Pintos Sandwichbar & Cafe in Bury

My wife and I popped in for a light lunch. Ordered a cheese panini and tuna melt , when they eventually came they were basic in presentation, a little salad on the side would have looked more appealing . My main complaint is the place is a mess ,the floor was dirty with crumbs and goodness knows what else, the food prep area was a mess , the waitress was either on her phone or eating her lunch out of a plastic container in full view of customers,very unprofessional. The toilet was situated at the side of a store cupboard which looked as though boxes and whatever else had just been thrown in there.The toilet itself was disgusting ,the seat was loose and water was leaking from the waste pipe at the back. When I came to wash my hands in the broom cupboard I could not find any towels or a dryer and had to ask for a towel whereupon the waitress tore some paper off the role in the kitchen area and handed it to me. I don’t believe that hygiene is their paramount concern.

I went for take out breakfasts, was served in a foil tin which went cold very quickly, the egg was overcooked to a rubber consistency and black pepper was ground on it... didn't expect that on breakfast. Worst of all, there was some sort of sweet pancake which soaked up all the bean juice and broke apart. Never again!

It wasn't busy, we ordered breakfast and were told it would be 15 minutes.. 40 minutes later I had to stop my partner from eating his foot he was so hungry and finally "breakfast" arrived. A good breakfast is a wonderful thing, sadly this wasn't a good breakfast. Obviously cheap ingredients, badly cooked. My man loves his food - he took about 4 bites and I watched his appetite fade. We left, and we definitely won't be back!

Won’t visit again. Ordered and paid £20 for 2 breakfasts 2 coffees and 2 juices. There was a couple of items missing from each breakfast due to stock which is fine. Instead of being offered replacements they just decided to give it us without items on it. When questioned they just said oh sorry we’re out and nothing offered instead. Very poor as I go out for breakfast every Sunday and was hoping I’d found my new spot.

Have used this venue for coffee but this time tried the breakfasts, one standard breakfast and one "small" breakfast - the small breakfast was as big as the "normal" served in many other places. The staff were very receptive to us ordering without items included in each breakfast and happy to offer suggestions of alternatives. Service was quick. Quality of both meals was excellent

Went here for breakfast yesterday morning and the meal was superb. Wish I’d come here more often, it’s cheaper than other venues and it is cooked to perfection, no pink sausages here or over cooked bacon. You can’t complain at the price either. It’s not quick but it’s done right. Owner was very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I recommend!

Premises spotlessly clean. Friendly staff with efficient service. Good choice of food and excellent quality.

A lovely little owner-managed and run cafe with great coffee and super staples. Their breakfasts are well cooked, they do great scrambled and fried eggs and lovely panninis and toasties. If you are shopping locally and want a decent coffee and a tasty snack, you could do far worse. All cooked to order and not sitting around for a reheat. Recommended.

You can get a good, reasonably priced breakfast. Everything is cooked to order, so it's not particularly fast, but it's good.

Can definitely recommend visited on fri 24th jan with my singer friend. Was made to feel very welcome had lovely food. Will be back if we visit the area again !!

Awesome breakfast here, did have to wait for a table but well worth it👍🏼. Small place with that personal touch. Defo go here again.

Always pop into this resteraurant when I am in Prestwich - good fresh food, not expensive, good service and very clean

We have visited the cafe on several occasions, normally for a late lunch. We always received a warm and friendly welcome and the service is excellent. The cafe serves the usual fare from sandwiches and toasties to all day breakfasts. The food has always been superb and from a personal point of view I like to support a local business.

I have worked in Prestwich for 10 years & have only just discovered Pintos & I’m really glad I have! The cafe itself is lovely & clean, the staff are friendly & made us feel really welcome. The food is out of this world! I had a club sandwich which was lovely & fresh because it was made to order. It was so delicious & filling. The prices are reasonable too, it was £5 for a club sandwich & a drink. I cannot wait to call back & try something else.

The best breakfast we have ever had and we have travelled America the bread I'd crispy the bacon is ham and very tasty the eggs are new laid we can tell and the coffee is wonderful we actually bought some as the sell the make Pinto's coffee. We shall be returning

Popped in with my daughter and my dog for breakfast one morning so we sat outside. They bothered, without being asked, to bring water for the dog...and a sausage!. I had a small breakfast and my daughter had the veggie version. They were fabulous and such great value. They even had proper de-caff tea!. What I was most impressed with was the friendliness of the staff, not in your face but thoughtful you know? My daughter lives close by and it has become where she will take visitors for a decent brekkie. Thoroughly recommend the place!

Sólo he estado aquí dos veces, ambas por un evento (vivo como a 80 millas de distancia) el desayuno es genial y bien de precio sangriento. Vegetarianas desayuno (enorme gracias de vegetarianas que tiene siempre hambre en la mañana) estaba para morirse (literalmente me ha costado años de perfecta la yema líquidos con sólidos blanco) y el té era bueno. Los chicos disfrutaron de su desayuno con mucha carne, y ellos me dicen que el café estaba bueno (filisteos. Lo que bebidas de café primero? ! ? y, encima, que estaba bien de precio. El hecho de que la señora y caballero que nos servía era paciente, agradable y profesional, bien, simplemente lo hizo el mejor. Seguir haciendo lo que hacen mejor por favor xxx

I pop in most Fridays around mid morning. Excellent chouice of foods and good reasonable prices. Nice friendly staff

Hemos visitado Pintos en varias ocasiones y disfrutamos de cada momento de nuestra comida. Hemos tenido varios desayunos y disfrutar de ello. Los productos pueden no ser nada lujoso, pero está muy bien hecha y no es grasienta. También hemos tenido un par de veces allí y encontramos aquellos a ser también de buena calidad. . Especialmente las tortillas y el club sándwich.

A small cafe with a great menu, fresh produce cooked to order and reasonable prices. The in sandwiches are a must

Fui allí para el desayuno y me pareció bastante caro para lo que es. El personal es simpático, sin embargo, el desayuno es demasiado caro dado algunas buenas la competencia ahora en la zona. No volvería pero tiene sus clientes habituales y como un pequeño negocio espero que le dará una mejor relación calidad-precio en el futuro.

Me encanta este lugar. Es pequeño, pero la comida siempre es buena y el personal es encantador y siempre parecen salir de su camino para los clientes. Mis llamadas de 5 años que "nuestro café"

Encontramos este pequeño lugar de la carretera principal, detrás de M&S; Comida Outlet, con parking gratuito enfrente de 1 hora. Un personal amable y acogedor. 5 - 6 mesas dentro, con espacio para un par fuera en un buen día, este fue un domingo por la mañana, lluviosa húmeda, por desgracia.

Come here quite often for a good fry up, they do the breakfast & lunch however you like it and its always delicious. They do a great large oversized cup of tea, complete in a large cup and saucer its great for tea lovers! they also do fabulous hot chocolate with marshmellows and cream! lovely cheerful helpful staff!

We have been to Pintos many times and always receive great food served by friendly staff. The café is located opposite a car park with one hour free parking (be careful not to go over the one hour unless you have paid for extra as the car park owners are quick to ticket you) I recommend the Club sandwich

Cannot fault the breakfast, it was a good one, great little cafe, only limited seating though. All standard fare, cooked and presented well.

Very nicely cooked , cannot fault all offers of breakfast.The bagels with additional coverings are great .

We've visited Pintos for both breakfast and lunch. Their cooked breakfasts are all freshly prepared and there's not a spot of grease on the plate. They also do delicious omelettes which comes with a nice salad garnish. The coffees are good - I've enjoyed a lovely latte. It's only a small seating area, which does get busy at times, especially weekend mornings for breakfasts so whenever we plan on going wr cross our fingers that there is a spare table! A gem in Prestwich.

I've lived in Prestwich about five years now and sampled a number of the café stops in the area.Pintos delivers taste and a smile at a reasonable price.You can pay more and get more. You can pay more and get less. When you're after a bacon fix, Pintos delivers.

I was expecting a great breakfast here having read other people's reviews but I'm afraid to say it was only average and less choice than Morrisons! The staff were fairly friendly but more interested in chatting to each other. I will try it again as its handy and I hope that they were just having a rare bad day.

Lovely place, food, welcome and atmosphere. Often go in on Sundays for a treat, have taken friends & relatives. Also had a girls' lunch out from work. Always consistently good food & friendly staff. Not a lot of room but it always works out to get a table. Hidden gem for reasonable prices.

On the face of it just another greasy spoon but it isn't. I went for a cooked breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was hot and by bacon and eggs standards not greasy. OK the ingredients aren't quite "Farmers Market" but were nonetheless good. This place aims to fill a gap in the local market: a range of wholesome food, well cooked and presented, at a great price with service to match.

Visited this place on two consecutive days whilst visiting Prestwich with my daughter. We were so impressed on the first visit that I went alone the following day again for lunch. This is what a says in the title a sandwich bar and café that does basic everyday food (breakfast, lunch etc) and takeaway but all the food is cooked while you wait and all appears to be to a high standard. I had a steak Canadian both days which was delicious and an excellent latte (much better than Costa) and at a very reasonable price. All served red hot. Cleanliness is excellent. Owner and staff all very friendly and helpful. Give it a try it is so much better than the major chains that surround it.
