Pret A Manger in Leicester

Best place to chill with a coffee in Leicester. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, fantastic coffee, fresh food made daily. Served by Tina who has a beautiful smile and was so friendly!!

Have frequently visited here since it's re-opening last year and I've never had a bad experience. Staff are always friendly and helpful and it's part of the reason I keep going back. The place is always clean and the food is always delightful. Service is very efficient too, so even when I'm in a rush I find I'm never waiting long for my drink.

Lovely drinks and friendly staff, only downside was they weren’t playing any music so it felt a bit quiet. Definitely would go back and the subscription element is defo a shout if you spend a lot on coffee

This place is amazing, staff are amazing and it has an awesome atmosphere and ample plug sockets for working etc. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Lovely place, very chilled. There is lots of seating upstairs and down. The coffee is great, but I never have the cakes as they are very pricey.

Great organic coffee and a delicious Bakewell tart to accompany it. The service is fabulous and such a pleasant atmosphere.

Nice coffee.Seats upstairs - not for the less mobile as a lot of steps. It does annoy me to see people wanting a table and one person sat at a table for four on a laptop ! Drinks had long gone cold and taking up a table.They should be asked to leave.Drinks rather pricey.

Called in for coffee and cake. Service was good. Busy but found a seat. Bit pricey but cappuccino was well made and croissant fresh.

Called in for a bit of breakfast while on a shopping trip. Good value for money although the coffee was rather strong today.

We use this café a lot and have also recommended it to friends, However every time we look for a table there are always people using a table for 4 to do their office work or college work, not just for a short time (which is ok) but for hours on end. Why do the staff allow this ???

Visited for lunch with my daughter who is vegan lots of choices and staff were attentive cause I had coffee with milk and she had soy they double checked to make sure that was right Can’t wait to visit again

Popped in for a coffee as one does and noticed it's been tidied up and had a lick of paint.....but why paint all the shop and leave the red signage but as it was previously ??? Budget maybe but doesn't make sense....coffee lovely btw.

We visit pret a lot and Leicester is our local one however it is the worse one by far.I cannot fault the food as the standard is always good however I am getting really fed up of going in there and getting attitude from the staff. Several times they have been rude to me and they just don't seem happy to be there or want to look after their customers. Today the foreign lady behind there didn't even seem to want to put our food on a tray and she gives off a vibe which makes you feel you shouldn't be there. I have never experienced this in any other pret but I think I'm going to avoid for a while until they go on a customer service course.

I was there two days and it was all perfect, avocado and shrimps salad was gourmet food and also the chicken and boiled eggs salad was perfect. Service is quick and all the team is efficient and smiling. Best place to eat healthy food.

I visit every other day for lunch. The whole team are very professional and welcoming. This is my oasis of peace for half an hour when I can get away from the office. Highly recommended

Conveniently located near city centre it’s great to have a break, coffee, and cake. It’s the same ware you get at every Pret A Manger. It’s clean, good service but again it’s its location that a big plus.

For the past few weeks this pret has had a toilety smell as you walk through the door.

Great food lots of healthy choices vegan gluten free etc nice staff relaxed atmosphere definitely recommend for a quick meal or meeting friends

Organizations like this deserve support since they have a wonderful charitable edge - they donate and distribute all leftover food to the homeless. Regardless the food is high quality, imaginative, fresh and tasty. Seating is comfy - you can lose an hour easily whilst consuming tasty food treats and quality drinks. Marvellous!

Love that Pret make their food fresh and the sandwiches do taste fresh. I had my favourite chicken club, it was great. My friend said her got chocolate was the best she’d had. Loos accessed by a code but very tiny, could have been cleaner.

Great cafe all over the country for good ethics and clean food - sorry that my local one is a bit lackadaisical in table clearing, shelf stacking and smiling! The latter was especially noticeable yesterday-although my coconut milk flat white was very good-none of the staff were their usual friendly selves-maybe just an off day! Not usually keen on chains but this is a good one.

Large Pret which has a real buzz about it. Normal range of food backed by friendly staff who are chatty and make you feel at home. Well worth a visit.

The only coffee house I go to when in town. Lots of seating upstairs and down. Sandwiches are all fresh and made on the premises on the day.A lovely variety of sandwiches and cool healthy drinks as well as great coffee.

Another lunchtime visit for coffee and sandwiches. Great range of food hot and cold and some sweet treats. Quick and friendly service restaurant nice and clean. Highly recommend.

Wherever in the country I work, I happily go to a Pret for breakfast and lunch.

I always come here for breakfast after the gym or for lunch because they have really good healthy options. I'm vegetarian and pret has some very interesting and tasty choices. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is chilled.

I would recommend coming here on quiet afternoons or early mornings, otherwise it's busy towards lunch time. They do amazing soup called vegetable tagine it's one my favourite and filling too!

I had a very nice email from Pret about a complaint I sent, the email they sent me said they where sorry for my bad experience in there Leicester store and would like my postal address so they could send a voucher of good will, I did reply with the details and they HAVE not honoured there email I have received NOTHING,, so I have give my details to be used for other reasons, what a con !!!!!!

A good reception from staff, good coffee. Baby change facilities closed, forced to change a baby's nappy on the floor of a filthy toilet cubicle upstairs, which included a toilet with no seat and ingrained filth around the floor.

My family made a weekly visit to Pret in Leicester today, usually we are consistently happy with our lunch time snack and drinks.... today was another story. After sipping my mocha I realised it wasn't its usual temperature. I returned to a young lady called Aania, she snapped at me and asked whether I wanted more hot water or milk, I asked if I could have a mug rather than a paper cup, also if she could remake the drink. She rudely brought over a dirty mug and said "Do you want this dirty mug?" I obviously said, "No could I have a clean one please?" She grunted and said, "suppose you want another paper cup then?"

I visit pret A Manger quite often at least once a week and i am dissapointed that their coffee tasted blunt and weak on my last two visits. The reason is in the way of preparation as i am working with coffee machines myself and i think the new staff there should get some better coffee training there before they go behind the machines and bar

friendly staff, but mainly non english, tables clean, fast service, can get full 12-2pm, no hassle to leave if you want to take your time to drink or eat your order, go there often

My usual haunt when in Leicester. Very busy but plenty of seating and a nice atmosphere. Staff efficient and friendly, food & coffee good.

Unhelpful, uninterested and unprofessional staff show the rotten interior to an otherwise lovely cafe. Showboating as a more upmarket cafe, the atmosphere and staff here show a low end approach to customer care which brings in to question the prices they choose to charge for what in my case was a half made hat chocolate and a lukewarm meatball panini. Although we had requested cream with the chocolate we received one drink with the dregs of the canister floating in it and a half hearted apology with the other as they had no cream to put on it. Then after asking if they could rewarm my meal. I was told it was as hot as it would ever be as I had removed it from a slightly warm shelf. Both things that could be ignored if not for the unfriendly and forced interaction from the woman behind the bar. Not what I would have liked after paying close to £13 pounds for the mentioned items and nothing else. Ill think twice before walking in this door again.

been here few time , the staff very rude spically the manager with black hair , asked he if she can cook more falafel wrap she in ver rudlly face she said not , i ordered lemon cacke was very very dry , all the staff talking in polish with out not respect to the coustomer ,

I visited Pret A Manger almost 3 times a day every 2nd day when moved to Leicester. I liked the decoration, the variety of sandwiches, the fresh fruits you can pick anytime.

Such a good place to relax and watch the world go by. Visit 3 to 4 times a week. Whilst not eaten here there is an excellent selection of drinks, good variety of snacks and possibly the cheapest filtered coffee of any cafe in the city being only 99p. Good place to sit in the street also

The food was tasty, as ever in this chain. Place was clean and we were served quickly. I wish they wouldn't play background music no one listens to.

Went in with my sister to get a drink whilst out shopping. The lad at the till was polite and friendly when we ordered our skinny hazelnut lattes to go. We got to the section where drinks are made and the blonde lady making the drinks looked in a foul mood. Abrupt and not at all pleasant. We just grabbed our drinks and left, got to the the clock tower and tried our drinks and they were just plain lattes. We didn't have the energy to go back and complain. Had the drinks but they had to be the worst lattes we have ever tried. Better off sticking to Starbucks and Costa Coffee!

This was the best in leicester, then MAGDA moved , gone down hill fast.young girl with long hair making the coffee, she needs more lessons!! others make good coffee.most of the staff are Polish,they only speak english when they need to

This is a new location for Pret A Manger so was pleased to try them in Leicester, Great cafe, good friendly & helpful staff. really enjoyed my coffee & baguette. Recommend this as a nice place to relax and take a break while shopping in Leicester.

I work some days of the week from very next door. Good place for a quick lunch and a meeting. I like their coffee. Sandwiches and wraps are good too. Staff are very friendly. You dispense your own tap water.

I have visited here a couple of times while shopping in Leicester and always had good service and standard of food. I enjoy their range of healthy foods which have always been tasty and freshly made. Not the cheapest option for a snack but certainly enjoyable.

I love pret as you know you can always pick up a freshly made sandwich that hasn't been sitting there for a couple of days. I love how the salad or the avocado hasn't gone soggy sitting on the bread.

We thought we'd try a different watering hole for lunch today, & so tried Pret a Manger. Unfortunately we found that they keep no bread or wraps which are gluten free. A shame as the café has a pleasant layout & ambience, plus the staff were fine too. They have gluten free soups, but no bread to go with it!

No matter which pret you go to... be it in London or Leicester you know what you are getting.

A good place for ambience and coffee etc However now points cards have been withdrawn , we were going in 3 to 4 times a week for their mine pies and hot drinks which were fabulous. Also wifi very erratic upstairs. PLEASE BRING BACK LOYALTY CARDS!

Glad to have a Pret in Leicester. The fact the food is made on site is a big draw and with fresh tasty ingredients.

Like most of "Prets," the friendliness and human-ness of their staff make a visit very pleasurable. This has a very cosmopolitan feel, with a stylish interior. Our sandwiches were excellent, and the coffee tasty. I'm not sure how long it's been open, but my guess is, it will stay for a very long time.
