Rajvoog Tandoori in Windsor and Maidenhead

Whilst the food was good like a previous review we waited for ages, over an hour for 4 dishes. Constantly had to try and get attention of waiting staff too which was incredibly frustrating, especially when they couldn't get our drinks order right. Unfortunately despite living local we won't return.

Sat down and waited … and waited … although the staff are very friendly and very engaging it’s very slow. One drink at a time so if there’s more than two of you at a table the drinks will take ages. Once you get your drinks the food then takes even longer. We decided to have our food as a takeaway as we’ve waited an hour and a half for it and we only had two hours on our parking. Once we got the food home, my butter chicken was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. It’s such a shame it could be an amazing place. It’s just attention to detail..

What we like about this restaurant is it showcases both Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. Being from India but with Bangladeshi heritage, I really enjoyed seeing popular Bengali dishes on the menu like Aloo Posto, crushed poppy seed with potatoes and Prawn Malai curry which are prawns cooked in a coconut sauce. The Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani and Shammi kebabs were both delicious. The staff made us feel very welcome. Their care and attention was much appreciated. We'll definitely dine there again.

Hands down the best indian food we have ever had. We always go out for a curry when we are away from home and the food here was superb.

Went with brothers for a catch up - what a gem of a place ! Great feel to the place great service and a cracking menu. I had the braised lamb shank which was sublime. My pet hate is heat and no flavour but this had just the right amount of heat with bags of flavour. Bravo to all !

Went with a family of 5 ( 2 x Vegan eaters, one 2 year old), really tasty food cooked to perfection, great variety of food too. Staff were great with our 2 year old also. Highly recommend. Price was fair worked out £25 Per Person.

Came here on Saturday night with friends, staff were welcoming and attentive, the food was very good indeed too - recommend the Karahi Trio main course, very tasty and plentiful in size. The only issue we had was the lack of atmosphere. We may have been a little early at 8.30 but there was only one other table in there when we arrived, who left soon after, leaving us as the only people in there!. It could have been because of the hot weather but I would have expected it to be a bit busier given its Tripadvisor status. That said, the food was excellent and I would come back here, ideally when busier.

It is by far the best Indian restaurant in Sunninghill / Sunningdale not only because of its homely food and an inviting atmosphere but it's the people, Munna Bhai and team that run this lovely restaurant. Bring someone from Old Delhi, India which is known as a mecca of good food, Rajbhog most certainly gives one the warmth and a positive vibe that one looks for. We look forward to our next visit soon, with some more friends and family. If you guys are in Ascot / Sunningdale looking for a charming vibe, Indian food and friendly warm service, Rajbhog is the place to be. Cheers.

We had an incredible experience at this Rajbhog restaurant! The food was delicious, full of rich flavors and authentic spices. Most importantly server Ronw made our visit special, He went above and beyond to make our five-year-old daughter feel welcome and comfortable. He engaged with her, patiently answered her questions, and even after the meal he brought complementary dessert for her. It's heartwarming to see such exceptional service and genuine kindness. We highly recommend this restaurant not only for its mouthwatering cuisine but also for its outstanding hospitality. A memorable dining experience for the whole family!

Tried a takeaway, shame we wanted delivery, Apparently, Thursday & Monday no delivery. No probs only a 5 min drive. Spot on timing....then told 10% discount as apology for no delivery. I was happy, until I got home and read the menu. All collection gets 10% discount. So....on the whole the food was okay, the only exception the Khari Trio, no spice, soggy meat. Nevermind, 4/5 will do.

Another excellent night out for the Berks County FC players relaxing on a night off over Easter. Great setting and again excellent food and service making it a great night after going racing at Ascot.

What a fabulous experience. My wife who is Indian, has been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant to eat at in the local area for years now. Outside of Southall or hounslow, Rajbhoog is the best Indian restaurant, our go to for India used to be "The Tigar Pad" (if you know.... You know 😉) Rajbhoog is our new favourite Indian restaurant. The food was beautifully spiced and delicious, hot and perfectly presented. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (A BIG BIG shout out to Riyadh who made our experience extra extra special, thank you so much! . Perfect food and service, we will be back! 😁

Superb early dinner this evening! Our 6yr old Son loved his chicken korma. Staff very friendly and made a major effort with our Son. Food was delicious! Tikka nann was amazing. I’ve been eating here for 30yrs on / off, so pleased we re-discovered it. This will now become our regular!

We went to the Rajbhoog last night for an impromptu meal and I have to stay, it was absolutely delightful! All of the food was so clean fresh and flavoursome and all cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of spice. The staff were absolutely lovely and really went out of their way to accommodate a couple of off menu requests. And the Irish coffees were marvellous! Proper floater coffees and not the whipped cream cheat versions you often see nowadays. It really was a stand out India meal for us all! I’m looking forward to going back and I highly recommend you give it a whirl if you haven’t already. Thank you! From four very happy customers!

Ate here for my family member's birthday, had beautiful food that tasted incredible, and really friendly staff who were very welcoming. I recommend eating there as it is an amazing restraunt.

John and i are Indian food enthusiasts and we randomly picked this restaurant today. We were greeted by Roy who was kind enough to recommend special dishes that were not on the menu (chicken chaat and chicken tikka Karahi) which were both excellent. We also really enjoyed the lamb shank which was tender, beautifully spiced and delicious. Don't forget to ask for Mango Lassi! All in all this is a must go restaurant if you are in the area.

I have to be honest, that was the best meal that I had ever had. The poppodums were absolutely my favourite. I loved the food. The decor was good. Overall, it wasn't expensive at all. I'm impressed. Well done Rajvoog!! My family loved it too.

I am a big fan of indian restaurants and there are plenty in the area - I've probably been to them all, including ones around the country and abroad.Rajvoog in Sunninghill is the best one I've ever been to. I ALWAYS go to Rajvoog whenever me, work friends or whoever want a good, hearty, flavoursome curry that fills you up.Excellent service, lovely kind waiters, quick service, clean restaurant and kitchens.Ignore the stupid comments from people saying its a 'poor' rating (clearly wannabe food critics), its fantastic and isnt too smart and isnt too casual. Great price as well. - The chicken tikka masala is out of this world.

Food in here tastes about as good as a decent Sharwoods sauce - so not bad, but not restaurant quality. Large portions, good service, but overall just OK
