We enjoyed a lovely lunch here which was tasty and very reasonably priced. My sandwich was £4 and drink just £1. The sandwich came with crisps and a salad and a small portion of an especially nice coleslaw. Well presented. A tempting display of cakes on offer which looked delicious and again very reasonably priced. Baked potatoes and toasted sandwiches also on offer. The garden area is very well done, very attractive and a nice place to sit. An added bonus is the clean and tidy thrift shop which is a pleasure to browse.

My friend and I visit Roses Tea room regularly for a spot of lunch , and afterwards a look around the superb charity shop which is there too, the food is incredibly well priced, great choice , and all home made ! we often have a toasted sandwich which comes with salad, homemade coleslaw and crisps , good hearty portions ! and if there is still room for more there is a lovely selection of homemade cakes. The charity shop is a pleasure to look around , very clean and tidy , clothes are all in size order neatly placed on rails , also lots of other bargains to be had around the rest of the shop . The volunteers in both the tea room and the charity shop are very welcoming , hard working and professional . We thoroughly enjoy our visit every single time .

Roses Tea shop is my favourite place for lunch or just tea and a piece of their mouth-watering, home made cakes. I like to take my friends and visitors there as they are always impressed by how nice it is. These ladies are all volunteers, raising monies for local concerns. They have balanced quality and price perfectly. They provide friendly service and, when possible, will try to get to know their customers. The food is top quality and they always encourage any criticisms. The environment is friendly, comfortable and bright. The outside space is just perfection with it's lounge seating and sun shades. It is child friendly and wheel chair accessible. It is also a community hub for locals to meet and keep up with local issues. I just wish I had more time to try more of their cakes. Nita

I had a lovely time yesterday at Roses Tea Rooms in Aylesham, I sat in the beautiful gardens where I met up with friends and enjoyed a delicious lunch of toasted cheese and onion sandwich served with salad, coleslaw and crisps followed by the best-ever bread pudding. Very reasonably priced and served by the attentive, hard-working, pleasant staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. And to top it off I had a wander in the thrift shop where I was greeted by my personal shopper (Cheryl) who helped me leave with a bargain dress and a smile on my face. If you are looking for a different place for lunch with the added bonus of potentially finding a bargain I thoroughly recommend a visit to this little gem in the Kent countryside.

The tea rooms have good options for lunch with amazing homemade cakes. The thrift shop is always full of good quality goodies. There is a welcoming community atmosphere throughout, and i found the prices to be more than reasonable. The volunteers are friendly and helpful, and go above and beyond to support the Aylesham community. The garden/outdoor seating area is always beautifully decorated, and indoors is cleaned to a high standard. It is evident that a lot of love and hard work goes into the running of Rose's. I have visited multiple times and will continue to return.

I love it here. Eat inside or out weather permitting. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of food, soups and cakes. I love the chicken and sweet corn sandwich. Prices are really cheap. They have a beautiful thrift store attached to the cafe and other little trinkets to buy as well. Great place to meet with friends.

Celebrated a family wedding anniversary at the tea room yesterday, the place is stunning but the buffet that the Lovely Mary and Eileen provided is out of this world. Cheese and tomato whirls are orgasmic!!!! Well done ladies and thank you, the tea rooms are lucky to have you both x x

We attended a birthday celebration recently and were very impressed with the lovely tea room. The ladies laid out a beautiful afternoon tea for us all. (I’m told very reasonably priced too). The food was fresh, very tasty and presented beautifully. There was a nice selection too. The decor was welcoming and clean. The ladies worked tirelessly to make the afternoon as wonderful as it was. Proper crockery was nice and lots of tea all round. Would definitely visit again. What a lovely place, just perfect for the birthday gettogether. Thank you!

Visited recently for a birthday. The ladies working went above and beyond good customer service. The food was fresh plentiful and all homemade. The tea rooms were very well decorated and clean. Far better than some 5 star afternoon tearoom I have visited and easily the most comfortable and welcoming Would highly recommend a visit

Two of us went for a late mid week lunch and had an enjoyable meal. I had the roast veg and brie panini which was very tasty and came with a nice side salad. My husband had the Cajun chicken which came with cauliflower gratin and potatoes. The staff were lovely.

Visited a couple of times recently and numerous times in the 60s to collect Season Tickets! The coffee is excellent and should make an independent close by look to it's laurels and with the local butcher almost opposite showcasing their bacon and sausages in the Panini I had at The Waiting Room, it's a win-win for both businesses. As the toilet gets more than a mention in reviews, it's a shame that it's been allowed to get shabby as a lot of thought (and money?) obviously was behind it, some of the grouting cleverly referencing the East Kent Road Car Company livery: please give it the care it deserves? Nonetheless I wouldn't hesitate to return, or recommend, as the effort to transform this Arts and Crafts gem, at last, was worth the wait. (D'you see what I did there?)

I'm a local and I have now had breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails at the village kitchen. Quality food and excellent service and it's always been friendly. I'm very pleased to have thus business in our village.

We recently spent a few nights at the adjacent campsite and went to The Grapevine for breakfast one morning. It was an excellent breakfast - possibly a little pricey but you don’t mind when you get a generous and tasty meal. Cosy little cafe which was very much appreciated on a rainy, windy morning and it also doubled up as a shop with essential items for campers.

We visit on a regular basis for Breakfast & Lunch, lovely service and quality of food and prices. That's why we go often!
