This is my favourite Japanese restaurant. The staff is always friendly and the sushi is always well decorated. Dragon roll is always nicely prepared. I recently tried the albury salmon nigiri and it is very good.

We get this delivered once/month. The food is delicious, especially the Green Thai Curry. Regrettably sometimes the delivery takes forever. One time it took over an hour because the one delivery driver is all the way in Slough. This doesn't make sense to me. Surely Slough is outside their delivery area......we put up with it but will be looking for something else.

Spent long weekend with my 6 year old at Windsor. Convinced him to try a Japanese restaurant which isn’t Yo-sushi eventually. I really enjoyed my meal. The food was lovely. My boy also enjoyed his chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu. It was reasonably priced for the quality. The only one thing I wasn’t too happy with was that my son has nut allergy and when I told the waitress (who was lovely by the way) she said the restaurant couldn’t guarantee there was no nuts in the dishes as they use the same wok/frying pan for satay. Nut allergy being such a significant condition and certainly not uncommon, I find it hard to understand why they wouldn’t use a separate wok/frying pan to do their nut based dishes...

Called in on a very wet lunchtime in January. The host help us get our wet clothes near a hot radiation before taking our order. I had the sushi lunch, miso soup and assorted sushi. Excellent freshly prepared rolls, it took a few minutes to prepare but it was worth it. My companions salmon teriyaki wasn't as good she said, but it was still nice. While we sat there dozens of orders were phoned in and collected - must be good.

I have been to a next door's Japanese restaurant Misugo many times, and finally decided to try something new as this place has opened not so long ago. We went out for lunch, the place was empty, but then people started to pop in around 13.30. The menu has a lot of variety, we chose sushi and sashimi and some eel with rice for mains. The food came out quickly. Liked the dragon roll sushi. Tuna sashimi was very fresh and tender, but scallops did not impress though. We'll be back to try a few other mains we eyed from the menu.

Went for a family meal and had a range of dishes on offer, really authentic japanese cuisine with a range of thai and chinese offers too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the price wasn't too bad, definitely one to visit.

I have been here a few times and this is by far the best sushi in the area. Good service, fantastic food and good value for money.

Ate here with my work mates on Tuesday, we grabbed some Katsu Chicken and sticky rice, some seaweed, and a drink. Had some of the sauce/gravy on top of the chicken as well, tasted amazing!

Ichiban is one of the most best foods and it one of the special asian restaurants in windsor, I recommend eating and drinking at this restaurant with their find dining specialties. Ichiban is where I want to eat my Sushi and its authentic asian food.

Came here on a quiet Sunday night. The service was appalling - waited over 20 mins for our drinks to arrive after ordering (only two beers, which required only opening the bottle). We ordered the Ichiban Combo -sushi platter - it was mediocre; not bad but not great. Then, we ordered the chicken yaki soba and shredder chilli beef. The yaki soba was also ok, but the chilli beef was amazing. All in all, not a bad meal but not great.

We often get a takeaway delivered from Ichiban. The food choices are extensive, great tasting food and really good customer service.

We visited Ichiban to celebrate a friends Birthday. She chose the restaurant as one of her favourites in Windsor and we can see why now.

I live in Windsor and eat here every week or so; I (clearly) love it. And from the conversations I sometimes overhear, there seem to be quite a few “regulars” like me. I’ve also brought friends and family when they are visiting, and all have agreed and asked to go back again.

Tried to book online & asked for someone to confirm back but they didnt. We turned up anyway. The staff are not the best for customer service maybe due to translation. Menu choices included Asian fusion. Vegetarian options were disappointing and mostly were based on fried vegetable tempura. Unlikely to return
