To be clear I am not a fussy eater & especially when I am really hungry…… However, 4 people already complained whilst we were in there waiting….. When our food was served sadly most of it was either burnt or cold & undercooked. We both left over half of it as uneaten.

I’m an infrequent visitor to Rossi’s, but it has had a makeover and is now very modern and bright. Good menu with some vegetarian options. Staff friendly and helpful. A good cappuccino for £1.85 is typical of the reasonable pricing here.

We had a coffee stop whilst out on business and chose this place and it was a very good choice. Lots of food to choose from at very good prices. The full breakfasts that were arriving around us looked very inviting but we resisted and shared a piece of chocolate topped flapjack which was delicious. Really friendly ladies working there. Worth a visit.

Came in on Saturday 25 May for breakfast before a day's hiking. Two very amusing blonde ladies behind the counter. They were kind enough to ask whether I was visiting and about my walk, and they were banter stars. I mentioned I like to have eggs in the morning while hiking, but the breakfast with 3 eggs looked gargantuan, so I ordered the 3-egg omelette. It was breakfast time, so I was surprised to be asked if I wanted chips, but I thought "There's no law against it", so I said, "Go on then". Then I was asked if I wanted salad. I said, "I don't usually have salad for breakfast." She said, "There's always a first time." This was all a bit of a laugh, so I agreed to salad as well, picturing a harmless few strands of foliage. When the breakfast arrived I flat burst out laughing: it was absolutely gigantic, on an enormous oval plate big enough to carve a turkey on. "Is it all right?" said the lady. I said, laughing, "It's too big". The other one called out, "You'll work that off on your walk." But the loveliest touch was they'd laid a sliced boiled egg across the top of the copious salad, because I'd said I needed eggs. Well, I'm getting old but omelette and hard-boiled egg is a first for me. Plus a good pot of tea, this whole feast came to £7.00. I was being so well looked after that the lady even made sure I wasn't in any draught. So all hail to Rossi's cafe! Real people serving you made my visit into an event. Flexibility around the set meals listed. Great value. And no chance of going hungry in Rossi's. Epic.

The service is always so SLOW. Coffee tastes ok if you can be bothered to wait 20 minutes plus! We are thinking of using a different place for our Saturday coffee.

Great tasting pizza at affordable price. Buying from last 10 years, I have always ordered donner pizza as that's the best one they do.

Very nice food. Got the munch box and there was a decent amount in it. Kebab meat is fine a little dry maybe. The chicken wings and grilled chicken were very nice. Chips were good. Sauces nice as well just needed more.

Dried up, luke warm chips. Definitely not fresh. Cheese and Onion pie was disgusting. The pastry was soggy. My friend said his battered sausage tasted weird and smelt strange. Avoid this place.
