Delivery arrived over 45 minutes. We were told 3 times it was only 5 to 10 minutes away. The food was not hot ! Lamb Naga turned into chicken ! Biriyani was watery ! Naan like a crisp in the middle and like leather on the outside ! Given that the food was rubbish and the service even worse, I can thoroughly recommend that people AVOID this place.

Tried this place a few weeks ago at a friends house and actually enjoyed the food so thought we would order again this weekend, unfortunately we never got as far as receiving it due to an incredibly rude member of staff. We tried to order though their website at first however the payment process kept freezing so we called them instead, I wanted to double check first that my online order hadn’t gone through before I placed it again so explained the situation to the guy who answered the phone. After taking my postcode he read back a completely different postcode then screamed that ‘my order was on its way!’ I told him that wasn’t right and read it out again but he just continued to shout that my order was coming. I tried re confirm the situation to him but had the phone put down on me mid sentence! Unsurprisingly I didn’t call back and will never attempt to order from these guys again. I know they may have been busy but so speak to customers like that is inexcusable, especially when I was just tying to place an order.

I had my 1st takeaway from them last night, as recommended by a friend. I had 2 veggie dishes that identical cause. The veg was soggy and frozen and 1 dish was supposed to spinach in it but didn't. It was a horrible tasteless meal and I'll never go there again.

We have been ordering from Red Fort for a long time now. It is our go to Indian takeaway. The food is always cooked spot on and the price is very reasonable. Could not recommend this establishment enough.

I love having indian food, all the flavours exploding so amazingly, but when I went to this restaurant I was disappointed. The rice smelt pungent and made me gag. The naan were lukewarm and tasted a bit chewy in the middle, and had no butter at all on it. So dry it made me cough. The chicken curry was grim but the sauce was a bit watery and bland. I don’t recommend this restaurant for anyone with family or someone who enjoys a good, spiced meal. This is good for maybe someone who likes flavourless / bland curries (can’t take spice) or a quick meal after a night out, but it is expensive for such a mediocre takeaway.

Order was placed on line at 5pm to arrive at 6.15It arrived at 6pm all very tasty,fresh and hot.Poppadons,onion bhaji and lamb samosa with Lamb sagwala and Lamb Balti and Pilau rice.Very enjoyable and satisfying for our first order with Red Fort and will order again

Tried Red Fort for the first time, on the recommendation of a family member.Allow to preface this by saying I enjoy a curry, probably more than I should. I have eaten in many restaurants and ordered many deliveries. This was by far the most disappointing experience I have had with an Indian delivery.The Naan was soggy, the portions were too small (especially considering the price) and the madras was too mild. My partner could eat it the hottest she likes it is a balti. Overall I would not recommend Red Fort

Ordered a takeaway from here. It was very expensive (£46 for 2 curries with sides and poppadoms) but thankfully we had a £10 off voucher. It still worked out pricey but we thought "you get what you pay for" and would rather splash out a little to have a decent meal...Food was okay but nothing special and the chicken was chewy. We both had food poisoning the next day. Will not be having another takeaway from here.

Of all the good time eating food here (and there have been many good times!) I haven't written a review, so it's perhaps poor form of me to do so when there's a dip vs my expectations. Red Fort is a great Indian takeaway. Several of Leamington's numerous Indian eateries do seem to have a stock sauce/gravy, that's then altered slightly depending on the dish eg throw some tomatoes in and it's a balti etc. Red Fort's sauces all seem to be unique and do taste different. The Coriander Chicken dish I had over the weekend was perhaps the first in a long time I've not been overawed by - the last was a dish with picked items in which was not to my taste at all - as it was a little bit bland and only on occasion was there a hit of coriander. Rice and naan were excellent - the naan here is always a winner. The Spicy Lamb starter was delicious as always; I'm not one for starters when I go out to eat at Indian restaurants but cannot resist here with the takeaway. My wife's Tandoori Mixed Deluxe had 2 sheek kebabs in, but was missing the lamb tikka, so we can only assume that they'd run out of the lamb tikka and subbed it for a second sheek kebab. Problem is not telling us. I think we'd have been fine with this had there not been a significant price increase. I thought our order seemed quite expensive in comparison to previous times, so I compared to a previous email acknowledgement. In 2 months the same items came to almost £5 more - 2 starters, 2 mains, rice and naan. Other establishments have also seen a similar price hike, so I wonder if something else is at play here, but given the quality dipped, it's more noteworthy than it would have been

Im a big lover of Indian food and I’ve been desperate to find the best Indian since moving to Leamington. Red Fort is best by far. I’ve tried Saffron Gold (in Warwick), Voujon Bari, Paprika Club, and others too, which I forget the name of they were that average. Got a takeaway with a couple of mates who were visiting and we were all impressed with the food. I would highly recommend the Madras!

Always order online, collection in 20 mins. Top stuff. Great curry, nicely spiced - normally get poppadoms, chutneys and a bit of salad thrown in on the house. Ability to add veg and other bits to main courses is a nice touch. Great quality food, in your own home, without the hassle of cooking. Top marks.

Saturday treat curry, great all round,but the steadfast chicken madras perfect mouth watering,great takeaway and been using since it opened back in the day.

I've used this takeaway for 7yrs plus. On 1 occasion a while back the food arrived cold with items missing, I phoned up to try & get the problem rectified, they were far from helpful. Last week I spent £70 on takeaway on 2 separate nights. Tonight ive phoned to get a delivery, they've refused due to the problem 6mths ago which was their fault, i tried to explain it was their fault the delivery went wrong, again no reasoning with them, disgusting customer service

Used this take away many times and food away good. However this time for food was awful. Was luke warm and the main chicken shaslik was undercooked and clearly hadn't been marinated in any favouring

Ordered from here many times before and food has been great.Food was running 20 minutes late,which they notified me of and apologised for once delivered.Food was as good as normal,however rice was very watery and the chips were hardly cooked so I had to bin the majority,a shame but is still the best Indian restaurant I’ve ordered from.

The last couple of times the chicken has been like rubber. Won’t be using them again, which is a shame because it used to be top notch

Another fantastic takeaway from Red Fort! Nicely cooked, well presented and delivered within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. When I enquired by telephone (after placing the order online) about allergies (gluten in our case) the staff member I spoke to seemed quite knowledgeable and confident to discuss this issue.This is the next best thing to a meal out in a top class Indian restaurant! Give it a go!

We have had two Take Away meals from Red Fort over the last month.The best tasting Indian food we have ever had as the meals have been delivered really hot, very tasty with loads of flavour, and within the specified delivery time.Well done Red Fort we will be ordering again.

The food from Red Fort is usually very good. This time the food was a bit bland and there were no popadoms or onions which usually come with an order.

Really tasty & excellent quality

The meal was very over priced for what I received. Both prawn dishes had only 2 prawns in each and yet it was almost £5 each dish. The Lamb madras was just a lot of sauce and no meat or veg. It had a nice heat but really lacked any flavour. The prawn puri sauce was very tasty but lacked the prawn as mentioned. Onion bhaji’s were quite stodgy and solid which was a shame as they had a nice crisp outside.

We have had several takeaways from Red Fort and never been disappointed. Be warned, the main courses are very generous so for two people one main plus rice and a side to share would probably be sufficient. The quality and presentation is faultless and they generally arrive 15-20 minutes before the quoted time. The complimentary popadums and sauces are very welcome. Highly recommended!

The lamb in the Lamb tikka Bhuna was chewy and over cooked, and the Bhuna lacked flavour as did the garlic karma Naan. However my partner said she enjoyed her Naan and Tikka Masala.

felt let down this time, we understood they were busy and had to increase the time for delivery. But 20 mins laters then they said, and the driver give us some one else’s order. They quickly rectified the order, but it was still way over the time. The food was still hot when it arrived and didnt last long, food is the best we have tried in leamington. will still use and still recommend. just one note if they see this, ring the customer and tell them its going to be late. Dont wait for them to call you

So nice I reordered the same meal from Sunday for Monday. The food was again outstanding and the garlic nan were beautiful. It Was so satisfyingly filling I just wish I had left some for breakfast.x

Good value and tasty food that was delivered ahead of the predicted time (which we were very grateful for). We hadn't ordered from Red Fort before but will certainly try them again in the future. The only thing I probably won't have again is the cheese and chilli naan - it was good, but for me the amount of cheese was a bit much and it made the whole thing too heavy and filling. But the curries themselves were absolutely fine.

Excellent curry and rice. I ordered vegetable dansak and vegetable rice. At first I thought it was too saucy but it complimented the rice and was perfectly seasoned, my only criticism was the garlic nan just needed a couple more minutes cooking as the bread was ever so slightly under cooked. Will Be ordering again without hesitation

The food was nice. Not as hot (temperature and spices) as I was expecting. A 3 min blast in the microwave did the trick. Large portions which ended up serving two of us!! Good value for money.

The original time until delivery was 40 minutes, but then when the 40 minutes were up, the site updated to say the time had been extended by 20 minutes, and when that 20 minutes was up I called the restaurant and while they apologized, they didn't give any explanation and gave me the impression it should arrive any second, but it didn't. We had to wait another 15 minutes.

Very nice dishes freshly made. Cons: If you order more than one starter you only receive a tiny 1 onion pot & 1 mint sauce pot when you are meant to have this for each starter. They also forgot salad bag. There is hardly any keema in the keema naan and it's very dry. The puri which comes with some of the starters is pointless cos it's rubbery, unable to chew it as it is fried in oil then packed where the steam makes it rock hard by the time it gets to you. Also it says on the menu that the puri is a yoghurt bread which they used to do which was very nice, but it hasn't been changed on the menu to this ting hard inedible thing. Delivery was a long wait. The curries are very good & full of flavour which is why I re-order. I sometimes go to collect it saves waiting. If you order on their website you receive 10% discount which covers delivery & card fee on here.

Disappointing. Chose this restaurant because of all the good reviews, but this was very poor. The chicken in the dupiaza was undercooked. The dish was bland, greasy and luke warm. Pilau rice was ordered plain and arrived as vegetable. Samosas were floury and stodgy, not crispy as expected. The chicken starter was nice, cooked well and great flavour. Unfortunately this was the only enjoyable part of the meal.

Delivery was awesome. Starters, bread and rice where very nice but found the vegetable curries lacking in vegetables. Quite disappointing. I doubt that would have been the case had we ordered meat.
