Always a great meal, to be had here, they serve tapas if you are not too hungry, but my friend and I had the pork belly which just melted I. Your mouth, the apple sauce was a great compliment along with the vegetables. Really enjoyed this meal. Their wine selection was also worth a look. Dessert, I had the Earl Grey cake which was a chocolate infused cake, with cream on the side, not being one who always eats dessert, this was a really good ending to the meal, as it was just the right texture and sweetness for me. 10 out of 10 Leinster Bistro keep it up.

Overall this was not a great experience. The food was highly over priced for the quality of it. The menu was very limited. We thought the restaurant had been new and improved but it was the same old set up and atmosphere was off! Wouldn’t recommend, especially considering the price of everything!

Today I had lunch with a friend here. The food was very pleasant, the wine lovely, but the service was Exceptional. We were so well looked after it would certainly encourage me to go back. Thank you to a lovely lady who looked after us - Thank you Donna we really appreciated your service.

No longer a place to go - nothing like the original restaurant and will not last 5 minutes for all the regular guests. Take the website down immediately as it is misleading. A dreadful experience and will never return. Terrible menu.

Really excited as we had heard it had been brought by new owners and was now a Spanish cuisine restaurant. Go in, exactly the same restaurant as it was previously, same seating and booths, same paintings, same bar. The waitress comes over with water and menus. No Spanish meals on there at all, Dad asks her why there are no Spanish meals on the menu, she replies with, "we're doing really small changes with the whole restaurant????. I ordered the steak and it comes with one option, I asked her what they were and the waitress replies, "Broccoli and Chips", I said that's fine. Food comes out only with the Broccoli and no chips, I asked where they were and she replies with, "oh sorry I said Broccoli or chips", even though I had said to her when I ordered that I would like a Steak, Broccoli and Chips. Bearing in mind the presentation of the food was very small and very basic for what they are priced at, the steak was just sitting on the plate with some drizzle on the side, that's it! . Not good enough, staff are clueless and the owner was just walking around the restaurant staring at everyone and acting very weird, he clearly has no idea on how to run a restaurant. No cutlery at the table and no salt and pepper????. Finally, ordered the cheesecake and get given a spoon you would find on the side when getting a coffee cup and saucer?. Overall I recommend that people considering going should definitely stay well away and find another restaurant to go to. Very sad to see a very well-run Bistro with excellent food and staff go from so well and now have new owners and everything be terrible.

could feel the tension between the owner and the waiters working, witnessed the old owner man yell at a waitress for not asking a table if they wanted drinks, poor girl looked stressed already as was a busy night. also owner sat with two tables as they ate they're meals and would not leave them alone forcing small talk and making a scene in small bistro. uncomfortable environment would not eat here if you wish to comfortably drink wine or eat dinnner

4 of had a lovely dinner, our waitress Donna, was totally awesome, what an asset she is to your business. Soup with the most delicious home made bread for one, 2 of us had the fish of the day, one lasagne and another the risotto which was declared amazing. We shared a creme brûlée and a cheesecakes, with a lovely wine it was a perfect venue for a perfect night, prices were reasonable.

Spent a relaxing enjoyable evening with family friends. The service was attentive and efficient - and the extensive menu was well priced. The French Onion Soup was amazing but the Vietnamese Crab and Prawn did lack a little taste and substance - smaller rolls with less noodles and more vegetables/meat would fix this. All in all the comfortable seating and very good service made for an enjoyable night.

Too many options on a menu can spell trouble, but not here. Between the four of us we had pork belly, steak, fish and chips and vegetarian lasagne. All meals were well presented and enjoyed. The side booths, where we sat are large and comfortable. We all commented that it was an easy dinner to talk over as the restaurant is not too loud. Add friendly service and it's a winner.

Again a lovely evening with great food, excellent service and a good friend. Cannot recommend this restaurant more

Irish waitress is the best part, she is quite good. The food we thought was average, atmosphere was average nothing special about having a meal in wide open setting. For a slow night the food took quite awhile to get out and then was not that great. Not bad at all, just as the other couple with us stated- "I can make this at home". The staff were very nice and especially the nice Irish lady.

Went on a Tuesday night, early 5:30. There was only 1 waitress on who incidentally was lovely. We ordered a bottle of wine, she came back 10 mins later to say they didn’t have it, ordered another one, didn’t have it... in the end she told us what they did have and we chose from there. Food was ok, presentation not great, I feel like it was just a bit stuck in the 90’s. The menu was huge which always worries me slightly, wondering about freshness of product. Sorry to say I feel like this place has gone downhill a little bit in recent years.

A great restaurant with a wide variety of dishes from very different cuisines from around the world. All were prepared beautifully.

The wait staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. The food was great. There was a bit of a mix up over one dish which we ordered as an entree but came as a main. The staff were very apologetic and only charged the entree price. The creme brûlée was superb as ever. Will definitely be back!

A wonderful lunch enjoyed by all.We began with shared chicken liver pate with fine bread and chutney.I then had the cream of broccoli and bacon soup with sourdough bread ten out of ten,followed by the generously filled prawn crepe with herb and parmesan cheese-- all very tasty.Others chose for mains BBQ pork ribs with chips and salad, Thai beef salad, and salmon omelette and all were given a good tick.The waitress was very attentive and helpful regularly replenishing our iced water and our choice of wines were most satisfactory.We all finished with an Affogato dessert. beautiful.

On arrival staff could not initially find booking made and confirmed a week in advance.Once meals arrived, two of the four were terrible. Not as ordered, watery and bland. Solution offered was a dish of curry paste to liven the food. Overall a very disappointing and overpriced celebration dinner with friends. Will not be back.

Este es un buen restaurante con un buen menú y las comidas que recibimos estaban bien. El paté para empezar estuvo bien presentado pero no fue una gran parte. Tuve la ensalada de carne que estaba bien, pero no tan bien presentada y le faltaba un poco por falta de ingredientes en el plato. Mi esposa tenía la panceta de cerdo que nuevamente estaba bien preparada pero era bastante pequeña y podría haber sido mucho mejor con más atención al detalle. We had a fantastic meal at Leinster Rd Bistro. We have been here three times and the food is always top notch. Wonderful service and nice atmosphere with lovely dinner music playing in the background also. The food is always exceptional, nicely plated and a really good menu to choose from.

I had several meals there and I always enjoyed it. The service is fantastic, my meals were delicious and the atmosthere is a pleasure to relax after a long day.

The meal and service was first class and all at a very realistic price. The bistro is pleasant and unpretentious with a varied menu and a wine list which is well chosen and not outrageously priced.

We ate here dinner here with our 2 kids . Everything was good but the duck was inedible, it was undercooked, chewy and fatty so couldn’t eat it, settled for a potato cake and couple leaves of micro greens and pomengranite seeds. Not what you would expect for a $39 meal especially when it was recommended by the waitress. Mentioned to the waitress but no acknowledgement.

I had the beer battered Gurnard,chips and coleslaw and my colleague had the Thai beef salad.We had a side of excellent steamed Veges and extra chips.The food was very tasty and the young waiter was most attentive checking on us on 3 occasions.Loved the alcove seating.

First time dinning here for dinner , as have not been for at least two years , place was lovely and warm , very good table service , mains were very nice and came out quickly , the waitress did many checks to ensure your wine was good , and also checked to ensure we were happy with our meal , just a really nice meal in a very relaxing surroundings , will return .

Great food and generally good service. Starter and main prices reasonable for Christchurch but charged extra for extra bread for pate (never enough given). Corkage is excessive - $14 per bottle.

I had a family dinner here with friends some time ago. It was excellent. The food was very delicious and in our party we had some quite specific dietary requirements which were happily met by the kitchen and waitstaff without demur. The décor is quite simple and modern. It's opposite St Georges Hospital, just off Papanui Road, so it's conveniently located for street parking and public transport options.

Had a lovely night out with excellent service and food. Lots of choices for the 86 year old and the teenager and everyone else in between!

Ideal venue with comfortable booths for chatting with friends. Service is attentive and timely without being intrusive.

Table of four for evening dining. We had two people in our party with food allergies and the team were great. Several trips to the kitchen and everything was sorted promptly. The food was good and nobody had any complaints.

Great atmosphere and staff, however the meals are very small and overpriced. Been twice in a couple of months - tried different meals, even adding an extra side, but not good value for money. Cheesy garlic bread a winner though. Also BYO a winner, but the size & choice of meals let everything else down. We live locally and would frequent this restaurant if the meals were more substantial and better priced.

Our friends took us to this restaurant. They really like it. We loved it. Excellent atmosphere. Quiet enough to have an actual conversation. Great service and varied menu. No trouble catering to my wife's difficult dietary needs. The quality of the food was outstanding with decent portion sizes. Would highly recommend this for a wonderful night out

We had a seafood platter to share and it was delicious. The plate was big enough for two with a great range of seafood and fish. We finished our dinner with a really nice dessert each and we were full !

Comfortable surroundings, non intrusive background music. The food was as described, very tasty and well presented. The service was prompt and personable.

Experience started out well, unfortunately food didn't meet expectations. The halloumi salad had a very unusual taste of something not listed on the description, Waitress unable to provide any more information. I can usually eat anything, but meal was inedible. Was advised I could not have a refund but could swap it. Swap meant pay for another one in addition. Apparently nothing wrong with the food, was told it "didn't match my palette", the fish of the day I had instead was mushy and bland. All round a bad experience of what was to be a birthday celebration.

On a cold, wet week night, we were warm and cosy and well looked after with an early meal.

Once again we have been impressed by Leinster Rd Bistro. The dinner menu was varied and well priced, staff professional and attentive and surroundings pleasant - you didn't feel the need to wear your dinner suit and diamonds!!

It's been a little while since I have been here. However service and food where excellent A very tasty asian inspired pork hock and very nice beef Wellington Service was not intrusive in anyway and the staff are a real asset Will be back

Over the last year I have dined here a number of times and love the vibe, the food, wine and atmosphere. The meals never let you down and are the yummiest in town. I keep coming back.

The restaurant was pleasant and the service was great. The food was fine but no better than our local pub at twice the price, with less vegetables on the side. So while it was a nice dining experience we wont be back.

El personal era amable. Lo único que no nos gustó fue uno de nuestros postres. El tartín de ciruela era una pieza bastante simple de hojaldre cubierta con una cucharada de queso mascarpone, por debajo de la excelencia de todos los demás alimentos que teníamos. El otro postre que pedimos fue flan, y fue perfecto.

Booked a table for 8 at 7pm on February 14th after looking at their menu on line thought it looked good. When we got there at 7pm restaurant was full then and we were given a set men for the night at $75 per head for 3 courses.(never advised this when booking.)

Nice quiet setting that you can talk with ease and very good level of decor, great menu choice, friendly and helpful staff. We had meals of a high standard and very much enjoyed our evening meal. On top of this we could even use our Entertainment Book voucher.

Mi marido y yo teníamos el bistec y ambos estaban perfectamente preparados. Postres de buen tamaño y muy sabroso. Otra razón por la que regresamos a este restaurante es el hecho de que tienen cabinas y no hay televisión en marcha. Esto es ideal para clientes con problemas auditivos y hace que la conversación sea mucho más fácil

Bien temprano esta semana fuimos a Timaru, comimos corderos fritos y tocino, excelente comida. Hoy bien, está en el menú otra vez, simplemente increíble patatas, puré, patatas Timaru mejor, pero aún muy bueno, cordero frito cocinado a la perfección, tierna y salsa simplemente hermosa, la comida se presentó justo, otros platos ensalada de pollo, Ristoto , los amigos dijeron que fue genial, que vale la pena una visita.

Habíamos hecho una reserva para un cumpleaños especial y cuando hice la reserva me preguntó si estaba bien si nos llevamos una tarta y me dijeron que sin duda nos encanta cuando la gente trae torta". Me pareció estupendo y nos llegó la noche de lleno y nos llevaron a nuestra mesa que por desgracia estaba justo arriba de la cocina y camino a los aseos, así que teníamos el ruido del bar, cocina y diners toparse con nuestras sillas, no eran completamente lleno así otra mesa lejos de la cocina habría sería preferible. Nos debidamente ordenados y el personal era muy amable y salió que eran bien, nada emocionante, pero agradable. La camarera preguntó al borrar la mesa quieres tu pastel ahora, nos dijo que sí y ella debidamente iluminado las velas y cortar el pastel era el pastel, etc.- era muy rico super! Cuando fuimos a pagar la factura nos dimos cuenta que era un cargo de "tarta de cumpleaños $10". Nos preguntó y dijeron y cito "señora toma mucho tiempo y esfuerzo para el personal para poner los platos en la mesa para tu pastel". Me sorprendió bastante esto ya no estoy seguro de cómo poner placas laterales en la mesa requiere tiempo y un gran esfuerzo para el personal. Más importante, no nos dijeron en el momento que hice la reserva que habría una tarifa para placas para la tarta. Realmente decepcionante y hacer dinero claramente.

We joined friends at this restaurant last weekend. None of us had dined here before and were all suitably impressed when we walked in the door to a beautifully designed and decorated restaurant. We were welcomed immediately on entering by a very friendly staff member and seated in a very comfortable and spacious booth.

A friend selected Leinster Rd Bistro for a group dinner. The bistro is nice and it wasn't so busy and loud. We had a nice meal. Everyone seemed to enjoy their choices.

A first time lunch and the experience was pretty good. We each enjoyed a main, desert and a coffee.

My wife and I visited recently and enjoyed our meals however we felt the food was over priced. Atmosphere is peaceful allowing for conversation by not being too noisy. Bistro is spacious and not overcrowded. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Wine and beer list was ok.

First time visit for lunch with a guest for her Christmas treat. Great service, good food, decor and comfort. Guest had a chicken salad that was too big for her to finish. S had spiced lamb and I had lamb's fry (liver on the menu). It was one of the best renderings of liver and mash I've had around town. Instead of a dessert, I sweetened up with an iced chocolate, cream and ice cream; yum. Total for three seniors = $90.00 including non-alcoholic drinks.

Every time I fly to Christchurch I catch up with a very dear friend of mine. She always ensures that we visit a different restaurant. This month was the Leinster Rd Bistro. What lovely ambience and the staff are very receptive to you arriving early. We do this so that we can chat. We both had a great meal, I had the fish and chips, they were very fresh and worth the order. Their wine list is also intriguing, with really good New Zealand wines available, we had a Central Otago Pinot Gris, called Saddle Back, this wine was absolutely divine as was our meals.

I had a nice lunch here with friends, it wasn't busy and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was good, but not exceptional. Average prices for ChCh. I would visit again.

Came here or a family dinner too celebrate a Birthday. First impressions are excellent. Quietly understated setting and somewhere you can have a conversation and the background noise is subdued and unobtrusive. I was very happy with my meal - pork belly and dessert. My wife wasn't completely sold on her meal but enjoyed the atmosphere and we would all definitely come back again. For a place that gives the atmosphere of being a better dining experience than average, the only minor niggle I would have was the paper napkins. Service pleasant. Will return again!

4 hermanas y socios asistieron a la cena aquí y tengo que decir que era bastante normal. La panceta de cerdo era de extremo a extremo y mientras grasos licitación no era sabroso. La ensalada de invierno parecía colorida y sabrosa. informó Los filetes se veía bien, aunque estaba claro que los dos ordenados habían mezclado en la entrega a la mesa. Nos gusta la cena y este no cumplió con mis expectativas.

Este es, sin duda, un restaurante con una clientela más madura, en veinte años y años treinta éramos los más jóvenes allí por un tramo.

Mis vecinos nos trajo aquí para cenar, así que llamé y les pre-advertido que era un vegetariano, y en la noche me preguntaron mis gustos. Hicieron este estilo absolutamente delicioso ragout marroquíes, como dije me gustó seriamente cálidas y secas. La próxima vez que te pide mucho más calor, pero aún así era encantadora. Cuidaron de mi padre 90 años locos muy bien, nuestro camarero era fabuloso, nos trataron como a la realeza, y mi padre fue rey por un día. Es muy interesante!

Hemos de ser ir al restaurante durante años. . . . sabemos que es imprevisible. Por desgracia, esta noche fue una importante se pierda. El pescado olía muy viejo y extra" sospechoso". Que eran bastante desagradables cuando les dijimos de mala gana para la comida era no es comestible. Me trajo una ensalada de hojas y aún nos cobraron por ambos. Si estás buscando un restaurante que está en el punto de cada noche, esto definitivamente no es. Es decepcionante cuando vas a cenar fuera y esperar tener una comida que es por lo menos comestible.

Nos esperábamos un gran tiempo aquí. Nuestra última noche en la Isla del Sur. El restaurante estaba recomendado por nuestros anfitriones, así que nos pareció que sería genial.

Visit quite regularly for either coffee or lunch. Good for a conversation as tables/booths are well spaced apart.

Everyone enjoyed their food, which was beautifully prepared and presented. Service was good, and there was an interesting varied selection on the menu. It was rather expensive, and limited opening hours mean we won't be able to return as often as we would like, but we will return.

Would have to be one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. Excellent service, quiet atmosphere and absolutely superb food. Do yourself a favour ( and your taste buds ) and go!

Walked into a relaxing, quiet and spacious restaurant. Sat in a large and comfortable booth. We had an assortment of entrees to share and they were amazing. The croquettes were divine. There was also some delicious tarts and dumplings. The kumara chips were light, tasty and crunchy. For my main, I had the salmon with feta ravioli and beetroot. The salmon was cooked to perfection! The service was excellent. It was a wonderful night and I left feeling content. Thank you.

A. Dry good night, the service, waitress from France was very good, she was there when required, helpful as well. The food was excellent, I had squid as entree, main was the fish of the day, so nice and prices were good.

We had a family dinner here - 17 of us ranging from 8 to 80. Everyone enjoyed their evening . The service was excellent, staff friendly & the food delicious. Definitely be back.

Lovely ambiance, could talk without lots of background noise and the food was delicious. Wine selection had one of my favourite wines (at a good price).The Groper was superb.

Nice casual dining experience. Large sunny windows and lovely painted decor on the walls. I went for a light lunch of soup, coffee and dessert. All were very well prepared, especially the creme brulee'. The waitresses checked on me frequently and were prompt to attend to my requests. They also filled in for each other when one was busy. There was a family with young, lively children next to me, and they managed to keep them entertained and happy, whilst attending to other customers.

Were invited to lunch and found service and food wanting.I had the Bacon Bagel and it was tough like it was last weeks. The bacon was hard and over cooked and overall very disappointing. The meals only saving grace was the bowl of fries which were hot and well cooked. No more lunches for me there.

The food was delicious but the portions were very small. My dad had a steak and it only cane with chips, no vegetables which was a bit disappointing. I had the fish if the day, very yummy but was still hungry afterwards.

Waited an hour for mains. Thank goodness we had some olives to nibble on. The restaurant was less than half full so not sure why it took so long. Vegetables didn't arrive with mains - we had just about finished. So we said not to bother. Even though we didn't get them they still charged us. The service was slow and unfriendly. Will probably not return.

Four of us very much enjoyed our meal last night at the Leinster Road Bistro. Menu well thought out and great choices. Meal cooked well, lovely flavours and well presented. Ambience pleasant, no loud music or rowdy patrons. All very pleasant.

we went for dinner last week for our anniversary. The atmosphere wasn't too bad, although if the music was turned up a smidgen (not to make it hard to hear, but to not be overheard, ) would be good. the choice of music was gentle and easy. The food was very tasty, but the service was terrible. The staff were friendly, but from wine menu, to ordering wine on 2 separate occasions, entrée, main, and dessert we had to call the waitresses over every singe time. we were in the main path so they should have been noticing each time they walked by. many times they went so fast we had to wait until they returned to another table so we could grab them, and they would plonk things so quickly we didn't have time to make another request before they were gone. the owner/manager was there the whole time standing at the bar and he should be noticing things like this. it was not overly busy so this could not be used as an excise for the poor service.The food was very good apart from this.

Had a lovely meal for 4. We all had something different and all were beautifully presented and tasted even better. Not enormous meals but just right for us as we could then have dessert which was also great. Very good service and nice atmosphere, and nice and clean. All made for a very relaxing meal out and we weren't rushed out the door when we were finished. Will definitely be returning.

Ambience warn welcoming with room to move and have a conversation while enjoying fantastic food. Can't speak highly enough of the quality of the food. Great night out as a couple or a group.

Our meals were faultless and the decor and atmosphere just beautiful but the clearly inexperienced waitstaff let down our experience at the Bistro.I had booked weeks in advance and requested a booth. We were given the one closest to the drafty door and as there were no other diners at that time, I asked if we could sit a bit further back. Was told we couldn't. Fifteen minutes later a group of three arrived for coffee only with no reservation and they were seated straight away in a booth we had requested.Our table of two waited 45 minutes for our meal, while other tables around us who had arrived later were served mains. The young waitress asked us about half an hour in what our order was again, which didn't bode well. Once our meals did arrive, we were offered no apology. My partner had the linguine pasta which is difficult to eat with a knife and fork - we would've asked for a spoon had anyone passed by and asked us how our meal was. But no one did. The food, as I said was absolutely superb and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Once they sort out their customer service, I will no doubt return.

Good ribeye, great Caesar salad and the soup of the day was fab( mushroom) . But the place hasn't much to,offer. There are other places in town much better. Cozy booths that are fun with a large group. Just ok on everything....

We were a big group. 20. We had to wait 2 hours for food. We arrived at 10.30 am for brunch and were never offered an explanation other than oh well your a big group. Oh well don't take us then. Very very disappointed. Will not be back and word of mouth works best in these situations.

Great atmosphere. You can hold a conversation without telling at each other. Food average. We had the fish on bean puree quite bland, lacked substance and as I am vego asked for no chorizo but got it just the same.

I went to the Leinster Road Bistro with a small group of clients and we had a very pleasant meal in a really pleasant, understated and enjoyable environment. The restaurant has a series of very comfortable plush red booths. There are a few fairly noisy and raucous dining places in Merivale and it is great to find a quiet and pleasant ambiance. Service was attentive without being intrusive, the food was very nice - not fine dining but hearty, flavourful and enjoyable. I had the steak and chips with café de Paris butter which was perfectly cooked rare as ordered. The Parika Chicken and Venison Osso Bucco also went down very well. A very nice dining experience in a quiet and pleasant environment with good service and very nice food. Oh yes....the coffee was great too!

Lovely menu with a good variety of food choices - attentive staff, continued our outdoor pre dinner drinks sitting outside for dinner.

The duck pate was delicious! My friends had the soup and said it was delicious! I ordered a blue steak and it came as a medium rare! I sent it back and it came back rare! I did ask could they do a blue steak and they said they could! But not for me on this occasion! My friends ordered ice cream and the potion was good but we were surprised to see a sorbet on there! Overall a pleasant evening

Had a fantastic time dining at the Leinster last night...all five of us had different mains and each was delicious, we shared starters...also delicious...and the desserts divine!!!The waiting staff were all lovely without being overbearing, attentive and friendly. Great winelist...would thoroughly recommend...and did I mention the delicious food,

I dined here last night and it was fantastic. The meals were delicious, the service attentive and the décor lovely, esp the Henri Rousseau paintings. I can't wait to try out their brunch menu next time I return.

This is one of our regular haunts and never disappoints! Our girls night out needs to be somewhere we can talk easily, must have good food that represents value for money and have a comfortable ambience. We all agreed this scored highly on all three. Two of our party had the Venison Osso Buco which was declared excellent, another the Beef salad and I had Lamb cutlets. All dishes satisfied our expectations and with sides of beans and almonds, fries (which were generous) and a green salad which was surprisingly very small and uninspiring, we had plenty to eat. For dessert two of us shared a Creme Brulee, one had Panacotta and another an Afagato. With BYO wine and a 25% Entertainment Book coupon,the bill was a very palatable $43 per person. We will be back!

Had family luncheon here on Sunday, as my mother and I have often lunched here in the past. The food, sadly, was very mediocre ie, overcooked steak, small portion of fish. Our waitress was foreign, and made absolutely no effort to help us in choosing wine. She blankly stared at us as we tried to order champagne, and in fact bought out a bottle of still wine after I had ordered glass of bubbles. She then kept me waiting 15 minutes to bring correct beverage, while the rest of my family had theirs. There was only one other table of people there, yet we waited almost an hour for our food. Had to flag down another waitress for more drinks, as our waitress left us and never came back to our table. Doubt we will be back. I highly recommend that they have staff that understand English and actually want to be there.

We had a delightful meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were treated to a splendid meal and fantastic service from a delightful Argentinian waitress. Can highly recommend this restaurant.

We were served by a fabulous foreign girl (fleur i believe her name was), which was the only redeeming part of our visit.The mocktails were over priced and underwhelming. The man behing the bar (i assume the owner) was strutting around with his coffee cup full of wine, bothering diner. Lose the attitude mate....you're in merivale NOT New York. We won't be back!

Service was good but the pea and bacon risotto was dry and not the texture it should be. Pork belly was great and good wine selection. Won't be in a hurry to go back.
