I ordered from here last night hoping it would be good and don't get me wrong, the Katsu curry was good (even though it took over 50 minutes to arrive to me when I'm around the corner) but the presentation was awful and it gave me the worst stomach ache as well as horrible diarrhea. I would honestly avoid this place again and advise everyone else too as well!

Ordered a few times and ate in once. Food is always good quality. Staff and atmosphere were both welcoming

Had sushi today, and it was a dreadful experience. Some portions had few fish, others had none at all. The rice was soggy, and the presentation was awful. complete waste of Money. If I would able to give 0 star I would!.

Had the fried salmon ramen and seaweed salad. Both were delicious and the ramen was packed generously with salmon, noodles, vegetables and half a boiled egg. The broth was delicious and not too salty. Really enjoyed my lunch today!

Spotlessly clean, very quick (literally a matter of minutes) and very nice flavours.

I ordered a takeaway delivery, I wanted to treat myself as I caught a flu right before New Year. They put no chopsticks and no tissues - I had to eat my sushi with a fork, my lunch experience on New Year’s Eve was ruined. I don’t understand — are chopsticks so expensive to put, given that I paid an extra service fee? Also all the sushi were pretty cold, even though I live 5 mins away from the restaurant 👎🏻

Niihaw is a great spot for a quick, reasonably priced bite to eat. It works more as a 'fast food' kind of place than a nice sit-down restaurant. I usually go for the teriyaki chicken with rice, which is simple, tasty and filling. The sides like gyozas are great too. On my most recent visit I had some salmon sushi (nigiri and avocado rolls) which were nice but nothing special, very average sushi. The strawberry bubble tea was lovely. The staff are fairly quiet and are often rushing around (to complete delivery orders it seems) but they're quick and friendly enough. It's far from the best spot in town, but it has its place and after three visits so far, I'd happily go there again.

Gave me food poisoning! My partner ate here with our toddler on Friday night and said the waiter was kind and brought our LO a free bowl of rice, but the portions were small and not very nice. He brought me back a takeaway poké bowl which I ate after work. I’ve had food poisoning for four days because of it. Its very lucky our LO didn’t get food poisoning as she’d have ended up in hospital. Clearly very poor hygiene standards in their kitchen.

Can I just make a suggestion to owner - poke bowls are meant to be quite a healthy option. I bought one from you today at £10 and it was completely covered in mayonnaise - which I absolutely hate. My lunch break is now over and I can’t go back to return it - I’ve just eaten whatever I can swallow and binned the rest. Very sad - totally covered in greasy fatty cream when it shouldn’t be/at least ask if we wanted sauce on top/side/not at all.

I tried ramen today and was not surprised. The soup base was too salty and the noodles were watery, but the service was OK.

I ordered sashimi tuna here for my mothers day treat as well as the ‘spicy’ not so spicy tuna dragon roll. It was not bite sized and some bits were a little bit hard. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in my life, my favorite thing to eat. This meal left me with food poisoning, thought I was dying. This was the only food out of the norm that I eat. So so sad that you can’t find good sushi here in tunbridge wells.

A Chicken and a Pork Ramen....truly awful...poor quality noodles..salty soup base with such a small amount of poor quality meat and ingredients not enough soup base and what there was was far too salty...the half an egg was also discoloured. Restaurant was cold and devoid of any ambiance. Never again a complete waste of £19.

Nice quiet Japanese eatery in the convenient located centre of town centre... Reasonably priced place to grab a quick bite to eat when on the move, you can either grab menu items from the fridge (which is obviously quicker) or if they don't have the dish you want on display they can make it for you which requires a short wait (along with hot dishes as well)... Varied items on the menu ranging from sushi/sashimi/tempura/dim sum/rice & noodle bowls... Friendly & attentive staff and overall a nice place to visit... 🍱🥡🥟🍣🍤🥢

Sushi looked beautiful and tasted good but not the best I’ve had and the place felt a little cold and lacking in atmosphere. Also no toilets which is strange for a dine in place. Great spot for people watching and sushi is good but I paid £20 for platter shown so not cheap either. Also soy sauce and wasabi all served in sachets even when dining in. Guess it’s more fast food than restaurant.

Delicious food, big portions and cozy place. I love to sit here with a wonderful ramen and just watch the world go by

Oh my goodness! I can only speak for the katsu curry but if you like katsu-this is the best I’ve ever eaten. I always go for the mix (chicken, prawn & pumpkin) and can highly recommended.

Niihaw is a fantastic place available for a quick but healthy and satisfying bite. There’s a great range of sushi (in comparison to other places in the area) and it’s genuinely not a bad quality. There’s a 10% TN card discount so that’s always great - they have a few tables for seating - relatively simple decor. They also have bubble tea on offer if interested but this is not something we have tried yet. As well as sushi, they also have other hot items such as gyozas and curries.

I had been to the sevenoaks venue before and the same level of quality was recieved here. I had pork chive dimsum and chicken katsu curry both great accompanied by the palate cleaning apple boba

The bubble tea/milk tea here is amazing! Not the greatest, but it's still amazing. Every other food is good or okay, over all it's brilliant!!

We popped in to see if they were open - they were but we didn't realise it was 10 minutes until they were closing and they were packing down for the day. We hate doing that and was going to leave but they very kindly said we could order food and that we could eat in which was super kind of them. We ordered ramen and it was amazing! We will certainly be back and I would definitely recommend them. Amazing food and wonderful service 💞

Very poor, sushi was not very nice at all and no teriyaki on the chicken skewers, very disappointed, was refunded via Deliveroo

Great food let down by awful service. We ordered for delivery on a Sunday evening and the food took over an hour and a half to arrive. The restaurant never answered their phone despite multiple attempts. When the delivery was finally made, half an hour after they shut, the sushi was missing and the rest of the food was stone cold. Unfortunately we will now be avoiding them in the future.

Good quality food, but this is the third time we have ordered takeway, we feel that their service is very slow. On each occasion we have waited between 45 minutes to 1 hour, and had to call up each time to see how long the food will be. Overall: good

The hygiene is good. The staff is very polite. The food is delicious. The price is reasonable. It is a restaurant worth going to. The barbecued pork is very delicious. Everyone can try it, 🥰🥰👍👍👍🍱🍣🍣🍣🥟🥟🍜🍜😊

This place is tooooo good proper nice food, some of the drinks are a bit strange but food is good and i would recommend. If you have 10 quid and want some banging food come here.

Want to help out a new local business and would come back for the freshly made sushi (8pieces), but not the ramen. I wasn't expecting London standards but the ramen was still below my expectation. Small portion even for that price. Maybe you should offer free boiling if the customers want to dilute the soup and soften the noodles a bit more and and allow the flavour paste to properly dissolve, just a suggestion. Hope your business does well in the future but no 5 stars from me.
