I found Piecaramba on google when looking for a non-boring place to eat given that we were only visiting Winchester for the day and i didnt want to go somewhere that i could just go whilst at home. Piecaramba did not disappoint. I booked a table and the staff were prepared, very welcoming, warm, friendly and just very tentative to what we needed. The restaurant itself doesnt look much from the outside but is bursting with personality inside and the food is exquisite. The fact that i was able to play the original playstation (which i very much played in my youth) with my kids while having pie and mash (not just a standard one either, really flavourful) and a cheeky spritzer was just amazing! I felt so at home here. Really cannot emphasise enough how much i loved this place, gutted there is nothing like this where i live. Really recommend. My kids had the best day! Thankyou.

The guys at Piecarumba catered our wedding for us and we couldn’t have asked for better food or nicer people !!! The pie and mash was amazing and they’re so good at catering for allergies !! If you’re looking for someone to cater your event then I would 100% recommend these guys ! We’ve been to the restaurant a few time and also bought pies to take home and it’s always fantastic!!! We used Piecaramba! for our wedding breakfast for 85 guests. We had numerous guests from Continental Europe who had never eaten pie before. Our guests really liked them, mentioning how delicious they were. We had an on-table service, which went flawless. We'd definitely pick Piecaramba! again for our wedding if we could do this all over again.

We booked a table for 2.30, our food eventually arrived at 3.15. Two other tables of 3 and us, a table of two. Took ten minutes to order our drinks, one of which was then forgotten and we had to ask for it again. One table of three had their food delivered and they all sent it back due to being tepid. Food was returned to table, one sent back for still being tepid and one jug of liquor missing. At around 3o’clock we were told that there was a problem with our ‘ticket’ and that our food would be 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, it finally arrived. Pie was hot but peas /mash tepid. Gravy was hot so ate our food. Gravy was meant to be onion, but thin and watery. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Small friendly, quirky, simple but great place. Great wholesome filling food and extremely well priced. Pie choice was superb.

This place was recommended by our daughter who is celiac and of course there are GF options on the menu, great for people with special dietary requirements or veggie/vegan. We had the chicken and mushroom pies with mash, mushy peas, and gravy. The pie crust is amazing and the filling is delicious, but equally the mash, mushy peas, and gravy, are all heaven on a plate. We liked it so much we went again the next evening. Sadly we had to return home and can't avail ourselves of such luscious pies in our neck of the woods. Every town/city should have a piecaramba.

Don’t use Piecarumba’s online booking request form. I received an email from “Rob” confirming the booking, but they had no table available when we arrived, claiming they had not received our booking.

This themed venue is definitely unique and will attract a market of not just traditional pie eaters. Very relaxed and casual place to eat, chat, meet. We only visited Winchester for the day and having had finished brunch around the corner, partner squeezed in a single pie with peas and mash. I witnessed a belly buldging sacrifice… It’s interesting what comfort food and rave reviews can sway someone.

Fantastic pie! Loads of cool stuff on the walls from Jaws to Toy Story. Great service. We played a couple of PlayStation and Nintendo Snez games too. Definitely worth checking out the Star Wars toilet! Thank you.

Very nice pies, the missus said the classics steak was lovely & full of meat, the liquor was yummy & not like the typical pie & mash. You can’t bet a pint of green tea. A perfect place to have supper with our son's family. The girls were agog at the decor and games. Great, tasty pies and lovely accompaniments. How anyone eats the stacks or two or three pies I don't know - just one pie and its extras was very satisfying. Lovely staff, really attentive and... well, just nice. When one of us had an unexpected health issue (short lived and not too serious) the concern shown was remarkable and heartwarming. We live too far away for regular visits, but we'll be back when we can.

We waited about 45 minutes until they came to tell us they’d forgotten about us because our ticket had fallen behind something in the kitchen. To be fair they did apologise, but the atmosphere felt like they were so preoccupied with being quirky and edgy etc that they’d forgotten they were actually supposed to be running a restaurant. When the food arrived it was okay but not spectacular, and we didn’t have that much time to eat because they close at 8.30pm. We knew about the closing time in advance, and that’s why we’d booked the table for 7pm but so much of that time was wasted. I also think they should pay a bit more attention to the shared games. We played Connect 4 and it was full of crumbs and could’ve done with a good clean out.

The Holy Cow is made from organic beef...I love that! Unfortunately the meat in mine was grizzly and fatty. Their special Piecaramba is delicious! The crust was outstanding! I am intrigued by a few of their other flavors and will return to give them a try. Customer service is excellent. The restaurant has a following, customers were enjoying the games that are available to play as you eat. For me to give Piecaramba a 5 I would have liked the mash to be made fresh not brought in in a bag. The peas are from a tin, I hypothesized that is more normal than not in this area.

Piecaramba catered for my Son's wedding in Melbourne last weekend, and were magnificent! Aside from the fact the various pies, mash and peas were truly delicious, the service they provided was faultless and way above and beyond what we expected. An extremely friendly, funny and hard-working team, they helped enhance what was already a fantastic day. I had steak in ale pie which was delicious, my wife had chicken and mushroom which was equally delicious, and we received nothing but positive feedback from the other guests. Think twice about having meat and two veg for your wedding breakfast, and give these guys a try. No-one leaves the room hungry! We live in an area renowned for pies, and Piecaramba would make the local piemakers very nervous! Well done team and thank you so much for everything you did.

The pies are delicious, there is a wide range of choices on the menu with classic options and also more "out there" fillings. The pies are gluten free and there are various veggie / vegan options so all dietary requirements are catered for. Amazing quality and always great to support local businesses!

Spent an amazing hour and a half in here. Was unsure venturing out in this new normal world we live in. We were immediately put at ease when we entered the restaurant, a warm greeting from our masked server who explained how everything works. The pie (blue steel - beef and blue cheese was perfect and without fault, crispy flaky pastry with beef in a rich sauce with blue cheese melted into it. The mustard mash again amazing and copious amounts of thick gravy made this a plate of heaven. Counted fault the whole experience. A fantastic Monday evening treat.

Called in for some lunch with my partner without a reservation. We were told we would have to be gone within an hour due to a reservation, but that we were welcome to eat. Waitress was really friendly and talked us through the menu. Food arrived quickly and was great - we will definitely be going back.

Stopped in today for some pies. Several of the tables were reserved but they snuck us in which was appreciated.The young lady that provided the service was wonderful. She took our drink orders and then our order.The meals came in a reasonable time - probably 15 minutes. However, my pie was barely warm and the mash and beans were about the same. They brought gravy on the side and I tried a few drops but it was more watery than any gravy I have had. Disappointing. The rest of the group was satisfied, just not as good as it could have been this time round.All these things are easy to fix to improve the rating. Just being honest.Fun decorating in the restaurant and even more fun washroom decor.

Pies and comics, what more could you want? We visited with our children and had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious - we tried Blue Steel (steak and stilton), Holy Cow (steak and ale) and Billy the Kid (steak and kidney) with various combinations of mash (you can have plain, cheese or mustard) and peas/beans. It all came with the biggest jug of onion gravy we've ever seen! Service was lovely as well. The decor delighted our teenage son, and both children loved the Star Wars-themed toilet. Shame there isn't one of these local to us - we would spend a lot of time there.
