Poppins in Rushmoor

These people are not fit for purpose. My partner made a complaint about the food. All he ate was the beans. Poppins has threated to break gdpr by submitting footage of my young family eating. Including two disabled children. I can't wait to see what the ICO feel about this data breach threat. The restaurant is always empty as that's why. The food is appalling a and they threaten their customers.

I went out for breakfast with my friend and halfway through my breakfast i was greeted with a hair!! The staff were so unapologetic and uninterested. Now ive been put of for life!!

Stopped in to get brekfast and decided to take away. Food was still hot when I got to work and tasted very good. Portionns were nice as well

Poppins is dark on entering and the décor is very old fashioned but very clean as are the toilet facilities. Staff are polite, friendly, would talk and answer queries, everyone is clean and well dressed and the kitchen staff are very efficient. We went in for breakfast, nothing really wrong except the standard of sausages, they spoilt a good breakfast. the last item is the size of table seating, you cannot get 4 adults around one of the 4 seater tables to eat in comfort. Would we go again, I do not think so, which is a shame as it has so many good points.

This is the first time I’ve been in this Poppins but have eaten in others for many many years Fortunately, this hit the spot. The menu has changed a little bit but I got what I wanted: a tasty beef pie with chips, peas and the optional gravy. Friend had a burger which he said was juicy and tasty. Service was friendly and quick, good for lunch on weekdays Def will be back

Visited this establishment many times. Always friendly staff and extremely quick at serving. The inclusive breakfast is great value coming with tea or coffee and 2 slices of toast. They are very accommodating if you wish to change an item of food for another. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

We dropped in quickly as my wife was feeling ill and desperately needed some water and a loo. They were very, very quick to get us some (free) tapwater and a good flat white, and left us alone while my wife recovered. Looking at the other diners, they mainly had very tasty looking breakfasts that are served all day. Was tempted, but my wife would not have appreciated me eating! Will go back for brekkie on another trip. Nice people.

The food was good, the ambience was a breakfast cafe. Wait staff were helpful, smart, and friendly. They were accommodating to our requirements, and food was served promptly and was excellent.

Every time I go to Farnborough I always end in here for lunch. Great choice of food, friendly and quick service. Very clean.

The food was more than plentiful, tasty and well-presented. The staff were very pleasant. My 'if' is that the bottle of still water was icy cold and there was also ice in the glass, I do feel a customer should be given the option of room temperature or cold, and also asked whether they want ice in the glass, particularly given how cold it was on 31st March 2018

I have been going here for years....I have taken my family to eat here from when they were little and I go here for meals with my family now they have a great food menu and they have the best desserts ... the place is great to take kids and the staff are friendly and the are good place to feed your baby... nice place for families to go and eat👍

We have been coming to Poppins fir many years now sometimes several times a week. The food is always good excellent fast service. I would recommend their inclusive breakfast, best in town.

I arrived in Farnborough at 10.15 and found Poppins near the car park. They had a 'full breakfast' and an inclusive hot drink special advertised outside so I walked in. The decor looks like something from the 60's and the seats and tables probably from the same era. The staff were friendly and I was welcomed with a smile. My order was taken and the drink and meal was delivered within 5 minutes which was quite amazing. I usually rate breakfast quality by the standard of the sausages. They were cheap and tasted of mush and gristle. Apart from that the rest was ok. The breakfast served its purpose, however it wasn't memorable so I wouldn't rush back.

I enjoyed a nice filled baguette in here whilst waiting for my partner to go shopping. The staff were ok and it was quite busy. I didnt enjoy having to queue up to pay as they were taking ages to complete each transaction.

Está convirtiendo en un ritual mal que cada domingo me arrastra la mujer para el desayuno. Principales razones de ser la comida es excelente, el servicio es genial, y disfrutar de la experiencia. Lo más importante para mí es la limpieza, incluso los baños están impecablemente limpias. Si estás fuera de la zona de Farnborough y lujoso un desayuno decente, entonces sin duda le dan a este lugar.

Hemos estado yendo a Mary Poppins durante años ahora algunas veces más de una vez a la semana. Es el mejor desayuno en Farnborough, el personal era realmente amable y servicial y el servicio es muy rápido. Si en el centro de Farnborough es el mejor lugar para comprar el desayuno o un aperitivo rápido si te mueves.

Vine aquí hace un par de semanas. El desayuno como un todo fue normal, pero no pude intercambiar mi tomates para setas y en su lugar tuvimos que pagar extra sólo para ser servido, tintada de setas. Si yo hubiera sabido que eran de lata no le hubiera pedido. No mencionar los champiñones al servidor que no parecía importarle ni me ofrecieron ningún dinero o incluso una bebida gratis. Terminó siendo más de £15 para 2 de nosotros incluyendo bebidas y solo creo que pudiera haber mejor por ese precio o incluso menos en la zona local.

La comida es fantástica, posiblemente puedo comer esta comida todo el día! Mi comida favorita es el pollo al curry, es uno mis mejores curries que he probado en un restaurante cafetería. Gente muy encantadora. Muy tranquila! Me encanta este lugar. No hay nada negativo que decir sobre este lugar. Es increíble

Después de hacer cola durante 10 minutos en una tienda de bocadillos por la calle me rendí y vino a Mary Poppins en vez la mitad del tiempo, la mitad de precio y la bienvenida a la llegada): Evitar el buen sabor y venga aquí

Bastante barato, buena relación calidad-precio, nada especial, pero es exactamente lo que dice en la lata. Buen desayuno y menú bastante grande. Los postres no están muy bien, pero el resto de la comida (hamburguesas, sándwiches, etc.), desayunos, es bueno.

A café with a good varied menu at reasonable prices. The food is cooked well for a Café and the service is good and friendly, Generally clean!

The restaurant was quite busy but our order was handled efficiently. The food arrived quickly and was very good value for money. It seems to be an ideal place to grab a quick bite whilst shopping in the town.

I always go with my nan and the staff are friendly,drinks and food are delicious I love it more than I love my cat.lol

Decided to go into poppins before doing shopping as it was lunch time.it was quite busy but manage to get a table.Had a jacket potatoe with baked beans but said to the waiter no butter on jacket potatoe. However when it came the jacket potatoe had butter on it so had to send it back.They did do another jacket potatoe with beans this time it had no butter on it.Also if you want pain hot water they charge 50p yet if you go into aldeshot poppins or camberley poppins they don't charge for hot water.

We eat here often and love it. Staff are great, always welcoming.Food is delicious. Highly recommend.

It is what it looks to be. It is a great place staff are friendly and helpful. I have found them to be very flexable with the menu if it is a reasonable request. Beans for peas etc. I did once hear them say no when someone asked to swap the half tomato for another burger but that is an unreasonable request.The food is good, cooked to order and very consistent. We eat here often when in town and will happily continue to do so.

Popped into poppins for breakfast, unsure of what to expect, food was delicious and staff were very friendly, cafe was clean and had an appealing decor, cheap and cheerful and great if your on a budget!

Really good food and service. Friendly staff, good seating, not rushed and well priced. Good place to have a break when out shopping

I've been meaning to write a review on Poppins Farnborough for some time, as I have visited on many occasions and there has always been the same high quality of fresh food (especially the crispy salad), good sized portions and prompt service. This is a very well-run ship (as are most of the Poppins restaurants I have visited) and yet still manages to do this without charging high prices. I thoroughly recommend Poppins for an enjoyable lunch whilst out shopping.

Very friendly staff from the Manager downwards, best latté in town, food always of a very high standard and plenty of it.

Had a halfpounder with chips. The food good but why do they have to cram it all on a small plate so it is difficult to cut without getting your food on the table? Get bigger plates!!. The strawberry sundae a dissapointment. Description on the menu says strawberries, NOT the ONE SLIVER of a strawberrie over compensated with strawberry syrup.

Service quick and staff very friendly. Food hot and enjoyable and reasonably priced. Will definitely go again.

The restaurant was recently refurbished but still has the same friendly staff serving cheap but quality meals. Servings are generous and enough on the menu for everyone.

Poppins is part of a chain and generally the standard is high. The Farnborough Poppins is very handy for the pedestrianised shopping area. Plenty of seating. Staff are quick, efficient and friendly. Disappointed that the eggs are only available fried, no poached as an option. Had tomatoes on toast - a reasonable sized portion - three slices of tomato on each toast. Some restaurants do not understand that one slice of tomato on each piece of toast is insufficient ! Toast came un buttered - as I had asked. Coffee mug a good size. Lighting is poor - there is more an "impression" of a ceiling, rather than an actual ceiling and therefore some tables are in near darkness and others only less so. Given that the clientele is, generally, older people ( myself included!) this is a bit of an issue in reading the menu, seeing the food etc. I imagine it is better on a brighter day or sitting outside. Regardless - a perfectly pleasant breakfast or lunch venue.

the last visit wasn't so great as the restaurant wasn't busy but our service was very slow, coming back for breakfast this morning and the service is prompt dealing with the number of customers and attentive the food as always is great and we always love the family friendly happy atmosphere overall a huge improvement!!!

This place is OK. Nothing special - it's just an average cafe. Service was quick. Food OK and reasonably priced. No reason to come back and no reason not to either.

Not exactly fine dining, but perfect for a cheap lunch/ drink. The menu is very large, including breakfasts, salads, jack potato, sandwiches, scampi/ fish + chips, lasagne and steak. There is also a range of desserts. Service is good, and the waiters are friendly.

Been using Poppins for years. Excellent value for money and they don't scrimp on the portions. A nice friendly atmosphere and would highly recommend.

Had pancakes with syrup, was 2 tiny pancakes in a bowl of syrup that made me feel ill, sent it back and asked for a sandwich instead as the pancakes were too sweet , and they gave me an awful sandwich. Wouldn't go back, the one in camberley is nice though...

I love Poppins! It serves wonderfully, greasy food, which is totally delicious. The waiters are always very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the pancakes with cherries and squirty cream, so naughty but oh so nice.This is a real gem in the middle of farnborough.

Shopping in Farnborough and ready for a bite to eat we decided on Poppins. Sat down and without having to wait, surprising, as it was very busy . Our order was taken within minutes, we both ordered a jacket potato with cheese and when it arrived which wasn't very long considering it was cooked to order, the portion was more than ample and served with a side salad. The food was cooked to a very high standard and the pleasant staff gave good service. Highly recommended, so when in Farnborough "pop in" the Poppin you shouldn't be disappointed.

The food was basic and well priced and the service fine. Nothing special but well cooked and enough of it.

I go here once a week before I do my shopping (mine and the hubby energy booster). The food is delicious, never had a bad meal. I normally have the Jacket Potato and cheese, and my word there is alot of cheese, my hubby had the Poppins Mix and loves it. They are great with the kids, always trying to make them smile. They always help out the disabled, but do not forget the other customers. The tables and chairs are always clean, they check the floors for food or spillage frequently. The toilets are clean and always have toilet roll (Thank Heavens!!)
