Wow the donuts are always amazing. We love the monthly changing menu giving us the change to try different combinations and classics. Always fresh and great service. Good coffee and donut combo deal aswell. Only downside is no inside seating and the time it takes to serve the donuts is quite slow ( more down to people not deciding I think) Always a good way to start a Sunday

We visit proven goods about once a month and it never disappoints. The matcha tea donut was incredible. We love matcha and see such bold matcha flavours in this donut was incredible. We also like the ever changing menu giving us a chance to try different combinations. Only downside is a the long queues in the rain. Not too long again this place was shut for a referb. Allowing for customers to enter the store, small area to wait for their coffee and exit. I’m not sure why but not it seems to take a lot longer for your donuts that it did before this change. This issues has deterred us from visiting due to the extensive time it takes to serve donuts.

We waited for ages in a queue which we took as a good sign. Although the doughnuts were average, the staff unresponsive and not working efficiently. The see through kitchen is great, we could see all that was going on, including a number of staff members eating in food preparation areas and then not washing hands before returning to serve customers. Basic food hygiene stuff really let this place down. This place could be amazing and the doughnuts are good. We were slightly perturbed to find out that most of the options had sold out and having stood in the rain for 30 minutes not one staff member thought it might be worth to pop out and take hot drinks orders or explain which doughnuts were sold out. Little changes and this place would be awesome.

Hi we buy your wonderful doughnuts on Sunday mornings and today my son came back with a peanut and jam cookie which he said tasted equally delicious. Unfortunately there is a hair in the cookie. I’ve tried to ring rather than trip advisor however, no contact number and I’m not on Facebook or instagram. Hoping this is a one off.

Went on a Sunday morning just as it opened, we had to wait in a bit of a queue, but it was well worth it! The doughnuts, while fairly expensive, were absolutely delicious and so fresh! I will definitely be visiting again next time I'm in the area.

Visited prince goods on a cold but sunny morning. Staff really friendly as normal and happy to help. We sat at some of there seating in the small outdoor seating area which was really nice. The donuts where incredible. Some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Due to the menu changing each month it’s like your first time visiting when we come back each month. This time we had the Homer and chocolate hazelnut donut that was on the menu at the time ( minus the branded coffees we got on the way) Will be back

Best doughnuts I’ve ever had, I usually get the Homer which is a big Simpson style doughnut. I’ve also had custard in the past and it’s just excellent, not forgetting their hot chocolate with toasted fluff on the top. This place is simply amazing and I definitely recommend to anyone.

I expected more from the doughnuts considering the price of them but it was a novelty and I would return if there was a biscoff doughnut at any point. The hot chocolate was delicious so I give that 10/10! The staff are really lovely so that was nice!

Just had to visit again. Been around 5 times now and the fact the menu changes every month is great. You can try a wide range of unique options every month. This time I tried a matcha white chocolate filled donut which was to die for. A donut with homemade ice cream which just made my day with the hot weather. Will be back again next month to try the new menu.

Visited Saturday morning around 11. Was a small queue but was expected. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They do alternative milk which is a bonus and have a outdoor seating area with music which has a great atmosphere. The hot coffee was one of the best I’ve had in the north east. Very tasty and smooth coffee. This meant the iced coffee was incredible. The donuts we got were tiramisu, pistachio and a donut twist ( yum yum). All where incredible. Tasty and a soft dough. Would definitely go back and highly recommend. Also look at the Instagram for the donuts and monthly changing menu.

came at about lunchtime today, I had been feeling really unwell and saw a post from my friend about the Fluff Hot Chocolate and it was the first thing in days that I actually fancied, it did not disappoint! really cheered me up! I got 3 amazing doughnuts and a fudge cookie, they were all delicious! My hot chocolate order came out wrong at first but the staff were really helpful and so friendly and fixed it for me. A little bit of a wait time for those drinks but understandable given the quality of the product and totally worth the wait, I’ll definitely be back!

Been keen to come here after seeing it recommended. Had my eyes on a specific donut as did my husband - lemon and blueberry and the kids had their eyes on the homer. On arrival 2 hours before close 3 types sold out completely. Yet more of the Boston being stacked up almost looked too many on trays. Was gutted as out our way specifically to trial. Reluctantly picked the Eton mess. Kids and hubby picked summer Berry which was basically a jam sugar donut over priced because it had a single raspberry or a 1/4 of strawberry on it. Mine was bland and tasted cinnamony despite not saying it had that on it and honestly felt really underwhelmed. Eyed these and r place at whitley Bay up and there's looks more filling for price tbh. Also ordered 2 fluff hot chocolates - waited forever for drinks as did others. It was quite a nice drink actually and hubby's espresso was apparently a nice coffee but honestly feel this place doesn't offer anything special for prices. And perhaps they should consider stocking more of popular choices. Wish id of walked out with nothing to be honest and gone krispy kreme as they're donuts have more flavour and better value.

Visited again......the service is so slow.....there's no reason for it they've got more than enough staff. Despite that they still only have one till and one person serving.....I know there's a virus about but still your asking people to wear masks when they come to get served......they still need to be quicker at serving.

Heard so many good things about this place but the donuts sell out quickly - understandable if they’re as good as people say but people are left disappointed when they specifically come for a donut. It’s a bit out of the way just to be able to get a hot chocolate or coffee and you can only pre-order a box of 6 donuts and not a couple of them for popping by later. Disappointing it’s open 10-3 but can’t offer the main product that whole time, surely with your foot fare and experience of running the business you can calculate how many donuts you need to have them on offer the whole time?

We absolutely love this donut shop! The staff are super professional, and the donuts are delicious every time. Highly recommend the homer, and the chocolate praline donuts. It is a little bit out of the way, but well worth the journey.

We called into this café on our way to The Great Northern Museum. We ordered two coffees at the counter, but when we came to pay, we were told that cash was not accepted. This is a practice that we find quite deplorable so we left. It turned out well for us, because there was a café a few doors down which was very good and accepts cash.

Had high hopes for brunch at Eve but was a bit disappointed. We were seated straight away by a friendly young man. Probably sat for about 15-20 minutes without anyone approaching us for our order. I managed to get the hosts attention and he took the order for us. Seemed like there was a lot of staff but most of them lingered round the bar area. Saying that, their uniforms were odd, some were dressed in jeans/tshirts/aprons but none of them co ordinated so not always easy to identify who worked there and who didn’t. Pancakes were £11, were quite a small portion so not enough to fill you up. The live music was good but I’m not really sure it suited the vibe.
