Revival Food & Mood in Canterbury

We first visited Revival last year during a Whitstable and just had to pop in again for lunch during a return visit. If you grew up in the 60s, you'll love it - and you probably will even if you weren't. The food is great, so is the atmos, and some of the money you spend benefits local charities. What could be better. I was so impressed, I've just ordered a t-shirt from their online shop as they didn't have my size in store on the day.

Wonderfully eclectic, delicious vegetarian food (wholesome, colourful, plentiful) but most importantly, the Customer Service goes above & beyond!

Wonderful welcome. Very friendly and happy staff. Helpful and awesome decor very retro! Great atmosphere. Very chilled.

Two of us went for coffee and cake mid week and were warmly welcomed. We sat in the peaceful garden and enjoyed the ginger cake and tiffin. I liked the ginger cake so much we bought some to take away. The interior is delightfully cheerful and colourful. If we lived locally we’d be regulars.

My mum just got back from this lovely little cafe raving about how friendly and great it is for those with children. Colouring to keep them occupied, welcoming staff, fantastic baby changing facilities, great atmosphere and so spotlessly clean. A varied menu with something for all tastes and budgets, shes already planning her return visit with little one next week! Thank you Revival 😍

This place is amazing. The food is great, the staff are lovely and the decor is divine. Always made to feel welcome, dogs are welcome too.

Fantastic vegetarian food - great portion size ! We had the Halloumi Gyros and it was totally delicious and had an authentic Greek flavour. What’s not to like about this cafe - lovely friendly staff, cokes food, delicious coffee and a great funky retro vibe 😎

What a lovely experience. We just so happened to bump into this place whilst working out where we should have breakfast. It is a feast on your visuals that’s for sure. The staff were great and so were the toilets! Good was good.

Perfect place to settle down with a drink and delicious food. First time visiting and won’t be the last. It was so nice to have a menu that you knew you could order whatever you liked from, as it was all veggie. and there was so much choice. We both had the pasta no meatballs, the portion size was generous and it was delicious, and filled me up the whole rest of the day. Would definitely be back for the food, but also for the friendly service and welcome we had. What a great vibe this place has, and doing so much to support mental health issues as well, highly commend. Oo and to top it off it was dog friendly!

We were fortunate to manage to bag a table for lunch, twice. Whitstable not the easiest place to be vege! Food and staff wonderful. Also a fantastic atmosphere. And dog friendly, what is not to love ??? Although everything was delicious, the ginger cake was beyond wondrous.

Had the Halloumi Gyros and my partner had the halloumi burger and was probably the best meals we have ever had!! Absolutely amazing! Lovely staff and beautiful setting! My 10month old had the carrot and cucumber slices with the houmous and he went mad for it!! Chai latte was devine and delicious coffee too. Will definitely be visiting again. 100% would reccomend

My second time at Revival and I cannot recommend more highly. Whitstable friend eats here regularly and suggested we go. The food was excellent, local produce, great veggie menu. The service was first class and, even though busy, food arrived freshly cooked and promptly. It's a lovely place to visit; the decor and the atmosphere. I would urge you give it a go.

A great spot for lunch,halloumi burger,mushrooms and spinach on toast and nachos are a few of the tasty plates i've had.A vegetarian cafe with a big heart and more space inside than you'd imagine. Staff are great,really upbeat and welcoming. Only issue was that I didn't like the fact that a halloumi gyros wrap had cold chips inside so I wouldn't order it again.

We had a great sunday lunch at Revival on Christmas eve. We were a group of 10 and were able to give our orders beforehand by email so the food arrived very promptly. Lovely to be welcomed with a personalised reservation sign, table decorations and mini-crackers. Staff were helpful and attentive and most importantly all the food was freshly cooked, hot and delicious! Looking forward to our next visit.

Always under staffed which leaves who is left. Uneasy and stressed looking. Whilst giving the best experience they can for the customer. This place is supposed to be a sanctuary for the homeless and people with mental health and to the able body. People who are in this position do not want to go Threw this kind of atmosphere!! The owners need to to take ownership of this probem! Or shut it down.. no one needs this!!!Not Good

Sunday roast. Mushroom Wellington with crispy roast potatoes and parsnips, butternut squash, peas, broccoli and yummy gravy. An excellent vegetarian roast in a wonderful friendly space. Thank you.

discovered this gem of a place for first time today. we sat in the window which was beautifully decked out with plants and a little water feature. It felt so peaceful. the waiting staff were so friendly and warm and our lunch was so tasty. the whole place is very tasteful and they are clearing doing some amazing work together with mind. I would highly recommend a visit.

What a gem of a place in the heart of Whitstable. The food was delicious. We enjoyed full and a mini Revival breakfast, great to have a smaller size for smaller appetites! Absolutely loved the decor and positivity of the place. The inspiration cards on each table, such a thoughtful touch. So much more than a cafe, with wellbeing at the core and threaded throughout it really did boost the mind, body and soul, as well as filling the tummy!

I love this place! I sometimes pop in on my own for coffee, with friends or, this time, with my children. Always a lovely welcome, a happy atmosphere and lovely food. This is a gem and we must look after it in our community.

We found this gem on a day trip to Whitstable. Funky vegetarian cafe with lots of great vegan options. Great decor, lovely, friendly staff & great food. As an added bonus the cafe supports mental health initiatives in the local community. Will definitely visit again.

Revival is a perfect place to have lunch. I had the Buddha Bowl, which was outrageously delicious. The food is fab, the decor delightful, the atmosphere amazing. I officially pronounce Revival the coolest cafe in Whitstable, if not the entire planet.

Lovely addition to the high street, cool vibe, good food and lovely staff. Had the scrambled egg on toast which was delicious but will definitely go back again to try more of the menu.

Cute little store with everything you can think of at a really great price. We bought some toys for our 2-yo daughter as well as found great books for 1 pound.
