As we are in the lockdown at the moment and cant go out to restaurants i thought i would take an afternoon tea over to my mums for her birthday. Really pleased with what powers did for us even lent us a cake stand. Great service, excellent price and had a takeaway coffee while i was there which was also very good.

This period, more than ever, has really made my wife and I realise much we value great locations- especially brunch food and coffee destinations at the weekend! Power’s has a great vibe and the food is superb, we visit for breakfast followed by too many oat milk flat whites. We have visited for a few Sunday roasts with family- book in advance as it’s popular. Service has always been friendly and welcoming, we love the fact that we can bring our family dog - it’s got a relaxed feel and there is also an outdoor garden at the back. We can’t wait to return once lockdown is lifted!

One way to describe just dirty and disgusting from my experience 4 weeks ago was bad All tasted off and the beef tasted half frozen then member of Foh told me they freeze the beef from previous week which would have already been cooked and they defrosted on the day plus add the shop night bistro gravy to it !!! well just grim avoid .!!! The man think name was paul the owner / manager was rude to the staff and didn’t look like he knew what he was doing it just made us laugh .. we will not be coming that’s for sure if I could give 0 I Would so hence I’m giving 1 start

Having read and heard about Power’s We were really looking forward to an indulgent Saturday morning breakfast. Sadly, despite the lovely environment and jovial atmosphere it didn’t live upto expectations. The service was ‘functional’ and the food below par - yoghurt with mixed berries turned out to be 3 raspberries and a couple of shrivelled blueberries and a mouthwatering order of salmon, avocado and poached eggs was disappointing because the eggs were slightly overdone, but more importantly the tomato salad was riddled with coriander which had infiltrated much of the rest of the food - we spent 5-6 minutes picking it out to avoid a potentially fatal disaster.... when the waiter came to clear our plates - he didn’t even ask how the food was, nor comment on a saucer full of coriander..... to top it all, having paid once, he came back to try to process payment for a second time (after one of his colleagues had already taken my money!!)Sadly won’t be returning.

This place has been on our must-visit list for a while now and we've finally made it there. The menu was reassuringly familiar from its days at the Medicine Garden in Cobham and the owner even said he recognised us from back then. We plumped for the chilli, which came with a generous side of tangy tomato salad and two pieces of buttered sourdough bread, lightly toasted and still warm. We don't usually do puddings on a midweek lunch but couldn't resist the brownie and fruit tart, both served warm with a generous dollop of ice-cream. Details such as warmed bread and puddings really do make all the difference in my book - other places, take note! Staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient and the venue is attractive and nicely informal and relaxed. Our visit was the highlight of our week and we are already planning when we can get along there next. Will it be lunch again? One of their enticing breakfasts? The scrumptious Sunday roast, perhaps? Or all three? I think I already know the answer to that one!

I love this place for breakfast and lunch, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are lovely. The food is healthy and delicious and they have a children’s menu which was perfect for my two young granddaughters. I have heard they open for special dinner evenings which are advertised on their Facebook page which I will definitely be trying. They even have a really nice adjoining gift shop so you can purchase a treat or two while your there!

Powers is a lovely relaxing restaurant/cafe serving beautiful fresh home made food. I visited today with my sister (we have been a few times) and niece. We had 2 Buddha bowls (vegan) and 1 salmon and cream cheese bagel and 3 glasses of Elderflower fizz. Everything was delicious. Service is excellent they are very friendly people. We sat in the pretty courtyard garden at the back of the building. They have added a lovely extension and it will soon be ready to serve more customers I highly recommend a visit.

We were a large party (11) for brunch and consequently not only made a reservation but also we were asked to pre-order, which was fine. Extensive and imaginative menu, veggie and vegan options, decent portion size without being ridiculous. Nice coffee. Service was friendly and everything arrived exactly as ordered and pretty much at the same time. Couldn't ask for much more really.

Met friends for lunch on a Friday. Unfortunately the service really disappointed us. I think it's pretty hit and miss depending on who serves you. My beetroot and goat cheese salad was eventually lovely but had to complain as the beetroot was originally missing from the salad. If you compare it to similar places in the area I think the food is good however the customer service is less impressive.

I stopped in because my son was at the dentist across the street. Wasn't expecting anything special. Figured it would be the same old cafe menu and coffee offerings. I was wrong. Paul the lovely unassuming owner offered me a seat in the back courtyard. So inviting. The menu has something for everyone. Vegan, meat, gluten free, and vegetarian. I ordered the soup of the day and a Buddha Bowl. They were both fantastic. Tory and Paul offer a Sunday Roast as well as a quiet place for evening drinks outside. If you're looking for an independent thoughtful cafe with great food at reasonable prices that isn't a pub or a chain this is your place. Paul and Tory have a little slice of heaven in Weybridge.

We took two friends to Power’s on Thursday to try out their "supper club menu". The food was delicious. We had sharing plates to start (hummus, sun dried tomatoes, olives, flat bread, beef nachos etc). As a main I had the lamb burger with sweet potato chips (they were actually roasted in the oven) which was excellent. Pudding was a home made pear and almond tart, the pastry just melted in your mouth. Power’s is run by a husband and wife team, and the quality of the service reflects that caring that comes with running your own business. We will definitely be back!

Having heard this restaurant cafe is open for dinner on some evenings we decided to give it a try. There is no doubt the food is delicious but it is very expensive. The cocktails we had were served in a chunky glass and tasted watery. The acoustics which, I believe from the waiter, are going to be addressed, are dreadful and we spent the whole evening trying to hear each other and shouting at each other as did all the other tables which made the evening very uncomfortable.
