If I could give zero I would but only to advise others as I never leave bad reviews. I asked if they had a particular item. Answer; No. . (Although on the menu and recently opened so maybe not baked yet) Okay, so asked for a bacon roll. I like my bacon well done but this would have given a lump of concrete a run for its money. The lad was so rude I asked if he was okay to which he just put the card machine in front of me to pay. Bank Holiday Monday, it wasn't busy, it had been open 30 minutes if that. Also handling cash and food without gloves is a big no. Without too much information, I was sick about 20 minutes after luckily. I will never go back here or recommend this place . Customer Service and hygiene and attitude.. zero

I made it my mission whilst on holiday in Cornwall, to have a traditional pasty every place we visited… There’s a lot of pasty shops in Newquay as you walk the streets but when you see this being the only one with a long queue to the door, you have to gamble on it being the best and it was. Rowe’s bakery in Newquay, had the best tasting And priced pasty of the week!

Zero Gluten Free Options. No pasties, cakes. Nothing. If you a gluten free member in your family, you won’t find any options for them here! Awful!

Firstly we was on holiday in Falmouth, decided to sit in the shop and have drink and sausage, gorgeous. They was that nice I ordered 4 large Cornish pasties and 20 sausage rolls. Delivery was quick, well packed and still frozen. I cannot thank them enough for the professional service. Definitely will be ordering again. Thank you

First Cornish Pasty of the holiday and absolutely lovely - proper pieces of meat and plenty of it. Lovely flavour. Really nice scone/clotted cream/jam in a box to takeaway - all napkins, knife etc supplied and all recyclable packaging. Very friendly and efficient staff.

We loved the cakes from here. My daughter had a chocolate doughnut, my husband had the apple and almond slice and I had the same as my husband and a rhubarb and cherry slice. Amazing cakes 💯% recommend! 🙂

We tried a few of the Cornish Bakers, but Rowe's was the best. Not too much dough and the filing was sooo good.

I’ve tasted various pasties in my visits to Cornwall and the Rowes Steak pasty is my favourite. Often I find there isn’t enough steak in the pasties but Rowes have got the balance right between veggies and meat. The pastry itself is tasty . The staff in the Newquay shop are friendly and welcoming! 5 star snack and service!

Lots of great vegan and vegetarian options. The manager in there is super helpful and advised me on them all and pointed out that they offer vegan milk for hot drinks which was a nice suprise as alot of pasty shops don't offer this. Coffee was great! I had the 'veggie power' pasty too which is awesome - feta, chilli and veg in it. The pastry is spot on - love the wheatmeal veg option too. I'll definitely be going back and highly recommend. Well done Rowes for maintaining high levels of customer service despite it being the height of the summer! Spot on!

The cornish pasties are so delicious we got them when they were quite fresh so the were very hot. The cheese and bacon pastie was also delicious and cheesy.

I would highly recommend Rowe’s Cornish Bakers I had asked in all shops if they sold gluten free pasty’s. Rowe’s Cornish Bakers ask you to call or pop in roughly 50minutes prior. I believe the non gluten free pasty’s are good too.

Never miss an opportunity to grab a steak slice - the perfect food thing - from Rowes. Always a delicious, satisfying morsel. Pasties are probably the best in Newquay town centre. Service is always friendly and welcoming and although the current restrictions means there’s usually a queue it’s well worth it and these guys handle the boring rules brilliantly. Top marks. Go here; eat their things.

We visit Newquay twice a year and go to the Rowe's Bakery several times while we're there. The pasties are always yummy 😋 and we love to try out the new things. I had a scrumptious cheese and onion pasty and the sicilian lemon muffins are to die for! The staff are always helpful and friendly. It's only a small shop but I felt perfectly safe with the covid restrictions they have in place. We will be back in September for our next fix!

We haven’t even tried the Cornish pasties but I am leaving a review on the disappointing experience we faced today. There was a Caucasian couple in the store ordering and waiting in the store for their pastries, we waited outside till we decided what we wanted, we entered the store to be told only one person from a ‘bubble’ can enter despite a white couple being in the store together. This is nothing but targeted racism. Hugely disappointed and sadden to experience this. May I also say this came from the store manager (white lady)

We're we're in need of a teatime snack and what better than a real Cornish Pasty. They'll warm it up for you too. Wander and find a bench overlooking the sea, what could be better.

Stopped off at Rowe’s while shopping in Truro for food to take home for tea. We chose medium Traditional Pasties which were worthy of the title “Award Winning “.

Cornish Pastry had to be tasted in Cornwall. The big queue outside the shop was justified as each crumb was delectable. It didn't receive the best pastry shop award for nothing.

In our week in Cornwall we visited twice to this bakery and also once in another town. The traditional pasties were beautiful so I’m told I’m a vegetarian and tried the veggie pastie which was very nice and another time the cheese and onion pastie which was amazing. Best pastries we’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait to go back to Cornwall and have them again.

I had a large Cornish pasty. It was great value because it was absolutely ginormous. It was full of flavour and Cornish authenticity.

I popped into Rowe’s Newquay and the store was very busy, the staff were so friendly and patient to all customers including me, I asked for a recommendation and the store manager Jess recommend a pasty and a couple of different sweet treats for me and a friend! The food was delicious and really reasonably priced. I would highly recommend to people visiting Newquay! Thanks again Jess!!

We stopped by the Rowe's when in the central Newquay after walking from Porth Island and decided to grab a bite to eat. The cheese and onion pasties are delicious and definitely worth a go and chocolate brownie is very indulgent. All in all a large pastie, chocolate brownie and bottle of water for £4.00.The venue is very clean with limited seating, but the food was fresh hot and delicious...couldn't ask for more!

The lovely, clean looking sign outside the shop created a trustworthy impression of the bakery before we had entered,( I find a good sign is very important). The traditional pasty I had contained a delicious filling with just the right amount of meat and vegetables. Furthermore, the pastry was baked to perfection and melted in your mouth. This was definitely the best pasty i have ever had. Moreover, there were several different types of pasties to chose from, with vegetarian options too. There were also different sizes to chose from for some of the pasties which i thought was very good. The friendly staff also contributed to the positive experience i had at Rowe's bakery and I would highly recommend it.

My wife and I were on Holiday 8-12 May 17, found this little bakery seating for about 8 inside popped in twice while we were there for tea and hot chocolate and Cornish pastie really tasty. My wife loved the hot chocolate and the pastie's were to die for, the place was spotless and the two lady's serving were lovely. This is a little gem of a place and well worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious haddock, medium chips, and gluten-free cod and chips. The skinless fish was beautifully cooked in a bubbly batter, and the generous portions of chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The staff were lovely, and the premises were clean. Our only disappointment, whilst we requested large fish, it transpired that only small or standard sizes are available. The fish, however, was rather small considering that it cost £9 alone (£12.50 with chips) so not great value & disappointing after a couple of days of looking forward to it. Aside from that, we recommend this establishment.

Really good food, in winter, you want to get here for opening and in the summer it is better to go later in the morning for Breakfast or after 1pm for lunch. Nice theming and friendly staff. Would recommend but be prepared for ling waits in the summer

Absolutely fantastic food from chef Dan! I'm vegan so we called ahead to make sure I'd have something to eat since there's nothing vegan on the menu and we were told the chef would come up with options, but I wasn't prepared for how much care would go into those options. He came to the table to talk to me about how he could convert things on the menu and came up with several options for me to cater to my specific likes (well really to avoid my dislike of mushrooms). The food was absolutely incredible, and my meat and fish eating companions thoroughly enjoyed theirs too. Best birthday dinner I've ever had I think! The other staff were also very friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. We appreciated all their help 💗

A lovely evening organised by the British Legion, sadly let down by the awful food and service. An hours wait to get our main meal, which was just about warm but burnt, and a further 35 minutes to get our desert. The service was slow, the food was burnt and inedible. All this for £25 a head. No thanks. Not going next year.
