Have been coming to the pavillions since I was a small child the surroundings and gardens are lovely and it's very family friendly. The cafe itself serves a good variety of food and drinks. Popped in today after a walk around the point and didn't appreciate that it was going to be so busy we had not realised that there was a children's panto showing. Because of this the cafe was very busy with children running everywhere. Unfortunately our drinks and cake was served in takeaway instead of crockery which was a bit of a shame. To be fair to the staff they were run off their feet and coped well considering the size of the queue. I was advised that because they were running a show bar all purchases would be in takeaway. I don't dislike takeaway cups in the right situation but I don't really expect it when sitting inside and still having to pay full price This won't stop me returning but I will avoid visiting when it's busy.

Sadly unable to comment on the delicious looking food and drink - despite having multiple staff bimbling around the location it would appear to that the three other members of the team nominated the world's slowest human being to manage the whole of the cafe area, which is understandable as there were only two people ahead of me in the line. They also seemed somewhat confused, having joined the line as hope filled 20 somethings and were still waiting well into their 40s. Room was nice, gardens were pretty, dread to think how it would work as a theatre/music venue if they share similar hiring practices. This is a shame as I've been looking for a reliable meeting space and while this place has free parking, my consultations typically only last an hour and that would barely cover the time required to get a cuppa and slice of cake

A great place for family events, for coffee and cake, for lunch, for catching up with friends, or for making new ones, for a work meeting or just to sit in the sun and read a book. Also a great venue for concerts and theatrical productions, and for listening to live jazz music in the Garden Room as I did last night with Radio Sourcefm 96.1, and it was Free!!

We went to The Princess Pavilion to watch Ride, although the hall is cosy for a concert the acoustics were excellent, there are good toilets and a well appointed bar and ample free parking at the site. We ate out at Wetherspoons in Falmouth which was clean friendly served a good curry and a good pint. Falmouth is an old haunt which myself and my kids frequented to visit my dad who lived there for many years. The town and harbour are still a fond favourite of mine. 👌🏻

We’ve been here a few times over the years when visiting Falmouth, but today’s lunch was very poor and disappointing. Uninterested staff. I ordered a steak pasty for hubby and a leek and butternut squash pie for myself - the latter came with coleslaw and salad garnish. Our order was lukewarm and the pasty had been microwaved so the pastry was soggy. Blaring music inside so we stayed outside. We’ll go elsewhere next time. The gardens are really well maintained and always look good. Lots of areas to explore, with a tunnel and shell grotto to enjoy. Toilets clean and plentiful.

I spent my long weekend in Falmouth as my little break from London. I have been in Falmouth few times and I found this town lovely place to visit. Last Sunday 26th May 2024 I and few friends went to visit this place which it was very lively with families, live music just by the sea. One moment I went to its bar to get a coffee. There wasn’t busy I stand on queue as it was only one lady being served by a staff named Sam. After 3 mins waiting he finished with this lady and he look at the queue and asked, who next?! I said me! There was a gentleman standing behind me and this staff SAM totally ignored me saying that man was there first and he started taking his order. I could not believe what that happening, I felt totally discriminated by this staff. His colleague apologised after but him didn’t and started being quite rude and arrogant. I work as bartender over 10 years in a busy places in London I never had kind of discrimination by staff, colleagues or costumers. I am not sure if they have proper training to deal with such things. No apologies, no compensation just nothing! I felt so bad being treated like that I was the only few not white person in that restaurant in that moment. I hope they will learn with those situations because it could go in that bad direction.

Interesting visit today! was walking through from gylly to stop here and get a coffee and return to my car in Falmouth and stopped outside to sit on a bench by the bandstand at the far end of the gardens have visited several times with my dog and inside the restaurant without issue (there was a dog loose around the bandstand area) Another unrelated dog came up to mine and the owner briefly dropped the lead so I let mine off the lead to greet they stayed on the grass and were probably 10 ft from me and 40 ft away from anyone in the restaurant, someone came over who didn’t identify themselves but clearly staff? With there badge turned round. So I couldn’t see, and asked me to put him on a lead so I did, I asked her why the unrelated dog (the groundsmans) was off the lead, she went very quiet for a few moments and proudly stated because he’s well behaved-😂 oh the irony. I’m not sure she really understood the whole situation so I chose to leave There are no signs to this effect and the dogs weren’t causing a nuisance her lack of understanding was really disappointing. Ps the last time I ate here a few months they got my order totally wrong and just said would I mind eating the wrongly provided food (which was also without the accompanying side)

Avoid. Visited for a lunch from the Christmas menu - beef and mushroom pie, chips and red cabbage. Tinned peas, tough beef pieces and in what the red cabbage had been cooked I dread to think. Chips were salted but no mention on menu that they were to be seasoned. People with high blood pressure MUST be given the choice if they want their food seasoned. BUT - it was only £10. Drinks OK. Moved to Falmouth in 1965 so almost a local! Sorry - need to up your game.

The food is good quality and reasonably priced, the staff are nice but have had issues with certain staff being forceful with their views on gluten free, vegan foods etc. There is an amazing garden next to it to explore and hidden cove of rare sea shells at the bottom of the garden. Cross the road at the bottom and you can go down further to the secret beach down the under the ground.

We went there to see a concert and it is a great venue for an intimate music experience - except, between bands the doors to the outside are opened and the venue is filled with smoke as all the smokers stand directly outside the doors. This almost completely ruined the evening for us. Smokers should be made to go to a separate area which doesn't impact everybody else's enjoyment of the event. Very, very poorly planned.
