Pizza Hut in Wakefield

I ordered my mail between quarter past and 8:20 only just received it now. Not happy, the food is cold.

Great service in the Wakefield "Cineworld" branch this afternoon - many thanks from table 38 folks!

We ordered two buffets and refillable drinks. Not sure about paying almost £4 for just water for my son though. Plenty of choice of pizzas, and salad. Staff were friendly and hardworking. Card only payment. Lots of free parking. Will return.

Great venue for Pizza Hut pizza. .. quiet and quick. Caters well for families/ kids. Service is really good and friendly. Great buffet

Ordered a pizza on the website to collect from this restaurant. Paid for extra cheese when it arrived there was zero cheese on. Also amended the toppings which they completely ignored. Couldn’t return as opened when I got home. Second time this had happened at this restaurant I don’t know what’s so difficult about it. If I’m paying for extra toppings I expect to get them!

I am not happy with my food because the boxers was tampered with some of the food was taken out. I think you should give me a full reform back. This is not write for my phone boxes to be tampered with the labels was ripped off.

Rang in advance to ask if they had anywhere I could secure my bike - was told I would be able to lock it in their garage while I had my meal with my colleagues. Top notch service wirh a smile. Above and beyond - experience so much better knowing my bike was safe

Dreadful pizza tasted like it had been dipped in sugar. Ridiculously sweet and hardly any topping waste of money needs closing down.

Booked at table for 1pm and had the buffet. Shame that the pizzas ran out so quickly. Staff apologised, but forward planning wasn't in place and lack of staff was a concern.

All you can eat buffet is nice and good choices. Staff was very friendly and even satisfied our sons demand for a thick margerita, when it was all gone. Clean and nice. Was second time i was there. Will go again. :)

From booking over the phone to paying the bill, each member of staff was attentive and understood the requirements. My daughter and her 3 friends had birthday celebrations there, minus adults, we had dropped a cake off before, and they lit a candle and brought it to the table singing. They were treated like adults not spoken down to thank you so much for wonderful service and being part of making my daughters birthday amazing.

A friend and I went to Wakefield Pizza Hut and it was pretty clear, which made for quick service. The staff were lovely, Erin and Dec were absolutely great and made sure we got everything we needed. Food was good as always, very happy indeed :)

I visited with my mum, we opted for one of the specials, where we got started, main, salad and desert. Staff were lovely, food taste fresh - I always consider Pizza Hut to be poor quality food, with poor taste, however this experience completely changed my mind. Really good tasting food. Would go back. Avoid the salad though - too many kids use there fingers.

Staff friendly, amd helpful. Value for money. They cater for all tastes, ans ages. Have attention to allergies. Will be returning. Thank you

Great bargin if you love pizza. Only thing is with a pizza hut buffet is that you need the place to be busy enough for a good change of pizzas but not too busy that there's not much choice.

2nd visit here both times Lovely and quiet week day, comfortable temperature, and seated appropriately and spaced out from other diners which I really appreciate! Waitress was lovely polite and helpful and thoughtfully asked about pulling the blind to shade from the sun, son said the food was scrumptious 😋, dad said it was excellent value and mum well I adore the salad bar! And all the sauces! Thank you Erin for looking after our table!

The food and service are always amazing in the Wakefield pizza hut. The staff, especially Freya, are always lovely and attentive. The buffet is always well stocked and lovely and hot, and we always have a lovely variety to choose from.

The place was virtually empty. It became clear after the food arrived as to why. The best part for me at Pizza Hut was always the salad bowl. Unfortunately the selection didn’t look that appetising but I managed to pick a few things and then popped some sweetcorn on top and it was slimy. The tortilla chips were soggy too. So I decided not to eat the salad. The pizza arrived, the base was lovely, the thin sourdough one , the toppings were good too but I struggled to see where the cheese was. It was so disappointing. Nobody came back to see how our meal was and it wouldn’t have been hard as they weren’t having to deal with a busy restaurant it was pretty much empty apart from a couple of tables We ordered bottomless drinks as we planned on staying a while but we were so disappointed with the quality. So my husband got up and asked for a takeout box and paid the extortionate £38.97 for one 14 inch pizza and two glasses of pop. They’ve got big windows in Pizza Hut; they saw us coming as they say. This is an absolute waste of money and we feel very let down and cheated. To add insult to injury we were chased out of the restaurant shouting across the car park to us “excuse me you need to come back in and pay”. And… the tables, chairs and even the door to the ladies were sticky and need a dam good clean. Don’t waste your money. Get one from Aldi and get your oven on.

Never arrived. Just eat lets you order food for 10 o’clock when Pizza Hut shuts at half 9. Pizza Hut told us at 5 to 10 even though we made the order at 8. Just eat then marked it as delivered even though the shop was shut and they picked up no food. Awaiting a refund which seems unlikely due to the fact you can’t speak to anyone :/

Enjoyed our buffet. We were looked after by Declan and Jodie. They ensured the buffet is regularly stocked up with a good selection of pizzas. Highly recommended.

I’m a cook myself been doing this as job working in different Italian restaurants and pizza takeaways . Been to waky pizza hut a few days ago for the first time. Ate worst pizza of my life. Paid £30 just for a 14” pizza and there was nothing right on that pizza I can talk about. I really thought I’m gonna get a proper meal as £30 is proper money for a 14” but totally disappointed and fuming cause of what I got . Believe me them £5 pizzas from supermarkets bakery are way better than this. About service I have to say there is no service cause they show you your table and that’s it you scan the QR code and order and pour your drink and take your plate and put salad in it !

The restaurant was very quiet when we entered. Great service, the food was average. The price for 2 adults and 1 child was above average. Cost vs quality and overall experience, I wouldn't return.

The lunch time buffet deal is well worth it.

I can not thank the helpfulness and politeness of our Server called Katie, so refreshing to be served with a smile and great knowledge of the menu, nothing too much trouble and an asset to your company. Pizza Hut for the prices you charge it should be good quality at the least it was sooo bad the pizza base was rock solid and could nearly taste anything on the pizza it wasn’t good at all

Too expensive it was £50 for 2 people it’s ridiculous however besides the price it was still good food.

Had to keep asking for vegetarian not everyone wants cheese n tomatoes, but sometimes they can be kind depending on who's working

Been to eat after a film at 9.15pm but left as resturant was closing. All salad bar gone and tables being closed. Was told they closed at 10 pm and that was it no offer to seat us nothing just we closed. When challenged about times they asked if we wanted to eat or not but the restaurant closes at 10! Really unhappy as in a place where cinema is bingo is and other things. McDonald’s,kfc,subway open and serving.

The staff are always lovely every time we come in, never had a bad experience or a bad server. The selection of pizzas on the buffet is amazing and my favourite thing is the cheesy broccoli pasta, never fails to amaze

The pizza is paper thin. Toppings barely there. The worst pizza ever made. Frozen savers pizza would have tasted better.

Went to the Barnsley Pizza hut not long ago and walked out. Ordered for collection and I believe I spoke to the manager who was nothing but lovely and helpful. The food was really tasty too. Just nice to speak to and be served by lovely people for a change. Please go give the Barnsley staff some training in customer service!! Thank you 🙂

Food was nice but didn't think it was value for money. Service was really good, very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was let down by the poor maintenance of the restaurant, looking a little tired lots of light bulbs out and seats badly stained, shame as the team clearly try to create a nice experience.

Food was decent could've been slightly warmer eventhough we collected 5 or so mins before our collection window. Just a shame seeing such an empty restaurant

Expensive for the quality and portion they serve. The free salads are awful. There are many pizza competitors all around ,far more reasonably priced with a variety and better taste. There was only us sitting in the huge dining area on a weekend night; so you could guess that the popularity has declined. The pizza hut, overall, was far better 10 years ago. Time to re-think your menu and price card in the current times.

Pizza was dry with dry shards of chicken making me cough and staff inattentive talking at bar seemingly uninterested very dissapointing as it was lovely here a few years ago :(

Visited tonight the place was very quiet we were the only ones in there , food was not good at all pizza was lacking , and the food is very over priced for the quality you get! However on the other hand the staff was friendly & helpful , would not return again unfortunately!

Really good customer service, nice enough place to eat. Plenty of options and great for gluten free eating. Only problem I found was that the Pizzas tasted a bit synthetic. Nothing tasted particularly nice, just ultra processed stuff and the chicken wings tasted weird - the flavourings on the honey wings tasted odd. Still, the kids enjoy it here and the gluten free aspect is great. Pizza Express for less processed ingredients. Manager helped us with a discount that we managed to not enter correctly at the order stage of the website.

The atmosphere is a little bit noisy. The pizza is normal. The manager was very kind and attentive.

Pizza Hut was the choice of our grandchildren and they weren't disapointed. They enjoy the kids meals with a go at the icecream fountain at the end. Horses for courses as they say but we enjoyed the pizzas too. I've always been a fan of their deep crust and, as usual, went for a veggie. I also like having a good go at the salad bar. We had a lovely young lady serving us and that makes all the difference I think - I'm not sure what advantage there is in using their app unless you're in a tearing hurry.

Managers are absolutely disgraceful, they seem constantly short staffed but yet the Managers do not offer any help in the kitchen. Food is slow to come out due to unfit staff for the role, they seem to hire anybody that they can find. Appalling. Will not be returning, and the Managers need a reality check!

Very goid place when you cone there with your family. Pizza is very good. Salad bar is very good as well, a lot of veg choices.

There was no deep pan only thin base and we had to have what there was ..for a fruit drink squash that added lots of water was £3.99 a rip off. Only realised when paying.Was expensive for not great food.

Arrived without booking. It was busy but got a table no waiting. Staff very attentive. Ordered from the table. Downside is the process asks if you want to tip before uou have had food etc. I think this needs reviewing as I have never tipped before food etc as you dont know what it will be like. Sort this and it could be five stars on my next review

Would give 0 stars if i could. Ordered 85 pounds worth of food for a family get together, the driver arrived with 1 small pizza. Called pizza hut due to the delivery driver stating only one pizza was there to pick up. Manager not helpful just blamed the driver, poor communication on the management side with no customer service skills what so ever. Not reliable and would never order again

A great experience as always for the buffet. Usually we tend to go when everyone's kids are at school as they usually run riot when people are having a meal with no control from the parents either.

Just an over glorified chain restaurant, with over priced, mediocre food. I hadn't been here for nearly 10 years and in that space of time it definitely hasn't gotten better, got dragged here by family who were also very disappointed. The pizza was doughy and under cooked, the toppings were bland also don't get me started on adding veggie toppings, £2 for sweetcorn!! What??, drinks over priced and the salad was disgusting and looks like it just sits out all day! The service was poor, unhelpful and they just expect you to sit down and order from the app. People stop giving Pizza Hut your money! They don't know how to make pizza!
