Got very busy very quick was great day nice staff

We had a bit of a wait at a busy lunch time on a weekend but the food was great when it arrived and the pub itself was very nice. Good outdoor play area for the kids though parts of it are a bit scruffy we would absolutely come again though.

Went in on a Friday evening, and even though it was busy staff was still polite an food was delicious. I had steak an chips with a side of chicken wings an it was all cooked to perfection. Even better that it's dog friendly, outside seating looked lovely with all the lights on at night time.

Despite the pub's potential for excellent customer service, the servers were rude and failed to create a welcoming atmosphere, leaving it feeling more like an unkempt and unwelcoming establishment. It’s shame since the garden and the location was absolutely beautiful. I shared feedback concerning both the wine quality and the room temperature issue with the served white wine. Regrettably, the staff exhibited a lackluster response, failing to address the concerns adequately. The quality of the food was subpar, bordering on barely edible, highlighting a lack of seriousness and commitment from the team toward providing satisfactory service.

Nice staff, nice selection of drinks (we shared a bottle of Rioja) and it was nice that the staff suggested buying a bottle as it was cheaper than getting 2 large glasses as planned. Plenty of seating and different types of seats available too I.e benches, arm chairs, and wooden chairs

Lovely pub, been going here for years. Nice staff, fair service, and delicious, good quality, and quite reasonably-priced food. Disappointing that the last twice I've been here they have run out of some menu items quite early on. I suggest before you decide what you want to eat, first ask what is available. Also, order your dessert at the same time as your mains, or when you go back to order it you might find that they have run out of what you'd like.

Good dog friendly pub ,took our dog there staff were fine met a few friends there ,no food option ,don't know why maybe cause of very hot weather and kitchen too hot to work in although mate asked if food was available to be told there was a gas leak ????????,asked if we could get some food delivered we were told no so no food.

What a star setting. Next to the river, a lovely old building which manages the subtle combination of history with modern touches with the outside TV. Great food, cooked and served quickly and in a fab location. We will back! Thanks, Andy.

Lovely setting, but we were told there was one and a half to two hours wait for food, and that was at 5.30 on a Thursday evening!

Great lunchtime menu at a brilliant price . Food excellent, service excellent, couldn't fault it . Highly recommend the hunters chicken, it is to die for. Warm and friendly atmosphere, staff kind and attentive. Cannot wait to go back .

I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of Vegan options on the menu. Good grub at a reasonable price , fast service, friendly staff. Nice atmosphere not a rowdy pub. We enjoyed it immensely and will be returning.

This is one of my favourite pubs. It is friendly, has lovely ales, excellent meals at fantastic prices, and a big free car park. The road outside is barely wide enough for 2 cars to pass, the road is a toll road, currently one end of the road is closed off, there is a sewage works virtually next door, and the service in the pub is quite slow. But I've been returning to this pub time and time again, and not been disappointed; whatever else it lacks, the friendliness, food quality, and in particular the food prices, make it all worth while.

Typical chain pub fare, nothing special but adequate for lunch. Food was quick, hot, and ok. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great friendly staff, food was good on Saturday, Sunday got there at half six to find amended kitchen time to 7pm last order. Tried to order before 7 to be told kitchen was shut, very poor in my eyes, that is not customer service

I’m not a fan of Greene King pubs, as I’ve always had bad guest experience in them. But Rye House wasn’t bad at all! We were served relatively quickly, and the drinks aren’t expensive compared to London. The decor fits the area well and the garden is huge. I’m a big fan of the small outside seating area with the heaters in the centre of the garden!

Decent prices, beautiful building, garden and location.

First impression was a bit scruffy and basic BUT once settled in with a drink and food proved to be perfect. 2 tasty lasagnes with decent side salads and garlic breads totalled £11.49 on one of the many deals available. Thank you.

We were a male group celebrating a friends baby's birth and this pub was ideal as it has many televisions showing football and other sports a pool table in a separate area. It is rather like a toby/bernie Inn and has separate booths to sit and eat with the usual pub food,it does have the advantage of a fantastic outside space with bench picnic tables with views of the river. There is plenty of parking and is a stones throw from Rye House railway Station.

Great pub, spacious, pub-like, garden or indoors, pool table, beer affordable at three quid a pint (2022) and reasonable food. Went with my brother and his wife we all agreed on a return visit which says it all.

I ordered the Quorn burger as I’m veggie and it’s the only option. It’s build your own burger.. but I was refused any topping that wasn’t vegan… The lady tried to proceed to tell me that you are not allowed to put non-vegan products on vegan burgers… Ive been a chef for 10 years so that’s a lie. but told I can buy it separately.. something that’s included. The refusal to just add a slice of cheese and an egg is amazing. Not forgetting the absolute safety hazard of the garden tables and chairs.
