Can't fault the place, 3 of us went about 2 weeks ago and different things, all beautifull and then I've had to come back today to get the spaghetti polpetti, absolutley beautiful. Really nice staff and a lovley chilled out outdoor area. Highly recommend 👌🏼

Lovely lunch sitting outside in the sun trap garden. Good range of snacks and main meals. Decent prices and great quality. Very friendly and fun staff. Highly recommended.

My dad loves this little cafe as a place just to have a great lunch and treats himself by coming here every couple of weeks. My dad is hard to please with food....and boy, the food here is good. He had spaghetti al pomodoro and I had spaghetti polpetti and the taste stayed with me for the rest of the day - in a really good way: a mouthwatering sauce, with the sweetness of fresh basil leaves. I followed it with homemade mint choc chip ice cream - also amazing. The staff are friendly and obviously quickly get to know their customers. It's got a small terrace outside too. A real little gem.

Such a good find after visiting the Gormley statues on the beach. Staff were so friendly, down to earth and full of knowledge for our weekend in Liverpool! Really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you very much for the full bellies and laughs! x

First time visited, for a coffee n natter post yoga - fan-blummin-tastic!! The coffee was gorgeous, full-bodied and strong, just what we like. Steady stream of customers ordering food and drinks, all of which looked hot, tasty and freshly made. Excellent value and defo be popping in again. Thanks x

A lovely little cafe with friendly staff. Good selection of basic cafe foods, plus Italian dishes and ice cream, at reasonable prices. They were even nice enough to make me a fish finger sandwich, which wasn’t on the menu. Nice outdoor seating are as well as the indoor tables.

The guy rinses the coffee. Didn’t grind fresh beans just put the used wet grinds back on the machine. Only fully realised what he did after I left and tasted the coffee then thought back and remembered he hadn’t banged the wet grinds out or refilled it. Unbelievable

I might be a personal trainer but I am a chocaholic. Now I was in the area doing a property viewing and I saw the sign for real authenic Italian Ice Cream and I just couldn't resist. I went in and paid for two scoops of chocolate ice cream. Then when I ate it I felt as if I had been transported to Italy. If you've ever seen The Simpsons and heard Home say "mmm chocolate." That is exactly how I felt. That was true, authentic Italian ice cream and in those few minutes I was eating that ice cream I felt as if I was in Italy. I will make a point that any time I am in that area I'l try this again. So was it worth the money? Cheap at twice the price. Would I go there again? In a heartbeat. Would I recommend them to anyone else? Of course! Trust me you'll be shaken but not stirred.

Great place for lunch. Choice of freshly prepared sandwiches, toasties and more substantial Italian dishes. Friendly service, excellent value. Indoor and outdoor seating areas available as well as take out option.

Working in the area, called in to get a quick butty, had the Italian club and it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had, All food was so fresh and the prosciutto ham was amazing

The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. They even cooked  our food exactly how we asked for it, which is something that I really appreciate. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Pranzo Café. The food was lovely, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. Great little cafe we happened across with freindly staff. Cracking Full English which is just what the doctor orderd.

I've been coming here for years for lunches . Staff are very friendly and all food cooked fresh that day lovely place to grab something to eat or even sit in. Place has evolved so much and that says it all. A good service makes a business survive and excel, and that is what has happened here. Well done 👏

Very nice little cafe situated in Crosby just adjacent to the Crosby beach. Nice warm welcome from the staff and pleasing menu that attempts to deliver on all counts with the variety of meals on offer. They also have a very good outside dining area where on sunny days it's a delightful place to enjoy your coffee and sandwich.

Fantastic food, superb staff and a great atmosphere. There's plenty of choice, but I would happily live on the Italian Club Sandwich for every meal, every day.

My third visit there. The boss immediately knew what I wanted as he remembered I was a vegetarian and made me a delicious ciabatta toasted mozzarella and peppers sandwich and a lovely ciabatta humous, avocado and falafel one. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed them and can recommend them gladly.

I wandered up here from Crosby beach and was dying to eat some Italian style food and the ciabatta sandwich with mozzarella and peppers was so perfect. The staff were really friendly and talked to me about Sicily.

My go to cafe when I’m in area for car drop offs , excellent friendly service and beautiful sos and egg on toast my tipple . Made big fuss of me and my dog Theo , can’t recommend it too highly . Keep up great service. Norm wady, Childwall Liverpool

Visiting the area for the first time, we checked TA for a lunch spot. We found it easily enough, and it wasn’t quite what we were expecting, but the staff were friendly and efficient and our lunch was tasty and the hot drinks, needed on a chilly day, good too. We were initially the only customers, but it soon busied up with take away and various customers eating a very late breakfast or lunch. It was clean and warm

Wow this is a must to visit if you are in Crosby we were antique shopping and decided a cup of coffee was needed - this added to a toasted cheese and ham sandwich and a chapatti filled with chicken was just what was needed we sat in the outside area that was clean and the staff were wonderful

Pretty unfriendly bunch running this place ...seemed like we were intruding ordering from them! Not great from a cafe...

Very poor higiene! Not using gloves while making a sandwich taking all with bear hands ! Cheese peppers mozzarella disgusting ! We go through a pandemic and staff is not suing gloves while dealing with food ! Never again going to this place! The lady said I m clean on ha da ! Serious ??? Wake up people we live in a covid world where ppl get sick ! And u putting ur hand in my cheese and pickles ! I could not blv my eyes !!! Never again !

Great sandwich shop quality food good portions

We found Pranzo after a walk on the beach. We were made very welcome and seated in the outside seating area. All our food and drinks were delicious. Infact we were tempted to the Italian ice cream because are sandwiches and wraps were so delicious. The Ice Cream did not disappoint, we would recommend a visit to all and look forward to going back.

Never been before so I stopped by this morning for a latte as I’m working on a construction job near the restaurant (coffee is much needed at 7am), latte’s were strong&creamy which is how all coffee must be in my opinion lol loved them! noticed they did sandwiches,pasta boxes etc so decided to stop by for lunch also and my god they are fabulous, I’ve got a thing for tuna Mayo salad at the moment&the tuna Mayo from here is amazing. deffo 5stars from me&my colleagues :)

Stumbled upon whilst visiting Crosby. Very nice Italian style sandwich shop with a pleasant little terraced courtyard. I had the biggest club sandwich I've ever had. Good quality chicken and ham, my wife had a special crispy prosciutto with poached eggs on a toasted ciabatta. Coffee was also excellent. Staff very pleasant

Just bought hot chocolate, top was not fitting securely so came off all over my car and hand, very hot! I phoned the shop who said this hasn't happened before. Wish they would wear gloves or use tongs when handling sandwich fillings instead of using bare hands.

Just called in for a sandwich, loads of choice, but why do the staff make the sandwiches and handle the fillings with no catering gloves on?, the lady who made mine also had a diamond ring on and she didn't wash her hands before making the sandwich! . The bread was not nice, seemed like cheapish bread'OK in the middle but clearly going stale round the edges, if they used nice bread they would do more business, it makes a lot of difference.

Great place, the staff are incredibly friendly. The food was freshly made and generous with excellent prices. We sat in the lovely courtyard with our dog and the staff even brought water for her.

We happened upon Pranzo’s after walking on the beach. We were only looking for coffee but we were tempted by the lovely little courtyard, delicious menu and the fresh ingredients of the deli bar. Although a bit late for breakfast and a smidge early for lunch the friendly staff were happy for us to share a panini. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

Came for breakfast, price was good however this is because food products are low quality, toast tasted like the cheapest supermarket one, which is odd as I’ve been once before just for toast and it was lovely bread, sausages tasted like frozen and then deep fried, baby was solid and over cooked and the cutlery was awful! Shame as venue is nice and staff lovely, disappointed!

Lovely little cafe with friendly service and tasty food. Well priced and they didn’t mind changing a few items on the breakfast (I’m just fussy) food was fresh & piping hot. Not much indoor seating but if the weather is nice they have a lovely little garden outdoor patio. Very impressed & will be eating here again

Great service, great toast and great coffee. Not too far from Crosby baths so if you’re walking at the beach it’s a brilliant place to stop.

This is a really nice place to eat. Pasta meals are fab especially lasagne. Food made to order, staff lovely and helpful. Child menu and child friendly. Outside area is great too

Fui a una fiesta familiar anoche y los sándwiches fueron proporcionados por Pranzo. Se sirve sobre pan grueso, casi nada de relleno y muy insípido. Había platos de pan alrededor de la mesa mientras todos rompían sus bocadillos en pedazos. Muy decepcionante. No los recomendaría para catering exterior.

We order from here often, fabulous choice on menu, open kitchen, clean, friendly staff. The outside is also very lovely to sit and eat!!! They now deliver!! Katie-Jane x

He estado un par de veces para encontrar y nunca estoy decepcionado por la comida. Sin duda es la comida que me encantan! Sin embargo, es muy triste que el servicio de atención al cliente es tan malo y me pone a ir. Las camareras jóvenes son muy educados y agradables, sin embargo, algunos de los mayores e incluso el propietario camareras encontrado bastante desagradable. Parece que algunos empleados no quiere estar allí y el propietario ha hecho comentarios sobre el tamaño de la orden que han pedido dejandome auto consciente.

This is only a stones throw from where i live and after finally getting around to visit, sadly I would not return. The food overpriced and very small portions and the staff take they're smoking break outside the building as you walk past. Without even trying to disguise the uniform. Not pleasant when you are a non smoker with a child and have to walk past to actually get in the door.

Dropped in for lunch after a wet walk on the sands. Great menu inc proper pasta (owner is Sicilian) alongside bowls of scouse and generously filled toasties. Very good tea and coffee. Good value considering size of portions and quality of ingredients. Friendly willing service and very clean as and well run. Courtyard garden looked good too though it was too wet to sit and it's dog friendly. Lots of locals in for take-outs so obviously popular. All in all a place worth seeking out after you've had your fill of Mr Gormley's enigmatic statues along the shore.

We regularly go to Pranzo for breakfast. It's a small friendly place and the breakfasts are delicious and substantial. It has a very nice outside eating area where you can sit when the weather is nice. Can't fault this place at all.

We were looking for gluten free food even wasn't nothing in the menu they offered me a very nice omelet with chicken.. Service was very good, everything very clean and tasty...

Mi pedido 2 cajas de pollo ensalada de pasta china para llevar. Una vez que llegamos a la casa y nos dieron la comida estaba sorprendida que no sabía si era pollo o cerdo. Fue muy duro y seco de color y la ensalada de lechuga y pepino me fue pedido para todos ensalada. Cuando me llamó para traer la comida de vuelta no me podía creer lo que conseguí el teléfono hablado por el dueño de encontrar. Puedo decir sin duda que nunca volveremos debido a personal grosero y mala comida. Normalmente no uno a quejarse.
