The best. I had the spicy noodle soup. It was exceptional! I would happily eat this every day!!

Ordered takeaway numerous times from Youmesushi Reading, it's always been delicious! Particularly fond of their tofu katsu, and my partner loves their miso aubergine and california rolls. I'd definitely recommend, one of the best Japanese style restaurants in Reading for me.

Im the kind of person that tries different spots before judge , by far this place is the best for quality , freshness, PRICE (yes reader i you know most of you care about the price) and quantity ! Done my order takeaways , done it with too goo to go , done in person , the guys in the shops are ALWAYS smiling and polite . The location is very close to the station so before you take the bus home you can literally pop in , grab some and go home . The place is very clean and tidy and always made me feel welcome even on the late hours . A place to try and love .

I’ve eaten in and ordered for takeaway and the miso aubergine was the motivation to write this review. It was so balanced- sweet but not overly so. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious from the hot food bowls to the sushi. I tend to order vegetarian sushi so I can’t speak to the seafood but the avocado maki is always fresh. This is ok my go-to for Japanese food.

First time ordering from you me sushi on deliveroo and never again. Vegan poke arrived looking like half eaten with only 2 pieces of tofu and aubergine. Sashimi are miserablely thinly sliced. Dreadful!

Went for valentines day (yes I know this review is a month late 😅) the food was fantastic, great value for money, the ladies were lovely and they had put so much effort into the seasonal decor it was too cute

I ordered some sushi, a handroll and a seaweed pot. They said it would take 5-7 minutes and I said that was fine. My bus was due in 12 minutes. However, the bus came 8 minutes early and I asked when my order will be ready because I need to catch the bus. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were able to pack and bag all of my stuff so I didn’t miss the bus! I apologised if I had rushed them but I am so impressed with their efforts and amazing customer service. It’s such a quiet and nice place to eat and takeaway! Highly recommend! Thank you to those 3 staff members!! I’m sorry I didn’t get your names!

Great take away and portion size

Good portions, menu displayed extras with dishes which were sent with the order (e.g. a few edamame pods with sushi), attention to detail with delivery (ordered a katsu curry, sauce was in a separate pot avoiding the dish becoming soggy in transit). Potentially our new favourite sushi place

Chicken katsu curry was fresh, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Rice was perfectly cooked, service was great, staff were kind. It has a spacious dine-in area.

One of the best places for sushi in Reading. One of the few companies that genuinely cares about their customers. Every review I've left on Uber has received a response and I came in once just before close and the chap serving me was brilliant.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money, and the wide vegetarian and vegan selection.

The food has always been amazing, one of the girl that stays at the till specially have been really gentle and kind, every time we come here to eat the moment we see her, the place becomes better.

I ordered off of Deliveroo, the food was 10/10! Presented nicely , tasted amazing and delivered fast and fresh! My only criticism is that it had to end. I had the shroom katsu curry, edamame and the omega box sushi. Honestly I never throughly I’d eat a veggie katsu and prefer it to chicken but the flavors where just perfect.

Order has arrived not fresh, tuna is grey in colour and had very bad smell, so half of the order went straight to the bin. When I tried to reach the Reading branch by phone several times, it seems to be disabled and routing to the voicemail. A voice message was left and email sent to the branch but both didn't result in anything. We used to order a lot from You Me Sushi but this is a second complaint over last several months and quality of your products and services is dramatically declining. Sadly, it's very unlikely we will be ordering from you again due to an increasing risk of food poisoning and feedback is not being appreciated.

1st time trying, we ordered 2 salmon poke bowls and a miso soup, All amazingly good!! Definitely recommend!! Would be nice to have brown brown rice as an option❤️

I ordered a delivery on You Me Sushi a couple of times before. Yet it was another good experience. The foods were so tasty. Besides of the sushi, I highly recommend chicken katsu bites, which was crispy on the outside and juicy from the inside. Would definitely re-visit / order again.

Delicious!! Getting a fresh tuna poke bowl delivered to my front door in under an hour is the best thing ever! The fish is always delicious and the bowl is always full of fresh veg & they don’t skimp on the rice. You get excellent value for money & I love it!

Food is incredible, however they initially did not deliver all the items - although once we had rang them the error was promptly corrected and they immediately sent someone out with the missing item. I highly recommend them for delivery and appreciate their honesty in this matter.

Absolutely love this place for quick healthy food only 2 mins from the train station, great price and really smiley and friendly staff. Place is clean and I’ve always been able to get a seat. Avoid all the overpriced junk food offerings around train stations and head to you me sushi. I suppose the similar chain would be Kokoro but this place is far superior to the stodgy fare they serve up 👏🏻

I always get the katsu curry and it’s amazing! The best tasting sauce in Reading and the chicken is so good too! Massive portion size too! Love love love

My favourite sushi place in Reading. Truly believe this place is better than Itsu, Yo Sushi and Osaka. Don't get me wrong I love Sushimania as well, especially as they offer an all you can eat option, but for lunch, this is my go to place. Sushi options are great, even if you're vegan as they do vegan salmon, vegan tuna, a tofu poke bowl and more. Staff are friendly too. Sadly not suitable for those in motorised wheelchairs due to a small step up but they do deliver.

Thought I’d try this first time. Chicken teriyaki was not edible. Chicken had a slimy texture, the teriyaki sauce was not tasty. The noodles that came with it dry. However the chicken gyoza were nice. Quite disappointed was looking forward to a nice meal

Bought a katsu curry (shows as a highly rated item on their menu) and while the rice was okay and the sauce good enough for the price, I could not eat the chicken, it was slimy and I don’t know if it was undercooked, just a slab of chicken fat or if it was expired but it was not edible. Stay away from that item

The manager's behavior is a BIG SCANDAL!!!!!! I came to pick up two orders from the previous day, the manager deleted my order when I arrived to pick it up and I wasted my time and gas money by arriving late in the evening. NO RESPECT FOR HUMAN BEINGS. CATTLE.

Excellent sushi, bought a good amount for a good price. It didnt last long, we both loved every mouthful! Enjoyed the quirky napkins even if we did order on Deliveroo

Do you like warm sushi that's lost its colour? Look nowhere else! For those who think it's a hater comment i gave them 3 chances and on my third visit i had enough. I checked the refrigerating unit they have. It's at 16 degrees Celsius. Just a quick google search will tell why that's disgusting especially when you are selling fish. Ambient temperature outside their premises that day was 12. So yes, they are heating up your sushi before you eat. For the uninitiated, just check any packaged food ( not frozen ) or meat for the temperature suggestion for storage.

Very good sushi and katsu curry - delicious sauce, and nice, crispy chicken. Menu is more limited than Yo Sushi, but quality is as good and portions are a bit bigger. Also better than Wagamama.

I often come here to buy the dragon roll and it’s really nice - either made just then or within a couple hours. The service is great and i’d say it’s good value for money given the amount of toppings/ embellishments on the sushi. I recommend it!

This was my go to sushi place in Reading, until the salmon I ordered last night, which was very off and went straight in the bin. Very sad as it's usually very good and the miso aubergine was absolutely delicious. If I could also add a review for each of my previous visits, those would be all have been 5 stars. But not worth risking food poisoning for.

Food here is lovely but delivery took over two hours!! The restaurant did call us to explain why it would be late but it was still a terrible experience, we were so hungry!

I recently order Yo Me Sushi and tried their chicken katsu curry. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite average and the sauce was watery and not smooth as I expected. Additionally, I was disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of the owner who asked for a 5 star review, sending on a piece of paper with the delivery. This is ridiculous and not a good way to treat customers. Reviews should be honest and reflect the quality of the service and food provided. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration and works on improving the quality of their food and service, and also the professionalism of their staff.

3 stars because although the food tastes great, there is no sticker or other indication at the entrance or on Deliveroo that the meat is Halal. This is intentionally misleading to those who are mindful not to consume halal for ethical reasons. Perhaps consider offering a non-halal option, or at least clearly indicate that your chicken meat is halal, both at your entrance and on food delivery services.

Probably the people here already know me 😂 I always stop by here after gym. They serve fresh sushi and sashimi, etc. The staff are friendly! They have a loyalty card program too. Get some free edamame or a sushi box woohoo 🥳

Ordered via deliveroo. When it arrived the tuna was very discoloured and smelled very bad. The smell was so bad I ended up throwing the entire thing away. I was given a refund via deliveroo but when I phoned the shop to let them know that what they sent was bad, the lady on the phone refused to believe I was telling the truth. I got a bit frustrated at this and perhaps I did end up being rude. She was also very rude.

The staff is friendly and it's cheaper than other sushi restaurants. The central location is good and in-store dining is also available.
