Great service and food from two lovely ladies, quick service and well looked after by Sam and jess, fully loaded breakfast with some extras was plenty

Fabulous home cooked foods and great service. On hols in March and April. Had Mother's day roast that was spot on delicious, breakfast yesterday... again delicious and beef pie and lasagne just now that the kitchen brigade should be proud of. Won't forget the lemon meringue pie...simply sublime Highly recommend

Called in on spec for a look at the farm shop produce. Quality products - butchers department looked fabulous. We ended up having breakfast in the cafe which was a bonus. Staff all very friendly, efficient and helpful. We will be returning very soon to try out the lunch menu which looks equally as impressive as the breakfast menu.

The restaurant is a lovely place for home cooked food and locally sourced products, farm shop is an absolute find # great pies

Thank Brian “ the chef” for an amazing Sunday lunch we called in to the farm shop and seen the menu. Soooooo glad we did the food was perfectly cooked and the service was with a smile. Keep up the good work next time we are in the area we will visit again and be sure to book.

Disappointed , staff are pleasant enough but appear to be hard of hearing, asked for very well done bacon with my breakfast but received barely cooked. i can't see me visiting again

Visit for breakfast as a treat. Didn’t start well told we could have a table until 1215 but breakfast finished in 10 minutes so “ get a move on & order “ tbh at this point I nearly left. (1045 ) Our food arrived promptly & was ok although toast was under done & soggy. Sauce dumped on table with out a word. Really disappointed we felt uncomfortable & unwelcome by the plethora of staff marching about getting ready for lunch service. Won’t be returning.. £30 not well spent on 1 breakfast 1 mushroom on toast & 2 coffees!!!

We have been coming to the cafe all week, having breakfast one day and lunch the next. We cannot find any fault at all, amazing food but even more so the staff were so attentive, very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond ( overall fantastic!) We went for a family Sunday lunch. The food was superb. The beef was really good and the portions were more than reasonable. I could not criticise the cooking in any way. The staff were really friendly , checked more than once that everything was ok and the atmosphere was really relaxed in a lovely setting. With the standard of food and service it was also more than value for money.. I would not hesitate to return here. It is a lovely place with great staff and the Sunday lunch was as good as I have ever had.

A wonderful gem of a place - one of the best breakfasts on the East Coast and served up by the friendliest team you could ever hope to meet.

Amazing food, very fresh. Excellent customer service. All staff are lovely and friendly. We even got to meet martin the owner. Next year we would like to to see the chef flip a pig onto his shoulders. They even had friendly kids games and a lovely outside seating area.

Visited for a snack after being out and about in a Sunday morning. The bacon /sausage sandwiches were good but £27 was a bit steep for 3 butties, tea and a can of pop. A lot of reviews mention large portions, and that might be true of the cakes. I'm an ex cafe owner and I'm very aware of inflation but if my bacon butty is £7 I expect more bacon. I don't mind paying a little extra for some nice surroundings but the cafe is definitely let down by the flies, the decor and the lack of any atmosphere. Staff very attentive and service quick. Really nice welcome and they evidently think customer service is important. Farm shop is what it is, you don't like the prices you go elsewhere.

Our go to place for excellent food with lovely friendly staff. Always a delight to visit and try different items from the menu. The farm shop has a large range of locally produced foods.

Me and my girlfriend have heard about this cafe for a long time from friends and family and decided to check it out It was a beautiful set environment and and very nice we got sat down and both of us ordered a whole English breakfast that took 20 to 25 mins to arrive which in my books is very speed compared to other places and the staff were very kind and welcoming with young workers who worked exponentially hard The prices are of course slightly expensive with everything being from the farm it's self and very high quality and high in taste and texture 100% would recommend for anyone who loves a nice breakfast 👍

First visit to this farm cafe and I cannot see us returning. The reason we wouldn’t return is the astronomical prices !!! I understand food prices are at an all time high but £11 for a 3 egg omelette with salad is unbelievable. Mushrooms on toast £9 WOW 😲 Whoever is costing the food in this cafe needs to give their head a shake and come back down to earth. Presentation was good but not worth the money.

Slightly disappointed, have been a few times before and it’s always been very good, unfortunately the food wasn’t the hottest when it arrived (omelette) asked for mayonnaise and that took an age to arrive. The pork pie apparently was absolutely delicious tho! Some staff very attentive but again a couple just let the side down with not knowing how to deal with the public - as after we had eaten we went to have a look around the farm shop and we were abruptly asked what we were buying? When we stated we were just looking the lady just tutted and pushed herself pass us!

Food was excellent and served really promptly. Lots of food on the plates and kids couldn’t finish theirs. Chips are a big hit and my salad was gorgeous. Special mention to Sally and her team for their 5* service

We’ve visited for breakfast for the last 5 years whilst on holiday in the area. The food has always been good (and still is) but this time the staff appeared to be inattentive and indifferent. We sat for a while until we realised that we perhaps had to order at the counter (no where does it say this). Further confusion was created because they did come to the next table and took their order (evidently a local known to them). Another customer came to the counter too (having sat for much longer than us and complained). My son is Autistic and just wanted dry toast which arrived heavily buttered. The replacement arrived after we’d all finished. Shame, but it won’t be on our list next time we visit.

Came across this hidden gem on our way from Bridlington to Scarborough where we were staying.We had a latte,pot of tea for 1,a Scone with jam & cream,a piece of apple pie & cream,hubby said it was the best apple pie he has tasted & at 82 yrs old he's tasted a fair few.£15.85 very reasonable as portions were enormous.Great friendly staff too,always a bonus.Just a shame we live far side of York or you'd see a lot more of us.

Sunday Lunch was lovely, the lamb was so tender and juicy, plenty of veg and gravy, delicious yorkshie puddings, hubby had lamb bap with chips, he thoroughly enjoyed it too, worth every penny, highly recommend, we go regular and im a fussy eater.
