as usual it was really good food.

Very sad that after lots of fabulous meals I had one delivered that had curdled. Delivery is so fast, they didn't have time to prep it properly. This has only happened twice but I rang to tell them. My next order was terrible! I thought it was because of my comments but maybe it was the wrong dish? I contacted them to ask but never heard back so I'm trying another restaurant now. They didn't assuage much feeling that it was a response to my feedback.

Excellent food as always. Tandoori mixed grill main was smaller than expected, but hot and tasty.

Waited 2 hours for the food when it was an hour wait when we ordered m, absolute disgrace

Food was due between 8-8.20pm. I called at 8.25pm. Was told food left 25 mins ago for delivery (I live 10 minutes from the restaurant) called again at 9pm to be told food was in a bag ready to be delivered. Then arrived at 9.10. Poor customer service. Didn’t offer any thing complimentary or a part refund. Even though food is nice I would t order again due to awful delivery times

1st time I ordered a Chicken Biryani from Qumin tonight. Was absolutely delicious, Deffo having that again.

Pre ordered on just eat and managed to pick up 20 mins after opening! Food was great as always. Hot, flavoursome and fresh.

Qumin has been consistent in the quality over a long period of time. We have tried other Indian Food "take aways" but always return to Qumin. Highly recommended.

Food today was 10/10 as always. Delicious flavours and always arrives hot and fresh. Qumin is by far our favourite Indian in Reading, wish we could give it more than 5 stars!

Fantastic Pathia and Tikka Massala. The spinach is fab too. Whole meal great and delivered quickly.

I ordered a family meal for delivery, after 90 minutes it hadn't arrived so I called and was told the driver was 2 minutes away. After 20 more minutes and still no food, I called again and was told the driver was round the corner, 10 more minutes and still no sign and now over 2 hours since we ordered our food and made a third call and was told the driver was definitely close however, it was still another 10 minutes before it would arrive. No apology at all and to top it off when our food arrived, all the labels were correct but the contents did not match what was inside. Starving hungry we just ate what we got but not what we has paid for. Terrible service and the food was poor too. Won't be a returning customer and will advise others to avoid. An apology or actually a partial refund would have been a start.

Hot, flavourful, and value for money.

Order regularly from Qumin. Their food is really excellent. The curries are not overly sweet nor oily. The hotter items are well balanced. Favourite dish is the Jalfrezi with its chilli’s.

So the food as usual was great. I want to state that. The issue is that there were 3 popadums missing. We ordered 6. We received 3. Suspecting a mistake I immediately contacted just eat asking for a refund and sat down to eat what was left of our takeaway. Then 90 minutes later Just eat come back and say I need to provide photographic evidence of 3 missing popadums. Seems they we’re expecting me to wait 90 minutes to eat my takeaway. Absolutely ridiculous. So to the takeaway I absolutely understand it’s probably a mistake. I just asked for a refund of what was missing. It’s a shame this experience probably with Just Eat means I won’t order from you again (I have ordered from you at-least 10 times in the recent past as you are our go to Indian Takeaway) Your food is great. Just Eat are acting like morons.

Fast delivery but not great food. (Free) poppadums were soggy, samosas tiny and tasted of Madras powder, jalfrezi had too much chilli powder, rice was not the best - small grains, so cheap, chicken a bit tough. I’m always amazed that a town like Reading with a huge Indian and Pakistani population can’t produce better restaurants and take aways, even for Anglo Indian food.

I am sorry, but this is not Indian food.... Qumin!!

The guys were super busy when I arrived to collect but were in control of the Saturday night take away rush. Food was excellent as always.

Very nice. Only issue is that popadoms were not crispy. Tasted a little stale.

A delicious selection of food as always but I think our choices tonight were our best to date, the lamb tikka was delightfully tender, and the sag paneer, aloo gobi and mushroom rice complemented it perfectly. Qumin is our favourite Indian takeaway restaurant.

I order from Qumin quite a lot. And it’s usually great and arrives quicker than they tell me it will. But this time the food took 2 hours to arrive and there was no salad with the chicken tikka starter. The rest of the food was good. But I may try another takeaway next time.

Always order from here. But they managed to send a chicken jalfrezi instead of the prawn jalfrezi ordered. First time they've made a mistake on an order though.

Didn't even send the food that I ordered, phoned to ask whats going on, person on the phone was unhelpful, eventually he said he'd contact the driver and see whats going on (2 hours after order placed, and an hour after expected delivery). Didnt phone back. After 10 minutes i tried to call back but no answer after attempting to call multiple times. Would recommend giving your money to anyone else honestly.

I know it was Saturday and yes they were madly busy so I am fine for them to add extra time to the order. Yes it was late but the food was top notch. Worth the wait for sure. Will definitely use again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered tandoori chicken, which was good, alongside garlic naan and butter chicken (we said balti chicken on the phone but ended up getting butter chicken). The butter chicken was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! IT IS LIKE THEY ADDED 100 GRAMS OF SUGAR TO THE CURRY AFTER MAKING IT. I could not eat the curry as a result of the sweetness and had to throw it away. Service was appalling too. We called them over the phone to ask for a refund or for a replacement balti chicken curry without the sugar. They refused to do so. WORST TAKEAWAY EXPERIENCE EVER AND THE WORST TAKEAWAY SHOP IN READING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Very good service, friendly driver. Prices were very good, got a meal deal which gave us a lot of food for a low price. The portions were big and very tasty, my lamb was a little tough but still delicious. Would recommend this restaurant.

The food was very greasy and not very tasty. The grease was all spread in the bag, the paper bag arrived broken and the plastic bag has a layer of oil at the bottom. Not impressed.

Unfortunately this restaurant isn’t for us, the naans we’re like shop brought over cooked and dry. The meats were again really dry and had no taste to them. Only bit we thought was ok was the sagg aloo.
