Great portion size, well cooked and both bacon and sausage excellent quality with the best cranary bread. All the in ingredients that make a full English to kick start the weekend

Always used this cafe before I moved from Bexhill and it was the best. Back for a week visiting family so made this a must visit as early as possible. The cafe has been renamed Sandies and has had a lot of decorating work done which looks fantastic. What has not changed is the great welcome and service you get from Jade and the food is still the best. Great to see Sue back in the kitchen providing some super cooking. For me still the best in the area and a real pleasure to visit. The breakfast can’t be beaten!

A warm welcome and the food was lovely presented. One member had a cooked breakfast as this is done all day and you can make your own up. Another two members had the specials - roast chicken dinner and the other had quiche chips and salad. There was a lot of it and the quiche was home made. It is also reasonably priced.

Introduced my brother to Sadies breakfast after regular visits with colleagues. The breakfast is always good. Lots of choice. Hot and tasty. The two girls are fab. Always greeted with a smile and chat.

I regularly meet my sister here for breakfast and a catch-up. The food is great and consistently cooked well. The 2 girls who look after you at the table are very friendly and efficient. Lovely girls. It is a nice atmosphere and not rushed in any way. Will really miss it when I move away

Amazing breakfast from Sadies, one of the best fry ups in Bexhill. Good value for money too. They change items you don't want. Toast or fried bread. Very accommodating.

First visit for breakfast and very pleased lovely breakfast and staff more than happy to swap items i didnt want for something else ie mushrooms replaced by hash browns. Fried bread huge if i had to moan ud say too much of it but over really pleased and will def go back.

It used to be a great place for a big full English over the years but it's become a bit sad as time has gone by. The place desperately needs refurbishing and the sticky menus, drab decor and grubby sauce bottles need to go. The big breakfast does represent value for money but it just seems that the operators heart is not in it anymore for whatever reason so until things change unfortunately we won't be back.

I would just like to say that I have visited this cafe before. No problem. Today as I walked by I saw the offer of teacake and tea for 2 for £3.50 Great offer I have no complaints, 5 were ordered 1 outside the offer no problem. I paid. Our teas arrived very promptly no complaints. The problem came when our teacakes did not, after waiting 15 mins and my husband getting agitated as teas had been drunk and no teacakes in site. I eventually went to enquire about the said teacakes. One young lady apologised for the delay and said they were short staffed. Another lady said if I wanted my teas and teacakes to arrive at the same time I should have said. I explained the offer was for tea and teacake and her response was ridiculous thing to say. Needless to say I will NOT be going there again, there are far more cafe's in bexhill with more lovely surroundings and lovelier staff. Such a shame.

Near Every Sunday with out fail we go for breakfast nice food bit slow but you don't mind waiting for good food friendly staff 9/10 all round

The food is great, the portions are big. However, if you are an older person, or a child with a smaller appetite you can have a smaller, still generous portion. Vegetarians are welcome. The sauces (ketchup) are top brands. Lovely food, friendly staff, great value for money. Best value in town. Been there over 70 times now. You can go in as you are, well dressed or in your working clothes (paint spattered). A good old fashioned cafe, in the best possible sense. Fresh vegetables every day, great fresh bread, big and chunky. Lets keep it going by supporting it.

Sadie's is a classic old school cafe that serves all day breakfasts, sandwiches, cooked dinners etc. It's not an upmarket or, to be honest, a particularly well maintained place. However, the farmhouse breakfast I enjoyed was well cooked and presented and the ingredients were of excellent quality. Sausages and eggs in particular were superb. The bread is fresh and thick cut, which seems to be a trademark here. Generous, hearty and good value. Make sure you visit hungry!

Was in town and decided to pop ibto Sadies for an all day breakfast.

Still really lovely food sausages were really good bit of a wait but all cooked fresh to order fried bread is massive

Dropped in for a breakfast, on a Saturday morning, as I had heard some good reports about this place.

Great food at a great price. We had traditional breakfast with free black pudding,fried bread was with uncut bread so nice and chunky,meaty sausage and fresh mushrooms. Not greasy either which is also a bonus all cooked to order.

Desayunos maravillosos. El pan era del bloomer pan y comida hizo que el ir de genial preciosa. Las cenas y la carne y el tipo de comida y dos verduras son realmente sano hizo. No hay señales de la grasa y el aceite. Recomiendo Sadies...

Las mesas estaban pegajosas, el suelo estaba sucio y así eran las paredes, la comida era apenas tibia y mi marido ha estado enfermo todo el día desde entonces. Aparentemente tienen premio de higiene alimentaria de 5! ! Creo que necesita reevaluando porque no veo...

Siempre bueno, nunca ha sido defraudado y variedad de desayunos para todos los gustos. Mucho espacio interior y siempre está ocupado, pero los desayunos son de los mejores de la ciudad.

My office decided to have a pre Christmas office breakfast and chose Sadies on St Leonard's Road. Previously all has been well however today's offerings were very poor and substandard. My advice to others is 'Don't bother with this place until they standardise there portion sizes. Currently it's hit and miss on whether you get a good sandwich Go to subway instead.

I go to sadies frequently and I must say it's impressive that they use fresh locally sourced ingredients and keep the price as low as they do, many would argue that the prices are expensive, but when you look at what you actually get, they are very reasonably priced. Sadies is a great place to have a fresh large cooked breakfast and the staff have always been polite!

Sadies do the best breakfast in town. And Staff are polite 7 friendly. However the place is filthy & needs a complete new decor. I have been a customer for a few years now but I will not be returning until Sadies Cafe clean up their act!!!

Very good quality ingredients cooked really well and served with a smile, what more could you want? Lots of it? Yep they have that covered as well, our first visit we had their largest breakfast, for the price we were shocked at how much food there was on the massive plates they brought us! Today we had the smallest and still felt pleasantly full, they are happy to switch things around and make the breakfast exactly what you want as well, definitely our favourite place for a cooked breakfast (generally at lunchtime lol)

Lovely staff, great food but please please Sadie's have a good clean, its absolutely disgraceful at the moment.Iv been a regular customer for years now but I just can't go anymore.

We were in Bexhill for the beging of September as part of our family holidays, we were looking for a place where to have our breakfast and we found this nice. We had three kinds of breakfasts and all of them were just amazing!!

Had a lovely breakfast here this morning. We had the farmhouse breakfast the bacon and sausages were meaty and generous portions. Great place to go.

Spotlessly clean, good menu choice, tasty, freshly cooked food and good value for money. What sets this place apart though is the service, very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We love popping in here for Sunday brunch, never disappoints.

Sadies is a great little cafe. Food is fresh with huge portions at reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. I have a medical condition that severely restricts what I can eat but they are never put out even when I order very awkward things. Needs a coat of paint but other than that it's my second favorite cafe. My first is owned by my best friend so a little biased lol

My guilty pleasure is that Sadies Café keeps pulling me back through its door at least once every 2 weeks for its vegetarian breakfast and sometimes its' tea and teacakes.This is a no frills, clean and affordable café. The prices are reasonable, so are the portions (depends on what you are buying).The service is excellent and always accompanied by friendly warm reception. In the warm weather periods, you can acutally eat alfresco at the back of the café, although the smokers seem to colonise this area sometimes.

A really nice place for breakfast. Lots of choice to build your own or go large with the farmhouse. Lovely staff good prices. Can't fault it

Wow ordered the breakfast and when it arrived was awesome. I ordered toast on the side not needed as the farmhouse was more than enough. Great service as well.

They do a lovely cooked breakfasts thick, bread and butter, you can choose b&b, toast or fried slice. There are set breakfasts to choose from plus you can make your own or add and remove etc! Pleasant cafe.

We had a breakfast here this morning and what a breakfast it was, sausages were big and meaty, toast/fried bread was proper bread not thin value line bread, bacon wasn't the usual see through stuff it was nice thick rashers, fast and friendly service, try it, but be aware you will need to be starving

A super greasy spoon . Very fast service. Lovely food for all . Good kids menu. Light and airy venue with an outside seating area.

Every time I visit this cafe, I leave with fond memories of the food and coffee and that's just breakfast. The bread is out of this world along with the sausages , the way its always cooked perfect & hot!!. Quality ingredients. The staff are always pleasant & cheerful.Great place.

Sades cafe cook the best breakfast in bexhill, good quality sausages, free blackpudding. & lovely crusty bread what more could you want. It does get a bit echo-y where it gets so busy but don't let that put you off

Have been here many times and always enjoy the food and coffee, it's about the only place in bexhill that offers value and real home cooked food.

I have just had breakfast here with my family, I had heard good things about the breakfasts so was expecting good things, not so! Service was pleasant and efficient, the front of house girls were friendly. The food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering which in my book says that can't be cooked fresh! The plate was big and piled up, definitely good value for money if you like that kind of thing, the sausages looked deep fried and they had somehow managed to make the whole outside skin thicker than shoe leather, cutting into it I have seen more moisture in a brick! The bacon was burnt to a crisp and dry as was the black pudding, the eggs, toast and beans were good though no complaints there, this place has potential to be very good just needs to up their game in the kitchen. Average score for a average breakfast

Pretty grim really. Food took ages to arrive and when it did the baked potato wasn't even cooked through, hard and cold in the middle.Honestly, the number of people in the catering industry who can't even do the simplest things..

I'm a regular at this little cafe in Bexhill, me and my partner can't stay away from the fresh bread and perfect sausages. However, I've begun to notice the chef and his inappropriate language. If the owner doesn't already know, the cafe carries sound quite well and most times I've been in now I will hear the young man swearing or pulling faces and it's really not pleasant when you're enjoying a meal.I will continue to be a regular, all the waitresses I've met have been very friendly and helpful but I decided to leave a comment about this problem

I popped into Sadies one lunchtime and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness, especially the tables which were spotless.There was a large choice on the menu ranging from all day breakfasts, grills and baguettes but I chose a jacket potato. A friendly waitress quickly took my order and a delicious potato arrived within minutes. It was piping hot and topped with cheese although other toppings were available. The bill was very reasonable and I will certainly be paying Sadies another visit.

Sadies is the place I generally head to during my weekday trips to Bexhill. The food is great...the portions are huge! Everything tastes fab and the young man that works front of house is a credit......Unfortunately visiting on a Saturday was a very different matter. I was left with a nasty taste in my mouth. The waiting staff (Two young females) were beyond rude, lazy and obviously thought that their mobiles were far more interesting then customers and more important the the Kitchen staff (who were running round like headless chickens trying to do everything) I was appalled. Tables were left cluttered with empty plates, whilst they compared god knows what on their phones. They obviously couldn't work independently of each other as they never left each others sides. It took quite some time for a table of customers to be noticed by them both and was only after they resorted to shouting and waiving for attention did they look up. As I said before, I've always enjoyed my visits to a great cafe that I could only rave about....until now. Never again will I enter there on a Saturday. Please do not employ those awful girls during the week....There are few places in the area that I like to go....Don't take Sadies away from me!

I popped in Saturday morning with the Mrs,The overall appearance was really good, although we had to ask for a our table to be cleaned, this was done however we was both sprayed with cleaning fluid as well as the table, not the end of the world but i personally dislike eating cleaning fluid prior to my breakfast...The food was as fine and cooked as we asked, my only real gripe would be when someone asks for scramble eggs it may worth telling them you only use one egg per portion as such i ate my breakfast in 2 mouthfuls...personally it was the smallest portion of scramble eggs i have ever seen in my life, shame as i was left disappointed. the whole breakfast came to £10.70. for that we had 2 rashers of bacon, 1 egg and a bowl of beans, 1 tea and a coffee plus 2 toast...in hindsight we could have ordered the largest set breakfast on the menu for half the price and twice the food! I would give them a second chance just beware when ordering single items from the menu :)

I'm quite picky about bread. Sadie's has proper crusty bread, perfect for mopping up fried egg yolk. I have had many breakfasts here and the eggs have always been perfectly done. Never too much fat used in cooking although the fried bread is amazing! Also the coffee and tea is very good. Staff have always been friendly and cheerful. Extra marks for smelling like a proper caff - I get hungry just walking past. They also do a fab veggie breakfast. Ps, the large breakfast is not something to be taken lightly. There is no shame in putting your fork down and walking away.

they use nice quality sausages and you get more than you expect on the plate, quality food and value for money, would.go there again.

Been to Sadies many times over the last couple of years. Always had good service by friendly staff and a tasty cooked breakfast But the last two or three visits!! Sadly gone downhill. Will not be going back.

Very good value. Nice size portions. Can request smaller size if required. Their Hunters Chicken is the best in town. We eat here at least twice a month and have never been disappointed.

Have visited a couple of times in the last month or so. Value for money is quite poor. On last visit we were told the chef couldn't do a poached egg...Best thing about this place is the coffee.

Always reliable, good value breakfasts - traditional is very generous, full farmhouse for the very brave only!

Third visit to Sadies when we go to Bexhill same quality and service had liver and bacon good portions well presented and mixed grill all good well worth a visit.

Great place for full English breakfast. Cooked very well & not run by youngsters with microwaves! Not greasy & not over priced.....I fact just right

After hearing fantastic reviews we called in there today for a quick snack to check out this 'hidden treasure', having walked passed it on numerous occasions. It was just before 1.00 p.m. Moments after sitting down a very friendly young chap took our order. We could then hear the 'chef' ranting & raving in the kitchen saying "you'd better stop taking orders until i've cleared the back-log" There were around 14 tables inside of which three were occupied ?? With this the 'chef' instructed the waiter to close the door, then marched through the cafe & posted a 'laminated' sign in the window saying 'apologies kitchen closed'. We counted 10 or more people / families walk up to the door and go elsewhere ... what we had was lovely & came so quickly ... but what was all that about ! To have a laminated sign indicates this wasn't the 1st time and in a town full of cafes, retaurants & pubs, I'm surprised they can affordf to turn business away !!

Haven't got anything to complain about here. Service was great, food was lovely and there is a nice private yard where we sat and ate our breakfast. Very reasonably priced.

Sadies fairly recently changed hands and is now in my opinion better than ever - they do a fabulous all day breakfast which I can't resist (one day I'll get round to trying the other items on the menu!) Friendly staff and good service at reasonable prices, right in the heart of Bexhill. The perfect cafe :-)

Quality food, large portions, excellent value for money, friendly staff, very good service. Visit regularly and never disappointed. Cafe could do with a lick of paint and brighten up, but overall I think it's a great value eatery!

There is lots of good food to choose from at sadies and the fry up is my recommendation. Proper decent sausages, thick cut bacon, door stop toast or fried bread! It's all gravy at sadies. If I had one complaint, it would be that they need a better extractor over the cooking area, cause you do come out smelling like a fry up.

went to the cafe for only the second time and the breakfast was tasty and really good value.the service is quick and friendly, i had the full english with coffee and juice and my wife choose individual items of the menu with the same drinks the bill was £13.30 cant complain at that will certainly be going again.

Sadie’s is such good value the food is always well cooked and large portions. Never had anything that I could say it was bad about. The staff very friendly and make you feel welcome The Steak or Gammon meal is fantastic. And they have a different special each day

An average cafe to pop into but not somewhere to take a special guest. The food is wholesome but the seating a little too close together.

We have been going to Sadie's for years. The food is excellent, always well presented and the portions are large. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Highly recommended - particularly the sausages and mash!

It was our first visit to this cafe. We enjoyed the food and service it was friendly and pleasent. I just wish that they sold wine but I suppose that one can bring their own bottle or two. Overall it was a good find and I have a feeling that I will be a regular to this place. Finally an English cafe with clean look and fresh food.

Opens early, 7 am even on Sundays basic layout to restaurant but clean. The staff are friendly and the service quick. They serve probably the best full English for miles around. Plus free wi fi .

This is a MUST if you are in Bexhill! Probably the best Breakfast in Town, if not Sussex! The menu is catered for eaters rather than light snacks, so no Panini here but there sandwiches are made with fresh bloomer bread. They also do good daily specials like Steak and Kidney Puddings to keep ‘us’ returning customers coming back.
