Worth the carvery lunch for a very decent price if you are on your way into/out Hinkley Point Power Station with ample parking outside as well as outdoor garden area.

Me and a friend came for a meal this evening and the highlight of my evening was Zac! Very professional and friendly! An absolute asset to Greene king. Thank you zac!

Jane and Liz were very helpful and lovely. We don’t get chance to go out much running our own business and they made it a very enjoyable evening being so friendly. My husband and daughter can be fussy with food and they made sure everything was done how they like it. Lots of parking, wait time wasn’t too long and food was good.

An amazing place, amazing food and staff, nice a friendly staff especially the old granny that works behind the bar, I love talking to old people but she’s a hole new level in a lovely and hardly working person

Lovely carvery good atmosphere ample parking

We had breakfast there today for my husband’s 60th birthday and wow not only was it superb 👌 but the Manager gave him his on the house, for his birthday. Thank you all so much. We often eat at the Quantock Gateway the food is always lovely, the staff are very nice and friendly, it’s perfect for all the family. They even have a children’s play area. I highly recommend it.

Music bingo on arrival, carvery and main menu avaliable, wanderful outdoor play area as well as a few different options for seating inside and outside. This greeneking is one of a kind-loved visiting here as it has something for the whole family! I stand by thus top review!

Went and got a carvery unfortunately it was Luke warm spoke to Charlie and asked if we could have it reheated and he said he would replace the meal and also then give a free dessert for telling them both Charlie and Jane. The reason it was Luke warm was because the heating trip had switched.

We love coming to qauntock gateway, we are always greated with a welcoming friendly smile especially from Laura who gives excellant service is very attentive and makes you feel at home,any small issues we have Laura is very approachable and sorts it out promptly and professionally along with the rest of the friendly staff,the food is marvellous, I seem to have something different every time we visit,I love the burgers,and the chicken strips,onion rings to die for as well as jalapeño bites,the carvery is always epic!!!the food is reasonably priced,we tend to pop up on special occasions too,birthdays,mothers day,fathers day,so i highly recommend and will carry on going to our favourite pub/ restaurant in bridgwater,many thanks for making our visits enjoyable and see you very soon!!!! Absolutely fantastic here, we booked our table online, got there a bit early but we were able to sit at our table straight away. Ordered our males for the boys and then we headed over to the carvery.. Very friendly staff there and always someone around if needed, good price, good drinks, felt very clean and will definitely come back again.

A really great experience! Came in for a family lunch today. The boys had a carvery and I had a mixed grill. All cooked to perfection. The sharing dessert we had after was the perfect end. The service was exceptional. Nick was so friendly and funny. The other staff were also amazing and was there to help if we needed, so thank you all.

Stopped off at the quantocks pub in Bridgewater for a carvery. The food and staff were amazing. I am a regular visitor to the pub due to the great service. Nick greats everyone with a smile and makes you feel right at home. It is a team effort that makes you feel welcome. Never had a bad meal since coming here. Thank Nick and the team. What an amazing service. I came in during the day and spend most of the day in here. The team were super acomidating, they help me with all my requests. The food was amazing, the people in there were great.

Went for a 70th Birthday, when booking they gave a choice of tables, were happy for us to put up decorations. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The gift of a bottle of bubbles was really nice. Food was good. Thank you Nick and team for helping make our birthday special.

Family of 12 visited on the way to a funeral. Stopped for coffee and stayed for lunch. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nick was very helpful and we felt valued customers. Will definitely visit again.

Our first visit to The Quantock in some time, and first since Greene King ran the pub. We were greeted warmly by Nick and had a nice conversation with him about moving in across the road recently, he asked used if we had had any issues with the pub / noisy customers / general pub noise / parking and was genuinely interested in case we had - we have definitely NOT had any issues and so far the pub have been good neighbours in those respects ( in any case we have bought a house opposite a pub that’s been a hotel/pub for nearly 80 years so even if there is some slight noise we have to expect it yeah? ) anyhoo that all said we went for breakfast this morning and it was top notch , hot and freshly cooked and tasty also great value. Great service too and even an offer to plate up a Sunday roast to take away if we ever fancied it - that’s an offer we may well take up sometime !! First impressions really good 😊

Nick and his team fed and watered our group of 32 people at short notice whilst on our holiday. The food and service were great and the kids loved the outdoor play area. Thanks for a fab evening Nick, and for accomodating us all so brilliantly 👏🏼

Never before have I experienced customer service of such monumental proportions. Nick could not have done enough for us. He was funny, friendly, attentive and most of all, incredibly knowledgeable. He waltzes around the premises like he’s performing swan lake. It simply took my breath away when I witnessed Nick pirouetting from table to table like Christopher Dean performing The Bolero in Sarajevo back in 1984. His effortless coordination and attention to detail got a 10 from me. Keep up the great work Nick, you wonderful, wonderful man

Nick was absolutely brilliant with all of us as our table of 31 was superbly looked after! Any issue was dealt with straight away (and to be honest, they were hardly issues!) Nothing was a problem and Nicks smile and enthusiasm shone through as his customer service was of the highest level! Credit to him and his team, they’re a credit to the company! Ben

Very good value for money at the moment. Monday to Saturday kids est free with paying adult. We had 2 adults and 3 kids ate free

Excellent breakfast at this fine establishment. I was greeted by the manager, a fine gentleman called Nick. I was even lucky enough to meet the rather hunky kitchen manager too. The breakfast was fantastic. It's also refreshing to see that this company hires people from the dwarf community. She may have needed stilts to serve us but I admire her spirit in overcoming heightism.

The Texas jack burger was like a rubber hockey puck we ordered 3 and every single one was the same it was rock solid and chewy. The burger bounced on the table when I put it down and the bacon had felt like it was going to break my tooth. It was horrible. The food was preheated and the chips were the worst thing the I have ever ate other the disgusting Burger the server said the cooker was off even tho they ‘cooked’ it in 5 minutes there was mold in the picture frame and the knife and forks where disgusting it had food on it the source of the last people who was there was still on it. I could never eat there again. No wonder there was no one in there it was nasty the entire experience experience was horrible I wouldn’t be suprised if I have food poisoning and when I got the new food it was again like rubber and Un edible it was the worst thing ever NEVER GOING BACK the burger was like shoe leather and impossible to to bite or rip

The food was as I ordered but the bar lady made me wait ages to order while she bantered with a load of guys at bar the waitress was very loud talking across tables to customers and basically very abrupt won’t be back as felt very uncomfortable

I don’t know why this place gets such a high recommendation. It’s looks very inviting from the outside and the food is cheap but apart from that there is little to recommend it. The table we were shown to after we had booked was next to the gents toilet. The table was sticky and had not been cleaned properly after the last customers. We also had the pleasure of a birthday party accompanied by their children. We had to go in search of extra cutlery because there was not enough in the tub for four people. The serviettes were small and thin more like tissues. The starters were tasty and at 3 for £12 good value for money. Two people had the carvery and the ham and accompaniments were mostly well prepared and again value for money. I had scampi and the chips and scampi and the small quantity of tartar sauce tasted fine but the peas which looked like they had come out of a tin were not in my opinion edible. The food arrived fairly promptly but the staff were only available when they were delivering the food or picking up the used plates. We had to pay for the food when it was ordered but I suppose this a sign of the times these days. I would not go there again but if you are in a tight budget this place could be worth trying.

Stopped for a relaxing drink on Saturday evening and had a sneaky chocolate lava cookie, made and delivered by Zak. Zak always makes a great dessert and offers service with a smile. Service was quick and atmosphere was great. Quantock delivered again!

Class this as standard as its hit ir miss and an staff seem stand around alot and are slow on wat they do stood waitin nearly 10 mins for apple sauce but they be bk in a mini my extra dish I ordered was ment to hav with my carvery turned uo when I'd nearly finnish and was horrible and the one thing that is hurndous is there peas never tasted anything like them defo avoid I can't even describe them just ewww and I loke all types if peas but there nasty even perso with me spat them out but good all round cheap food nite out u get wat u pay for but someone e there can cook a steak steak was spot on

Was for post funeral get together of40 people - food provided. Very generously only charged us for 30. Loads of food, enough for about 60 provided - very generous, and food good as well - good range of food. Staff lovely. Impressed me. Would definitely recommend

We were a big party tonight, the Manager made sure all our food arrived at the same time even though there were multiple people ordering. Staff were great. Food was good as usual. Carvery was very yummy. Highly recommend this pub.

Lovely experience at quantock gateway. Ordered 4 carverys which were lovely and great value. Had an issue with the meat and the lovely member of staff called Zak put it right with no issues, ensured each member of the table were happy with their foods and chatted to us with fantastic customer service and we are all very satisfied. After Christmas, we fancied a steak meal and looked around our local area. The Quantock was the only option. We were disappointed, the service was less than perfect, the food was below avarage, the steak was not very tasty. The table was sticky! Will not be going there again.

I Ate at the cavary on Sunday and although the food was delicious I have to admit that it was only Luke warm. The gammon and the turkey looked very dried up so we all decided to have the beef. Unfortunately the only Veg that was hot were the new potatoes which were filled up whilst we were there. This gave us the feeling that the rest of the veg and the gravy had been there since last night. I future we will eat later than today which we feel will then be served fresher veg and then you will get an outstanding review
