We went for the second time on Sunday. This place gets good reviews however I'd have to say we were disappointed. Ordered chicken shashlik which had very little chicken , just loaded up with peppers and onions. At £13.95 we felt ripped off. Our search continues for a quality Indian)Asian restaurant

The most fabulous place, a very warm welcome. The food was exceptional. The quality of the food was just amazing well worth a visit. I will most definitely go back.

1st time here and was not disappointed.Started with poppadoms which came with a few different sauces and were spot on.Onion bhajis were nice and crunchy, though would have liked a slice of lemon to squeeze over them.Should have asked for a longer break between the starters and the main meal as it did come out quite quickly,my fault.Great to see the plates came out lovely and hot,i hate luke warm plates.I had the Chicken Tikka Madras which was delicious,and just enough of it,not over facing.Lots of sauce as well which meant i could mop round the dish with a lovely garlic nan.All 3 of us agreed that our meal was delicious.Next we played guess how much when the bill came, and we were really surprised how cheap/value for money it was.The owner came over just before we left and had a lovely chat with him.Will be back for certain.

Terrible service different waiters coming to your table then get the order wrong. We ordered first out of our party our food came last. Food was very average and bland(not sure what the hype is about) to top off the experience there was sick all at the front door as we we’re leaving and the staff didn’t seem in to much of a hurry to clean it. Never again!

6pm on a Saturday evening and the car park was rammed, hadn't booked but got a table very quickly. Staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent and value for money. If you find yourself in the area, firstly try and book, but we'll worth a visit. Highly recommended

10 of us and we did all get served together but most of us said food was a bit bland and naans were very doughy and not cooked.

Best curry house in Tameside. Worked my way through most of the menu and every curry is delicious. The service is top tier. You are never left waiting for another beer. Absolutely fantastic place.

I've been a few times and the food is perfect. My only issue is you feel rushed, I've said on a few occasions give us a break between courses. Other than that it's a great place to eat.

Great Indian - always busy for a reason. The food is good and although I usually dine in I have obtained a take away of multiple dishes to freeze as they are so tasty. I live I'm Blackburn and there isn't anywhere local to me as good.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the country!

We visited on valentines night after entering a competition on Facebook to win a free meal which we was lucky enough to win! The meal included a free bottle of wine, of our choosing, poppadom’s, starter each, main each along with rice chips and naan bread. The staff as soon as we arrived congratulated us and were very welcoming they explained what we had won and took us to our table. The food was amazing as always and the waiters are always available if you want to order more food or drinks, they also regularly check up on your throughout your meal to ensure all is ok. We have been to the Plaza many of times and always thoroughly enjoy it as a couple, family or a large group there are never no problems and the food is always to the same high standard with quick friendly service. We will deffo return and would also recommend anyone who hasn’t tried it to do so.

Lovely place, very busy but when they found us a booth table it felt very private. Great service and gorgeous food, will definitely be visiting again.

Last time I visited it didn’t start great as we were served stale popadoms. These were sent back and we received the usual apologies but the replacements we got were also stale so we had to send those back too and told the waiter to just get us the starters. A few minutes later the Manager came over to us, very apologetic and brought us some fresh popadoms. Although this made amends, we should not have been served stale food at all, let alone twice! The starters were ok and similar to what you get served at every other Indian Restaurant but the curries were delicious and contained a lot of meat with great flavoured sauces. The naan breads were also perfectly baked. Overall, a really good Indian Restaurant.

The best Indian we have been to! The food is always high quality and full of flavour whatever you order. The staff are always friendly and attentive even on really busy evenings. We cannot fault it and looking forward to our next visit. Indian Plaza you are the best! If you haven't been yet, give it a try as you won't be disappointed!

We moved from Denton 6 years ago and The Plaza is the only thing we miss. For ten years this was our regular delivered takeaway. The food is, as it always was, consistently excellent. Especially the Pasanda, lamb chops and Handi Badami. Hopefully you will open a branch on the Fylde Coast!

Been coming here since it changed from the church inn pub. Hundreds if not thousands spent. I got a really bad lamb dish with every piece being just fat. I mentioned it and they palmed me off. I’ll never return. Shame because I liked the manager who parks his very nice BMW out front.

Meal arranged by children for hubbies 70th. Amazing! All staff friendly and helpful, food was superb (and I am not a spicy food lover, butter chicken for me!!). Brought out a small dessert with a candle in it and all staff sang happy birthday. Restaurant was clean and well presented. All in all a fantastic night, am recommending it to everyone!!

Very busy curry house, friendly staff, nice food although Nan breads were a bit small. Missed one of my friends drinks despite her asking for it several times but all in all a good night.

Food fantastic 👏 only slight glitch was slightly cold but presentation and taste spot on. There were 11 of us so to keep 11 happy in a very busy restraunt is always going to be difficult.

We are here tonight 8/12/23 and it’s the best Indian meal we have had. Food was superb and when we are down this way again we will definitely be going again. Very reasonably priced too.

We were visiting from out of town and were recommended the plaza. Can absolutely say it far exceeded any expectations we could've had. The staff were pleasant, and the food, wow the the food. I had a curry that was full of flavor and the fish was tender, my wife had a curry that was creamy and delicious. We shared a tandoori chicken as an appetizer and it was crisp and full of flavor. Highly recommend the plaza!!!

Just had the tastiest Indian, I have ever had. Overall 10/10 there was 8 of us, my beautiful daughter had her birthday meal here and it was fantastic... The service the food the highest quality, will definitely telling friends about the Indian Plaza. A Must go and tantalise your taste buds.⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

Really excellent food, huge selection and very reasonably priced. My sister pronounced the garlic naan the best she'd ever had. All the sizzling grill dishes were excellent. My Bombay Special Lamb was delicious, with plenty of tender, well-cooked lamb. Service was solicitous and courteous without pestering. A little gem of a place! Also excellent disabled access and facilities.

Came Sunday 12th November I havnt been for a few years I used to go when it first opened and it was tiny! Saw the extensions through the years as well, I went with my now husband the food was still to die for, came quick and hot staff are still amazing and polite will start coming again more now!! Keep doing what you’re doing guys 😀❤️❤️ the chicken and cheese kofta was just as amazing as the first time I had it

I had an excellent time. Great friendly service and delicious food. I had a lamb biryani with madras sauce. The madras had the perfect blend of spices..not too hot/ not too mild. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

My Bombay Special Lamb had plenty of tender, well-cooked lamb and was fantastic! The portions were generous - two of our group took home doggy bags! The waiting staff were helpful and courteous. And they didn't hover or pester! They took photos for us when we asked - we were celebrating a family birthday. The restaurant itself had plenty of room in the car park, and inside was spotless and attractively decorated. Great disabled access and loos! (Very important for 2 of our party!) Would highly recommend. A little gem of a place!

This place is the best Indian I have ever tasted! Food is always fresh and consistent, and the great thing is they do takeout, and they DELIVER! Food is reasonably priced and is cheaper if you get take out rather than eat in, in the image here I have, 1 mix starter, 1 onion bahji starter, 1 lamb chops starter, a bit of rogan josh sauce (no meat) and a bit of pilau rice

My friends and I visited the Indian Plaza on a busy Friday night and we spent some time looking for an accessible parking spot suitable for a wheelchair user. We were however able to park in front near the door. The restaurant isn't immediately accessible to wheelchair users but my friend who has been before told me to ask for the ramp. However there was no need to ask as a member of staff had seen us sorting out the wheelchair and already installed the ramp by the time it was needed. We were glad we had booked as the place was very busy, but despite that we were quickly seated, given menus and asked about our drinks order. Gluten free: once we realised that the colour codes indicating allergens in the ingredients also had a number (in the level of lighting where we sat it was difficult to see the differences between pale blue, blue and violet) it became obvious that most of the menu was free of ingredients containing gluten. I can't remember when I last had so much choice! I had Onion Bahjis (large but light and crisp rather than doughy) followed by Tandoori salmon with salsa and potatoes. (The house white went very well with the salmon) All thoroughly enjoyable. The rest of the party enjoyed their choices too. Nobody wanted desserts, but there as a wide choice of frozen desserts, mostly ice creams, if we had wanted. As always, I realised after eating that a photo of the food would be helpful. Maybe next time, for I will certainly return

This was our first visit here and what a fantastic Indian Restaurant. The staff are all welcoming and attentive, the place is spotlessly clean, and the food was amazing. Great selections on the menu. The restaurant was really busy, but this didn't affect the level of service or the wait for the food. I would recommend booking in advance. We will definitely be back and we have the take-away menu too.

Would not recommend. I was visiting Manchester and chose the place based on the reviews. So disappointed! Lamb Passanda was packed with sugar. Some pieces of lamb were so hard I could not cut them with a knife and the meat was not freshly prepared. No professional chef would call this his special. Potato and cauliflower in the Aloo were stale and at least two days old. I did not feel any fresh herbs and promised garlic and ginger. The popularity of the place is a mystery to me...

I was in a large family meal group celebrating a birthday When I first walked in it was very busy to the point of Hetic looking came to my mind… But then we were welcomed and seated and the service was impeccable Being a large group of 28 every drinks food order was delivered without a hitch so we just flowed along with the birthday celebrations Great menu choices and the service was done with a smile from all the waiting staff made it special Will be back soon

Shout out to Turon, when asked about the hot sauce that my other half loves, he came out and brought us a big bag of it and told us when we run out to ask for him and we can come and get more. The Balti shaah is absolutely amazing. Nicest curry I’ve ever had by far!! It does say on the menu “you wont find this dish anywhere else” so I’d recommend coming here and giving it a go!! Just gutted I don’t live close enough to visit more often!

We've been to the Plaza lots of times and it just gets better and better. The owner went above and beyond for us as it was our daughters birthday. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and so tasty it's hands down the best curry house around and the portion sizes are perfect. You must try this place if you haven't already.

Decent curry, fairly standard as most of these restaurants now are. Had Cobra beer on draught but didn’t taste like Cobra it tasted much lighter or weaker than what I know. 4 drinks 4 popadoms 1 mixed starter 2 curries and 1 rice almost £60. I suppose this is what it costs these days. Restaurant was very busy and very noisy large group of young guys near us swearing a lot. We reserved a table but on arrival our reservation wasn’t checked and we’re treated like a walk in by a flustered man who kind of greeted us but not very nicely. Service was ok. I gave 5 stars mainly for thé food but everything else not so 5 star. I would go back but maybe I’d pick a quieter night as the noise in the place made chatting difficult.
