When we called in at short notice I had an omelette and my husband had a breakfast. Both were very good indeed and we'll certainly return very soon.

A reasonably priced carvery. Starters were unremarkable. Although there was a good choice of meat, all were offered 'rare'. The roast potatoes were unidentifiable and unappetising as they were white and the vegetables were not hot when brought to the table. The puddings were a bit of a joke; the Christmas pudding was a thin slice of what appeared to be malt loaf and the lemon torte was a sponge bun with a vanilla cap which was then drizzled with lemon curd (totally not lemon torte!!!!!!). Manager although being attentive needs to buy a suite and tie, sports clothing just doesn't do it. Won't be going back.

Been for Sunday lunch, and it was very average. A good choice of meats, but the beef was extremely tough. Yorkshire puddings are huge, and they help make up for a small selection of vegetables. Quite reasonably priced, especially if you have 3 courses, but quite overpriced for children. I had an issue with a dessert, but the dessert was excluded from the bill for me. The tables were rammed in, we were sat away from the carvery, but I bet it can be quite annoying sat near the carvery with queues of people snaking around your table. Good points and bad points, hence the average score.

Llevé a mi esposa aquí por primera vez. Ambos tuvimos la comida de tres platos y fue encantador. Todo era fresco y muy sabroso y el personal eran excelentes! Sin duda volveremos!

We called for the fish luncheon special. four choices, with coffees for £6.95. The fish was beautifully cooked with real hand cut chips, mushy peas and large helping of tartare sause. My wife had the seafood salad which was very well presented and looked really good. Lovely view over the golf course, it was rather quiet but no problem. The staff were very attentive and took time to ask if everything was OK, which it was. Will definitely try the Wednesday carvery.

There is always a warm welcome regardless of whether the visit is for a sandwich or a three course meal. The views are superb, and this gives the room a good atmosphere. Booking for the Sunday Carvery is a must because the place is usually buzzing. The Wednesday two courses for the price of one offer is great, as Dawn usually finds something innovative to put on the menu.

First visit with friends for Sunday lunch yesterday. Even though we'd booked they had no record. We were practically ignored when we arrived, eventually given a table but no-one explained anything until the chef came and spoke to us. He was the only friendly face there. The carvery was delicious at a very reasonable price but there was no atmosphere and no ambience.

We had our wedding at the Pinnacle Dining Suite at Dewsbury District Golf Club 3 weeks ago. All we can say is a very big thank you! The service, staff, food were all amazing. We felt very special and had the best day of our lives. We would recommend 100% x

I love coming here for the carvery, unfortunately it's only available on a Sunday. The rest of the menu is great quality and the portions are ample. The couple who run the kitchen are delightful and the view is incredible. I can't recommend this place enough.

Tasty desserts. Few car park spaces in front of the shop but obviously in a site that has 10+ tables three spots isn't really enough. Enjoyed our desserts even took some home. Would visit again

We arrived without a booking and after a couple of minutes we were shown to our table and handed menus. Unfortunately after that, we were left around 15-20 minutes and nobody came to take our order.
