I held a business lunch and I was very satisfied, the food was good, tasty, well presented - we could have a good business meeting, there was no pressure to return the table even when we needed almost 3 hours The quality of food to value ratio is quite high, i.e. generous portions at good quality which do not cost an arm and a leg

Great spot, ambience and outlook really nice. Food very good for a breakfast meeting - Directors level although can be slow to come out and not altogether. Waitress quite slow to respond. Club looks after members extremely well, we have a very lovely breakfast!

Great value meal however long gaps in between the courses they forgot the last two but brought them once prompted. The duck was the best course for my liking. The bread in the first course was a bit tough. Toilets of a high standard with top quality soaps.

It was my first time there. I was very disappointed with the service. There was a waiter who looked like it was his 1st day at work. We had to wait 41 mins to get a first course although there were people who arrived after us and had already 2 courses. Overall food very average, most of the dishes super bland and lacking any seasoning at all. As a Groupon experience it was bearable, but if I would have to pay normal price it would be terrible.

Very mediocre food and experience for double the price of their usual offer for Valentine’s Day. We called in advance to check we could order off the a la carte menu but were sadly given the wrong information, leaving us with no choice but to pay 62.50 on the day for a set menu we weren’t keen on, which ended up 76 per head after water and service. The food was fine, but not that well executed (eg lukewarm main of beef and mashed potato with extra charge for any veg), the restaurant and venue itself is nice but the ambiance and music wasn’t great. The waitress was nice and helped us swap a few things around but overall experience disappointing for the price tag. I’m sure this is a nice place to go usually but just a shame we were given the wrong information for this particular evening

Great space with quite chilling atmosphere. I would totally recommend this to my friend and definitely this place deserves a returned visit.

We lived our Valentines dinner at the Quartier. Service was great and our meal was delicious. They also have a really good wine list with reasonable prices. I will be definitely coming back to try other dishes on their menu.

Had the 7 course tasting menu with a bottle of champagne. Each person on our arrival was polite and made us feel welcomed . We arrived early to have a drink first and expected to sit in the bar area but were asked if we preferred to sit at our table which we did and were given an excellent table. After we finished our drinks we ordered the 7 course menu. Every course was excellent and well worth the cost. We have visited many times and again enjoyed our visit as stated food and drink was excellent as was Shayla who served us and was efficient as well as fun. I also felt sorry for her as there seemed to be a shortage of staff and she worked very hard . Thanks for making the evening even better. Looking forward to return as each visit , food ,drinks and welcome have been excellent. Nice venue .

Great evening enjoying the delicious Groupon 7 Course tasting menu with fantastic staff. Was worried after reading previous reviews but all was well. Friendly staff and excellent service. Delicious food, all 7 courses and the champagne that came as part of the deal. Yes we handed our coats in downstairs when we checked in but was not a problem as the restaurant was warm, busy and cosy. Even though we arrived early we were shown to our table. We had booked online through Groupon and had our Voucher code for them. We will be back especially for the food and friendly service. Thank you.

We had a groupon for the 7 course tasting menu, food was for the most part delicious and does offer great value for money. However the service was poor, our coats were offered to be taken downstairs but you had to walk through outside to get to the lift to the restaurant so we declined, the couple in front of us had their coats taken upstairs but we were refused, found this very strange. Had the option of vegetarian or meat menu, I informed them that I have a salmon allergy so asked for a substitute for 1 course but was denied, no substitutions, however the menu advises to let staff know about any allergies, seems pointless as the will not accommodate anyway. We were not offered any drinks apart from water, we had to ask for cocktail menu and wine list (we waited until after course 2 to see if they would offer) . Cocktail was 1/2 full, but delicious! Beef carpaccio was really delicious, highly recommend this course and the duck was lovely too. Found it very strange there were no efforts to up-sell, despite not being very busy, no further courses were offered, no bread / sides etc, and we did leave still peckish.

Really enjoyed our lunch. Private members’ club service without being pretentious or stuffy. Great menu offering the classics as well as more refined dishes. Will definitely come again. Five star.

Great food, great venue, great people. This place is a real find and beautifully decorated. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and even though this is clearly a really exclusive place they made us feel very welcome. Ideal for a working lunch or a special occasion - I hope to be back for both.

An oasis of calm eight floors above the busy streets of Shoreditch. It feels like arriving at a tastefully styled gentleman's club. The tables are well spaced so your conversations and those of others are thankfully kept private. The menu offers a good range of appetising dishes with quality ingredients and enticing combinations. My starter of prawn and lobster gyozas was excellent and the portion generous. For mains there was a good range of classics and dishes of the day. The desserts were satisfying and nicely presented. It’s a good place if you’re seeking a quiet quality meal and service in an unhurried hideaway. We enjoyed our ‘find’.

We had a mixture of dietary requirements, vegan, pescatarian and omnivore round our table today. Delighted to say, all had a delicious lunch. Highly recommend

As a venue it’s a little bit of a hidden gem - entrance on a side street but this adds to its charm. Stylish decor with a fun view into the offices of the poor City drones still working at 9pm on a Thursday evening. Menu more than adequately caters for most tastes without being overwhelming. Price is a little stretched but given location hardly surprising. Quality of dishes (beetroot risotto, crab linguine) were tip top. Service was friendly without being obtrusive. Would certainly go back.

Worst costumer service EVER in London. Ignasio the RESTAURANT MANAGER was very rude with me and my family. We tried to buy a voucher from GROUPON for 7 course set menu for today; when we arrived to the reception they said they were trying to contact me about they couldn’t give me the 7 courses menu beca was Avaible from JANUARY! they didn t send me any mail/message or tried to call me. They didn t even offer me any solution o tried to fix the problem. They advertised a 7 course menu which isn’t t even Avaible and told me I have to wait for 2 months to reschedule my booking without notifying me before hand! I’m a manger as well in hospitality and I never EVER had to deal with this level of unprofessionalism IN MY LIFE‼️ They even said there was a DRESS-CODE which they used as an EXCUSE to cover up the fact they messed up our booking. IGNASIO worst restaurant manager ever, I am restaurant manager myself and I could even imagine treat my guests this way, NEVER , PERIOD. MARINA that was working in the reception (I guess restaurant reception manager) was smiling at me and my family while IGNASIO was saying we couldn’t get a table anyway even dining “A LA CARTE” menu. The only thing I m so sorry for is that the boss of this company/restaurant maybe doesn’t t know that this is the way that his employees treats his guests.

Absolutely awful experience, we had a 7 course tasting meal, on arriving at the restaurant we were told this menu isn’t running until next year. Not one person tried to contact us to notify us that this menu wasn’t running, let alone trying to accommodate their guests for a menu we had already pre paid for which doesn’t exist. Absolutely no effort was made to try and rectify the situation and the manager IGNASIO and reception manager MARINA simply tried to put that blame onto us. We will never be coming back here again and they should be ashamed to treat guests in such a way.

The tasting menu is fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous beautifully presented. Service needs some polish to match the food.

Very good food, good value, and very attentive,polite and professional staff. It was the perfect setting for a work dinner for 8 people, particularly as it is quiet so you can hear and speak to everybody. Will definitely come again.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. The food was delicious, the service friendly and professional and we even received complimentary glasses of champagne. We'd definitely return!

Excellent ! We had the salmon and the lamb chops and our waitress was lovely. Oasis in the financial district of London.

We came here for lunch one day, and felt the experience was disappointing. We were sat outside on the terrace, which was very cramped, and our table of 3 was spread out in a weird way. Our problem then started. We ordered a bottle of Malbec. Waitress came back and said they didn’t have any Malbec. We ordered a Cabernet Sauvignon. She returned and said they didn’t have this. Ordered a Merlot. Same thing. Then a Pinot Noir, same issue. It became ridiculous and we said it would be easier if she told us the wines she did have. She then started recommending all the wines £100+. We eventually chose a Bordeaux wine. She returned with a bottle, and then said “it’s not the same Bordeaux as you chose” and it transpired it was £30 more expensive. We had spent 15 minutes simply trying to get a bottle of red wine. The Bordeaux that we had was terrible, yet it was around £80. Quality of it was awful, was watery and more tasted like blackcurrant juice as opposed to wine. There was no body to this wine at all. However, the cocktails were enjoyable. Food wasn’t overly great. Burrata was nice, although wasn’t creamy and was quite hard - more seemed like mozzarella. The ribeye steak was incredibly fatty - struggled to get meat from it, although the chips were really nice. Overall, we wouldn’t return. What sort of restaurant doesn’t have a Malbec, Merlot, Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon?! The reason we were given was “we expect it to be quieter this time of the year and the Malbec is popular”. Not good enough.

Lovely little find so close to Liverpool Street, yet out of the way. Gorgeous food, discreet tables ( well spaced out) only problem was finding it !

As mentioned by other reviews, it is not easily signposted that the restaurant is in a private members club. Therefore I walked past the venue twice before realising it. Once inside everyone is pleasant and friendly. The food is also delicious and very well presented. A 5 course meal with a glass of bubbly for £37.50 is very good value. Which I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

My wife and I enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu. The food and service were outstanding. This is a great value for money deal. We have been to this restaurant many times and have always had a wonderful time. We will definitely return.

Ambience and food was good, but the waitress kept opening bottles of water without asking and charge for the water was quarter of the bill. I would have liked if she asked then I would have asked for tap water.

When I get in the lobby , I thought I was in an old library, it smells like a old place . The food was good , I ordered rosemary lamb, and Red wine and my hubby ordered breast grilled chicken with Cesar salad . We had desert I ordered tarta with ice cream ! I did not like it . And my hubby had ice cream . The service was very good !

The meal was good and tasty, I ordered the rosemary lamb , a glass of red wine and my hubby , grilled chicken breast with cesar salad , we had desert he ordered ice cream and a tarta with ice cream for me ! I did not like it , but it was ok .

Delicious set menu, with first two courses excellent, next three less special but all together a lovely meal. Fish should be served before meat in my opinion. Service was excellent and surroundings cozy, animated without being too noisy. Good value for money.

Tucked away onto a quiet rooftop with lovely outdoor and indoor seating areas. The 5 course menu including a glass of champagne requires booking beforehand and is superb value (GBP 37.5). Service was extremely friendly and courteous. Would definitely go there again!

Well where can I start . Dinner was mediocre , gazpacho was very spicy , carpaccio dish was missing parsnip crisp , risotto was undercooked and missing broad beans I mean dinner went all wrong ( might have been agency chef working in kitchen ) and we weren’t offered any bread at our table . Don’t think I’ll recommend or go back again . Bye

On our first visit to Quartier we had a superb experience with their set menu. Food was delicious, cost reasonable and excellent service. Unfortunately our second visit was a distinct disappointment. We had the Al la Carte menu and expected it to outshine the set menu. The starter of seared scallop, was excellent. However the main course of a seared tuna salad, which consisted of a plate of leaves with a few slices of the seared tuna left a lot to be desired especially at an eye watering cost of £29 each. The tarte tatin was sad: limp apples and looked as if it had been around a while and then zapped in a microwave. In these difficult economic times you want a restaurant that offers value for money and there are many that do. Quartier, on this occasion, was not one.

At first we were confused where it was, it was accessed via Eight Club. Staff were lovely, scallops were small but tasty, pork belly and fillet steak were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The decor had gentleman's club appearance, classy and elegant. Prices were typical for central London. £200 for 2 people with drinks.

This was a new restaurant for me and it was great - really nice environment in a private members club - restaurant was lovely, really nice ambiance and decor and interesting art on the walls. The tasting menu was wonderful and great value - would highly recommend!

I happened to be in London on business and found Quartier via OpenTable. The food was excellent, especially at this price point. I ordered the house wine - another solid recommendation from the very attentive wait staff. And the ambiance reminded me of restaurants here in my home city of San Francisco. I will definitely return on my next trip to the UK.

We have passed experience of this deal and look out for it annually. The food is first class, a shame they dropped two of the courses from seven to five however, it did not spoil the experience. Great surrounding and excellent service. We have introduced friends to this restaurant as it doesn't disappoint.

The entrance was unclear, as my guest didn’t realise that it was through the reception at the Eight Club. Very good service and friendly staff, from the moment we walked in, till the time we left. The menus took some time to arrive, but we were enjoying the view. We arrived at 6:30pm and there was one other table occupied. By 9:30pm when we left half the restaurant was full. For. Tues evening this was expected. We had the 5 course menu with half a bottle of Prosecco for £35.50. It was well worth the money, especially with the cost of living. Each dish was a work of art and perfectly executed. My favourite dishes were the seafood dish and the duck breast. The dessert was a bit heavy, but still tasty. The waitress was attentive and kept our glasses topped up throughout the evening. The venue was nicely decorated and the bathrooms were well presented. I would recommend this restaurant

Having been cancelled arbitrarily by Vintner and Mercer at very short notice I booked here for our Anniversary. It was first class. Food, service and ambience. We had the tasting special and we’re not disappointed. We would highly recommend a visit to this somewhat hidden gem. Ian and Sue

I dont know how this place wasn't packed, maybe because it's a bit incognito & hard to find, but it's a real gem. The coursed menu was awesome and so reasonably priced. We totally enjoyed our evening at Quartier

Perfect place for a business dinner: very good food, right atmosphere (not too loud, you can actually hear people), attentive service.

Excellent value set menu of 5 taste dishes with prosecco bottle for 2 at £65. Good Chilean Red to choose as accompaniment. Attentive and pleasant service but a little slow at end. A long time to get a cold cheesecake. But certainly we will come again.

Had a very delicious lunch (sprout), after a complementary small aperitif from the chef. It was a great atmosphere also for a business lunch. A bit pricey, but understandable given the views and location.

This was a Valentine Day Special. Limited but varied food choice. Both of us appreciated the offerings and they were expertly cooked. Plus - efficient and good-humoured service.

The experience this time was excellent , each of the 5 courses were really tasty and well presented. Staff were nice and attentive and made the evening special. Even though there was no one at the restaurant but us on this particular fri night the service was really not upto scratch. Perhaps a training issue. That apart the food was lovely and the set menu was worth it.

Surprisingly sophisticated service and food.

The food was excellent, well presented and very tasty. Initial service was prompt, courteous and professional. The only negative for my experience was a lack of service staff available when glasses were empty and we were seeking further liquid refreshment and we had to ask for the wine menu a couple of times before it was presented.

Food was amazing, service attentive and lovely ambience. Only the dessert was a bit of a let down, hence the 4 star.

Had the £35 3 course menu with a glass of champagne. The starter and main course were both fantastic but was followed by a very average dessert. Was well worth the £35 we paid. The deco and the view are lovely, but the restaurant itself was very quiet. It’s a shame as then it was lacking in atmosphere. The service was very good and they had a nice selection of wines. I would return again definitely and I hope it gets busier as the food was great.
