor and the food is 3.5 out of 5.
