Poppins in Rushmoor

Great meals, decent prices. The chubby Waiter took good care of me, and was very polite. I had a Spanish omelette with chips and homemade coleslaw which was very tasty.

Visited yesterday with my brother and sister. We are OAP's. Because of Covid, we have not eaten together for over 15 months and we had been quite nervous about eating in an inside venue and the lady who is in charge came out into the street and welcomed us with a smile, and said we could have as much space as we needed. Just what we needed to hear! The young man who served us could not have been more helpful and polite. We could not believe how extensive the menu was and the food was perfect and very generous portions. Most of the other customers appeared to be regulars and seemed to be pleased with the service. I have written a few Trip Advisor reviews and this is far and way the best. Thank you so much to Poppins. Jeremy

Called in Poppins for the first time for breakfast. Had a great breakfast here will definitely be back. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. There's a very good menu to choose from and those with a sweet tooth some delicious looking puddings.

This café is sited in a pedestrian mall. I call in here after walking back from the cathedral, and am definitely in need of sustenance. The café would seat some 50 people and is very inviting from the street. The staff are friendly, and I enjoy my apple slice with cream and ice cream, and my cappuccino with a high froth, just as ordered. That being said, there was not a great selection of cake. The café appears to specialise more in breakfasts and main meals, and there is a great variety of choice here. Access to the café is easy, and there are modern toilets. A good find!

I came here whilst I was heavily pregnant and on a lunch break from work with a friend. I waited over half an hour for a drink, and when I politely asked how long it would be until the drink would arrive as I felt sick, I was then aggressively shouted at across the cafe by the woman. A horrendous way to treat a person, let alone someone who was pregnant! Nonetheless I haven’t been back, and haven’t missed it. Much better cafes in Aldershot.

Was visiting Aldershot to attend an assessment with a friend. We had little time + needed an early lunch + a hot drink.We both ordered a baguette which was a good choice, really fresh + tasty. I'm very particular about coffee + can honestly say they provided a great tasting coffee. My friend had hot chocolate + loved it so much she suggested I taste it. Quality tasting.Staff friendly + helpful.

Esta fue mi primera visita a Mary Poppins con alguien que ha estado yendo durante décadas. Aspecto y sensación barato café necesita un poco de trabajo en mi opinión. El personal era bastante amable, pedimos el desayuno y una flotación coca cola y fresa. Fueron casi completo y no tener que esperar un rato para las bebidas, pero ambos estaban bien. Luego esperamos bastante tiempo para la comida, pero cuando llegó se puede decir que está preparado todo a la orden. Como dice el título desayuno decente café bien preparado, yo diría que aunque preparado bien la salchicha estaba un poco barato (yo soy quisquilloso con buena calidad de carne salchichas que quieran)en general buena experiencia

Alojarse en Aldershot para la boda de mi sobrina y buscando un lugar para tomar el desayuno encontramos esta joya! Personal muy amable y servicial. Limpio, limpio y ordenado para comer. Ambiente fresco. Excelente desayuno Inglés adaptados también satisfacer nuestras necesidades. Recién preparado y servido con eficiencia alegre. Gran hallazgo.Esto puede ser una cadena, pero se sentía como un negocio de propiedad familiar. ¡Bien hecho!

Only went in for a coffee. Ordered an Americano with hot milk. Paid, waited 10 minutes, no sign of the coffee, got up and left. They can keep the money. Place smelt a little unusual, and not a good unusual.

Always such a lovely cooked meal, always nice and fresh and served quickly! Very friendly staff that are polite and welcoming!

The food is really nice and service is quick. There is a range of options including all day breakfast. The waiters are very friendly and had an enjoyable time

i wouldnt bother eating here as staff are extremly rude,and dont seem to be bothered about there customers, a staff member actually swore at me when i complained about being given a drink of coke that was flat and tasted nasty, i do not recommend anyone visit this place

Came in for a meal but after recieveing a cup of tea that resembled dirty dishwater, we went elsewhere! When we paid (wait!...why on earth did I pay?!)... we handed back to 2 cups of 3/4 full 'tea' and no comment or apology for the staff as they took the £3... yes £3 for their efforts.... YUK!

I've eaten many times at Poppins Aldershot, perhaps too many times judging by my waistline. The staff are always friendly and service is always quick, though they can get swamped when busy. Serving the usual cafe fare of sausages, burgers, omelettes etc along with hot and cold drinks. Particularly good for a hearty breakfast.

Poppins is a friendly, cheap cafe, that serves chips with most things. The coffee is surprisingly good and the staff are helpful

They served omelettes, sausages, typical English breakfast and hot/cold drinks, the service is quick. We rarely go here.
