What a stunning location. Excellent service from Masie..made our lunch paticularly special. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced. I have a holiday home on the Island and will recommend to all my guests. People are missing out as it's a little way off the high street and may not know it's there. We will certainly be visiting again!

This lovely place does not deserve these negative reviews! We stopped by for a lovely late lunch today, service was quick and absolutely lovely, star of the show being the crab cakes and pulled pork burger.

Busy pop up cafe / bar. Most staff working hard. Maisie our waitress was in a foul mood. Sent a poorly cooked Berger back and never saw the replacement. Let the rest of the hard working team down.

Superb location to chill for a meal and/or a drink. We’ve been here lots of times over Summer and I’ve nothing but praise for the way the staff operate and looked after us during Cowes Week. Food is wholesome and well presented. Service is spot on. Beautiful view of Cowes Harbour and all the boats, coming & going. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the music by Roo, sipping on cold Rose and savouring the delicious food served by the charming Raina, her daughters and the wider team who were so welcoming to us. We’d definitely recommend it - chicken salad and arancini - wow. We were extremely lucky with the weather too which made it all the more enjoyable :)

Visited today & had a terrible experience. Been generally fine before, but the girl who ‘served’ us if you can even call it that, was beyond appalling 🙄 Incredibly rude, I was so shocked. 2 Kids fingers & 10 chips that were fried so much nothing was left in them!! Food was inedible and when I got told, we’ve prepared that food so you’re paying for it, I was gobsmacked. Shame as it’s a nice location

What a terrific relaxed place to enjoy some drink and food by the marina. Food is a huge letdown however. I just can’t understand why places don’t try harder when they employ chefs. Captain birdseye fish fingers for a main burger. Really ???

I visited with family and from the moment I arrived, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a steak burger with local gallybagger cheese, which came with salad and chips, the food arrived very quickly considering the marquee seemed busy. All around a lovely experience, would definitely recommend 🥰

I came to the Pontoon View with my 3 yr old which we stopped at on our walk through the high street … we were welcomed when we walked in. We sat and enjoyed a delicious meal.. I had the Steak Burger with Goats Cheese and Mango Chutney… served with delicious chips (I had to stop myself eating them!) my little one had the kids chicken goujons and chips.. which comes with a drink, yoghurt and piece of fruit… The staff were super friendly. I would definitely recommend…

We were tempted to Pontoon View by their menu and location. A fish lunch on the marina, in the fresh air, but protected from the weather. We waited half an hour for our order to be taken and another half hour for the food to arrive. The food being served did not entirely correspond with what was offered on the menu. It was served on disposable plates, with plastic drinking glasses and plastic cutlery. The "salad" accompanying the fish dishes was just a pile of lettuce leaves. The soup, served in a flimsy disposable bowl, was scalding hot - with no warning - presumably as it had been heated in a microwave. It burnt my mouth. To eat it, I was given a plastic spoon, slightly larger than a teaspoon. Hugely disappointing experience. And ridiculously expensive.

I visited with my daughter after a family boating day. After spending £8.50 on one small icelolly and a so called cocktail. Prosecco with strawberry purée. The drink arrive in a very small plastic cup with a straw. Ripoff price for the volume of drink.

Visited on round the island day, probably busiest day of the year in cowes……ordered drinks, took fifteen mins (not that busy) by which time the kitchen was closed, 3pm on round the island day, seriously?

Ordered a BEC with salt pepper ketchup… get home to realize I’ve got an egg and cheese with no meat. Disappointed.

Had a really lovely cosy lunch in here on a cool Autumn day. Really warm service and the food was enjoyable. Great location for looking out to sea.

Everytime i get to have a look at Costa Newport Shropshire website, the thin that greets me on the Google listing is a review from trip adivsor and this is 10 - yes ten - years old!! It say it is" the worst Costa ever". I am a local elderly lady and I go down there 2-3 times a week. I go on my own. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and homely. The seats are comfortable and padded. It upsets me that Trip-Advisor can keep plugging this ten year old review. How dare they do this!! it is shocking. I havent dont a trip advisor review for 2-3 years, but I am fed up with this report. Please take it off.

It's very busy in the summer season, but it still manages to produce great food. In the winter, it's the one pub that is consistently open, no matter what the weather or footfall. Throughout the winter, there are special deals on meals, which are cooked to a very high standard. The staff are really friendly and helpful and if you want any changes to your meal, they are only too willing to help. If you come to Yarmouth pop in, you will be looked after and enjoy a lovely meal and beverage of your choice. The location is great, but the phone signal is very poor. You may have to walk up the peir.
