Friendly staff, too small for the size of hospital & the menu needs a look at. I felt visiting family at the hospital for a week, meant the menu was too much of the same type of food. Aside from this, meals were available from Marks&Spencer but there was no where to heat them up.

Food is nice and inexpensive. Only real choice for a hot meal. Would be a lot more convenient if it didn’t close at 3.30pm.

This small cafe is tucked away on the Central Corridor of the hospital and is well worth seeking out. The cafe is basic but is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly, pleasant and obliging. Breakfast was still being served when we visited, my daughter had a fry-up of sausage, bacon, mushrooms, beans, egg and hash browns and I had a bacon roll. My daughter said everything about the fry-up was excellent, and I must say the bacon was lovely, the fat was crispy and tasty....a rare find in a cafe these days. These items plus a coffee came to £6.38, fantastic value for money. I only wish we had found this cafe on our first visit to this hospital some six weeks ago but with more visits in the future we will definitely be back. Highly recommended to all.

Won't win any Michelin stars but tasty and super cheap. I had pasta meatballs and a side of veg for £2.50.

My wife and I visited the cafe for lunch today , beef goulash, rice and broccoli , £9.90 for the two of us. The very small cafe was mainly used by the staff all very friendly. Lunch is served from midday until 14.30. Plenty of the usual offerings, burgers, jacket potatoes etc. As others have mentioned it is out of the way but well worth hunting out.

Excellent value for money. The Cafe is situated on Central Corridor near Xray. I had freshly brewed coffee and was tempted by the smell of the bacon. The cafe is run by caring staff. Why pay more and get poorer quality at the 'named' cafes?

For convenience I have visited this cafe on three occassions and each time the food has been no more than adequate. The food may be a lot better when first cooked but I suspect that it had been available and under the heating lights for some time. A full English breakfast was barely edible as much of the content had shrivelled and dried (or should it be died?). the on site Marks and Spencers will get my future business.

A tiny canteen, busy but with surprisingly short opening hours for a hospital. Food was tasty but basic. A captive audience.

Very good choice for breakfast. Full English can add up as you pay per item but then I was hungry! Make your own tea with tea bag and hot water. Teabags are very week. For the size of the hospital the cafe is quite small. Overall very good service. Staff around will assist you to a table if you can't manage on your own.

I have used this cafe many times over the last few months and have never been disappointed with the food served. It is situated tucked away in the corridors in the recently built section of the hospital. You get to it up the slope opposite the Blood Test area, sign posted "Cafe." It serves excellent breakfast food and specials for lunch as well as other cafe food. The staff use it all the time and in my experience usually out number visitors. Although there are the usual posh High Street names serving food in the main concours, try the Pudding Wood first for best value.

I've wanted to go to this pub for ages. The reason being it was Keith flints pub. I was absolutely made up that I've photos of me outside which I'll frame. I do live far away so this has made my year being a big fan. I went inside and it was not what I expected. To be honest it has some nice charm to it. A real nice country pub. Prices are reasonable and the bar staff very friendly. I would recommend and would love to go back again.
