Very nice food. Got the munch box and there was a decent amount in it. Kebab meat is fine a little dry maybe. The chicken wings and grilled chicken were very nice. Chips were good. Sauces nice as well just needed more.

Very much the best Donner Tikka and Burgers, very nice Family run Restaurant and Takeaway, fabulous mixed box meal with all the trimmings, the korma sauce was beautiful, full of flavour our first visit and we will be back.

Order tonight 31/3/24 we got a 14inch meat feast pizza was barely warm. Also naan bread wasn’t even cooked mushy dough the onion Bahjis looked like pancakes and not hot. Won’t be ordering from here again very poor.

Placed an order at 21:53 tonight and was told it would be up to 50 minutes for delivery. I rang up at 23:25 to chaise up where our order was and no answer on the phone. I tried to ring again at 23:28 and still no answer and still no order delivered. Did even have the decency to ring and tell us they won't be able to deliver, instead the are ignoring the phone and they close in half a hour, jokes!!!!!

Ordered food online. Called after an hour to be told 10 mins away. Nearly 2hrs gone and no show. Stopped answering phone

Will never order from here again twice ordered from here n they have sent the wrong things then when I ring to tell them they have sent wrong things the man on the phone has an awful attitude and tries to tell me I’m wrong and that’s what I asked for n that he didn’t charge me for what I actually asked for when the price is no different to what they sent, delivery man didn’t have no change so they got extra anyway, don’t be cash only then not have change what an absolute waste of £26

Never had a problem with Spicy Kitchen. Food always arrives before expected and whether its a curry, pizza or kebab I've always really enjoyed it. Guys on the phone always helpful and delivery drivers very good.

Customer Service is shocking. Very rude. Asked for salad seperate to our food and was told "we don't do salad seprate".. what takeaway or restaurant doesn't provide separate salad?? Even if we got charged that wouldn't have mattered. 1 star.

Love the pizza and kababs here. The Currys unfortunately can be hit or miss depending on the chef, sometimes it's to die for, sometimes it more a tray of grease with a bit of curry in it.

My first order a few weeks ago was absolutely spot on, full of flavour, lovely spices & packed with a generous portion of meat .... my recent repeat order (Chicken Tikka Masala) was quite the opposite, it was lacking any spices, totally tasteless, and the portion sizes had definitely been reduced. My partner ordered the Mushroom Masala and immediately said it tastes watery and had no flavour at all …. Sadly you have now lost a customer, I will never place an order again !

Ordered chicken dopiazi, chips, garlic naan bread and samosas. The curry was tasty and good quality, the naan bread was fresh and fluffy, the samosas were large and had plenty of filling. Prices were reasonable and staff polite and friendly.

the food was awful the mushroom was raw and sauce was waterie like it was just 4% sauce and 96% tap water. overall just enjoyable and for you to pay to the portion is poor

I was a little apprehensive to order from this place as the reviews are terrible but the food was very nice and the only reason for on 4* is because the one thing I will agree with is that the delivery times are ridiculous and once you call questioning where your order is they stop answering your calls so I’d definitely need to decide if the food itself will be the deciding factor on if I should or shouldn’t order again.

I’ve used this takeaway for a few years and it’s been ok, not outstanding, but ok. However, recently visited for a curry and I was totally disgusted with the contents when I got home. Curry swimming in grease, tasteless and bland. Starters were inedible. I’m fact after a few mouthfuls the whole lot went in the bin. Sorry, last time I visit there. Also looks dirty and greasy.

Customer services is appalling. I’ve never ordered a curry from anywhere else in over 10 years. Ordered one tonight and mistakenly believed I was a curry short on delivery as nothing was labelled and all looked similar! I called and was told very rudely that there “were 4 curries delivered love”. I explained that nothing looked like a king prawn curry and again told very rudely “I’m telling you 4 curries were delivered love”. I said I’d double check and call back. On further inspection I was in fact incorrect and I phoned back to apologise. However, due to the way I was spoken to initially I will not order again. The “king prawn” Curry was rubbery and was more mini than king. It also arrived in 15 minutes instead of 45 which makes you question the quality. As someone who works in customer service and fully understands a customer can be wrong, please can you train your staff to speak to customers in the correct manner. A “I’m sorry but I’m pretty sure 4 curries were delivered, please could you go back again and check” Would have been acceptable. In sure during a pandemic you can afford to lose business. Shockingly bad service, the only decent thing was delivery was early. But the food itself was abysmal; biryani is the worst we've ever tasted, tasted like it had been reheated, dry and flavourless, smelt like grease and loaded with food colour. The mixed grill was mediocre but edible, unlike the chicken and mixed biryanis which both went in the bin. Customer service gets a huge zero, called up to request plastic spoons as we're staying at a hotel, guy was aggressive from the moment he answered and kept talking over me, seemed quite frustrated. Not sure why, but I hope you find a way out from whatever is stressing you out so much.

What i disgrace to idle village.horrible staff.ordered a simple pizza from just eat and it came sloppy,rang up and they passed the phone around every staff member to give me abuse,they are ok taking your money but the service is shocking

I have ate at all the local restaurants previous to eating here. The competition consists of much smaller portions with similar taste. I usually really enjoy a spicy curry, however I ordered a chicken Burma & the Mrs a Keema Korma which we both enjoyed. The Burma was intensely flavoursome (not really spicy though) and the the korma was “REALLY NICE!”. It’s a shame to see a place like this rated so low online, as we haven’t had a curry so cheap and so tasty in a while. I hope everyone in future has the same experience we were lucky enough to have with this take away! :)

They are useless! Ordered food wasn't what I ordered so I took it back and they refused a refund or to remake it so it cost me 10 pound for small chips!!

Love curry’s and certainly dont consider us hard to please, but my partner and my self ordered a couple of curry’s and well what can I say? Shocking is the best word!! Only hope that we don’t spend tomorrow on the toilet😔

Ordered from here last night was told 25 mins collection time which turned in to 50 mins and this morning me and my partner are throwing up both had same thing donner meat always used idle spicy kitchen but will defo avoid it in the near future 🤢🤢🤢🤢 wouldn't be giving it any stars but have to, to write the review.

Whilst the food was delivered within the promised 45 minutes, my dish was cold in parts, the chilli sauce was more like jam and not all of the order was delivered. I didn't bother to call them, as by the time the missing food would have been re-delivered everyone else would have finished eating. A little disappointing overall

Used many of times. I'm the sort that gets a good 1 I'll stick with. I'll also give chance after chance. Despite using 4 or more times a week they just keep getting worse. Chips dunked a hundred times, orders wrong despite always tipping the driver. Popodoms when wrong are like eating plastic, they can't get my order right. Shami kebabs like rubber, onion bhaji greasy. Don't get me wrong when they do get it right perfect and I'd order every time. However they get it wrong 2 many times. The 1 star is for when they get it right. I think they only order fresh and cook fresh once a week. Got a chicken curry was like it had been cooked several times it was dry and shredded not chunks of chicken. Meat curries are beautiful when they get it right (may be on the 1 day they order fresh) other wise tastes old and like chewing an old slipper. Coming from some one who spends £50 plus a week u have had 2 many chances even after saying please get my order right and u get it so wrong. Your menu is in the bin. But I doubt u care too much for your regulars seen as u can't remember who orders what from where asking for post code every time. I'll give credit to 1 person there only and he takes orders, cooks and delivers. Don't see him often but when he takes the orders things are done right. Shame I don't know his name but he's the only one who knows anything about loyalty, customer service and good food. Oh and the owner will only reply to good comments shows what their customer service is like

Excellent food, as always. No complaints in that department. However the only slight let-down was how the food was delivered. The two different curries could have benefited from being labelled so that we didn’t have to carry out ‘taste-tests’. Also the curries has leaked slightly over the chicken+chips and can of pop which was all in the same carrier bag

Unfortunately the curries were VERY disappointing. The prawn bhuna was brown & looked very like the keema bhuna. Both curries were swimming in grease & not very nice. We threw more away than we ate. Won’t be ordering from here again.

I do enjoy the food from here and I appreciate due to the weather conditions that there was going to b a delay in the delivery time which is why they added 30 minutes but then to be an additional 30 minutes late on top and not being informed of the additional delay isn't good service.

Complained whilst In the shop that my food was sat there for 10 mins and was going to be cold so they put in microwave with salad on. Chips were soggy. Curry sauce was nice but so watery would not recommend at all tbh and especially not for price they charged for mixed kebab very disappointed

I have been absolutely bombarded by spam texts by this company who have the cheek to then demand a charge to stop the texts. I have spoken to the website that you are directed to to get my number removed. They have now attempted this but I am still getting texts. I have now received over 15. When I rang to discuss this further with the takeaway directly, they hung up on me, twice and said that it's not their job to listen to me complain. I am absolutely disgusted. And the food is greasy, cold when delivered and late, which is why I stopped ordering from them in the first place.

The first time I’ve tried this place and the last I’m afraid to say. I came home with a craving for a Donner Calzone, hence trying this place. Fair enough the food was delivered on time, that’s the positive out of the way. The Calzone was under cooked to the point that the filling was “warm” not hot and the crust on the Calzone was still more like dough. Added to this the flavour was poor ie there wasn’t any. I should have sent it back and most days would have.

food was completely cold on arrival, partly due to the fact that the delivery person just stood at the gate in the rain for 5 minutes. After calling the restaurant to complain about our cold food we were told to “heat it up” ourselves as they are short staffed and unable (or unwilling) to do anything. Pretty sure it's not difficult to make a plain burger with no salad, sauce or cheese. My burger turned up with cheese on which was requested as plain as it gets, and my husbands calzone was flat cold. Not much we could do at midnight with the order. Honestly would not recommend this place if the food here was free. Will not be ordering from this place again, especially after my husband had to put the oven on to reheat his calzone and my burger was completely wrong.

Cold food. Forgot bottle of coke so had to come back. Paper bags food was wrapped in were soggy with dripping wet cold food inside. Wouldn't order from here again if it was free. Ordered at 8 was told 8.45 food came at 9.30. Terrible experience

Went to collect food as said was going to take over an hour to be delivered. When getting to the shop half my order was ready and half was not, 30 minutes later the rest was ready but the first half had been stood there for 30 minutes therefore asked to remake. Service was horrendous, they used microwaves to reheat orders and did not care that we had been waiting for 60 minutes for our food. When we finally got the food it was all luke warm and soggy (chips). First and last time I will ever order from here again!!

They advertise an offer of free donner on order over £17. I spent £20 but because I ordered a pizza meal deal (which if I’d have ordered separately would have been 10p cheaper anyway) they decided to not give me the donner. Would have ordered the donner separately if it was that much of a problem. Not happy.

Bad attitude from initial telephone contact. Meal was 30 minutes late and arrived cold. Contacted shop and told that they would replace the cold dishes but it would take 90 minutes. Considering that the bill was for £34, not satisfactory at all.
