Just been here for a coffee and cake. Fantastic place, very quaint. The garden centre seems to get bigger as you walk round and you have to try the scones and chocolate crunch. Brilliant place, recommended.

Beautiful garden centre with a lovely cafe. Delicious bacon sandwiches, fruit cake & coffee. Friendly service and large range of food options available on the menu. Never have I seen such a tidy, well laid out garden centre with healthy looking plants and trees. Well done to all the staff. ⭐️

What an amazing place, small but beautiful. The quality of the plants is superb and the range excellent. Everything is laid out well and signposted clearly Garden sundries are well thought out and the gift shop has some gorgeous things I have not seen elsewhere. We popped into the coffee shop and that was very pleasant too, the best latte I have had in a long time and at last the right temperature to drink. Staff were helpful and friendly. It’s clear great care and attention goes into the whole operation Best garden centre I have been to in years

Lovely find! Drinks and cakes were lovely - I would highly recommend the sticky ginger cake. Friendly staff that couldn’t do enough (including adding cream and marshmallows to my hot chocolate which my daughter forgot to order). Will call again.

"We don't have anywhere for things like that," was the response to asking if there was anywhere safe to park our bikes. It wasn't just what was said, but how it was said. Unhelpful, disappointing and short sighted. They missed out on a £50 sale plus future visits.

Met friends for lunch at ROW GS on a number of occsions - mid-distance between our homes. Food is good, service is good the only negative is the lack of heating in the upstairs eating area. Part of an old railway building but no excuse, there is a heater but ineffectual. Sooo cold, will come back but not until the summer. :)

I ordered a Bacon sandwich, it was awful. A small piece of bacon overcooked in cheap white plastic bread. Cost £4.99. My friend had a jacket potato with coronation chicken & salad price £4.99 which was quite nice she said. I bought some plants & the cashier was so rude,I asked could I have a box please. She said they are over there pointed behind us. Downright rude. I will not go back

My family ate at the restaurant before lockdown and always had good things to say. I purchased some garden plants today which were delivered expediently by a friendly delivery driver who placed the plants where requested. The service I received on the phone when ordering was exemplary. My family are looking forward to returning to the garden centre.

I am lucky enough to be local to Ross Garden Store. Not only do they have beautiful plants, but a really nice gift store in the old Engine Shed, but a lovely tea room with fresh home made cakes. They also have a food shop and good range of bird seed and a variety of feeders. Highly recommend a visit.

We called in as we travelled from England on our way to Wales but didn’t want to stop at the usual motor services. We had a lovely choice of quick lunch meals and the service was excellent. The toasted sandwiches were very tasty with lovely ingredients. There were also a choice of savoury scones which looked good and will be visiting again to taste them.

This is a well run, well laid out and well stocked Garden Centre with excellent choice of plants all of which seemed to be most healthy which, considering the time of year, is impressive. The staff were most friendly and the check-out was obviously a husband and wife team with attending young daughter (7 or 8) who was looking up plants and garden furniture on a laptop. With enjoyment, not under duress. The café was a revelation. Having been a professional chef and general "foodie" for 40 odd years I have never tasted a quiche or cheese scone which came anywhere near this in quality. Yes, it is "café food" but don't knock it! Definitely worth a visit. The prices of the plants were good too but that hardly mattered since it was such an enjoyable experience.

This was our first visit to this lovely garden centre. We began our visit by taking coffee and scones - really good. Different choices too, and I had apricot and almond which was really nice. The garden centre too, while smaller than many had lots of lovely well kept plants at reasonable prices. A lovely place to visit.

What a stroke of luck. We were on our way back from a murder night and saw the nursery. Great place with staff who have GREAT knowledge. We bought a tree for our newly refurbished front garden and were given all the do's and don'ts of how to plant it. We were so happy with the service, we are planning to go back in the autumn to get 2 more trees. What a wonderful place.

We were in the area and had been told about this garden centre, so decided to drop in. Aren't we glad we did. It isn't very big, but nicely laid out, and the gift section was very nice with some unusual giftware. We decided to visit the cafe, albeit very small there is seating upstairs. We had morning coffee, scone jam and butter. The staff were friendly, coffee very good and the scones were delicious. This garden centre and cafe us housed in an engine shed, and though it isn't big it is certainly well worth a visit.

Definately worth signing up (free) to join their Garden Store Club as this gets you special purchase opportunities. Cafe is a delight, as are the staff. Stongly advise you try the fresh made cheese scones or the cooked breakfast, both of which are first class. All set within the original GWR engine shed. Free parking too.

Used to frequent this place on a regular basis until a member of staff was very rude to us. The cafe we believe is good but also had a bad experience there with a very unfriendly member of staff. Pleasant surroundings outside, unfortunately the food was not too a very high standard. Ham and piccalilli sandwich, ham tasteless (wafer thin and breaded, supermarket family pack springs to mind). Should have been advertised as a Piccalilli sandwich, Coffee was fine.

I absolutely love being in this place and it has a beautifully calm feel. However I am totally astonished by the dolls-house size servings for lunch- at normal lunch prices. I almost asked them if they hadn’t accidentally given me a kiddie’s portion - for a cheaper price- as for over £9 I got two slices of delicious small rye toast, about 7 very small lettuce leaves, 4 olives and a small pot of delicious dip. All very tasty but absolutely not a main course. I know I these are locally sourced ingredients but this felt really wrong. I will definitely return for post lunch coffees but will make sure to eat somewhere else where I can fuel up for lunch before hand.
