Red Bar and Restaurant in Elmbridge

What a find! enjoyed our brunch today at Red Bar, food was tasty and plentiful. The staff were most welcoming and couldn’t do more for us. We will certainly be returning, thank you Red bar!

The cafe staff are always so welcoming and genuinely seem happy to see your return. I love my weekly visits to the cafe wether it be meeting a friend for coffee or for some delicious food. I can’t recommend the cafe enough with its warm atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. Thank you everyone at Red Cafe for making me feel so welcome.

Food was overpriced, cold and service was slow. I think something was said in passing joke and become very rude and suggested us to leave (even tho we was enjoy a joke with her ) We later apologised for any offence we may of caused and just got a blunt and sour reply. She’s in the wrong career if she struggles with people, being front of house.

Went to this bar with a friend and had a really nice time. The staff were so friendly and welcoming wich is hard to come across these days. The ladies rosey and daisy were so friendly and we’re genuinely nice. Most ladies in bars these days make you feel not welcome and creative a bad feel. Taylor and Layla were so efficient and made the experience when ordering our drinks pleasant and they had a attitude like they wanted to be at work and enjoyed it. Doormen we’re extremely friendly and polite from the first to last meeting and when I went outside to smoke during my visit. All above staff mentioned are a asset to your business.

Visited here for Brunch on Saturday. The waitresses were very polite and courteous. We were made very welcome and the food was plentiful and delicious. We had avocado and poached eggs and the Red burger with fries. The venue was decorated for Xmas and had a very warm welcoming atmosphere. Would highly recommend the food and will definitely be visiting for lunch again.

Bar staff very rude, absolutely no cares given about covid or cleanliness! Won’t be returning or recommending to anyone!

The bartender was absolutely cold and nasty to my guests and I; this is the first reason I will not return. Furthermore the whole restaurant smelled like all the employees were having sex with each other. The staff did a perfect job of making the whole experience rather traumatic, way to go Sienna.

I've always loved Red - a lot of good memories with friends and entertaining evenings. It's even better now they've introduced a breakfast and lunch menu. Dog friendly, fresh ingredients, and as always, friendly staff :) A great spot to decompress

We visited tonight for a few drinks with the intentions of eating. After waiting over fifteen minutes to be served ( there were 6 other customers in here total ) we were shocked to be served by a teenage waitress, who had no knowledge of your food menu or products you sold and seemed to care even less. We decided to pass on the food and ordered some cocktails which can only be described as tasting like pond water. Worst mojito I have ever had. The staff were all too busy sat together chatting at the front to be able to get their attention to even attempt to complain. We managed to get the bill and left. We won’t be coming back. Another once good bar in weybridge gone downhill.

My husband and I were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and staying in nearby hotel for a few days, to explore historic Surrey. We came across Red bar by chance & thought we'd pop in for a coffee. Karen was so welcoming & friendly and made us we feel so relaxed that we ended up staying for about 4 hours! The lunch light lunch was delicious , washed down with a couple of glasses of Prosseco ! My husband enjoyed his lunch too with his Peroni. We can't thank you enough Karen for making the morning/ Afternoon so special for us, quite spontaneously too! We live in Essex but will def make an other trip up again for a night out there. Sure it will be great fun!! All the best Nezi & Randal xx

The new owner Joe is lovely and he’s done a great job turning a decent bar and restaurant into an amazing one the decor is second to none and the drinks menu great. We will be back time and time again to this cool, funky bar

After reserving a table at my local wine bar on Saturday, not only was my area set up beautifully with birthday treats but the service was outstanding. It was a busy night but table service was on top form. Music was brilliant and we did not stop all night! One of my best birthday ever! thank you to the bar staff and manager :)

Popped in whilst out with friends for “one drink” and ended up staying the rest of the night. Great music, great atmosphere, reasonable priced drinks and a sore head the next day haha!

Generally not a friendly group of staff and everything is outrageously priced. Seem to be random rules for petty things

Had a random night out in Weybridge and ended up here not knowing anything about it. Got in and got a drink quite quickly considering how busy it was, they even had a late night DJ. Music was loud enough to dance to but not too loud you couldn't talk to your friends. Ended up talking to the manager of the venue who was lovely, even had a laugh with a few of the security staff. Me and my friends had a great night, Just wish it could have gone on longer as the bar shuts quite early.

I booked a table for my wife . Atmosphere was great, as was the music. I got some real brownie for booking this. If you want to plan a party, I would thoroughly recommend Reds. wife loved it She received a free bottle of bubbly,Dj was awesome so was the staff :)

Dreadful place! Management team very difficult to deal with. Food was disgusting and yes it was microwave food. Worst meal I’ve had. Music was terrible. Avoid avoid avoid.

I wanted to say thanks to the staff at Reds. I dont often do this, but I had such a fun time there recently, I had to say something. Cocktails and drinks were well priced and it had a fun, party atmosphere that lots of venues lack these days. We will definitely be back

We ended up in Reds after a late work meeting, we had a great time! The music was good fun, we had some food, which was great value and we didn’t leave until it closed! which is always a sign of a good night out . We will definitely be coming back!

Just what we needed. I had friends over from the States and they wanted to have a few drinks and a dance. Reds was prefect. Nothing too heavy and some really fun regulars.

I can honestly say that this was the worst evening out I've had in a very long time. To serve people frozen pre-prepared food is shocking! I really can't convey how poor it was, a Bernard Matthews frozen meal on a plate!. On top of that the Michael Buble tribute act didn't live up to expectations, at best he was a half decent singer, but not what I'd call a tribute act. And lets say nothing about their play list, if you've ever walked the isles in your local supermarket listening to their piped music you'll know what I mean! nothing there to really make you want to hit the dance floor! I won't be rushing back any time soon i'm sorry to say.

This restaurant is the Brussel Sprouts of the Christmas dinner, nobody likes them but eats it for substance or whenever thing else is gone.

Food at Reds Weybridge is hands down the worst place I've ever had the misfortune to experience. Frozen packet food being sold as supposedly restaurant quality. I encourage everyone to avoid eating or even coming here.‬

Went on a night out with a few friends from work on Saturday. It was fairly busy and had a nice atmosphere. We were served by a lovely girl named Lucy who was very chatty and friendly and served us quickly and made sure we had everything we wanted. We really enjoyed our night so thank you :)

Some girlfriends and I went to Red on Friday night for some catch up drinks, and can honestly say we had a great time. The service provided by Leanne and her team was great, didn't have to wait long for drinks even when the bar was extremely busy. The team looked after us and we will defiantly be coming back

The manager should fired. Never met such an obnoxious and rude woman. I could only compare her to lord Voldermort. She makes up and lies and if she doesn't like the look of you, throws you out or asks you to leave but can't come up with any valid reason. She even squares up to customers which is horrendous.

After arriving at this shambolic establishment at about 10.00pm on a Thursday and going straight in due to the lack of clientele, i had decided to order 4 Gin & Tonics for my 3 friends and I (one of whom was visiting from America and i hadn't seen for quite some time).

After my broken birthday at Cafe Rouge and the lady with glasses I think manager there,we decided to try Red and obviously much better.I was surprised because I know Red as bar and club but the staff looks much better than next door Cafe.This is very important for me if I can feel welcome.Thank you guys and good luck

We have been frequent visitors to Reds Bar in Weybridge and in the past the New Year party was quite good with a DJ and nibbles and a free glass of fizz

This bar is by far the Best in the West !!! Not only is the food to die for but after coming here for a few years now, I don't think I have experienced a better atmosphere! Music good and great place to get your dancing shoes out! Highly Recommend :)

I went to Red on Saturday night with a group of friends. We'd booked a table for ten for dinner at eight and we got there in time to catch the two for one cocktails offer. Reading some of the other reviews I can't believe I visited the same place.I passionately hate moaning but I'm afraid that in this case I have to. Dinner at Red was a total rip off. My wife and I got the sharing platter for about eighteen pounds which we were assured was well enough for two. It absolutely wasn't. Four pieces of cheap bread with tomato. Two stuffed mushrooms a handful of calimari (from someone with very small hands) and one (count them) piece of very thin Parma ham and no sign of the promised olives. That's eighteen quid very poorly spent.I also ordered a side of courgette fries for three pounds fifty five which finally arrived after we'd nearly finished the main. Two people in our party ordered the breaded chicken but were told there was only one portion left. At eight o'clock?!Another of our party ordered steak for over twenty pounds and got a very small piece of steak totally not as advertised or promised. Apparently the eating side of Red and the drinks side of Red are run as two separate businesses?!?! Whoever had that bright idea should choose another career quickly. The result was that our lovely waitress was working her socks off whilst a load of staff members were stood behind the bar doing absolutely nothing. After about twenty empty glasses had been left on our table for over an hour I got fed up and took some to the bar myself. It was only then that it occurred to the bar staff that clearing the table might actually be a good idea. Maybe if we had more space on the table we'd order more drinks. Just a thought.We justifiably complained and got two free bottles of prosecco and a sizeable chunk taken off the bill but this was a double birthday celebration and the food was a total sham and an absolute let down. There is a little bit of good news, the cocktails were nice and the dancing was fun but sadly my advice is that if you are hungry and fancy a night at Reds, eat at home first and don't waste your money.

Every year I come to red and reserve a table for me and my friends to celebrate my birthday and every year is better than the last! Always good music and we always have lots of fun! Drinks can be a little pricey and it doesn't get busy until late but a great night out!

We arrived at 7pm and had the 2-1 cocktails at happy hour which were great, followed by a lovely Italian meal and ended the night with a dance till 1am. Very good service from our waitresses. All in all a great night !

Quite a lively joint smelt like a gymnasium however we had a good laugh and did some free style boogaloo which is always good fun. Drink was flowing and people were happy

Had drinks and canapés here on Saturday 7th January for my birthday for 40 people. Food was fantastic, staff were great and venue and music perfect. Couldn't have wanted anything more...had the best night, thank you !

Had an absolutely fabulous evening watching the Abba tribute band. They were brilliant as were the staff, the drinks and the whole atmosphere. It was really good to see a bar so lively and buzzing. Will definitely visit again when I am next in Weybridge.

It is very welcoming and when we move will miss it especially our favourite bar lady who now greets us with it is your usual really makes us smile.

2-4-1 cocktails were lovely ! We had the new tapas menu with all kinds of nibbles and they were delicious. You could taste that everything was homemade and fresh. We will defiantly be coming back for another enjoyable evening :)

Went along with about 14 of us in total to watch the football, brilliant atmosphere and only £3 a pint while the game was on! Food was excellent just a pity about the football result.

Popped in at 6 on a Friday night.place was pretty busy for the time of day with after work drinkers and Ascot returners.good friendly atmosphere and great cocktails in the 2 for 1 happy hours but service was quite slow considering the number of staff working.

Think there are new owners, and although it was alway good, I notice renewed energy from the staff. There is a problem with the time it takes to get drinks after 10pm though. You literally wait for ages while 3 or so people attempt to pour drinks for a full floor. The chicken fajitas are great and recommended. Still give it five stars, hoping the speed of service gets addressed.

Always drove past this place thinking 'i wonder what it's like in there'? Well it was Tuesday evening and we were bored so we popped in. Nice place. Nice decor and bar, lots of James Bond themed pictures and movie stars etc. Quite glam in a trashy way but we enjoyed our drinks. It was pretty quiet but we sat outside mainly and watched the world go by.

What a fantastic place to go out. Me and the girls had an amazing time great food, great atmosphere, great music and amazing cocktails. Will definitely be going again soon x

If you want your night to be ruined by the horrible music,then this is the place to go. I've been to the red bar twice and each time music was very poor. Red's management needs to replace DJ pronto!

When we finally got to this busy bar the girl was slapdash with the alcohol pouring it anywhere but the glass. When my fiancée complained about this she asked him did he want to get removed by the bouncers. He was appalled. We are not kids making a nuisance of ourselves! To add insult to injury she short changed him by £3, putting this in her back pocket. Reds does well as there are limited places to go in Weybridge we are unlikely to go back and will go further afield to Esher in future.

Good bar, I love the cocktails, brilliant atmosphere on Saturday evening. Will recommend it, watch out for a male manager in ladies toilet.

Came here for a Christmas night out and had a great time; love the decor, the food was really good and great for a dance and a few drinks until 1am. The only downside is that our table was for 8pm so by the time we were eating our main course there were loads of drunk people spilling out from the bar area (one couple came and sat down right next to us!) which felt majorly weird, and the music was LOUD - I didn't finish as it just felt really uncomfortable tucking into your dinner with music blasting out and pissed people staggering around next to your table (although I was doing the same later) Think they need to make the dining area slightly more separate from the main bar - but for a lively night out its great.

Just to say a big ‘thank you’ to RED for a wonderful Staff Christmas Party event last night. It was a great evening enjoyed by all! And thank you very much too to all your staff who looked after us all so brilliantly. Please send our thanks in particular to George who oversaw the whole event and made sure that the whole evening ran so smoothly for us and amazed everyone with his cocktail making skills. There was an amazing atmosphere as always and that is why RED is always my first choice when going out in Weybridge.

The new management seem to have really turned Red around. This was a Friday night so it was buzzing anyway - but the Christmas food was really good and the service was brilliant. The cost wasn't nuts either. A great evening - thanks to all at Red

Red is a superb find! A very classy bar with great tapas and their Hanging Skewers are a must-have! Will keep going back if only to sample the rest of the menu. The Cocktails were great and the bar staff deliver them with smiles. The music is lively and all in all it made for a excellent evening!

A few years ago I'd visited this bar and it was buzzing, great atmosphere and food was good. booked to eat and there is nothing good I can say except when we complained the manager did his best to compensate us for the very bad service, food, wine, for which we appreciated.Sadly the average was mid 20s, the music - the DJ enjoyed it seemed but not many others and when asked to play something else, ignored the request. Having booked a hotel so we could enjoy a night out at what was a great bar, we were very, very disappointed as the standard has most definitely dropped. won't be visiting this again.

I visited here last week for my birthday and had an amazing time. Cocktails were superb and we both had the burger which was also great. Would highly recommend an evening out here!

Great cocktails - made full use of the happy hour - 2 for the price of 1 between 5pm and 8pm! Had a really lovely meal - agree with some other reviews regarding the portions being fairy small, although, to be honest it was just enough for us. The food quality was excellent and the service was great.

Had a meal here over the Easter Weekend. The portions were small ( took longer to read the description of the food than it did to eat it ) however, I cannot fault the quality and taste as they were both excellent. The staff were all friendly and very attentive to our needs.

Every time I go here I leave very happy indeed. Never seems busy and the staff are middle of the road but the atmosphere seems OK or is that because of who I am with and how much I have had to drink !!

The title pretty much sums up my experience of Bar Red. I am a regular visitor of this bar! It's got great nibbles or main meals to eat with a cocktail or two to line your stomach for the night ahead. The music in here is great, especially on a Friday! Cocktails are worth the money, they are strong and delicious! Great night out!

Four of us ate at Reds on Thursday 12th March at the Gary Barlow Tribute Evening. The three course menu was fantastic, the pork belly starter was just right, the pan fried lamb rump cooked perfectly and very tender and to finish the chocolate and peanut butter torte with a vanilla milkshake shot and doughnut was amazing!!! Then followed by a brilliant "Gary Barlow" who was brilliant. Roll on the next tribute evening.

Originally went just to eat, found the menu to be interesting - edamame beans for a starter was unusual but delicious. The burger was also tasty, and cooked to order. The cocktails are very good and service is excellent and attentive. We went back again, just to the bar and found it this time to be a slightly pretentious atmosphere but still nevertheless fun and a good night out. Prices for drinks are a little on the expensive side, but I think they want to attract a more upscale clientele. This is shown by men needing to wear shoes (not trainers), which is a little silly giving that places like Gong & Aqua bar at The Shard allow trainers.

Restaurant is strange combination between bar/dance/restaurant. Food was average, waiter was good and friendly. Overall not bad but also not spectacular. Average comes to mind.

I have been visiting Reds ever since it opened , i remember when the bar was in the middle and they had no restaurant to speak of , it has changed over the past few years along with the staff in the kitchen, I work and live in london as well as weybridge and its a hobby of mine to try many different places to eat , FINALLY you can get top quality ingredients fresh veg and meat cooked actually as you request instead of getting medium when you ordered medium rare !! The food i have to say is easily now the best quality and yet well priced in weybridge , they do a REAL Sunday roast that so many pubs try and fail miserably with !! The menu is well proportioned with enough choice but not a list as long as the arm to forget what they are good at . The slightly elevated cuisine than "just a pub" is good step up and well worth it , presentation is fabulous and the fresh ingredients shows through , from oysters on valentines to simple platters i honestly can not give the kitchen enough praise to have finally given weybridge a really good place to eat with enough choice to visit regularly without getting bored. Hats off and thank you for giving us a good place for a steak or fish dish whichever takes our fancy!.

Met up at RED bar and restaurant last night with friends - never been there before, despite passing by many times. Wow! What a great place! It wasn't a 'busy' night but the bar area to the front was in full swing with a large party (including Tiger Drew-Honey I believe) so as our party of 6 wanted to sit and chat over dinner, Joseph, the waiter ushered us into the rear restaurant area and immediately offered to turn DOWN the sound system! That alone impressed me as it meant that we could actually TALK (a long forgotten art in such establishments due to the incessant 'noise' they call background music!!!) rather than having to text each other across the table to communicate! The setting is really nice, well laid out, spacious and beautifully and tastefully decorated. There is a large bench seat around the room which was very comfortable, and if I had ANY complaints at all, I would (personally) say that the individual 'stools' that are there were too small for the larger persons bottom and were not particularly comfortable - felt like one was 'perched' rather than sitting BUT - that really was the only constructive observation I could make as the rest of the service, food and pleasure was 101% top notchOur table server, Joseph, was absolutely the business - top man. GREAT banter, terrific humour and a terrific 'mine host'. The evening was terrific but he really added the icing on the cake.Food was exceptional - Great flavours, tastes and impeccably cooked - I understand that the new chef is ex Chelsea Football team chef (?) so its no wonder the footballers look so fit! Choices included Butternut Squash Risotto / Belly pork with black pudding / Tomato soup for starters. Mains included 3 of RED’S BEEF BURGER with sweet cure bacon, smoked apple wood cheese, baby gem, tomato, onion with hand cut chips plus 2 dishes from the Specials menu. For desserts, we had RICH DARK CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER TORTE with a vanilla milkshake shot and custard doughnut and several STRAWBERRY AND BLACK PEPPER SPRING ROLLS with strawberry ice cream ALL of the dishes were piping hot, beautifully presented and extremely tastyThis was our first visit but DEFINITELY not our lastHighly recommended

We booked Red bar for our work Christmas party, and it was a great night out. The atmosphere and music were great (music requests taken). We were able to keep our booth for the duration of the night, which was great for taking a break from the dance floor! Everyone had a great time and we will definitley be returning!

We recently enjoyed our Christmas Party and from start to finish - the level of service & quality of staff were fanastic. We arrived early as we were having a cocktail making class, which is really great as it's something different for a party and the barman carrying out the course did a great job. The Christmas tables were sectioned off to the back of the venue and looked really lovely and the decor was great. The start & main were really yummy with an average pud - very attentive waiters and great service throughout our meal. We then got a reserved table in the bar area for the rest of the evening & enjoyed the DJ and the general vibe of the place. We were a mixed batch ranging from 30 - late 50's and fun was had by all!

Me and my team went for our Christmas do, the food was beautiful and the staff were excellent. Place has a great atmosphere. All round it was a great night!

We were there for our company's Christmas Party. The area was beautifully setup. Food was alright, service was good. The DJ started playing music from 9pm with all the right choices. Overall a lovely evening.

About 7 on a Friday night. Dozen or so people, mainly in the restaurant but the place soon got packed! Tom, our waiter was lovely - run off his feet but still managed to be attentive and friendly, a real pleasure! Only went for a drink but my friend hadn't eaten and ended up ordering the burger and hand cut chips while I had a side dish of crispy potatoes with onion and bacon, which came with a crème fraiche and sweet chilli dip - not sure that would work but it was divine! Wonderfully fresh home cooked food, lovely service and great atmosphere - what more could you ask for?

And I do not mean Information Technology. Everytime I visit Red Bar, I feel that I am underdressed and lacking the necessary libido needed to blend in. I'm not part of the crowd here, plus I'm not single, so I am therefore unlikely to truly fit in here. Drinks and food are pricy, but pretty good nonetheless. If you are single, trendy and monied...go for it. Really, you know it's right.

Food is amazing. Great and fair priced set menu, DELICIOUS evening menu. Huge choice of cocktails, snacks and beers.

The Sunday lunch was just perfect, such a friendly atmosphere can't do enough for you, I'm just looking forward to eating there at lunch time and evening too.

On Sunday a group of friends and I went to try to try Sunday lunch at Red Bar for the first time. The meal was delicious and service great. I didn't have a starter but wish I had when I tried a mouthful of the pulled pork ravioli, yummy! I chose roast beef which was tender and tasty with a good selection of vegetables and best yorkshire pud in a while! Amongst us we shared some desserts....I loved the apple crumble and the brownie with homemade honeycomb was to die for!All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thanks so much to the chef and staff!

We have been to Reds several times, and each time loved it. We loved it so much we had our Wedding reception there. The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble, the food was fantastic (catered for over 100 people) and the amount of positive feedback we had from our guests was incredible. If you like a really good cocktail, a party atmosphere, great music and exceptional customer service than i cannot recommend Reds highly enough for a great night out or for a special events venue.

Booked here whilst staying at Brooklands for my husbands birthday. Did not know what to expect, but was a great night, food was good although probably would not eat again there as the party atmosphere is too good, but it allowed us a table all night. Music was fab and we did not stop dancing. Would definitely go back and would recommend others. Service and staff were very nice.

Fabulous food by the new Chef, definitely will be going again! Very attentive staff with good knowledge of the new menu. The desserts were divine!

I have been to Red several times both for friends parties and booking it for corporate events. The food is creative and tasty, staff attentive and the cocktails exceptional - hence why I keep going back. The venue itself is welcoming and its scale allows it the right mix of giving it a great party atmosphere while feeling quite personal. Love it.

Red is one my favourite places for a great evening out. It always has a great atmosphere and the staff are amazing. Always courteous with a 5* service. Daniel who runs Red does an amazing job and it obviously rubs off on his team. The Cocktails are brilliant - and 2 for 1 before 8.00pm, even at weekends.
