The place looks good and has the character of a 20s jazz club. Sadly however the cocktail choice was limited to 6 none of which would be on the top 10 list of any of the 7 of us who attended. We also had £35 added to our bill for the live music which was unexpected. As a larger group the volume of the music made it impossible to have a conversation so we left after 2 drinks. It's early days for this place so I hope they can tweak it to fulfill its potential

The first impression was strong. Fab downstairs bar, great music but the drinks were laughable. None of our cocktails came close to drinkable or recognisable and they were served in ugly black plastic cups! If you are going to try and sell premium style cocktails at 8-£12 a pop they need to be served correctly. If you need to change to plastic cups on busy nights for safety, don’t still try and peddle the same menu. The flavours were what you only expect in all all inclusive holiday resort, where Syrups and premixers, replace training and ingredients. It’s obvious cost cutting! Quick turnaround poor quality. I don’t mind paying for a decent cocktail but £100 for what we were served is a swindle. Be excellent in all you offer and less People would leave prematurely. Could be great. Severely let down by drinks.

Southwick Hill RoadOrdered two coffees to drink in, via machine at entrance. Waited a while even though one section of counter wasn't serving anyone. Order was placed in takeaway cups so I asked why not in proper ones. I was told the are was mainly takeaway. I said I'd asked for eat in and server poured said coffee into them. Observed several people trying to order at other serving point only to be told (rather curtly)to go to other one by a young man with no explanation. No sign to say that section now closed and as only 3.30pm a little bemused. It was a quite busy time

St. Helens ParadeThe coffee is terrible it has no coffee in it. Worst coffee I have tasted for £3.20 I took it back and asked for black and it still tasted like hot water. This is because they set the machine to put small amount of coffee in it. Will never come here again. Stop scamming your customers. The Breakfast was ok got 2 stars coffee 0 stars

Clarence Esplanade Clarence Pier, Portsmouth PO5 3AA EnglandWe have eaten in here a few times and love it. Not sure if it has changed hands but what a different experience. Firstly it was like battersea dogs home,we have no problem with dogs at all but when they are barking very loudly the owners should be asked to deal with it. secondly, when our meals came up wrong it was shocking how they made us feel like it was our fault , nobody would take ownership so customer service went out of the window and the handling of it was grim. Food was ok ish once sorted. Certainly won't go back for a long time.
