Everything was cold and sent the wrong burger

Well-cooked and hot, very tasty. Good choice of meals, apple pie was very good.

Been coming here for 25+ years now always a great experience

Had jacket potato and tuna mayonnaise and coffee very clean and service very efficient

Had lovely baked potato here on Saturday. That's now 21 of the 34 Poppins restaurants that we have been to now. Loving it .

the baguettes were great with taste but for the price it costs you don't get alot at all.

Food was great can not fault the restaurant but courier pressed the buzzer of flat and waited downstairs until I picked the food from him not a delivery when you got to pick it up from the driver

Very traditional style English cafe, with menu and staff to match. Cheap as chips which is hard to do in this day and age! The old school milkshake maker was what did it for me.

Food items missing and food was cold and not nice . I’d like credit on the account to place a different order

Deilery driver sent text which said " I am outside" - I went to the front of the of the building and no driver. I rang the driver whos English was terrible and managed to find out he was lost - after a couple of attempts to speak to the driver I received a text saying that he had left the food outside 1 - 10 and asking me ti pick it up.

Mary and Denise are a absolute credit to your cafe, they interact brilliantly with customers, snd make this a place you always want to return to

was I the wrong stretch argued it was me that was in the wrong street I live in southgate Street he was in Spa Road a refused to move he said he couldn't read or speak english. very argumentative google maps better app than yours sends drivers to wrong street

Cheap bacon, cheap sausage. Try your luck somewhere else.

Really really good bustling establishment, At least three chefs working ,5 or 6 floor staff. For delivery of a great mega breakfast with a couple of extras and a delicious cappuccino, Really couldn’t fault anything. Really swift service and good quality hot breakfast, Very impressed

Just a classic greasy spoon, such good food, really friendly staff. Was really busy when we were there, but had quick service, and was very affordable. I would go back.

Order missing items, delivery driver extremely rude

Food was lovely and all freshly cooked. Very quiet on the Sunday afternoon when we went in there think we had missed the rush.

Me and my friend ordered scrambled eggs and toast and prawn salad sandwich. They bought 2 poached eggs and a prawn salad which was awful the prawns were dry and chewy. Won't go there again

Not good I ordered a extra of black pinning which cost £1.80 and it didn’t come with the breakfast I rang the restaurant they said “sorry we forgot, ask just eat for a refund” disgraceful behaviour. You make a mistake but then just say “get a refund from just eat” 😡😡 if I could give zero stars I would, and prices are ridiculous, £2.20 for a can of pop 🙄

I've ordered from Poppins a number of times so far, each time the food has been perfectly cooked and has arrived quickly. They read through the requests and are happy to accommodate any changes. The prices are better than other similar places in the area too. This is an easy 5/5 for me.

Delicious food and delivery times

One of the oldest and best breakfast at a steal if a price, breakfast to Sunday dinners, Whats not to like.

Food is fresh and hot and never late. You want a hot breakfast that is full of flavour then I suggest you order one from here 💯

Paid £6 for a chili to go. I got home and the aluminum container was only 1/4 full of chili. 🤔 Totally not worth it as it's the same as getting half a tin.

Excellent breakfast. Our hotel across the road did not do breakfast so we ate here. Perfect and reasonable.

Excellent bacon sandwich, washed down with enjoyable green tea.Nice place, very attentive and hard working organised wait staff, and those behind the scenes. Nice atmosphere, very good enjoyable lunch swiftly produced.

£9 for a mega breakfast where you have to choose between black pudding and hash brown , sausage that dissolves in your mouth like marshmallows, and coffee is extra , nearly fell off my school chair laughing .

Delivered on time, the food was excellent and they catered to my additional requests. Definitely deserving of all the positive reviews!

Panini and blt were both soggy and practically inedible unfortunately

We had some adjustments with the food which they dealt with no problem. They even gave us extra, almost double what we paid for. Food quality is amazing also. We will order from here a lot more!

Overall disappointed. Ordered Mega Breakfast and paid for additional scrambled eggs. Missed the two fried eggs completely? Toast becomes warm bread in transit. Portion is small and with missing items, it wasn’t good value for money. Also, order suddenly became a “pooled order” so I had an additional 20 minute wait unexpectedly.

This is a budget eatery. Food was good and not expensive and the service was fast. It is just next to several bus stops. We stayed in the hotel opposite and got a 10% discount.

I asked for two sausage extra beans and bacon but no egg. They sent 1 sausage I slice of bacon and an egg which I didn’t want. When the food arrived it was very cold I had to put it in the microwave to heat it up. I’m not happy about this meal was very bad. I would like a refund. Thank you

Now before I start I do want you to know I do like this place and have been here many times before. Unfortunately today was not my best experience and would not be going back until they change it. When I ordered a cup tea I got the milkest tea EVER (could leave teabag in for only 3 seconds if that) also £1.70 now for a cup is ridiculous amount of money when with breakfast it should be cheaper. On top of that they overcharged me £5 but the lady who worked the till did not understand any sort of English so ended up paying £13 for a veg breakfast extra egg £6 and mug tea £1.70 and after complaining she didn’t care so In end I gave up and I won’t be going there again. Also the veg breakfast is really nice so recommend it. But take cash to the EXACT AMOUNT

Great value full English breakfast, very good bacon and all well cooked and presented. Sausages with the veggie breakfast very nice. Very friendly staff and nice clean café.

Usually I would rate 5 stars as they are normally really good but I ordered chips which never came after waiting a hour and asking a couple of times I decided to leave

Ordered breakfast through just eat, app kept extending the delivery time, when we called after approximately an hour and a half we were told they had given it to the delivery driver and couldn't have been less interested. Looking at other reviews this isn't the first time it's happened, definitely avoid.

I asked to swap a couple of the items and they did. Food came very fast and was still hot. Recommend

I just want to thank the delivery driver who struggled to hear me cuz my speaker is broken but took the time and care to make sure we were happy with the order as there was confusion with the post code he’s a really good man. Who cares about his job

Table service great but food lukewarm people doing cooking to busy looking after takeaway orders instead of looking after customers who bothered to sit in for their food but there again they charge more for online orders which is wrong in my mind look after the customers who turn up not sit at home

Really enjoyed my fish'n'chips with garden peas. Delivered earlier than first advised whivh was excellent as I was really hungry! Very tasty and still hot! Will be ordering again as very handy when fish'n'chip shops have closed after lunch 👍😋

The food delivered was wrong, had breakfast with black pudding, no black pudding arrived - had a hash brown instead. Did ask for some sachets of sauce but didnt receive any (I know they dont have to but...). At £10 for a breakfast (£15 with a coffee and delivery!) I would expect the order to be correct, dont think I will order from here again.
