Went for a.few drinks with family one Saturday night. Great place withe great music and atmosphere . Beenfew times and will be back.

Wonderful place to have a few coctails 🥰 friendly and clean atmosphere. Admittedly I much preferred pinas to the negronis but the bar lad adapted our coctails for us (he put in a nice tall glass full of ice and topped with lemonade) still a bit harsh but much more pleasant 😁 Thank you for cleaning an ashtray for us and unlocking the toilet (as I couldn't manage the stairs to ladys 👍👍) thank you again you made our day out very pleasant 🥰🥰 see you again soon... Lovely views Lovely staff And cocktails were delicious Only downfall was the online menu via QR wasn't explained well at all So we paid for 2 4 1 drinks but didn't know we had to add 2 of the same to our basket at the time. The staff did honour this for us, but we did feel a bit stupid having to ask where the 241 part was.

Rob was our server today service was fab and so was the food!

Dropped in for a drink while walking the quayside. Large place well presented And friendly staff. Ordered a bottle of prosecco at £33 but it was very poor, tasted very sweet bit like lambrini more than anything. Also noticed the other wines on offer were a low standard with excessively high prices. Used the QR code at the table to order which was brought to us remarkably fast. Table was very sticky including everything on it even the menus. But the mens toilets were horrific. Nothing like the rest of the building, more like being transferred into a 1980s camp site chalet. Filthy, dirty, worn away with smells coming from the urinals that made me gagg, very much a health hazard. Clearly not maintaining any acid treatments on them and Will need to get professional deep cleaners in, if its salvageable at all.

I stumbled across here late on a Saturday night, and it was great. While out looking for somewhere for a drink at 11 pm on the quayside, we ended up in pitcher & piano. The staff were great, and it was a clean restaurant with lots of seating and good drink choices. It has a great view, so I would love to come back here again for food and drinks during the day. I would defo recommend if visiting Newcastle

A loud and lively venue which we thoroughly enjoyed for Saturday lunch. All the guests were there to enjoy themselves and it made a fun atmosphere. Our table had a great view of the river and we had a long leisurely lunch. Emma looked after us perfectly. She had great advice for the food and she was intuitive to our needs - refilling the water jug without asking, enquiring with a smile "another round?" She did not rush us and made us very welcome. Thank you Emma for helping to make our trip to Newcastle memorable!

Came in and was seated straight away even with a busy venue. All staff were friendly especially Kyle who served us. Food was fantastic and cannot fault the service. Will be returning.

Really unimpressed . Good not to standard , salad was awful , no feta although feta although stated ? Burger really mediocre. Very noisy . Waitress quite above not welcoming , forgot little things like ice in wine . Quite disengaged and disinterred . Over prices for quite boring food and atmosphere not nice - will never return and am very disappointed.

Really disappointing to be honest. Went for a Valentines Meal here with my boyfriend. The food was dry and overpriced, there was blaring music and strobe lights- it was only 18:30. Service was ok but it was a massive let down. I thought with the reviews it would’ve been a nice choice on the river but I was definitely wrong.

My new favourite bar. Views are amazing and the fast efficient service is top notch. It is on the pricier side but we'll worth the visit.

Took my partner for a meal here, safe to say it's the first and last time I'll be there. The staff themselves were very accommodating and friendly, can't say anything better about them. However, the terrible outdated dance music the DJ was playing was being blasted out in our ears so loudly we couldn't hear each other speak. I had to yell out my order to the staff. We were there to dine but we had people near us on a night out dancing around their tables. We felt so out of place. The prices of the meals for the portions we got were ridiculous. Either decide whether to have a nightclub or a place to dine with your partner. Or at least keep the dining area completely seperate from the nightclub area. Yes we were sitted away from the dance floor but pretty much the same as having a smoking area right next to a non smoking area. We had our meal and left straight afterwards. Won't be returning.

The place itself is lovely and the staff were really great too especially when I had a query with the bill. Overall though I find the drinks prices absolutely ridiculous. 1 pint of Cruzecampo, 1 Guinness 0 and two double gins with a shared bottle of tonic was an eye watering £35. I won't be back in a hurry. Also 5 baby Guinness shots £22 wow!

Came for a early breakfast, totally ruined by someone moving chairs and tables around noisily for a baby shower. When mentioned to the manager/ or staff member he was rude and indifferent. Thank you for your response, the point is we were disturbed in the middle of our breakfast and were not informed of the set up when we sat at our table, had we been we would have sat elsewhere. Your staff need to offer professional customer service, they did not.

Came for a friend’s bday, firstly can I say the food and drinks were great, but what really made our night was the service. Emma was amazing! She was so helpful and was so accommodating to my allergies she really put my mind to ease as I usually worry when dining out. 5 stars to emma!

Sat night was heaving and very loud. Food was good but service average. So loud don't think the staff could hear you when ordering coz they got it wrong! 🙈.. Well it was a Saturday night so guess it's a place to drink not eat!

No food for us on this vist just a quick drink about 5 on Saturday evening. Was getting busy and also had a DJ on aswell, atmosphere was amazing and when we walked past much later was still going strong.

We came for drinks before our meal booking on new years eve and it was very enjoyable, nice cocktails, good entertainment with violins, fire dancers and music. We decided to come back after our meal to see the new year in but we left after 1 drink. The clientele seemed to get rougher and the clubland singer was painful and did not fit the vibe of the bar in my opinion. I dont go to a bar like this and expect "oggy oggy oggy" So all in all a mixed review and experience. Nice drinks and bar staff friendly.

Had a lovely meal sitting in the sunshine watching the world go by and Emma our server was great.

I decided to pop in for a spot of breakfast this morning to which I was then granted to sit any table I wished. The the lovely Emma was on table duty who provided great customer service … I opted for 2 x breakfasts and a pot of Moroccan mint tea. Firstly I had the poached eggs on toast, followed by the sour cherry pancake stack… whilst the poached eggs were nice, the portion size wasn’t great… an extra slice of toast wouldn’t go a miss, or definitely a thicker slice of bloomer / crunchy sourdough, the pancake stack definitely made up for this though; I think it was 5 or 6 in total with lashings of sour cherry compote and some lovely crème fresh for good measure, definitely more value for money. A thank you to Emma once again for her kindness and bringing out each dish in a timely manner and a no rush attitude. She did mention she liked the look of the pancakes, so maybe next time she is on duty the manager will kindly grant her some for her morning break for her great customer service today 11/1/25 🙂👍🏻

Pitcher and Piano Newcastle offers a lively atmosphere with great drinks, though the bar doesn’t provide table service. The venue is clean but very busy—booking ahead is highly recommended.

A really lovely meal with some beautiful views. Good service from Emma who was very kind, helpful and friendly! We would definitely return for another meal and drinks 🍹🍔
