Arrived at 11pm on a Sunday - no onsite parking. The closest (paid for) car park is about a 3 minute walk away, but walking from the car park to the hotel at night isn't fun. When trying to pay for parking via the Ringo app it only allows me to pay until 5am! The staff show no empathy and have a very 'not my problem' attitude. UNIMPRESSED!

Arrived during a busy period. Thankfully, a member of staff assisted with our booking in and getting our key. Central location with car park close by. Keep an eye out for the turn-off to the car park. Otherwise, you have to go all the way round again.

Situated in the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells, the location is very good. There is also ample, reasonably priced, public parking a short walk away . Check-in was fuss free and the room nicely sized. Double beds are huge and comfy but cleaning in the bathroom wasn't brilliant. One light was defective but the room was okay. The biggest downer for me was the fixed, permanently closed window, which prohibits you from getting fresh air into the room. I've never experienced a hotel that does this. I'm a big fan of fresh air when sleeping and you cannot open the window even a few inches. Consequently the room became too warm and stuffy resulting in a naff sleep. I always avoid breakfast because, at nearly £11 each it's simply too expensive.

Was here on the 21st of January in business. Room is quite spacious and the bar is lovely as well as the restaurant. After a long trip it’s a lovely place to relax for the ongoing prices. Staff is polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend for staying

Unfortunately, the room was a little run down with some peeling paint and the sheet had a dubious stain. For such a profitable business they are yet to update to Smart TV's in the rooms. I'm in my 40's and even at my age - I enjoy hotels with connectivity, YouTube and Netflix account access - instead, I was held hostage to TV license propaganda channels. The hotel overall was really what you expect from a premier inn. Clean and well-presented. The restaurant served fairly decent food and the two ladies who were working that night were great. It advertised parking when I booked but it only has disabled spaces and a pickup point. Luckily I ditched my car close by for free.. but otherwise, it's a pay-and-display car park down the road. Overall a fairly decent hotel with some small issues on upkeep and housekeeping in the rooms. Dated - now. Has an air of the late 1990's in formality and room amenities as previously mentioned.

I've stayed in a lot of Premier Inns and this is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a review. If you've not stayed in a Premier Inn before, I usually choose them because the beds are of a high quality, the rooms are always clean and the buffet breakfast is top quality. Most Premier Inns have a few non-guests pay for their breakfast buffet in the mornings, I think they're one of the best-kept food secrets. So these things being good was no surprise. But this one really went the extra mile, so I wanted to talk about it. The staff here really are the best hospitality I've experienced in the UK for many years. I was travelling with my parents (70s) and the staff were so helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate all of us. - Chloe at breakfast helped with directions to a local attraction. My parents prefer paper maps and she actually went and printed off directions for them, far above and beyond what you'd expect. - A blonde Ukrainian lady checked us in, served dinner and breakfast with a smile and a joke, she was so engaging and warm. It was like being welcomed by a friend who really wanted us to have a nice stay. - other members of staff helped with directions to car parking, opened doors, made sure my vegan diet was catered to and that my parents were looked after. There was an overall vibe that nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to all the staff here for making our holiday to Tunbridge Wells so memorable.

The customer service at this hotel was not just unhelpful—it was outright rude. The staff showed a complete lack of care and disregard for any concerns raised. The greeting received upon arrival was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Premier Inn, sort your staff out.

Some rooms are not so good. Basic accommodation our room had literally brickwalls as a view from the lightweight window. But for a single night, was adequate. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, (Additional £10.50pp) freshly cooked and plentiful. Tea, coffee and juices included.

It was the worst experience as a guest that i had in a hotel. The staff wasn’t friendly, the manager was RUDE when I tried to complain about a housekeeper noise at 07:50 using vacuum afront of my door, so disrespectful. The “ good night guarantee “ is a big lie, they don’t keep the word, if you send a e-mail to the guest relationship, they will NEVER give you a refund, even if you have rights! Never more i’ll stay in this hotel! NEVER!

I booked Premier Inn Tunbridge Wells for a stay during a table football tournament, representing my country. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was their breakfast offering and their "Good Night Guarantee," as we needed early starts each day. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what was promised. Upon arrival, we discovered that the restaurant was closed due to a rat infestation. This not only meant no breakfast but also raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel overall. The fact that a rat infestation was even an issue speaks volumes about the level of upkeep here. Despite this significant inconvenience, Premier Inn failed to honour their Good Night Guarantee and refused to offer a refund or any form of compensation. I’m left feeling completely let down, and given the circumstances, I can only give this hotel a negative review. If cleanliness and basic service standards matter to you, I would avoid this location at all costs.

Rude staff at check-in and complaint rejected on the "good night guarantee" despite being woken up in the middle of the night when one of the pictures on the room wall fell off due to a failed fixing. Poor maintenance at this hotel too. Stay elsewhere.

We have been a regular custer to these hotels around the UK . The restaurant service in the kitchen area was very slow causing on meal to be left... Delivery to the table was good.. Generally a thought some staff were clueless...

Filthy room, stank of mould, could not open the window, cobwebs next to the bed with spiders, yellow stained skirting boards, kettle water tasted of strong chemicals. Made me paranoid about what else was potentially disgusting. Staff were pretty useless, there is no customer parking and they just shrugged when asked where to park. Turns out there is a parking garage right next door, £2 overnight. Couldn't wait to get out of there, checked out early - that place still gives me shivers, avoid - pay the extra 20 quid and stay somewhere decent.

Terrible place; dangerous food. Only need to look at the below review of completely raw chicken served to a child to assure you to NEVER visit - and the response of basically “oh sorry we’ll have a chat with the staff” tells you all you need to know about their priorities and how seriously they take the (numerous) reported cases of food poisoning, particularly with chicken based meals. Couldn’t pay me to return.
