We were warrmly welcomed to this family friendly Pizzeria. Che Guevara would have been comfortable in this rustic restaurant with rough wooden tables, rusty corrugated steel panels and mismatched chairs. The colourful Smeg fridge doors on the walls and a table football machine make Peters a unique experience.The restricted menu offers a handful of simple starters and a good range of pizzas with extras. Cutlery is provided in old tomato cans.The pizzas are of course the stars. Good size, tasty with crispy base and crust. The Buratta starter was particularly good. There are a couple of childrens options. Beers are in bottle or draft and the small choice of wines come by the glass. There is also a limited selection of alcoholic, cold and hot.The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful.Worth a visit if you are a pizza fan who enjoys simple options in rustic surroundings.

Delicious pizzas for two served quickly and attentively on a Friday lunchtime. Clearly the time to come, no need to book, almost empty restaurant, in and out within half an hour. Some unusual ingredients worth a try, and good fruit juices. Bill delivered by a teenage mutant ninja turtle.

amazing, fresh pizza and a lovely atmosphere. mains and starters came very fast, staff were very friendly and attentive. food was hot and fresh and very well portioned. very good value for money. beautiful roomy surroundings with beautiful furniture and deco.

Full of natural light, chic and very welcoming. The authentic Italian wood fired pizzas are delicious, with gluten free bases available. Loved the fabulous covered outdoor seating as well as the welcoming restaurant and charming staff.

It took us some time to be served and seated for a reservation we had booked in advance and when we were seated we were a little confused and frustrated (especially given the current circumstances) that we were put on a long "Wagamama" style table and were shoved up at one end, with table settings at the other for further guests to arrive later. We were separated by some potted plants only. As a party of 6 with 1 small child, this was really inappropriate as the child could not be seated on the end, but instead had to be on the side quite close to the other group.We were also put on the main entryway to the toilets so many people were passing behind us to get to the loos which was not pleasant.The knives and forks were shoved tongs down into a large tin can, which clearly was not cleaned often with crumbs and debris at the bottom, we wiped these down before use. And the drinks menu only being available on said the tin can made it difficult for all of our group to see the drinks options available and the can had to be passed around the table.The starters came quickly enough once ordered, however they missed one order completely (a Sparty, which is a cold meats, veggies and cheese platter so requires no cooking time) and had to be reminded once everyone else’s had arrived. One of the Garlic Pizza breads were burnt in the middle also and this part was inedible.We then waited an age, (at least 45 minutes) for a our mains to be delivered – I will note it was NOT a busy Saturday at all, so this wait was a bit ridiculous. The Pizzas were all delicious and hot once they came, but one had a lot of burnt edges and another had a very sparse amount of anchovies as toppings. I will note Peter does not do any sides? I have always found this odd - but feel it needs to be noted as I am one who likes a salad, or chips or other such sides with my Pizza, to not have the choice is strange?!The staff were pleasant enough, but clearly lacking in Customer Service Training and found it difficult to show a personality, a smile or to go the extra mile for the Customers when we asked questions about the table setting, the high chair for the little one, the missing starter order and when asked about wine choices.We used to love the quirky little Pizza Restaurant but the new location, which is a prime location I the heart of the Restaurant and entertainment part of town, does not match the original "Aesthetic" from their old location does not carry across well. The toilets looked shabby due to the exposed tile / brick / plaster combo and did not feel clean. The table we were at had rough edges and my partner’s jeans were covered in small wood slithers and I had to ensure my dress was far enough under the table so my tights didn't catch and get ripped to shreds.New Peter feels like it doesn’t know what it wants to be and the staff do not seem to care. Needless to say we wont be going again or taking our friends or family there.

Chose this place based on TripAdvisor review, was expecting a good evening. Unfortunately the service was very slow, despite the restaurant being virtually empty and the staff seemed to be more interested in talking to each other. Pizza and puddings were great otherwise the rating would have been much lower as let down by the slow and poor service.

First visit to the new site,excellent food and very friendly staff, great decor, very good portions and priced well,it’s a must visit.

Having been regulars at the old place we were looking forward to seeing what the expansion into a bigger building would offer. The excellent service was the same but the number of pizzas being churned out seemed to compromise the quality and simple excellence of the kitchen style original. Bring back the stripped back interior and menu. We’ve got enough mediocrity to choose from in town.

Ordered the Piccante pizza via Deliveroo for a Friday afternoon meal. I must say I had rather high hopes. Was greatly disappointed when I saw what was delivered. A soggy mess that some how tasted undercooked and burnt at the the same time. The Nduja was barely present and other toppings where measly too!! Sorry but they didn't live up to all the hype. ~£10 for this. Lucky it was a work do and my employer footed the bill lol.

Went for food and drinks with family friends. Relaxed vibe, all staff extremely friendly, food and drink top quality. Big shout out to Cata and Joe for looking after us this evening with quick and efficient service

Me and my wife Susan really enjoyed scoffing our wonderful cheese and tomato pizza whilst the kids seemed to enjoy screaming their head off and annoying every table around us. (sorry lol really told them off when we got home). The cheese trickled down onto my tongue as I like it and made my taste buds flourish as my life flashed before my eyes when the pizza crust scraped the back of my tonsils. Honestly, I would recommend this place to any top dog pizza lover! Premium pizza quality and fantastic waiters as usually our children gets us kicked out of fancy pizzerias like these.

Ordered the home pizza kit for 2 for mine and my girlfriends anniversary. Staff were very friendly upon collection. The actual pizza kit was perfect. The instructions were so easy to follow, and all the ingredients were great. Tasted just like a restaurant pizza. Would definitely recommend

This was our first visit to the takeaway in Loughborough. We could not pay by card and the waitress did not even propose to try the card on a different card reader. In the meanwhile the pizza got cold and they were rubbery and not tasty as much as they used to be a year ago. Also the menu has changed and the diavola pizza had been replaced by a spicy pizza with onion, which does not represents anymore the proper Italian flavour. Won’t return to Peters pizza Loughborough ever again and would not recommend the service received.

All I can say is Peter that is more than enough you saucy little boy. From the moment the delivery driver gave me a cheeky grin I knew I was in for a long and arduous night but boy was I wrong. So the moment you have all been waiting for... would I recommend? ABSOLUTELY! Great salt to spice ratio and even nicer people. Very good and very naughty.

In all honesty, the first time I ordered from Peter I was amazed by how fast the service was. In less than minutes after placing my order I had my pizza with me. Would definitely recommend!!

Peter’s pizza has been my go to pizza place for the 4 years I’ve spent at the uni, and I won’t go anywhere else! The pizza here is freshly made and so much better quality than the other cheap takeaway places!! Would highly recommend :)

Ordered a takeaway.Had to wait 48mins when I got there as the phone order hadn't been registered & had to take it again.How can someone mess up making Margarita pizza !!!Asked for less cheese & yet it was flooding in cheese.Only realised the base were burnt when I got home to eat never.... never again.Used to be good when at old premises.

Wow! Proper Italian pizza in a quirky setting. Loved every bit and didn’t leave until we were stuffed! Both white based and red based pizzas were beautifully cooked to perfection. We had a white caprese pizza, white Napoli pizza and two (red)margaritas. Garlic pizza bread was also divine and with a unique flavour same goes goat cheese salad. Now, we were full BUT you cannot come across a fab Italian without putting them to the Tirimisu test. Well, what can I say apart from PERFECT!!! ( better than some places in Italy too! ). The younger lot ravished their Peterella ( Nutella pizza). So glad that I got to be in the area thanks to Covid-19. And speaking of which , they made us feel really safe through the visit too. If you’re driving up or down the M1 it’s 10 minutes from junction 23 and worth the detour.

Very friendly staff, all measures in place for social distancing. This place has a lovely atmosphere and quirky decor, there is lots of interesting things to look at. The pizza were fresh and delicious, lots of choices for toppings. Their home made sourdough base is really good. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and doesn’t break the bank! Love the dinosaur that holds the bill for you! We were there to look around as my son is starting at uni so we will definitely be back.

Rustic pizza base, great choice of toppings, all in all really yummy pizza. And then there’s the decor ... certainly unusual and really fun ... never seen a Where’s Wally wall before. Oh and the music is great! Oh ... and check out the method of delivering the bill (pic)! Haha

These guys know how to pizza. Since Peter erupted into Loughborough’s food scene in 2013, they’ve been banging out pizzas of incredible quality. I have eaten here on multiple occasions over the years and have never once been dissatisfied with with the product nor service. Staff are friendly, pizzas are delicious (and great value) and the restaurant’s theming is beautifully done. Peter in Leicester city centre is also 10/10 if you happen to be over that way.
