Decent Indians. Service was quite slow and garlic naan was very plain and dry barely any garlic in it at all. Came to £40pp for appetisers, curry then naan chips and rice all being shared.

Bit disappointed with this restaurant. This is the second time of ordering after being told by friends it was amazing… it’s not. I gave them another go after the first order was completely tasteless but this order was also as bland as wallpaper paste. I had the butter chicken which was completely tasteless. It’s supposed to have tandoori chicken but it really didn’t taste like it was at all. The almonds had zero taste which suggests they’re old or hadn’t been toasted? I won’t be ordering again.

Amazing food. Definitely order from here if you do not care whatsoever about the time they consider delivering it. This was used for a takeout and after being told 45-60 mins I stupidly give them the benefit of the doubt and rang them asking where it was 20 mins after the promised hour. They told me to give them another 15-20 mins as they’d make me a fresh one… 50 mins later with no calls or food. knowing I had chose the wrong place to make my night I rang again to ask why post delivery menus if they don’t deliver. No apology just asked to give them more of my time to wait for another 10 mins. It’s never the delivery persons fault but again no apology for keeping us waiting over 2.5 hours from initial call. Service doesn’t deserve a second chance. Awful service when you expect your order

Group of us attended at a works event. Food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. could not fault it. You know when it's fresh and cooked right..impressed.

The food is always hot fresh and delicious my only complaint is the chicken tikka Nan wrap order is always wrong, sometimes it’s with salad sometimes chips this week it was with some sort of bhaji inside the wrap despite every time we stare chicken tikka and chips no salad but if that’s all they get wrong 😑

Lovely night celebrating the birthday, hussain was so attentive and polite which made our experience even better. Food was delicious, and will definitely be back for more!

The donner meat was on the naan and was so greasy it ruined the naan. The "curry" sauce with the munch box was massala, its not even remotely a curry sauce and would be the last choice of most curry eaters

Over an hour late then poor quality, chicken tikka ???? Two bits of chicken, really poor

Haven’t had Indian takeaway for over a year as couldn’t find a good one. This one was delicious. Every dish was lovely but the chicken korma was fresh and light - a real old school classic. I will definitely be returning. Well done Raj Bari.

menu has limited choice (plain chicken curry) no onion salad option no mint sauce option, etc asked the restaurant on notes to send some, which they blanked. Apart from that, it's not too bad, average . it's the customer service and reading your order comments that makes you better from the rest.

Small Indian restaurant on the Chapel House estate This is a welcome addition to the area Food is very good in nice surroundings we have always found the service good and there is good choice on the menu The opening of the micro pub Bear and Barrel has complimented both venues and they are much needed new businesses on the estate

Never had a bad meal. No matter what meat you have it's always tender. Chilli chicken tikka massala is gorgeous 😍😍 they will make any dish as hot or mild as you'd like. Vegetable pilau is beautiful too! The chapatis are massive and really fresh. Can't wait for my next curry. Chicken tikka madras is tasty and the lamb balti is wonderful.

First time here but definitely won't be the last. Really beautiful food and the staff are very nice and friendly 😊

Quickly showed to our reserved table given drinks menu. Then waited & waited. Not all drinks available. Asked on several occasions for individual bills. We sat 30-40 mins waiting for food menu! Pickle trays & poppadoms placed on both tables no mention of cost or who wanted them. Charged at £2 a person if you ate or not. Ordered food waited 90 minutes! Wanted to leave but were told it was on way! No air con supper slow staff. Ordered garlic nan which was plain? Waiter sniffed basket & insisted it was garlic! Shocking customer service. Mint dip arrived 10 min after tikka was banged on table. Promised 10% off bill. Sorry but £200 down to £190 is not 10%! 8 of us will never return.

Fell on deaf ears. Will not return a good night spoilt.

ordered online I was given attached when my order was toooo late. do not order the butter chicken because it's not what you think it is. coconut is in everything! I felt like i was eating a bounty. never never again even if it was free customer service guys !!

Ordered on Uber Eats and waited an hour and a half, requested an update through the app 3 times and was ignored, only to then call and be told that they were not going to do the order as we were too far away. Fair enough but someone should have cancelled the order! Staff were unhelpful and communication is shocking. Quick enough to take your money and not tell you they are not going to deliver your food, AVOID AVOID if you are hungry and want to guarantee your food will turn up.

Awful takeaway tonight. So unbelievabley bland for both starter and main meal. Won't be going back in a hurry. Couldn't recommend it

1st time we've had food/ takeaway from here and was not disappointed, we asked for our curry extra spicy. All our food we ordered was well cooked and very tasty. We will definitely be getting our indians from here next time.

Visited restaurant on Sunday 14th august for my nieces birthday, food was delicious, service was spot on, we all had a great night. Thankyou so much.

We ordered the munch box, with extra nan and popadoms and I have to say the chips, nan, popadoms chicken and masala sauce were lovely but dear god the donor meat was disgusting it was clearly cheap frozen meat covered in tikka spices. It was revolting, the whole lot went in bin. I will never order that again, such a shame as the Indian food was worth going back for!

Had a takeaway from here a couple of times and we have enjoyed. After sampling the new micro pub next door we decided to eat in . The place is immaculate and we were welcomed by lovely staff. The menu is fantastic - we made a mistake of sharing a Mumbai street platter starter which was so good but big !! I had chicken tikka with salad for main and my partner was recommended a curry which he said was outstanding . Topped off with popadoms and pickles , lovely fresh chapatis and cobra on draft. It was safe to say we rolled home …..with a doggy bag .. we will most certainly be back. 👍

Went on just-eat saw delivery time was between 35-50 minutes. Contacted them directly to save their costs via the app. 1 hour and 20 mins later it still wasn’t here. Contacted the restaurant and they said I was “scummy” for cancelling my order as it still hadn’t arrived. Then they said “your behaviour is scummy you man”, so apparently I’ve changed gender. It’s a Wednesday night, it’s not busy. So no curry and wholly poor customer service. I gave them an opportunity to discount for the delay. Outright no. Don’t order!

Great food, i ordered a Tandoori mix kebab to start and Mutton mangsho for mains. My partner had a delhi korhi. Absolutely fantastic grub. Can't fault it..

By delivering the correct order in a decent time, ordered and received food over an hour late and the food was cold and the order incorrect, we rang and complained, were told we could have the food replaced but it would be another hour, having to get up early i needed to go to bed. The manager came on and being very rude and aggressive eventually said we could have our money back if we came to the restaurant which my partner did, the staff said under no circumstances would we get our money back and came together in a very intimidating manner, my partner left because he felt like violence was brewing.

This is local fir us, so handy to walk to. The food is very good. Piping hot and great flavours. I would have given five stars had it not been for their extortionate drinks prices. Need to rethink their pricing before they lose customers to another local Indians where you can bring your own!

Food was delicious, service was fantastic, atmosphere was fab, service was great, staff where lovely. Establishment was immaculate.

We came here as a family of 6 as a post Christmas treat and it really was just that! The curries are fresh, authentic and cater for all tastes, from the usual favorites (mild) to my incredible super tasty spicy choice, think it was the nearest thing to the 'staff/house curry' on the menu. Portions are generous and the friendly owner was happy for me to box up my leftovers for a takeaway treat for the following evening! I cannot recommend more highly this local gem and not just for a takeaway. If only i twas local to me.

Ordered at 7pm, arrived at 9pm freezing cold and leaking, the bag soaked through with grease. Each time we rang they said the order was five minutes away and when it arrived we had no apologies from the driver. Do not order from this place.

Went tonight with the family and I have to say the service food and atmosphere was amazing can 100 % recommend thanks to all the staff for making our evening a great one

Please do not order it from this place. The food is average. They never deliver on time. At times they make stories about delayed delivery and give false promises and goes on to cancel the order later on. There are more Indian takeaways so please use them. I sincerely hope that they go out of business because they deserve it.

Tried a takeaway from here for the 1st time, and it was superb. The food arrived within 60 minutes and it was piping hot. The quality of the curries couldn’t be faulted. Beautiful tender meat in lovely spices and no grease. Probably one of the best Indian meals I’ve had.

We Have been to to raj Bari a number of times now, and every time it has been great, food gorgeous staff go above and beyond to help. Great place would definitely recommend.

Little expensive in comparison to others, but the food is fantastic.

Reluctant to write this review, recommended by daughter so gave a takeaway a try, the food was first class and very good portions, the Lamb Dupiaza was tender not like other takeaways. Chicken Tikka Balti equally as good. Why reluctant, this is a new venture and once word gets around may be hard to get a reservation in the restaurant or have a longer wait for a takeaway.

Been here a few times now with different friend always fantastic food .

We have had a few take away’s from here and they have all been lovely, however we decided to have a meal in the restaurant last weekend for my mother’s birthday. I can’t rate them highly enough. Food was amazing and excellent service. We will definitely be back.

Just waited 2 hours for 2 munchy boxes food was good but delivery and customer service from shop was ridiculous driver was the most rudest man I've met and u forgot my chips and food was a little cold not ordering again shame as this would have been excellent if ordered on time and hot

Arrived a little later than planned but it is a bank holiday and they were busy. No wonder! It was our first order and my god was it good. Absolutely delicious. I'm giving 5 stars because we can all be a little late at times - it's not the end of the world and the guy I spoke to was very friendly plus the driver was ace. The food? If I could give more than 5 stars I would. It was the equivalent of top restaurant food in our home. Absolutely fantastic.

After a disappointing meal last week we complained and the restaurant kindly offered to rectify the issue fully. Ordered the same meal again tonight and all I can say is WOW! Absolutely delicious, spot on and best curry we've all had in a long time. We were all commenting whilst eating on how nice it was. Had our first takeaway meal from here tonight. Arrived on time, was nice and hot (temperature) and was lovely. Generous portions. I would definately try them again and look forward to having a meal in their restaurant. Thank you for a beautiful meal.

I ordered some mushroom pilau rice with my curry and it will delicious it came on time and when it turned up it was piping hot and the restaurant recommended this rice with my curry thanks

Ordered from here a few times and have always had a great service from them, staff are very friendly, excellent customer service, food is always delivered within the time frame they say, which is always tasty and Raj Bari are excellent value for money

After trying to phone for half an hour I eventually got through somebody answered and then put me on hold for 2 minutes the food arrived one-and-a-half hours later and it was lukewarm I ordered a garlic naan bread with cheese well done with extra garlic it was the size of a tea plate barely any garlic and nemic cheese had not even melted I hat to reheat everything garlic rice was nice curry was ok but not as hot as stated in the menu and £2.50 for delivery was steep as I live less than a mile away with this being a new take away I thought I would give it a go but never again I will stick to my normal Indian takeaway very disappointed
