This is a nice spot for just a coffee and croissant or a full meal. The atmosphere is nice and staff is friendly. Come to this spot to not be disappointed.

The food is good, with most of it being homemade and the staff is friendly. I like the atmosphere, and there's a cute area in the back to eat outside. Come here to not be disappointed.

A wonderful little place! The food is cooked to the highest of standards. The quality and taste wouldn't be out of place in any high end restaurant. The service is also great and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit!

Sutalia in Loughborough offers an inviting ambiance perfect for a family celebration, and my recent visit for a birthday meal with my wife and kids certainly had its highlights. Yearning for an authentic Italian experience, we were greeted with impeccable service from start to finish. Opting for a variety of dishes, we sampled the mozzarella sticks, olives, and creamy mushrooms to start. While the starters were enjoyable, the mozzarella sticks tasted somewhat standard, possibly pre-made and frozen. However, the crab tagliatelle stole the show with its rich and flavorful taste, leaving a lasting impression. Regrettably, the pizzas didn't quite meet our expectations. They lacked the authenticity of a stone-baked crust, instead resembling pre-made bases, and while the toppings were satisfactory, they failed to excite our taste buds. Despite this, the overall dining experience was elevated by the attentive hospitality and cozy ambiance reminiscent of a quaint café. Our bill, totaling £59 with soft drinks, felt reasonable given the exceptional service received. In conclusion, Sutalia in Loughborough may not have delivered a perfect culinary experience, but its warm atmosphere and top-notch service certainly make it a worthwhile dining destination for those seeking a cozy Italian meal.

Lovely food, no rush. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere. I had mushrooms in tomato and garlic sauce and a vege “Deli” pizza. Would have liked a glass of wine but no license.

Suitalia is a lovely family Italian run business. They cater for all food allergy requirements, with tasty you will come back again menu. I love to come for a special hot choccy and a homemade dessert, as a treat. I always get made to feel welcome, with amazing service from the Suitalia team. It's a must try because it will become your special place in your own time xx

My brother, mum and I visited the restaurant for the first time last night and were incredibly impressed. The staff were fantastic and the food was excellent. We shared the 3 small plates for £12 offer as a starter followed by two pasta dishes and a tasty homemade pizza with plenty of toppings! Cosy setting with a great menu for all eating preferences. Will definitely be returning soon! Also bring your own alcohol is a plus. Highly recommend.

Wonderful homemade Italian food. Happy and helpful staff. It was cool evening and on arrival we were given a hot water bottle, it was wonderful. Would highly recommend this restaurant. There is no licence so you take your own wine.

I was surprised to find the café so busy and pleased that I’d reserved a place. It’s obviously very popular! The place was buzzing. The owner clearly focused on warmly welcoming each and every guest. Her friendly open personality made us feel comfortable and pleased to be there. The menu is very full with a complex variety of dishes which would ensure there is plenty for everyone to try. The dishes showed creative chefs and had a good range of ingredients, sauces and cooking methods. All were very reasonably priced. There was a minor incident with an elderly guest. The staff demonstrated not only their concern but also their skills in managing and correctly attending to his needs. The dishes were simply presented, good sized portions and very tasty. We very much enjoyed the food and our visit,

We went for dinner and I informed them I was dairy free (due to allergy issues) I was informed I could have the bruschetta, when it arrived it was covered in Parmesan cheese so obviously sent it back. Then came the mains, I ordered a create your own pasta and checked I could eat everything that was in it. Once I had eaten the server came over and told me that for next time I should be aware that the veg was caramelised in butter (the onions are too but they gave me normal onion instead) and that they were sorry I had eaten it. Luckily whoever cooked the meal read the information on the order and didn’t put in the veg that would have made me extremely poorly. Very thankful for the cook, completely unbelievable that someone told me after I’d eaten it about the butter! Eating out with an allergy and intolerance is something that causes worry and concern, what should have been a lovely meal out was very stressful! Absolute shame as it looked such a lovely place!

This place is somewhat off the beaten restaurant path in Loughborough, but it is without doubt the best Italian to be found in the area, but it's worth going out of the way to eat here. They've just re-opened, and I was impressed with how well they are handling Health and Safety for customers. Despite having a wide menu, they manage to do all the food very well indeed, and at good prices. I've been coming here for several years, and I've never had something that wasn't delish. I would especially recommend the pizzas, lasagna, meatball sandwich. They have improved their selection of desserts I noted this time, with some additions such as pistachio cake. Service was absolutely brilliant this time. Because a new member of staff got something wrong on my order, they didn't ask me to pay, which shows how much they value their customers!! You can sit indoors, or out. There is parking just out front, or across the road there is a small car park that is free. They also do take-away. One thing to note is that because of Covid, they can't allow anyone to use the toilet, unless it's an emergency.

This place is a great little cafe. I visited on my own,not something I normally do and was a little nervous. However!! No need to be at all. The staff are amazing. Helpful when deciding what to have(the menu is amazing)and so friendly. I felt like Very at ease. Coffee was spot on and the pizza was beautiful. So much so I’ve been back and taken my family. Had pasta the second time and again absolutely beautiful. I love this place and now go every week. A must visit. What a great team and lovely food. Thank you 😊

We love to eat here, the pizzas are great (best pizzas in Loughborough IMO) but I tend to opt for my favourite dish - Spinach & ricotta cannelloni! It is just delicious. We usually eat in but you can buy any of the meals to take home & cook if you prefer. These aren't your typical ready meals by any means, these are so much better and decent sized portions. The good thing is you can take your own wine/beer in here, so happy days! :o)

We love this place, it has a great range of ready made pasta meals which are simple to cook and very tasty.I understand that their pizzas are great as well but as I don’t eat cheese, I can’t confirm this other than by comments from friends that have tried them.

Nice coffee shop in out of town space but with easy parking. Great coffee, cakes and fresh cooked food.. even better they have a great take out service and an amazing buffet service too!! Highly recommend!

Was near Loughborough town today and wanted somewhere to eat not quite in the heart of town so parking wouldn't be an issue, when we came across this little gem. Beautiful food and cakes, there's an option to take the food home which we will definitely be doing one night instead of a typical takeaway. Service excellent. Thank you

First time I’ve had a soft ciabatta that was warm and toasted, without being hard and crunchy. Lovely filling, good pasta, great coffee, and desserts too. Cooked breakfast looked appetising, going off the number of customers there for it. Will be back.

Interesting menu and friendly, real staff. Food all good. Set up unusual, food is cooked over the road then chilled then oven reheated. All seemed spotlessly clean. Looks and feels like a budget cafe, but food is excellent and service perfect. Thanks

Great place but not if you’re dairy free even if call ahead. They said they can sort something then couldn’t give our grandson who is five anything. Our grandson is very nervous with food but when you tell him it will be fine then it’s not this really doesn’t help his confidence.

A simple breakfast of coffee and toasted ciabatta with butter and preserves. Friendly staff and lively atmosphere. Just what I wanted.

Great to just pop in rather than cook at home. Pizzas are great but some other good dishes especially for vegetarians. Doesn't have alcohol licence but you can buy at off licence a couple of doors away and drink it with your meal.

Pizza was ready and hot as soon as I arrived to collect my order and as always the pizza was delicious.

Been to Sutalia many times and the food has always been great. It's a bit tight for pushchairs and doesn't have any high chairs so be aware. There's parking right outside. Ordered some party food recently and couldn't fault it, staff were great, the food was brilliant and so much of it. Reasonably priced too.

We often pop in for a reasonably priced dinner. They do meals ready to go too. I had nachos and my husband had pasta this time but I recommend the Morrocan lamb and my husband often has the polpette (meatballs). We also ended up ordering a childs portion of cheesy pasta this time becasuse our daughter didn't want the food we'd brought with us for her. There aren't any high chairs, probably because it's quite small and there might not be much storage but we bring our own that straps onto a normal chair. It's just a nice friendly priced with reasonably priced food, lovely cakes and tea too (though these aren't that cheap) but we didn't have any this time.

Popped in for a late lunch/snack - lovely coffee, and the Mexican Sauteed Potatoes were a delicious and generous portion. Lovely staff, attentive without being pushy

Local coffee and take away. Heard they make the best Italian take away in town. We had few dishes for the whole family and we had a delicious dinner at home. Cannot wait to go and try the pizza as well. Good choice indeed!

We eat at this cafe most times that we visit our daughter at the university. It’s a cafe with a good atmosphere, friendly staff and great tasting good value food. The idea of having the addition of their food as meals for one in the fridges to take away is inspired. Students and busy working adults should take advantage of this.

Went about 3:30pm. Ordered the mushroom pizza and ciabatta garlic, cheese and sundried tomato bread. Food arrived quickly and hot. The garlic bread was tasty and was a large portion for approx £4. The pizza had a bit too much cheese. Asked for olive oil to lightly drizzle pizza I was given a blend of olive oil which tasted revolting. Overall I enjoyed the food.

We visited for dinner , most of the meals are pre prepared, you can take them away or for small extra cost you can dine in , in a small area. The value for money is excellent , various pasta meals and garlic ciabatta bread....

What a warm welcome from the lovely ladies here. I was taken here for my birthday. Choice on the menu was fantastic, so many good things it was hard to choose.Decor nice and cleanliness was very good. Prompt service and has the plus that you can buy stuff and take home to cook if so desired. They also do take away pizza which is nice to know.Prices are very reasonable too. Will definitely return.

Got a pizza and salad to take away. Both were delicious - the pizza was one of the best I've tasted in Loughborough! They have a wide range of desserts such as cheesecakes, profiteroles and tarts which all looked incredible. I've had the cheesecake before and it was great. There's a nice atmosphere in the café itself and the service is friendly. Reasonable prices.

This is our favourite place to escape to - so we phoned to reserve a table last night as we had friends over today for a birthday celebration. We arrived this evening & no table had been reserved so the one big table was occupied by two lads & we had to try & get four seats and two separate tables joined together - but the crunch came when we requested gluten free pasta. None in & we were told we should have requested it when we phoned to reserve the table - but - excuse me - there was no reserved table so that argument is a non starter! Incredicably bad customer service to blame the customer!!! Huge disapointment and suprized as usually the service is tip top!

We live close to this little cafe/bistro and have used it many times for a bite to eat and coffee. The food us always nice and good value for money. We popped in yesterday afternoon and again the food was lovely, unfortunately the staff behind the counter were seen eating whilst preparing food....this is Basic food hygiene!!! Its now put me off going back I'm afraid.

My friend lives very close to the cafe and recommended it as a great pizza place to take my 15 year old daughter and 11 year old son. From the outset it was a fantastic experience. The welcome was genuine and the staff really couldn't have been any more helpful. The menu is wide-ranging and there is something for everyone. We really enjoyed the pizza, the pasta and the garlic bread and the desserts were absolutely awesome. Upon paying we got chatting to somebody (could have been Sue) and told her that we were actually with a group of 14 Pony Club members and their parents who would be competing all weekend at a Tetrathlon in nearby Quorn. Upon hearing this she gave me a Menu and said if there was anything she could do to help, then get in touch. The following day we contacted several restaurants and pubs and were mainly rudely told that they couldn't accommodate that size of group. As a final ditch attempt before we started a bbq we rang Sutalia and asked if they could accommodate us 20 minutes later. I think they were a little shocked, but with good cheer they said they would sort something out. As promised we tipped up and had an absolutely brilliant night. The food was super, the service even better. As they aren't licensed we were invited to nip around the corner to the local Bargain Booze and purchase our own alcohol. Glasses were provided and a party atmosphere ensued. When the bill arrived, were even more impressed. It worked out at around £12 a head for 2 courses and soft drinks. I really can't recommend this place highly enough.

This an average looking eatery from the outside but walk in and everything changes! This venue offers a variety of Italian themed food, eat in, take, take out, take home and bespoke cuisine, all good quality and excellent value for money in a relaxed environment. They also offer a catering service which appears to be popular tho I haven't tried it yet. Well worth a visit morning. Noon or night.

Not sure who Sue is and maybe it would be a nice thing from a marketing perspective for this Italian and 'world food' place to let costumers know and there has been a strong attempt at branding with the name. We parked in Tesco's car park and then walked over to where the restaurant (a small place that seats around twenty next to a second hand bike shop) although there is some awkward parking just off the busy roundabout. Sutalia feels like it has been set up to appeal to school runners and the more middle class denizens of Loughborough shopping at Tesco's over the road rather than the residents of the nearby Shelthorpe. Anyway enough of the social commentary let's focus on the food...Our large lattes were surface of the sun hot and had a good flavour. I had a Mexican chilli which was nice and spicy, piping hot and served with plain rice - almost as good as The Cactus Cafe in Loughborough but lacking any clever trimmings. My girlfriend had a ricca colazione ciabatta - bacon, egg, cheese and mushrooms which was very tasty by all accounts and also nice and hot. Cold plates are excused given that the food is so hot. I spotted a very nice looking pizza and will probably be having one next time we visit.The pricing was rather odd in places - some things you'd expect to be cheaper like their full English breakfast were pricey and then their desserts and coffee were very reasonable. We had a large slice of pecan pie with nice cream (not squirted out of a can) and a few berries. We shared and to be honest I don't think I would've been able to eat it all myself.The place is small but didn't feel cramped and there is a loo through the back of the kitchen for customers. They also sell cold packaged versions of their food for you take home and warm up which is an interesting feature. The staff were very friendly and I wish them all the best with this place as I'm sure they face rather stiff competition from the nearby McDonald's and Tesco's cafe.

We called in after school to try the pizza and to grab a coffee. What a brilliant find!! The pizza and coffee were delicious, the service great and the price fantastic! We will be back soon and fairly often I predict!!!

Went here for lunch on a Sunday, it was quite busy but we did manage to get a table (it is a small place so there aren't many tables). You can either takeaway their fresh ready meals to cook at home or have them cooked for you there, which is what we did. You can also have thugs like pizzas and pastas made for you there. The tetrazzini pasta was delicious and very hot as and the spinach salad was also delightful. The staff were very helpful and kind. We will definitely be returning soon.

This cafe is now known as Sutalia. It is an Italian cafe located in a small strand of shops opposite a national-chain supermarket and would be a much more suitable place to chill than any soul-less offering you might find in said supermarket :) We had a pleasant lunchtime snack of hot-filled ciabattas but you can get very substantial meals here too. I saw the following delights pass my eyes on the way to other customers fresh pizzas, huge lasagnas, pasta dishes and so on. I even saw one lady eating her salad with a "side" of humungous hot-chocolate. It was very busy mid-Sunday afternoon and we were luck to get a table, as it is quite a small venue. STaff were friendly and efficient. It would have been nice to have a beer there but they don't seem to be licenced, though to be fair it is a cafe, not a restaurant. A pleasant pit-stop eatery.

No idea if the place has new owners, but this is now an Italian cafe/diner/take-away, specialising in pasta and pizza dishes 'inspired by Sue', whoever Sue is! Slightly bigger now (a shelf unit has been removed) it is clean and bright and simple, with a long mirror along one wall. The food we had today was very good - a huge portion of a creamy sauce over spagetti (about £7.50 per dish). A varied menu, with a decent selection for us veggies as well as for meat eaters. Friendly service, too.

Lovely little coffee shop with a good range of desserts on offer (the cheesecakes particularly are spot on!) Although only a small cafe, all their food is to the highest standard and in generous proportions. They also offer a much more adventurous and diverse menu compared to other similar establishments.After just one visit, we booked them to cater for our wedding. We were extremely impressed at their presentation of food and the amount for the price per a head and have heard back from several guests that it was beautifully, different food!

I eat here often twice a day. I am not the owner. The owner has barely time to draw breath as she is run off her feet with this very busy and popular little place :-)

Really poor overpriced breakfast. Serving it on wooden board and roasting hot skillet tries to disguise the small portions. It had also been obviously microwaved for too long and was uneatable when served

This eatery has a varied and appetising menu coupled with good service and quality ingredients. They provide eat in, takeaway or take home selections highly recommended. One not to be missed

I live just up the road from this place. I have been a customer for many years, and have never had cause for complaint. The food is simply excellent quality and fresh. The meals can be eaten in, or simply taken home to be put in the oven or microwave. They will prepare bulk quantities of any of their recipes if you're having a fewer people over.The pizzas are probably the best in Loughborough.Sunday breakfast is great here too.

This is a nice little restaurant come take away. The food here is always of excellent quality, the choice is just about right and from what others tell me their home made cooked on demand pizzas are excellent.We usually buy a pasta meal each, which are excellent value for money and simply ready to heat up. As a treat we also include a ciabatta and if we are feeling a little naughty a choice of one of their delicious desserts.I would recommend their food to everyone.

Have visited many times and always enjoy the experience. Coffee, meals, and cakes are great. Pasta dishes are their specialiality and there are plenty to choose from. Breakfasts are also good.

It is not clear on entering if you need to order (and pay) at the counter or take a table and wait for service. It is a small crowded dining area, not helped by a constant stream of customers wanting take aways. The owner sits at a table reading a paper and drinking coffee. OK it is your business but to do this continually during busy periods will not get me visiting again. The food is good, if a little pricey but it takes an age to get served.

My personal trainer has been raving about Cooking made simple for a very long time. He says when he cant be bothered to cook he gets a takeaway from here, he said they do pastas, pizzas and range of desserts. Usually Friday is our shopping, day and this gem is basically on the outer level of Loughborough, on the way to the big TESCO. Every Friday evening when we drive past this place they were always people eating there. So today we took the plunge and I must say I let the wife order, and she picked Pollo alla Crema, cheese wine sauce is something I dont usually go for but the portions were so big, I thought pointless taking two. Then came the best selection of the evening, Pudding obviously, Choc & Orange cheesecake slice at £2.75 was expensive but you pay for what you get and perhaps one of the best choc cheesecakes I have eaten till date.Pastas are priced a little high above £5 for a cafe people may think its a little too much but a portion is good enough for 2 people and the quality and taste of the dish was worth it. Chicken was lovely even mushrooms and sauce lets say I didnt let any of it go to waste lol.I was surprised that TripAdvisor didnt have this cafe on its list so have added it on. Cooking made Simple, cater for parties and for small house parties where you may want pasta for 4+ people.Staff were pleasant, seating was available and place looked very clean. They do a special breakfast also I was told and will need to check that out one day.I should have taken photos of the desserts, I could have taken a slice of all them and left the pasta they looked that divine.Price may seem high, wife mentioned it twice regarding cheesecake when you can buy whole cheesecake in Mark's for £4 but I told her when we visit London, Borough Market (yes we always go there for brunch) prices there are very high but we pay it as its top quality. Same can be said about Cooking Made Simple.There is nothing SIMPLE about the cuisine available at Cooking Made Simple, where all food is freshly prepared on a daily basis.This will be the first of many visits and yes I will review it again!!!!
